Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Our room contained two queen beds, the one we slept in was very comfortable, linens were nice, 4 puffy pillows for each bed, large absorbent towels, two chairs and a table, minuin fridge. Room was clen, area was quiet. Comp breakfast was really good, with lots of selection. Only Mikes within walking distance

Der Parkplatz direkt am Hotel ist von tiefen Schlaglöchern, Pfützen nach Regen und Dreck gekennzeichnet. Der bessere Parkplatz befindet sich unterhalb. Die Möblierung ist teilweise abgewohnt, die Betten zu weich. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein, in Stoßzeiten kein Platz zu finden.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Das Hotel lag ganz am Rand der Ortschaft. Zimmer und Parking waren okay - wie wir es erwartet hatten. Das Frühstück war für deutsche Gäste wie üblich knapp bemessen. Super war die Nähe zum direkt benachbarten Restaurant. Wir waren zufrieden.
Als wir da waren, hatte das Hotel einen Wasserschaden, aber das kann ja passieren.

Front desk Staff was slow to respond even when they weren't busy. The room card failed two days in a row, so after a hard days work, you had to wait to get i to the room..TV quit working due to pushing the wrong buttons, got no answer when I phoned the front desk to get guidance.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenes aber gut in Schuss gehaltenes Mittelklasse Hotel etwas außerhalb von Slave Lake. Lagewünsch Zimmer wurde perfekt berücksichtigt. Komfortable ruhige Zimmer mit bequemen Betten und allem was man braucht.
Aufzug total vermüllt und schmutzig. Frühstück eher dürftig. Keinerlei Kulanz bei der check-out Zeit (ich hatte nur um ein paar Minuten gebeten) und sehr unkanadisch-unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin beim check-out

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Breakfast was great! I enjoyed the waffles with bananas, but would have liked to have the option of whipped cream for it. Coffee to go was great as well.
The registration staff would not let me use the public bathroom after I had checked out and went to have breakfast. She gave me back my key and told me to use the bathroom in the room that I'd checked out of. When I got to the room, the cleaning staff were already in there and after explaining to her, she took me back to registration, got the key and let me into the public bathroom. Very disappointing experience!

Reviewed May 31, 2026Sehr schön gelegen - habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch Sehenswürdigkeiten sind leicht erreichbar. Frühstück ist gut. Würde dort jederzeit wieder Station machen.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026The LakeView Inn is comfort I can rely on. The check in is efficient, the rooms have comfortable beds and the location is great. The only challenge here is parking. It's a very busy place and finding a spot where you can plug in your vehicle when the weather is cold is sub-optimal.
Access to plugging in your vehicle is a challenge due to the configuration of the parking lot.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025I liked the reviews online, absolutely beautiful ratings for cleanliness. I liked that it wasnt one of the lesser hotels we have stayed at previous in sketchy locations.
I didn't like the fact that my daughter immediately found a pill right beside her bed. She's 8. I'm glad she wasn't a crawling baby/toddler and knew not to touch it and let me know. I immediately turned it into front desk Friday night approx 5/6pm right after checking in. I didn't like the garbage/hair collection under my daughter's pillows that she didn't even get to use yet. She slept on her teddy so we didn't notice the underneath until morning, unfortunately. I didn't like the chewed tobacco thing that was spit out and left under the kitchen table to welcome me for breakfast. I didn't like the hair in the shower before I could even take one. I didn't like that the cleanliness really wasn't there at all. And most importantly, the window was unlocked upon checking in. The safety issues there are even quite concerning.
