Superb stay.Lovely room.Huw was great host.Location close to beach and town great.Breakfast was great.Always good to have a small fridge.

Minor points.We were on top floor so stairs a little issue.No view from our room no 6.Parking could be an issue in the peak season.

Fabulous breakfast. Very friendly owner. Within a few minutes walk of a 24 hour public car park.

Room was a bit small, but acceptable.

Quiet Location near the beach and parking. Easy 5-10 minute walk to centre of town. Fridge with water, milk and chocolate bars. Coffee pod machine also kettle for tea and hot chocolate mix.

Queen size bed, I read the information as a king/double bed. Stairs to rooms, no elevator, could ask for help with luggage.

Breakfast was excellent, lovely fresh fruit, cereal , and cooked, with a choice of daily special. Bedroom was comfortable and had all you needed. Location was great just a short walk to beach and town centre.

Sink and shower was a little small for my liking. Sometimes a little noisy with window open.

The owner cooked an amazing breakfast and was helpful and really pleasant. It was a home from home. The extra little touches in the room like fresh milk, bottled water, a mini fridge, a large fan and hair dryer were much appreciated

The breakfast was cooked to order so hot and well cooked, full welsh breakfast each day and different specials. Cereal toast and croissants were also available to help yourself to.

Bed was very comfy. Room was clean and well ventilated. We were really appreciative to have a fridge and tower fan. The breakfast selection was lovely and overall it was a great place to stay. Huw and housekeeper Nikki were great. Couldn't be a better location for the beach, parking etc. Huw also helped us out massively when our key broke!!

Shower head too big for the small cubicle although there was a wand as well. Mostly mentioning it for those who don't want to get their hair wet as it does drip a bit.

Fantastic breakfast, Huw went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great breakfast. Huw was friendly and welcoming. The B&B was only a 5 minute walk from the esplanade overlooking the beach and only a 10 minute walk into town. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back!

Our 4 night stay at the Townhouse greatly exceeded our expectations. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond to make sure the guests felt welcome and enjoyed their stay. The sea view from room 5 was outstanding and we will miss being able to experience that every morning. The breakfasts were of the highest quality and well surpassed anything I've eaten staying at a guest house. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Loved the attention Huw pays to all his guests. At breakfast nothing was too much trouble the selection of freshly cut up fruit was lovely. Room was spotless on arrival there was water and fresh milk in the fridge along with some kitkats which we thought was a lovely touch

Pillows were a bit soft but I appreciate this is personal choice. Our room was only partially serviced one day and not all the towels were replaced. Hand towels are too small couldn’t wrap my hair up after a shower.

Shower head holder malfunctioning. Bit of a dilemma as they are small showers. The host is aware and is replacing showers one by one.

Breakfast was truly exceptional. Room was spacious and mini-fridge very helpful. Location was fantastic as a few doors down from 2 mile long south beach for both walking and access to Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Town centre 5-10 minutes walk for shops and restaurants. North beach about 15 minutes walk.

I had moved from AirBnB with no outdoor noise at all, so light traffic was noticeable when sleeping. Other features of accommodation were exceptional though so I would definitely stay here again.

The saffron, rooms were large and airy. Breakfast was to die for, great produce and choice.

Fantastic host, breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and plentiful. Room was spacious and spotless. The Cleaning lady was lovely and very helpful if you wanted anything. Bed very comfortable and we had a sea view from one window.

Nothing to dislike but personally I would have liked a power shower but it was hot enough and perfectly adequate. The pesky seagulls woke you up early but it does remind you that you’re at a very beautiful coastal resort.

A couple of mornings, cleaning materials were left on the breakfast tables. Although the staff was informed, virtually empty condiment bottles were left on the condiment cart several days instead of being replaced.

Huw was a fantastic host! Perfectly positioned close to everything you need. The accommodation itself was clean & welcoming, extremely comfortable beds & our room was very well equipped with all we could possibly of needed. Breakfast was absolutely 10/10, delicious!!!! Would most definitely recommend & would rebook without hesitation. Thank you Huw for a lovely couple of nights xx

Location and service

We really enjoyed our stay at The Townhouse, it’s just a few metres from the seafront and a five minute walk to the walled town area and restaurants. There is no parking provided but we did manage to find on street parking very nearby. Hugh the proprietor was extremely friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, lots of choices to suit all tastes and quality ingredients. We had a small double room with a 4ft 6” bed which was comfortable and perfectly adequate, although a little smaller than we are used to. It was quiet by night so we got a good nights sleep. There was a fridge(so useful) with fresh milk, biscuits and bottled water. There was also a good supply of tea, coffee & a coffee pod machine. The bathroom although not large was well laid out and was easy to move around. We had fresh towels when needed and plenty of hot water. Our 3 night stay was very enjoyable and we’d definitely choose to stay there again if we have a chance to return.

