Todo el personal es muy amable, un hotel muy bonito y limpio. La ubicacion es centrica y puedes moverte con facilidad a cualquier sitio.

Wunderbare Unterkunft, die bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker (auf keinen Fall verpassen). Noch dazu zu einem guten Zweck!!!

Un hotel con mucho calor humano, siendo muy competitivo en prestación e instalaciones. Las habitaciones nos amplias y tienen un mobiliario practico y adecuado. Me gusto tanto que regresaré pronto!

Lamentablemente no ofrece estacinamiento, pero en la zona hay estacionamientos públicos.

In downtown / el centro but not in the most bustling location. Close enough to walk all over downtown. Staff is very helpful in all regards. If noise bothers you, they offer earplugs but it really turns into white noise. Also, booking here contributes to the community more than a lot of other places so don’t hesitate. It is worth it.

Abbiamo adorato tutto di questa struttura. La posizione è ottima: appena fuori dal centro, ma raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi, quindi perfetta per godersi Oaxaca senza essere nel pieno della confusione. Le camere sono semplici ma molto carine, curate e della dimensione giusta, e il personale è adorabile, sempre disponibile e davvero gentile. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo anche la mission dell’hotel, che devolve parte dei profitti a progetti di sviluppo locale, un’iniziativa che rende il soggiorno ancora più significativo. Abbiamo inoltre partecipato alla cooking class del giovedì, che è stata un’esperienza divertente, interessante e assolutamente consigliata.

Un suggerimento, più che una critica: una mattina dovevamo partire presto per un’escursione e avevamo chiesto se fosse possibile avere la colazione da portare via. Al momento questo servizio non viene offerto. Nessun problema, abbiamo mangiato qualcosa al volo prima di partire, ma considerando che le escursioni sono probabilmente un’attività frequente per gli ospiti, potrebbe essere un sevizio da aggiungere su richiesta. In generale comunque davvero un’esperienza bellissima e una struttura che consiglieremmo senza esitazione!

Delicioso el desayuno, diferente todos los días, siempre vegetariano. Se nota que trabajan con ingredientes locales y de temporada. Siempre nos dieron pan, mermelada, mantequilla, y una taza de café generosa. En recepción siempre fueron muy amables para recibirnos, incluso nos ayudaron a contactar un taxi para volver al aeropuerto. La atención de todas las chicas en la cocina y el comedor es impecable. En general, nos tocaron días tranquilos, poco ruido de la calle y de la casa de al lado. En el baño hay champú, gel de baño y acondicionador.Tanto la habitación como el baño son muy cómodos. Nos gustó saber que tienen un enfoque social de educación para niños y jóvenes locales.

Se nos olvidó mencionarles directamente que la puerta del baño sonaba al abrir y cerrar, nada grave, pero se puede mejorar. El ventilador también sonaba un poquito, no lo usamos mucho, pero tal vez también puedan revisarlo.

Sviđa mi se što hotel ulaže u školovanje djece, svidjela mi se atmosfera u hotelu te cjelokupni ambijent, hotel je prekrasan sa puno zelenila. Svidjelo mi se što je u hotelu dostupna filtrirana voda za upotrebu. Svidjeli su mi se i ljudi koji tamo rade, svi su bili jako uslužni i simpatični. Doručak je bio iznimno ukusan, svaki dan započinje sa svježim voćem, žitaricama i jogurtom, te nakon toga slijedi drugo jelo. Iako smo dobili čepiće za uši za spavanje uopće nam nisu trebali, spavali smo kao bebe.

Jedino što mi je nedostajalo je bilo meso ili salama u doručku, doručak je u potpunosti vegetarijanski. Trebalo bi to bolje označiti u opisu hotela.

Bellissimo progetto sociale abbinato ad un'attenzione ai dettagli notevoli. Soggiornare qui è stato speciale, dal servizio, alla colazione sino alle camera. Tornassi a Oaxaca sceglierei a occhi chiusi di nuovo questa soluzione.

Het ontbijt was buitengewoon goed, niet te vergelijken met andere plekken waar we ooit zijn geweest. En waar het hotel voor staat steunt de maatschappij, prachtig initiatief.

De douche had maar 1 minuut warm water. Het was erg gehorig.

