Stayed for 4 nights. Good room, great staff, convenient place in the city.

Air conditioning filters have never been cleaned before. Happy hour means 1 hour in the evening you can come to the lobby to make yourself a drink from some placed bottles on the counter, so you will be making them yourself (we knew how to make cocktails so not bad)😀 Shower as in all places in Japan has lower ceiling (FYI for tall people). Breakfast is very minimal. If you are used to European hotels then this will be very limited. Cold scrambled eggs if lucky (7:30am even). It’s nice to have breakfast in the morning but don’t expect a lot to select from.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno in questo hotel, a partire dalla posizione, comoda per visitare Kyoto. I servizi offerti sono stati ottimi e il personale si è sempre dimostrato gentile, disponibile e attento alle nostre esigenze. Abbiamo particolarmente gradito anche la colazione, varia e ben organizzata, in grado di soddisfare le esigenze e i gusti di tutti. Nel complesso, è stata un’esperienza molto positiva e consigliamo vivamente questo hotel a chi desidera soggiornare a Kyoto.

Le petit déjeuner médiocre

Praticamente tutto. La posizione, a 15 minuti dalla stazione di Kyoto. Colazione a buffet molto buona e varia. La stanza ben dimensionata e pulita. Molto apprezzato l'open bar / Happy hour offerto ogni giorno che ci ha permesso di rinfrescarci dopo le nostre giornate.

Il solito appunto sulla dimensione del bagno. Vale ovviamente per tutti gli hotel giapponesi.

Great location (close both to the train station as well as to shopping district). Decent breakfast. Fairly sized rooms (for Japanese standards).

The main area downstairs is really nice, you can use the tables, microwave, hot drinks and soft drinks all day for free. The one hour happy hour is a nice touch! The staff were always friendly. Aircon is good!

We found the pillows really hard. There is a charge if you wanted extra towels, we found this a bit odd especially as they would only clean our room once during a 5 day stay. For the standard this hotel gives, it was unexpected. 1000¥ seems a bit steep.

L’hôtel est bien situé par rapport à la gare. La chambre est de bonne dimension. La salle de bain est fonctionnelle avec une petite baignoire bien agréable pour prendre un bain après une journée de marche. La Clim est parfaite et silencieuse.

Les deux machines à laver ne sont pas faciles d’accès vu le nombre de clients. Le petit- déjeuner ne m’a pas convaincu. L’happy hour est un flop, les clients boivent entre eux sans se mélanger

京都なので朝食に白ご飯、漬物などの和食的なものも欲しかった。

The location is good. Not really the centre but not far for the centre. But. In a walking distance there are Kyoto station, malls, including Yodobashi (were I've bought the medicines, sphygmomanometer, wipes and etc). The bus station is in 1 min to walk, buses drop you to the "must visit" places withing 5-15 min. Regarding the hotel: the staff is wonderful, speak fluent English. Special thanks to the hotel managenent for free drinking water and tea/coffee 24/7 at the lobby. Breakfast was good for that price we've paid. The size of the room is ok, compearing to hotels rooms in Tokyo ))

Отель расположен в тихом районе, напротив есть очень красивый сад, так же в пешей доступности храм Higashi Hongan-ji. От станции Киото пешком идти где-то 12-15 минут. Цена соответствует качеству

Hjælpsomt personale. God beliggenhed i forhold til Kyoto station. Rent og pænt. Superfed bonus at der var en times happy hour hver dag.

Lå ud til en ret kedelig vej. Ingen convenience stores i nærheden .

Está muy bien ubicado, tiene estaciones del metro cerca, supermercados y tiendas de conveniencia, además de estar frente a un jardin muy lindo (Jardín Shoseien). Un buen lugar para hospedarse.

De ligging, vriendelijk personeel en de verrassing van water, frisdrank en koffie/thee gratis met een happy hour per kamer voor bier en wijn inbegrepen. Goed ontbijt.

De vieze lucht bij de ingang van het hotel. Maar verder in het hotel is het prima.

Sauberes und gut gelegenes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Gegend war ganz schön, fußläufig zum Bahnhof, Gion-Viertel erreichbar. Zimmer sind recht komfortabel. Das Frühstück war ok. Kostenfreie Getränke wie Kaffee, Tee und Softgetränke den ganzen Tag. Abends konnte man auch eine Stunde Happy Hour in Anspruch nehmen.

Einig Platz für Koffer, kein Schrank. Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer ohne Aussicht, also mit einer Hauswand vor dem Fenster, aber in Kyoto ist man auch wenig im Hotel.

Grumpy staffs, most of the front desk (mostly non Japanese) are very grumpy and they do not greet like Japanese.

Bon emplacement, personnels serviables, petit déjeuner top. Les salle de bains sont top, belle baignoire qui remplace le manque de bains chaud public dans l'hôtel

Hotel czysty kameralny, cichy. 10 minut piechotą od stacji kolejowej. Napoje w lobby w cenie pobytu do 24. Blisko zamku Nijo (taxi). Pomocny personel. Pralnia, lobby dostępne nawet z własnym jedzeniem lub napojami. Obsługa proponuje darmowe happy hour na alkohol (1 godzina bar open w godzinach 13-21 bez dodatkowych opłat - nie korzystałem ale po innych klientach widać było że opcja ok). Śniadania ok ale mały wybór.

Tylko dwie pralko-suszarki - więc rano i wieczorem trzeba czekać.

Bien situé par rapport à la gare. Calme. Temple bouddhiste et jardin magnifique dans la même rue. Chambre spacieuse et très propre. Boissons à disposition très appréciables. Excellent petit déjeuner Personnel agréable.

