The Alana Hotel and Conference Sentul City by ASTON

Overall super good

Nothing

Nice clean rooms which are reasonably spacious. Good location for Sentul, close to main shopping mall but short taxi ride to most places, not a lot within walking distance.

Bit pricey for what it is. Not a lot of good eating options within walking distance.

Location, calmness(peace of mind), staff were excellent and very courteous

When food is ordered it is delivered all at once. Ideally to me shoukd be: 1- Drinks 2- Appetizers 3- Starters 4- Main meal 5- Sweets/Deserts follwed by coffee(should it be requested).

The staffs are so friendly. Room was clean and bed is comfortable.

During breakfast, we need to pay extra if we want to order cappucino while any other hotel provided it for free.

Prijs ontbijt was hoog vergeleken met andere locaties.

The Alana Hotel has excellent facilities — a great gym and a lovely pool. Above all, the staff are wonderful: friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Special thanks to Willy at the bar — he really stands out🙏🏻♥️Very good ice coffees by him as well! The bartenders and reception in general are fantastic. Not everyone speaks English, but that’s ok! The room was very comfortable with excellent air conditioning. Nice place to stay a few days before heading to Jakarta again.

The food is good; the à la carte menu is a bit limited and some dishes tend to run out (tiramisu, raspberry ice cream, chicken saté and lemon grass). This is a point of attention for the person that controls the inventory management but there’s a nice large buffet that changes regularly. The spa is good but only open from 0900-1200 in the morning.

Location

Door can not close properly. Very dangerous for guests who don’t aware

Location wise it is convenient Staffs are friendly n helpful

Towels and bed sheets could be cleaner - they look white n fresh - could be improved

Pemandangannya

Breakfasts were good although I would have liked an option to have Cappaccino rather than just tea, water, juice. I would also have preferred to have croissants warmed - I did put on in the toaster but it burnt the top and spoilt it a bit. Apart from that the breakfast was a good experience on both days of our stay. Live Music/Bar on Saturday night we went there and the music was really good. The staff were nice BUT it took almost 30 minutes to get the Bir Bintang and Long Island Ice Tea we ordered. I felt that was far too long. The reception and bell staff w4ere all very pleasant and very helpful.

The phone in our room 9022 was crackling and it was difficult to hear. After calling the engineer arrived quickly and worked for about 20 minutes. Was a long time before we used the phone again but it was again crackling and difficult to hear when we did. The room directly above us was very noisy until midnight...I thought it may have been a gymnasium but after asking around I was told it was a guest room so probably just noisy guests on the first night of our stay.

Easy-going and helpful staff, with smooth check-in and check-out. Grab and Gojek transport were also convenient and hassle-free.

The rooms felt dated, and the bathroom was below expectations, with mould on the walls and grout. Our water heater did not function properly, with the temperature constantly fluctuating between hot and cold, which made showering uncomfortable. The minibar lower shelf was filled with water and not well maintained. While the staff were friendly and helpful, overall the stay was disappointing and we would not return. In addition, Ah Poong Market was not as described in online reviews. there was very little to see or do, which added to the overall disappointment.

The food by the pool

Have no comment

The location is near enough to a big shopping mall if you are looking for food. The environment is lush with greenery.

None

Location, cleanliness

The breakfast was superb - such a great variety of food. The pool area was great - nice and sunny and quite sheltered from the wind. Location very close to the big Food Market -walking distance of around 100 m. The room had great views overlooking the pool and surrounding farmland.

Had to call room service as no face cloths or hand towels were left in the bathroom - only the bath towels, that was sorted out pretty quickly.

We have stayed here many times and like the hotel, but this time we had issues with the room where we had no hot water for a day, water was leaking onto the bathroom floor from the toilet hose and we had 3 power cuts early in the morning Not quite a bargain for Rp4.2J The breakfast is decent, the pool is great and so is the coffee at the poolside cafe.

We had a beautiful mountain view, and the food in the restaurant for breakfast was delicious

very good

no I didn't, so far everythings is okay

コンセントの対応ができなかった

Location, staffs

Not sure I have any from my last stay.

Kamarnya bersih, poolnya oke, BF enak-enak dan bervariasi.

No.

Good security. The body wash and shampoo smell good.

The breakfast rate was very expensive (Rp 250.000 per person). At this room rate, breakfast should have been included. Cannot use swimming pool. A stage was erected at the swimming pool for new year celebration.

location, facilities and service were good. love the 3 batches of breakfast. prevent overcrowded and give flexibility for us to match our agenda. also foods were varied and delicious😋

room for shower after swimming could be more .

The staff are friendly

Smelly towels, hair in the bed, too much sun light in the room in the morning, can’t then on bqtbroom light because the entire room gets lit

Near to mall. staff are quite friendly They had a supper kiosk on sat which serves indomie which is cool

the most expensive hotel in the area., would expect more. prob a 3 star the most. Shower head came off. The pillow cover was like pale yellow, prob just old . no disposable slippers, just rubber slipper

It was good

Nothing

Very near the venue SICC

None

Location is not too far & strategy

Green

Outdoor a lot mosquito

The room was comfortable, however there are some insects coming . But overall was good experience 😌 thank you The Alana Hotel 🏨 to accommodate me during my short stay.

Nothing all perfect.

Decent size of room

Too many people at Breakfast. Small swimming pool, small garden.

The rooftop terrace has 270 degrees view of surroundings. Staff are very nice. Location is very good. Buffet dinner is good value for money, variety 9/10, quality 7/10.

Safety box didn’t work and toilet was leaking. Both were fixed upon our request. They should’ve checked this before guests are coming.

The environment

Healtier Food, less oil and sugar.

Staff are friendly and supportive to cater for guest needs

Rooftop closure to guests. I believe, if Rooftoo is promoted well like Bumi Aki and specialise on attracting a certain class of locals and local dishes (without loud kareoke), it will be a very attractive destination and will be full throughout the week. Staff should be given English training to help them better meet guest requests. Some things are lost in translation, and what you request is not what you get.

The view from balcony

Price is a bit high when long weekend

The room and swimming pool is clean. The location is near The Aeon Mall and Richie Lake House.

Nothing. All is good.

The surrounding green environment

Pricey In-dining food

The room obtained was as requested.

The online registration requirement should be notified before we reach the receptionist, so the queing should not be that long. Outdoor space and kids activities should be added especially during school holidays.

Perfect location, beautiful swimmingpool and chilling area, lots of activities for family (biking, swimming, children playground)

There is no connecting door, which is quite essential when traveling with family

location

some noise at my upper room

Amazing Breakfast, the staff are supper friendly, there is 10 min walk mall close by.

They have an excellent 11th floor restaurant that closes at 11:30 pm and sometime just closes earlier and you are requested to leave, this area that they can improve on since we are willing stay and order.

shower hot water not consistent.

The staff were always helpful.

Pump water pressure fluctuates while showering causing the water to periodically change from hot to cold to hot, making it unpleasant. They should consider using variable speed pump to maintain pressure at all water outlets. That might help solving the problem discussed.
