Accomodatie is ronduit slecht. - doorgezakte matrassen die 5 jaar geleden al aan vervanging toe waren. - kamer niet schoon - na 5 minuten douchen koud water Hotel met veel achterstallig onderhoud. Prijs/ kwaliteit helemaal zoek. Wij hadden hier 2 nachten geboekt maar zijn na 1 nacht met rugpijn vertrokken. Ik snap niet dat dit hotel zo’n hoge score heeft?? Enkel positief punt is het ontbijt

El trato del personal fue excelente, siempre pendientes de que nuestra estancia fuera agradable y resolviendo nuestras dudas. El desayuno está bien. La habitación es muy amplia. El hotel es una casa colonial muy bonita, tiene dos plantas y no tiene ascensor. La piscina está muy bien y se agradece cuando regresas de las excursiones.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026L’albergo è assolutamente fascinoso, con arredi d’epoca e comunque tutto ciò di cui c’è bisogno (acqua calda e aria condizionata, per capirci). Ho letto critiche per l’assenza dell’ascensore: non venite in Cambogia se non riuscite a far le scale. Il personale è molto gentile.
C’è un po’ rumore dalla strada e dal tempio vicino.

La chambre pour 3 personnes sous les toits etait un peu exiguë et chaude. Il manquait des volets ou rideaux occultants pour protéger de la lumière.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Prachtig historisch gebouw op een goede locatie om Battambang te bezoeken. Het hotel heeft veel potentieel met een ruim zwembad, restaurant, karaktervolle ruimtes/kamers. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Wat ooit een prachtig hotel was, is sindsdien verwaarloosd. We hadden slechte matrassen, de bril van het toilet was stuk, kapotte zetel. De airconditioning werkte wel, maar de kamer koelde pas in combinatie met een fan anders was de koeling onvoldoende. Het zwembad werd niet gereinigd, bladeren bleven liggen en rotten op de bodem. Het restaurant die ooit geroemd was om z'n Franse keuken, is nu vuil. Vroeger kon je er antieke artefacten kopen en historische tekeningen/foto's, nu heeft dit plaats gemaakt voor rijstwijn en souvenirs die ook op de markt te vinden zijn. Wij hadden twee kamers geboekt voor ons gezin en na 1 nacht zijn we naar de familiekamer verhuisd omwille van het slechte bed. Van het restaurant hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt. Het ontbijt was goed. Een duur hotel die z'n prijs niet waard meer is...

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026If you’re planning on a very nice and relaxing stay in BTB with beautiful and spacious rooms, La villa was a great place for us to enjoy a nice quiet stay. The antique feel of the rooms and everything makes you feel transported through time, if you have a knack for older buildings and older infrastructures then this place will speak to you in a lot of ways.
Not much to dislike at all, the property and staff were amazing, though the heavy rain did kind of seep through a bit into our room but that wasn’t their fault so yeah!

The historical building has its pluses and minuses. The bathroom lacks the water pressures. Showering is a little difficult because there is no curtain and water splashes everywhere on the floor creating a slipping hazard.

Ci hanno fatto fare la doccia in un’altra camera. Al rientro nella ns camera abbiamo visto tanti piccoli insetti sulle lenzuola. Oltretutto pizzicavano. Ci hanno cambiato la camera. Mi spiace ma non ci tornerei. Costa caro rispetto a quanto ti danno.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Von der ersten Minute an wurden wir mit einer Herzlichkeit empfangen, die den Aufenthalt sofort besonders gemacht hat. Das gesamte Team war stets hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und immer gut gelaunt – man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen. Das Hotel selbst ist ein wunderschön restauriertes Gebäude im französischen Kolonialstil. Das Haus wurde ursprünglich Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts von kambodschanischen Handelsleuten erbaut und hat seinen historischen Charme bis heute bewahrt. Gleichzeitig wurde es mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail renoviert, sodass sich Geschichte und Komfort auf sehr harmonische Weise verbinden. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der traumhafte Garten. Er ist eine grüne Oase der Ruhe und lädt zum Entspannen und Abschalten ein. Besonders angenehm ist der große Swimmingpool, der ausreichend Platz bietet, um ein paar Bahnen zu schwimmen oder sich einfach im Wasser abzukühlen. Rund um den Pool gibt es gemütliche Plätze zum Lesen, Ausruhen oder einfach zum Genießen der entspannten Atmosphäre. Auch kulinarisch hat uns das Hotel überzeugt: Das Essen war durchweg sehr gut, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Besonders positiv fanden wir außerdem den konsequenten Einsatz umweltfreundlicher Materialien. So wird beispielsweise vollständig auf Plastikflaschen verzichtet – ein schönes Zeichen für nachhaltiges und verantwortungsbewusstes Reisen. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ideal. Direkt am Fluss gelegen, sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu erreichen, und Tuktuks stehen jederzeit in ausreichender Zahl zur Verfügung, sodass man sich problemlos durch die Stadt bewegen kann. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel La Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
Wenn man wirklich ganz genau hinschauen möchte, könnte man höchstens die Dusche erwähnen: Sie besteht aus einem einfachen Sprühkopf ohne feste Halterung. Für uns war das jedoch nur eine kleine Randnotiz und hat den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck unseres Aufenthalts in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt.

La rénovation de la Villa a été faite de façon rudimentaire ; les chambres pourraient être plus confortables ainsi que la salle de bains. Le produits proposés au petit déjeuner pourraient également être de meilleure qualité

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Un’esperienza semplicemente fantastica! Il soggiorno è stato davvero eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista. La posizione dell’hotel è perfetta: vicinissimo al centro storico di Battambang e allo stesso tempo immerso in una zona molto viva la sera, tra mercatini, aree pedonali e danze all’aperto che rendono l’atmosfera unica, autentica e coinvolgente. La piscina è meravigliosa, la stanza ampia e curata nei minimi dettagli, con uno stile elegante e raffinato. Ho adorato il design della villa, che trasmette carattere, armonia e un profondo senso di comfort. Il vero valore aggiunto, però, è senza dubbio il personale: sinceramente cordiale, sempre disponibile e animato da un sorriso autentico che ti fa sentire a casa fin dal primo istante. Una menzione speciale va a Nakim alla reception, gentilissimo e prezioso per ogni necessità, oltre che guida d’eccezione come nostro tuk tuk driver, e a Ioem “Thea”, fantastica, spiritosa e sempre premurosa. Eccezionale anche la cucina: gli chef sono estremamente talentuosi, capaci di valorizzare sia la cucina khmer che quella western con piatti curati, gustosi e sorprendenti. Un soggiorno indimenticabile che consiglio con tutto il cuore!
L’hotel fornisce spazzolini da denti, dentifricio e altri articoli per il bagno, ma potrebbe migliorare il modo in cui questi vengono confezionati. Attualmente spazzolino e dentifricio sono inclusi nella stessa confezione; tuttavia lo spazzolino può essere utilizzato per più giorni, mentre la quantità di dentifricio è spesso sufficiente solo per un giorno. Una fornitura con spazzolini e dentifricio confezionati separatamente permetterebbe agli ospiti di utilizzare solo ciò che serve, evitando sprechi inutili e contribuendo anche a una riduzione della produzione di rifiuti in plastica.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Le charme de cette vielle maison colonial vous fait faire un bon en arrière de 80ans avec ses meubles et décoration authentique. Un personnel au petit soin et amusant. Vraiment je recommande cela change des standards internationaux sans saveurs.
