Like they had there own restaurant ( the food was very good and the waiter was bery nice, did anything to accommodate) Simon was very helpful and very polite
Shower head could do with replacement. Slight leak on he toilet, we passed this on when leaving
Always good value and very comfortable stay
Busy road and lorries can be disturbing
Clean, worth for value, free parking. Very nice Indian restaurant, friendly staff.!
Bit away from City center, but still easy to reach by bus, vehicle in 10 mins.
The staff always helpful and friendly. Lovely large room with no noise from the road. Comfy bed and room and facilities very clean. I've stayed here before and will again.

The hotel was lovely and staff was very friendly
Very friendly, helpful hotel. Quiet room facing away from main road. Excellent Indian meal.
The location to Chester is good. I was greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who told me all i needed to know. I was given a family room and I only booked a double so my daughter was happy. The price was great as I booked last minute.
I did think the carpet needed to be cleaned. I felt like I didn’t want to take my shoes off. The people is the room next door were noisy banging the door as they left to walk their dog late at night. But that is not the hotels fault. The bathroom was a bit old but it did the job. There was a wet patch next to the single bed!
Amazing stay. super comfortable. large room and bathroom
The bed was clean and comfortable The staff were friendly
The rug next to the bed was stained The wall had mould The shower screen needed new seals as they were broken and mouldy We were only given one bath to when there were two of us
Alojamiento agradable, con parking en la puerta, restaurante en la parte de abajo. La casa es muy bonita además.
Nada en especial
The area and staff. Loved the Indian food.
Room noise.
We can bring our dog and it's a comfortable stay
It would be nice if they offered more than a continental breakfast and had a bit more to choose from but it was ok.
The ease of access to the restaurant; great friendly staff, comfortable bed.
the weather !
Had a downstairs room with a door to outside. The bed was comfortable and a large shower room. Onsite Indian restaurant.
The room next door was up all night being extremely loud and tv turned up ridiculously high. Not the hotels fault.
Great location friendly staff and people Jaime who runs hotel is very helpful and great to deal with
Nothing at all
The bedrooms were immaculate. Tables were laid out in the restaurant to accommodate our.party.of 8 even though we had taken advantage of the hotel policy and brought our own wine and we were not dining.there. Staff were.very friendly and helpful
Bedrooms were a little cramped.
The Indian food and the service was excellent
Stairs were a bit steep
The location lovely walk along canal room nice and clean
Room was small and very load with traffic on the road ony 1hand towel and 1 bath towel
its clean and nice
Room was clean
very small horrible slip mat in shower
Location was good, short walk to the canal to walk into the city.
When we arrived, although booking.com said we had paid in full and there was no other payment required, the hotel charged an extra £20 for the fact we had the dog, and there was no information on booking.com to say this would be the case. Booking.com made it clear we had paid and to report any extra charges, so a mediocre double room became £82 which I thought was expensive for the size and quality of facilities.
It was clean and excellent value for money
Easy check in . Good location. Comfortable beds
Kettle in room badly needed descaling. Faulty bedside lamp.

The property is good and the food was good.
Smoking container is right by the entrance to my room number 10. The doors bang in the corridor, when people go to the toilet and if they have a conversation in the corridor it can be loud. The food is expensive but very good
How it was accessable during the night and it's in a good location
10am check out is really early for a Sunday morning
Nice room.. it was just an overnight stay
The noise from the A road that my room faced in to (that would be why there were ear plugs provided no doubt)
Everything was good, especially the Indian restaurant 😋 close to all amenities
Out site area being maintained (building site)
Clean and quiet x
Clean room, decent size, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely soft beds, bath is great 👍, very clean, honestly it was a great hotel, and again the staff was very nice
The breakfast was disappointing, for £12 a person there really wasn't much, but the rest of the hotel was great
Cicha i spokojna okolica, można się wybrać na malowniczy spacer wzdłuż kanału
Very comfortable and a lovely room.
Wish I had known it had its own restaurant attached! Had already booked a table elsewhere and was disappointed as their food smelt amazing and I wish we had known so we could have eaten there!
Really clean Quiet Friendly staff Rooms really lovely and spacious
Nothing
Very good service , easy to access , good car parking , very clean and tidy , all staff where friendly
Traffic all night , which wasn't mentioned beforehand
A room at the back
This was a great stay! Room location was good with own private entrance leading to the carpark so easy access getting our luggage in and out. The staff were all super lovely and dinner was 10/10. Location was very close to getting into chester, may be a little tricky without a car as it’s on a main road. Defiantly worth the money and will be staying again!
Problem with some pipe from the bathroom leaking meaning the carpet and rug on top was soaked through from underneath outside the bathroom but we just stepped over it, also found quite a few slugs were coming in, I assume from the vents to outside but both not huge issues and has not put us off from staying again.