Het vriendelijke personeel, achter de simpele facade zit een mooi hotel met veel open ruimtes en mooie doorkijkjes. Het idee dat een groot gedeelte van de opbrengst van het hotel naar educatie gaat, sprak ons zeer aan. Wist niet dat het hotel opgericht was door Nederlanders. Interim manager is Nederlands en erg vriendelijk. Keuken personeel erg aardig met goede tips waar je goede ingrediënten kunt vinden. Hotel ligt dicht bij alle bezienswaardigheden van de stad. Kamer (no. 7) is ruim en mooi ingericht.

The hotel is perfectly located just outside the city center (it's less than a 10 minute walk to the main square) making it very quiet. Everything looked like new and extremely clean and neat. The staff is amazing and very helpful in providing guidance and organization for day trips or transport to and from the city. Breakfast is different every day but always delicious and fresh, letting you try a different local delicacy each morning. Would come back for sure!

We discovered Hotel con Corazon via Tripadvisor reviews and knew that this was where we wanted to stay. Not only is the small, boutique hotel architecturally interesting and environmentally conscious, but it is mission based. Indeed, it IS a hotel with heart with 70-80% of their profits going to educate children in Oaxaca. The whole place felt......soothing! I loved the painted ceilings in our large, understated and comfortable hotel room and the lovely tile in the big shower in the bathroom. However, I was a little worried about slipping in the shower as there is no bar and the tile is smooth. Perhaps the owners/managers will come up with a way of reducing the chances of that happening to anyone (because sooner or later someone will probably slip and fall :-( (This was my only complaint.) Nonetheless, there are light filled terraces and patios that open to the sky --one that is even built around a large tree, if you want to sit and read or just rest after a long day. The sunny dining area is clean and open and the breakfasts are a gastronomical experience! You can help yourself to cold drinks, beer and wine, from a large refrigerator next to the kitchen using an honor system --sign up sheet. The staff is helpful and friendly (and very, very patient). Though taxis are easily available, the walk to the city center, to shops, restaurants, art galleries, churches is only 15 minutes by foot. We really, really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel and think you might, too.

Aptly named, Hotel con Corazon provides a comfortable stay with the knowledge that your payment is going towards something good. They were exceedingly helpful with my reservation and accommodating when a natural disaster on my home island meant that I had to push travel back. The location is great: close enough to walk to almost anything you want to do in Oaxaca, but far enough out of the Center to add a sense of calm. All the staff are friendly and helpful. And the breakfast! Absolutely fantastic.

location , a little far from the zocalo and center of the city but if you can walk 15 min its ok. atmosphere , great , really smooth and calm rooms , clean and big , at least the one i reserved value , its a little high considerating certain thing service its great if you ask me about the cookers and cleaning staff ... but the main desk staff.... well if you are from another country like USA o europe its ok. because if you are from yor own country ... lets justa say ,... not so good. Amenities, in you are from another place thats not your country like mexico .. sure there a lot at high prices .. but if you are from mexico .. they would not even tell you about it. if you are hungry thell give directions on how to get to public mercados or as one of the front desk girls told me.... you can go to the supermarket and buy something to eat there.

Wonderful hotel. All facilities were good, super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a social impact side too which is nice when you're trying to responsibly visit places that run the risk of gentrification. And breakfasts were so creative and fab!

A TV would have been nice but nothing beyond that!

Great atmosphere, we felt at home

This hotel has a unique communnity vibe that comes from its non-profit mission. The breakfast service was very carefully prepared. The staff was professional and friendly. I enjoyed getting to know other guests. The location was close to the center and felt very safe. The room I selected was small but comfortable, though other rooms are large. I encourage guests to learn about the mission of Hotel con Corazón.

Enjoyed a cooking experience here as part.of a group tour. A fantastic afternoon, first shopping in the local market for fresh ingredients and then learning how to prepare a wonderful three course meal. The staff were so welcoming and ensured that everyone in the group was fully involved in all aspects of the day. And of.course. a delicious meal at the end! The highlight.if my trip so far and highly recommended.

Great visit to the market for the ingredients where questions were answered regarding what was on sale. We had just the right number of people to fit around the kitchen counter for the preparation of the dishes. We made a special mole from scratch, a shrimp cocktail that was so fresh and colourful and cocadas for dessert. Good clear explanations, lots of hands on, and the food came out delish! Thoroughly recommended!

Leider etwas hellhörig, auch nachts laut aufgrund des Verkehrslärms. Die Zimmertüren gehen alle direkt nach draußen und sind nicht isoliert o. Ä., dadurch hört man den Verkehr von der Straße leider etwas zu gut.