I will suggest to monitor the smell at the outside of holte main entrance door. Its leave a very bad impression on a guess just before entering when they have smell something very bad.

Die Zimmer sind zwar klein (wie vermutlich überall in Japan), aber sauber. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren freundlich. Man konnte sich auch tagsüber immer Kaffee holen.

Das Frühstück entsprach eher europäischen Standards, mir hat da etwas Pepp und das Japanische gefehlt. Der Frühstücksbereich war nicht sonderlich gemütlich und einladend, aber ganz ok. Leider hat der Trockner nicht funktioniert. Ich musste ein zweites Mal Münzen einwerfen, was es leider nicht besser gemacht hat. Ich musste meine gesamte Wäsche in dem kleinen Zimmer verteilen, um sie zu trocknen. Hier war das Personal nicht sonderlich bemüht, mir eine andere Lösung zu bieten.

Two good not easy to move another place

L'emplacement, le personnel, le petit déjeuner, l'hygiène. Il n'y a rien à dire sur cet hôtel. Je conseille vivement d'y séjourner.

早餐還不錯，以西式為主，每3日更換部分菜色。每日16:00~21:00，有1小時酒類暢飲

房間隔間不是水泥，隔音效果未知。我5日的住宿目前沒啥問題

Konumu Kyoto station a yakın bir konumda merkeze biraz daha yürümek gerekiyor. Ama kyoto sokakları diğer şehirlere göre sakin olduğu için yürümek keyifli. Otel imkanlarını beğendik, sağladıkları kitlerde iyiydi. İlaveten otel içinde sigara içme alanı olması ve her gün belirli saatlerde happy hour adı altında alkol ikramları olması hoşumuza gitti. Çalışanları çok ilgiliydi , birçok konuda fikir danışabilirsiniz. İngilizce iletişim rahat sağlanıyor.

Kompleks bir otel değil. Daha vintage bir tarzı var. Zevk meselesi tamamen tabi.

La struttura è ben messa, e la camera dalle classiche dimensioni giapponesi, offre un buon kit di benvenuto. L’hotel si trova vicino alla fermata del pullman con il quale puoi raggiungere i maggiori punti di interesse

La struttura offre il servizio di pulizia gratuito una volta ogni 3 notti di soggiorno. Al momento del check-in ti chiedono se vuoi pulizie extra e il costo eventuale aggiuntivo del cambio degli asciugamani che non viene effettuato ogni giorno. Nei giorni in cui non è compresa la pulizia, la camera non viene proprio toccata. Mi aspettavo quanto meno che rifacessero il letto (senza cambio lenzuola).

Hotel IL Verdo was a lovely place to stay the rooms were quite large for a Japanese Hotel the staff were friendly the beds were really comfortable. Location was an easy 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station & it was very quiet so a bonus. The Shoisen en Gardens are right across the road from the Hotel a must to see. A quick walk you will find some gorgeous little Japanese shops & the Buddhist Temple which had handmade markets out the front. We really enjoyed out stay & dont forget the free 1 hour of drinks!!!!

not many restaurants near by the Hotel but keep walking head to the Tower & you will find the amazing food court

Das Bett war super bequem und nachts angenehm ruhig um mit dem offenen Fenster zu schlafen.

Lage ist recht zentral. Jedoch muss man dennoch vom Hbf. Kyoto laufen. Leider gibt in der Umgebung keine Kombinis. Frühstück ist ausreichend um satt zu werden. Man sollte aber nicht zu viel erwarten.

We booked the room for 4 people because we wanted a larger space. It was comfortable and clean. It is not so close to the city center, but we took buses (10min ride) and also walked once (about 30min). I liked this hotel and recommend it if you want to be in a quieter part of the city. Thanks!

Professional hotel within walking distance from the Kyoto station. Staff is fluent in English and check-in/out processes worked great. We also enjoyed the Happy Hour service that was included in price. The room itself was pretty normal hotel room, but the shower and toilet area was very spacious in Japanese standards.

Only 2 laundry machines that also did drying instead of separate dryers, so we had to wait to do our laundry.

Good location, close to kyoto station. Walking distance to shops, cafe and restaurant.

I hope that the hotel staff can be more welcoming and a bit more smile

Repeat visit to Hotel Il Verde, didn't disappoint. the complimentary Happy Hour at the end of the day is a great opportinity to rest, regroup before going out in the evening. Being on main bus route back to Kyoto Station is a benefit.

Great location, excellent breakfast and fantastic happy hour. Love that the room is stocked with toiletries too.

Rooms are small but as expected for most hotels in Japan cities

Hotelli sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä viereiseltä Shichijō asemalta. Bussipysäkki on melkein hotellin oven edessä toisella puolella tietä. Hotelli tarjoaa yhden tunnin mittaisen happy hourin kaikille asiakkailleen. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja palvelualtista.

Lähin kauppa on hieman kauempana, mutta tämä ei toki ole hotellin vika.

Just a quick heads-up for future travelers: the mandatory Kyoto accommodation tax is charged per person rather than per room, so we paid for three people separately. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay!"

Meckern auf hohem Niveau 🙈 Das Personal hat schlecht englisch gesprochen. Kofferservice wurde nicht angeboten. Föhn war nicht im Zimmer.

The room was small but functional with a nice view. The bed was comfortable and all the amenities were in good shape. The breakfast was included and totally acceptable, also endless tea was great. We didn't make use of the happy hour for drinks but it's a nice to have. The hotel is right between a beautiful park and a small river, it was great to walk around! Overall a great experience and the price was unbeatable.

Hairs in the bathroom corners and on some towels. In understand this is something that happens everywhere but I really don't like it.