The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. I would have loved to try and curry from the curry house attached to the hotel, but sadly I got back too late. Something for next time
Nothing. Everything was great
Lovely Indian restaurant. The food was amazing. It made the stay worthwhile
Great Indian restaurant
Breakfast not much choice, expensive so didn’t bother
Great room, very friendly staff and perfect communication. The room was of an excellent standard. I particularly liked the private door to the outside.
Nothing it was much better than I expected.
Very pleasant and helpfull staff. Comfortable bed, clean room. Good food in restaurant. Good location.
No drawers in room, no bedside lamp on one side. Tea and coffee on bedside table, leaving little room for personal stuff.. Breakfast was very poor, not worth the cost. Bedroom carpet very uneven , rucked up in places.
lovely staff and a cosy, clean, and comfy room. after check out the staff let us keep our bags in a secure place while we spent our last day exploring chester.
we dont drive, so the location isnt great for getting into chester. it's a bit of a trek up a very narrow pavement along a busy road to the nearest bus stop, and the buses are like once an hour.
Functional bedroom with a door connecting to the parking lot, very convenient.
No windows, only the door to the outside so couldn’t get any air in during a warm night. Please note they charge 20 pounds if you bring a pet, which I found a bit steep considering I paid 44 pounds for the room, so almost half the price to have my dog with me.
We had a spacious room for 3 which was very clean with comfy beds. Bathroom adequate with towels & basic toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Nice dark blind, great for Summer early sun. We didn’t use the TV. Very friendly, helpful young man on reception who also helped me sort out an uber. Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing.
Authentic food with great choices for vegetarians. Tailored to specific spice/hest requests An all round great experience - hospitable staff, well priced and even better that you can take your own alcohol with no corkage!!. We will be back
Lovely little hotel ideal for a 1 night stopover with a little Indian restaurant. Guy very pleasant. Will use again.
Great value
Great location. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Ate out in the beer garden on a sunny evening.
Nothing. For the price it was fine.
The location was great. Facilities clean and comfortable and staff really helpful. It's my second stay there and i'll stay again.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
The room was so stuffy. We had our dogs with us, which we paid £20 extra and they were so hot . We had no windows at all in the room. It was stifling. The pillows smelt and there was mould in the bathroom. We did not use the shower preferred to wait to go home. We checked out a day early. When we aired our grievances we were offered the room next door...same room effectively or a second floor room. I am nearly 60 with hip issues. Breakfast was £12 for very basic continental. When we asked for refund for second night it was firmly refused . Really disappointed
We stopped here on our way from England to Wales. It was close to the road, perfect for us. There is a petrol station next door and a lovely Indian restaurant downstairs. It was quiet and comfortable.
Very clean well run
It was clean and convenient
Unable to open windows
Location.
Road noise and vibrations in front room when HGV passed which was very frequent all night long. Shower was very slippy with inadequate mat and had shower curtains which flapped onto you when showering. The room had a very overpowering synthetic smell coming from the carpet. Breakfast was limited.
Location good Food delicious Clean Friendly Recommended 💯
Road.the noisy
Convient for our needs. Plenty of car parking. Comfortable bed and clean linen and towels
No air con, but we are having unusually hot weather. Breakfast wasn't great, pastries were packaged type not fresh. Basic but ok
It was very hot during our stay and there was a fan in the room. The duvet was nice and lightweight and as our room had an external door, we could open it in the evening to cool the room down.
Location friendly staff room was 10/10 and great how it was set up
Nothing
The environment was great and neat
No
It was and comfortable, we stayed in the annex at the rear of the property .
Having a indian restaurant below us , and only having a vegetarian breakfast
Clean and comfortable
Need more towels
It was a cute little room, I loved how intentional the rooms were with the towel and tissue flower pattern decoration. The staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend for a budget stay 🤗❤️
Nothing
Van goed bed tot goed eten
De douche hygiëne.
Close to Chester location wise
Basic furnishings but served its purpose
We love staying here, staff are so friendly
Friendly staff, Clean rooms.. Very helpful on request if possible.. Restaurant is clean and food tasty.
AC would be recommended, in summer time.
Spotless clean. Lovely Indian restaurant next door.
Spotless clean. Comfy bed with good pillows. Fluffy white towels.
Nothing. It was lovely.
Great stay as always, very clean and lovely staff
Bit confused if the bar in the Indian restaurant side could be used for just having a beer, wine etc and taking outside into the big beer garden at the back, we didn't see anyone outside and assumed there was a bit of a refurbishment going on.
Great shower, bed good, spotless, fan left in room, free parking and excellent Indian restaurant underneath
A king bed just would have given it 10/10
We stayed in the back room as we know the front rooms can be noisy with the road. We had an Indian meal two nights and both were very flavoursome.
