Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Die Tram 40 um die Ecke führt wunderbar zum Schottentor. Ruhige Lage, gepflegte Umgebung, hübsche Einrichtung. Die Wohnung liegt im zweiten Stock ohne Aufzug.
Booking schürt eine hohe Erwartungshaltung durch die nicht nach Wohnung getrennten Fotos. Man weiß nicht, welche Fotos die gemietete Wohnung darstellen. Sogar auf dem Bestätigungsausdruck wird ein falsches Foto gezeigt. So erklärte die Vermieterin.

Logement très excentré donc beaucoup de temps a passer dans les transports en commun Nous pensions avoir une terrasse donc grosse déception a l'arrivée :le logement attribué ne correspondait pas aux photos du départ au moment de la réservation sur le site ..c'est compliqué pour nous :nous avons reçu un descriptif juste avant de partir sans trop comprendre ...nous pensions vraiment avoir pris une option plus chère pour avoir un extérieur Pas d ascenseur c'est une précision utile pour les personnes âgées ou invalides

Reviewed May 7, 2026Quiet area with a great atmosphere. The apartment was very spacious, very clean, and had high ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen. There was a lovely coffee and breakfast spot right in front of the property, plus a beautiful large park nearby. We were lucky with the weather during our stay and had a wonderful time — starting the mornings with breakfast in the garden under the sun, taking the bus to the city center during the day, and ending the evenings with dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant. The host was very helpful, gave us great local tips, and checked on us during the stay to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.
You can add this as a balanced developmental area section in your review: The bed was big and the pillows were good, though the mattress and linens could be improved a bit. There was a memory foam pad on top of the mattress, which personally was not very comfortable for me, but I understand this is quite individual. I also prefer more neutral linens. Another small point was that there were no blinds or blackout curtains on the windows, so the sunlight can wake you up early in the morning. However, these were very minor details compared to all the great benefits of the stay.

Only fault was that the shower flooded the bathroom and then we found that the shower plug was cleared with hair and muck and had to give it a good clean. Which was gross. Other than that a really nice place to stay. Next to the tram stop

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Εξαιρετική επιλογή!!! Το σπίτι βρισκεται εξω απο το κέντρο άλλά με εύκολη προσβαση σε αυτό. Πολύ ήσυχη γειτονιά. Ειναι πεντακάθαρο με όλες τις ανέσεις, δεν του λειπει τίποτα. Μακάρι να είχαμε και άλλες μέρες ώστε να αξιοποιούσαμε και την αυλή καθώς ο καιρος δεν βοήθησε τις μέρες που πήγαμε.

Reviewed Nov 13, 2025The location is perfect. In the really smart part of the city, right next to a perfect tram station that goes into heart of the city. The property is beautifully decorated, well equipped. It’s very cozy, spacious and has great facilities. We loved it.
An iron and ironing board would be good. Not sure if it’s the internet or the tv itself but Netflix wouldn’t really work for us. The national tv options for English are really bad. The noise of the upstairs apartment did get a bit annoying. Some sound proofing of the ceiling would be great.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2025This is a wonderful apartment! Part of a period townhouse the apartment's rooms are spacious with high ceilings, some vintage furniture, large windows and parquet flooring. All that one could need was here! A large comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen with the all-important kettle, a large warm bathroom with spacious walk-in shower and a balcony overlooking a leafy garden. Easy access to and from the city via tram route 40 which stops 100 yards away and runs until midnight. There is a gorgeous cafe nearby (100 yards) should you want to partake of breakfast. Loved it!

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Die Wohnung war unglaublich sauber und mehr als perfekt ausgestattet. Küche, Küchengeräte, Messer,Töpfe, Pfannen usw. In guter Qualität, richtig sauber. Ein riesen Kühlschrank mit vollwertigem Gefrierfächern. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Ebenso die sitzmöbel bis auf die Stühle am schön großen Esstisch. Die Wohnung ist wundervoll durchgestylt mit wundervollen Lampen und Interieur. Super praktisch war auch die tolle kleine Kaffeemaschine. Die Lage ist herrlich ruhig in einem sehr gediegenen Viertel von Wien und nur ein, zwei Minuten von der Straßenbahnhaltestelle (Endstation 40er) entfernt.
Das klappernde parkett macht einen fertig. Ich hatte immer Angst, dass sich gleich der Mieter von unten beschwert. Die Wunderschöne lampeninstallation im Wohnzimmer hat ja einen Dimmer, aber leider sind die LED Birnen nicht dimmbar. Da hat man dann entweder zu helles Licht, da man den Dimmer auf maximum stellen muss, oder ein flackerndes stroboskop. Die birnen sollte man mal gegen dimmbare ersetzen. Es wäre schön, wenn es bei booking com besser erkennbar wäre, welches die Wohnung mit Terrasse ist. Ich dachte, es wäre eventuell eine gemeinschaftsterrasse und von jeder Wohnung aus zugänglich. Die haben wir sehr vermisst. Das nächste Mal weiß ich es.

Die zwei bekamen dann 1 Durchgangszimmer mit angrenzendem Kinderzimmer- unmöglich für Arbeitskollege und -kollegin! Bettwäsche mit eingetrockneten Blutflecken! Keine Badtür - nur Vorhang! Nachts musste andere Unterkunft für die beiden gesucht werden!! Kein nachträgliches Entgegenkommen der Vermieterin!!

Depite its charming image the apartment does need some refurbishment, particularly of furniture. Some was worn-out. Classifying the apartment as "boutique style" apartment is rather subjective

Reviewed Oct 21, 2024Lovely tasteful apartment in a great location, quiet with many little extras and a fully equipped kitchen, great for staying in Vienna for as long as you like. The bed is super comfy, internet works great, many supermarkets around and a lovely green and leafy area. Host excellent and great communication, will be back for sure.
Only 2 small things - but these are "luxury problems" - there is no washing machine and this is probably something I should have noticed in the description myself so it would be great for the long term staying guest to have a list nearby that shows where people could go and wash their laundry. Not an issue for short term stays but I was there for almost a week and could have done with this. The second one is to maybe state where you can buy the coffee machine capsules, I could not find them in any supermarket but again this is not really a problem, but may help some future guests even more

Though out of the centre, the tram will take you in 20 min to downtown Vienna. Walking distance to winefields and very nice and green surroundings
The heating was programmed and I was not able to turn it down for a longer period. Also no big issue but I missed wineglasses. Minor things and did not really bother me.

The best part was how quiet it was! We were concerned about the noise of staying in the city and it was a pleasant surprise. The bed was really comfortable and the apartment was very spacious and full of natural light. Loved being able to open the windows and feel the fresh air and see the green treetops. Easy access to everything. Margaretha was so friendly and prompt with assistance and information for area restaurants, transportation details. We will rent here again if returning to Vienna.

NETFLIX AND INTERNET WAS AN ADDED BONUS. EASY ACCESS WITH A KEY CODE ESPECIALLY ARRIVING LATE EVENING.
THE FRIDGE/FREEZER GAVE A LOAD THUD NOISE WHEN SWITCHING ON AND OFF THIS UNFORTUNATELY HAPPENED THROUGH THE NIGHT. IT DIDN'T CAUSE A PROBLEM BUT NEEDS ATTENTION BY THE HOST.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2022The apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood. You can either hang out there or take easy transport into the hold city. The apartment is wonderful and the host is incredible - she was so hopeful with all of our questions and helped us with our travels. The perfect host!