Excelente ubicación en una zona tranquila y cerca del centro histórico de la ciudad, lo que permite acceder a las principales atracciones turísticas caminando. El desayuno muy bueno con una impronta de la cocina mexicana. Wifi de buena señal con algunas intermitencias. El personal súper amable y servicial con positiva predisposición para solucionar problemas.

La habitación extremadamente pequeña y poco funcional. En el baño había una mampara fija de vidrio que dividía la ducha por lo que siempre salpicaba el resto del recinto. Para acceder al perchero había que subirse a la cama. Todo muy incómodo. La relación calidad-precio es regular.

Ik zou Hotel Corazon aan iedereen aanraden. Wat een fantastisch hotel! Het ontbijt en de service waren voortreffelijk. Hens en Saskia zijn ontzettend fijne mensen en dat straalt door naar het hele team. De warme en gastvrije sfeer maakte het verblijf compleet. Absoluut een aanrader!

La ubicación. Esta a 15 minutos del zócalo, pero el camino de noche era un poco inseguro y debía tomar taxi. Es justo en la otra dirección del resto de atracciones turísticas. Espero que el barrio mejore 🙏

La comida es riquisima, la atención es muy buena, la limpieza excelente y tiene muy buena ubicacion caminando a unos 10 min te queda el centro. Y la labor social que hacen es increible.

The staff was very helpful, the food was amazing!! We really loved our little room and the extra bonus of having a outside hang area next to it. The whole environment was lovely and the most special of all is the fact that they work with local youth. Win win!

Unfortunately I am a pretty light sleeper and even sleeping with earplugs the morning traffic was pretty loud. That being said our friends stayed in a room on the ground floor and did not have that experience, so just depends on the location of your room.

Lovely staff and the good will behind this hotel whose profits are used to support economically challenged people to study and create are is quite amazing. Delicious nicely presented breakfasts.

Location is slightly out of town but still walking distance. The botel contacted us by WhatsApp the day before arrival and informed us there is sufficient street parking options around. Maybe we were unlucky but there was no place to find and the paid public parking was full the first night. It took a long time to find a spot and thats not fun after already a long day driving.. Especially after receiving info there would be no issues. The morning we were leaving we needed the car around 7am and, because the paid public parking only opens at 8am we parked on the street. This went well the second day but we didn't feel 100% safe, maybe unjustified. The room is very noisy and basic, we heard trucks all night and both our nights the person staying above us decided to have long loud phone calls at 3am. Only after knocking on her door she stopped. Not sure if the hotel is to blame for this but it is designed in such a way that the bathrooms are " open " to the ones up and hence very noisy. We did like the games in the common room, we did leave after two days of lack of sleep instead the planned three and definitely not return here.

O hotel é super bonito. O quarto era ótimo, muito confortável. O café da manhã realmente é o destaque. O hotel não fica no centrinho, mas pela avenida principal você chega fácil. É bem seguro.

Pessoal da cozinha fazia preparos e arrumava cozinha a noite. Então sempre tinha barulho até depois das 23h. E você ouve barulho de outros quartos também.

This was a lovely boutique hotel. The staff could not have been nicer. The free breakfast was amazing with yoghurt, fruit, juice, tea, coffee and a different cooked breakfast every day. There was a fridge with beer and wine that we had access to at all times, and just wrote down what we took. Fresh water was available on every floor.

Our twin beds were a bit too hard. But a friend in another room said her bed was lovely.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit schönem Innenhof und Terrasse. Das vegetarische Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Es gibt Trinkwasser umsonst, einen Self-Service-Kühlschrank mit guter Getränkeauswahl und eine Wäsche-Service. Das Hotel engagiert sich sozial. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Stimmung im Hotel passt zum sozialen Engagement.

Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, die Badezimmer der Nachbarn können gehört werden. Vom Hotel liegen aber bereits Ohrstöpsel bereit.

We stayed in the King Room with private patio. Room was a good size and the private patio was a welcome retreat after a day exploring the city

合計3泊し、空室の関係で1,2泊目と3泊目は異なる部屋を取ったが、最初の部屋がとても寒かった。朝方とても冷え込むので、ブランケットを2枚被って寝たがそれでもかなり寒く感じた。3泊目は部屋が暖かく、1枚でも問題なかった。

The Hotel was lovely. We stayed the whole week and had a great time. It's located very very close to the city center but slightly on the outside of it which allows for less noise at night. The breakfast was excellent, fresh and different every morning while incorporating delicious ingredients from the Oaxaca region. Overall, great experience. Our room was spacious and very comfortable as well.