We realise that it is dog friendly and that is fine however when we are in the beer garden we don't appreciate owner's dogs doing their number twos in the same area. It was extremely unpleasant. We think that a separate area in the fast corner of the car park would be better for all. The shower faucet needs to be improved. The temperature was VERY difficult to regulate and a child could easily be scalded with how difficult it was to regulate the temperature.
Not much
The room was very small and extremely hot. I do appreciate it was a heatwave but the small fan we had been provided with was caked in black dust. Nobody had even bothered to wipe it down. It was so awful that we checked out before midnight and went home.
Location
Noisy road
It was located in countryside, close to the Chester park and ride. The rooms were spacious and ours was a triple room. The hotel was fully booked each night so we were lucky we had booked in advance. There was a big parking area and a beer garden
The hotel had recently changed hands and the new owners had a good Indian food menu, but beer suppliers had yet to be sorted and only one warm draft beer was available. Luckily the Cheshire Cat down the road a mile had everything!
Friendly staff, attractive decor, good wifi. Handy convenience store at the gas station next door.
We were there during a heat spell and our room was on the top floor so it was very warm and the provided fan was too small. We were also only given one bath towel and one mid size towel for the two of us. It was also in a very busy location on the side of a very busy road. The back garden was quite plain. I’m sure for people driving it would be good with plenty of free parking.
All their environments is very comfortable by me
No
Value for money
Slippery tub and bed matress too soft
Staff was very friendly room was ok but could be better but a good service
Servicepersonal, Sauberkeit, Essen, Zimmergröße, Frühstück
It was a nice, compact room that was clean and functional.
The shower was quite complicated to use
The room was clean, a lot of effort was put in to the finishings towels and toilet roll shaped in to shapes Access from outside meaning you didn’t have to go through the restaurant.
Zero hot water pressure, it could be described as a weep. The walls were paper thin, I could hear all conversations word for word in adjacent rooms. Tv in adjacent room was mounted on the wall behind the headboard. Had to ask at 2am for this to be turned off as we couldn’t sleep. Then at 3am the couple on the other room had a very loud argument, of which we heard every single word. For a rare night away without children I can honestly say it was the worst night sleep for a while
An excellent hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had a good night’s sleep. There is extensive car-parking and good wi-fi. It was also very good value for money. I shall rebook when I return to the area. {Looking at comments below, I would add the following. Yes it is now a restaurant but that closes at 10pm so you are not disturbed by late night noisy customers.}
I booked this place because it’s just down the road from the park & ride into Chester city centre. It looks like a nice country house hotel from the photos, but when you get there, it’s actually an Indian restaurant that has accommodation above. The hotel entrance is the restaurant entrance, with a small reception desk under the staircase. It’s right next door to a petrol station and the road it’s on is quite busy despite being a country road, as it’s a main route into Chester. The room we stayed in was quite spacious, but carpeted with very thin, cheap carpet and although the room appeared clean, everything seemed very basic and low-budget. Having said that, the staff were friendly and it’s in a convenient location if you’re getting the park & ride into Chester. Just don’t be fooled by the photos and description. This is not a hotel as we know it.
The location was ideal for my needs. Clean, comfortable bed. Lovely, helpful staff. Ample parking
I thought the price of the room was expensive, given how small it was. The hotel is next to a very busy road, the traffic noise didn't disturb me, what did disturb me was the noise from people walking up and down the stairs (maybe carpet would help). The bedroom doors could do with soft close features, hearing them bang everytime someone came in and out wasn't the best. Lastly the lack of water pressure, it dribbles out the tap and you can just about get a shower.
A personal door opening welcome! Thank you. Truly excellent food at restaurant! Well beyond all other aspects…
No investment. Minimal spend on making rooms good. Minimal
Easy to find. Clean , well presented. Lovely food in the restaurant
Nothing
Smallest room we have ever seen for a couple plus dog. Absolutely no storage, no window, tiny bathroom, dirty shower, road noise, breakfast was worse ever. None of the facilities or services available as per website and Bookgings.com. Staff "training " but supervisors not evident. Rating on website obviously based on previous owners and facilities. MUST BE UPDATED IMMEDIATELY, FALSE ADVERTISING
The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The manager (Simon) and the cleaner Rachel have gone above and beyond.
Nothing
The room was lovely in itself. It was spacious and had all the condiments needed. The view was beautiful as we could see the grounds and the horses and other wildlife. There was also a wide variety of tv to enjoy on a nice big screen seeing as the weather had let us down for the evening
After previously staying here earlier in the year and enjoying the hotels gastro pub experience we we're disappointed to see that it has now changed hands and is an Indian restaurant which meant the we had to go off site to eat both evening meal and for breakfast the next morning. This was disappointing as it is still advertised as the previous property which it is not The bathroom could also have been cleaner as the bath was all marked and the shower screen had a broken unattached seal which was filled with dirt and the toilet didn't flush properly
Staff was amazing, food was nice, defo will be staying again
Internet was abit poor