Perfect location for exploring Tenby. Huw was the perfect host, nothing was too much for him. He instantly made me feel welcome and the room was lovely and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean.

Can’t think of anything negative - but if I was being picky, some renovation work on the hallway and bedroom walls and new carpets for the stairs and bedroom would enhance it even better - but this didn’t distract from my stay at all.

Fantastic stay. Selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate refreshments in the room. Along with complimentary medium sized bottled milk, kit kats and bottled water in the room fridge. Huw (owner) was lovely. Lots of breakfast choices, from fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice,. Also available, freshly cooked breakfast which was delicious. Overall an excellent stay.

Room 4 - shower pressure was low. (althouth, we haven't marked our stay down as everything else was great)

The room was very clean with lovely decor, coffee machine plus heap filter kettle with lots of tea milks auger and additional instant coffee, fresh milk in the fridge along with kitkat biscuits and bottles of water. A lovely touch to a very pleasent stay. Host put on a superb breakfast with lots of choice from fresh fruit to a few cooked options, and it didn’t disappoint stunning food. Would highly recommend and will most definitely stay again as location was perfect, a short stroll into the town and right on the beach. Parking available in the carpark behind accommodation which for 24 hours cost £10 or £20 for 48 hours which again I thought was great value.

Lovely room and being very picky, toilet holder on the wall wasn’t able to hold toilet roll, other really petty niggle, we could hear the people in the next room to us snoring. But that’s not the fault of the B&B.

Great host, perfect breakfast choice. Lovely large walk in rain forest shower. Right next to beach with limited free parking outside, but a large car park at the rear of the hotel if needed.

Location is ideal. A lovely small property and made to feel like an individual and not just a paying customer.

There are areas of the room which are starting to look a bit tired and worn. I was quite chilly at times especially in the bathroom but the heating was timed and only came on once in the morning just prior to breakfast and a little in the evening. The TV size was far too small for the wall on which it was located.

Huw the host was friendly and welcoming and our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean, we were in room 4 and the bay window off to the side in the main bedroom has a sea view and there was a separate living area with sofa chairs which turn into single beds and a further tv. Also as an old property there are many period features and high ceilings so although it is centrally heated each room had a further electric radiator should it be required in the winter and fans for the summer. Even though you are not immediately overlooking the sea the location is ideal and metres from the beaches, shops and town centre. Breakfast was excellent quality and service couldn't be faulted. There was also plenty to choose from fresh fruit juices and milk, fruit, yoghurt and cereals to full welsh breakfast and everything in between.

The bed was extremely comfy, and falling asleep to the sounds of the waves at night was absolutely heavenly. We're not big breakfast eaters but the plates of food Huw brought in for the other guests were absolutely massive so you will not be disappointed if you like your breakfast, He even makes fresh pancakes.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Ausblick zum Strand war sehr schön. Tenby is eine wunderschöne kleine Stadt, alles ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Wir wussten nicht, dass während unseres Aufenthalts der Ironman stattfinden würde, fanden es aber unheimlich spannend quasi mittendrin dabei zu sein.

Das Zimmer war etwas klein, bzw. die Möglichkeit seine Sachen unterzubringen etwas eingeschränkt. Für einige wenige Tage ausreichend, bei einem längeren Aufenthalt dann schon schwierig. Leider hat in unserem Bad die Lüftung nicht funktioniert und Huw hatte über das Wochenende keine Möglichkeit es zu reparieren. Somit mussten wir das Badezimmerfenster immer einen Spalt offen lassen was es bei den Temperaturen dann schon etwas kalt werden ließ.

The property was in an excellent location very close to south car park and south beach. The room was excellent with the most amazing view of south beach. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent and the extra facilities such as the fridge, safe, coffee machine were a real welcome addition. The breakfast was of a very high quality and nothing was too much trouble.

I definitely recommend this hotel! The owner is very friendly, the rooms are beautiful, clean, and fragrant, with a beautiful sea view. The biggest advantage is the delicious and varied breakfasts – everyone will find something for themselves. Furthermore, the location is ideal: close to the sea and the city, yet the area is quiet and safe.