Very pricy for what it is

The breakfast was great, and the cleaning service too! The room was super nice and we actually got upgraded to a nicer room for free. We also got to see some of the kids the profits are going to too, which was great :)

We only got about 5 minutes of hot water every night before it got cold.

This hotel is a gem! The staff was super nice, everything was super clean, the bed and mattress are very comfy, all materials are of great quality, and on top, you get a fantastic breakfast. The design is amazing as well - fitting everything necessary in a small space. In addition to their humanitarian mission, this boutique hotel is one of the best I ever stayed in and I highly recommend it!

Great location a short walk to town. Very safe with a police station next door. Enough restaurants in the area but most high quality restaurants are in town. Rooms are small but functional. Bed was extra firm but pillows were flimsy. Some guests ( including us) had hot water issues but they responded with a spare room we could shower in until the hot water heater was fixed. Breakfast was fantastic. Service was friendly and warm. Overall a solid choice especially if this is your first visit to Oaxaca.

• Frühstück lecker, aber eher klein portioniert • Viele enge Treppen im Hotel und bereits im Eingangsbereich – mit Kinderwagen oder Gepäck etwas umständlich • Zimmer sind recht hellhörig, Geräusche von Nachbarn und Wasser sind gut hörbar

Es war bis auf 2 kleine Einschränkungen alles Perfekt. Gutes Bett, reichlich Kissen, angenehme Größe des Zimmer, großes sauberes, modernes Badezimmer, ausreichende Haken um Kleidungsstück aufzuhängen, gutes Frühstück, gute Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden, nettes Personal, gratis Trinkwasser. Ich würde immer wieder dort Übernachten.

Wie in modernen Hotelbadezimmer mittlerweile üblich, ist der Zugang zur Dusche nur noch zur Hälfte mit einer Glasfront versehen und kann nicht komplett geschlossen werden, wenn man duschen will. Da landet dann leider ab und an doch der ein oder andere Wasserspritzer außerhalb der Dusche und macht den Badezimmerboden mehr nass als einem lieb ist. Das Zimmer ist durch seine Bauart recht kühl von den Temperaturen. Es sind alles akzeptable Einschränkungen und führen nicht zum Punktabzug.

Staff are so lovely, everywhere is spotless, breakfast is fantastic, ideal location in the city. Would recommend for a short stay. Would probably choose a room not on ground floor like we had.

Really nice hotel, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. It's just on the outskirts of the historic city centre, but felt totally safe and led me to try some of the less busy restaurants and cafes on the edge of the town.

I liked everything,but one suggestion would be to have a blackout curtain for the window!

Great atmosphere & very friendly staff. The hotel looks very nice as well.

The location is not bad but there are nicer areas to stay in Oaxaca. It is also on a busy road which gives some noise. There is very little water coming out of the shower and it was not warm but i think this is maybe a problem from the area. The price of the room is really quite steep for the value you get.

Very good vibes, the staff were celebrating one of their birthdays over lunch when I arrived. The rooms were beautifully decorated and super clean. Breakfast was delicious each morning. The bed was firm, which I like. Just a short 10-25 walk to the center, markets, shops and restaurants. I recommend Taniperla a few mins walk. Also really appreciate reinvestment in the local community.

It is essential and absolutely imperative that the transmission of sounds and noises from the bathroom located above Room 8 be addressed and fixed. Absolutely everything can be heard, from a simple sneeze to very intimate bathroom noises. It is impossible to feel comfortable when it sounds as if the person upstairs is inside the same room (in which you are supposed to be resting in). In a hotel, this situation is simply unacceptable and must be corrected. Aside from this issue, everything else was excellent: the hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff is very kind and attentive. However, resolving the sound insulation between rooms is indispensable.

Tolles modernes Zimmer mit großem Bad, sehr sauber, bequemes Bett, viele Ablagemöglichkeiten. Es wird Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt (zB Wasserspender), Freundliches Personal. Besonders der Kochkurs hat viel Spaß gemacht :) Würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Unfortunately we had booked here without knowing there was a festival outside the nearby church and the noise was very loud until late. Ear plugs were provided but if we had known about the festival noise we wouldn't have booked. It's probably not bad in every room..as rooms are on different levels.. Réception check in and check out not so warm and friendly either.

The hotel is very charming and serves an amazing breakfast. The staff is super warm and welcoming, the beds are very good, and the toiletry are of great quality. It was one of the best bathrooms I've been during my trip in Mexico.

There was nothing I didn't like in this stay. maybe the pillows were not as good as they could be (compared to other hotels I've been).
