Stayed at Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang for a business trip. The hotel is directly connected to OPI Mall, so everything is very convenient. Room was clean, staff was helpful, and breakfast had good local options. Highly recommend for visitors to Palembang.

Close to the city center. Room is quite spasious, the pool is famiky friendly for kids. The breakfast having variety of food and palembang specialty. The hotel is connected to mall so i can get grab anything i need easily

This hotel is located in a district a little outside the city of Palembang. For an international hotel chain, the facilities provided are quite standard with a good gym and swimming pool. The rooms are also quite neat and clean. It seems that it is often used as a meeting place by government agencies and other events so that it is quite crowded like when I stayed there for a business meeting. My opinion due to very limited elevator capacity for hotel guests and meeting participants is inadequate because the ballroom and room access are one, and there is no special access to the ballroom, so it is quite disruptive to mobility, they should make special access to the ballroom to prevent long and crowded elevator queues.

One of the comfortable hotel we ever sleep in... Access mall is very good way to spot in, good view, and most importantly our kids are feeling happy. No tips needed, just keep going and served well. ThankS for the crew, you all awesome.....!!!

since arrival and departure, we felt comfortable in the hotel. clean, hospitality, good food & beverage. free parking included secure and easy access to and from the airport. this is also closed to shopping center, sport and recreational places.

Located on strategic location with a room, amenities, facilities, breakfast, afternoon snack, parking, building & design, and services that are 9/10. The hotel is suitable for staycation yet business trip. Keep it on track and improve further 👍🏻

Everything. Service is very slow. Staff ignorance. Asking something and never arrive and come after 10 times of calling with different people.

the staffs were very nice and helpful. we asked for a crib and they gave us the crib already installed, completed with baby pillows etc. very great hospitality. i have no complain for the location because i was visiting relatives nearby anyway. connected to the malls so no problem for finding food.

for a 5 star hotel, they should take a look more into the cleanliness. i’m very picky with the cleanliness of the hotel, i found big stains (brown stains) on the bed so i asked them to change the bed sheet the next morning (we were so tired for the trip, i had no energy to wait for them to change it) the bidet was also dirty so my husband had to clean it before using it. maybe the staffs should be careful before installing the bed sheets :)

We’ve been staying in Wyndham Opi for two times. Ants were on the console table before we requested the housekeeping staff to clean. We offered into a new room the second night

Feel cheated. Paid the equivalent of 115 USD for a so called "Executive Queen Room", because was the lowest room type available. My partner booked an "De Luxe Queen Room" for the next night for USD 50. When moving in, found out it was the exactly same room standard. Only on the 11th instead of the 15th floor and we had two small towels less. Outrageous for what they dare take 115 USD! Service staff is undertrained. Like, insisting the bill to be paid while we're eating. Then refusing to put it on the room number, because the deposit they asked us for at check in was lower than the bill. Such a fuzz while we were trying to enjoy our dinner. The corridors are full of dirty plates from finished room service, even at 8 in the morning the plates from the AFTERNOON BEFORE are not cleared from the floor. Cockroach heaven. Same at 2pm, breakfast room service plates still around. Staff walks through with empty hands, not picking it up ("not my job" ). Will definitely not come back to Wyndham Opi in Palembang.

Property was great facilities were really good, staff were very accommodating. Great place to visit if you want some downtime and relaxation not a very touristy place.

Overall: This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. If we ever have to come to Palembang again, we might consider staying closer to the Palembang Icon mall. The immediate hotel area is ok but when you go out, it’s a bit chaotic and there’s no sidewalk. Laundry is expensive so we found a local laundry place nearby (via Grab) called Syia that did a excellent job for a one day service and our clothes were pressed and smells so good! Bathrooms in the rooms smelled like urine. Had to change rooms due to the strong smell. There must be something in the drainage because several of us who stayed there had the same issue. The door to the walk in shower had a crack so the water spilled out to the bathroom floor. When we notified housekeeping, they told us to just put a towel over it. The towels are old and smelled like mildew. Lock pad on the door and safe also were not working and had to call two separate times to have fixed. Customer service and communication from hotel management was difficult. They seemed reluctant to contact their customers and sent other people on their behalf to handle questions or escalations (which were not helpful). As feedback, when you organize a group “buffet” at the Lotus Lounge, there should be ample food AND plates to cover the number of people in the party.

The hotel was excellent The breakfast was amazing My only thing to fault is that there is a huge language barrier which made it very difficult to communicate other than that it was lovely
