Appartamento molto grande, spazioso e dotato di ogni comfort. La posizione è davvero ottima: centrale, a due passi dal centro e comoda per raggiungere locali, ristoranti e supermercati. La colazione, inclusa nella tariffa, viene servita in un locale nelle immediate vicinanze. È stata ottima e di buona qualità, anche se, a mio parere, ci sarebbe bisogno di una maggiore varietà nella scelta. Molto positiva anche la comunicazione con la struttura, sia in fase di prenotazione che durante il soggiorno: sempre disponibili, gentili e tempestivi nelle risposte. Unica nota negativa: abbiamo riscontrato un persistente odore di muffa all’interno dell’ascensore, un aspetto che sarebbe sicuramente da verificare e risolvere. Nel complesso, comunque, un soggiorno piacevole e una struttura che consiglio.

It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was also in an excellent area for my needs.

the apartment is big with a very large baloney overlooking the city. having a washing machine was a huge bonus. the location of the place is perfect for exploring Funchal. super central and with a large supermarket at the end of the street. the host was very responsive and the remote check in process was very convenient.

the bathroom is a bit small. parking is very hard in the area, and so we ended up paying for parking more than expected... we did not consider that the nearest parking lot gets locked between 23:00 to 07:00, and so if you are planning to exit early to watch the sunrise, you might find yourself locked in like we did... (but that's our fault and not the hotels of course)

SO LOUD! I really appreciated the location, as everything was within easy reach. However, because the apartment is situated directly on a busy street, it was extremely noisy early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep with the window open. There was constant honking, the sound of the supermarkets’ air-conditioning systems, and even the noise of products being scanned by cashiers.

Before making the reservation on Booking.com, I called the apartment to ask about the possibility of booking. Shortly afterwards, the apartment was removed from Booking.com and then listed again at a price approximately €50 higher. Another major disadvantage was that we were not given actual keys to the apartment, but only a code. The same code was used for the main entrance, the shared terrace accessible to all residents, and our private apartment. We tried to change the code to a personal one and contacted the owner about it, but it was never changed. Unfortunately,I came back to Funchal after couple of days, and even a week later, the EXACT same code I was given still works for the main entrance. I think you can draw your own conclusions regarding the level of security this provides. I would also like to point out that this was already our fourth stay at Storytellers, which makes it particularly disappointing that our needs and concerns were not properly taken care of this time. Plus the sofa was not the same as the pictures - it was different and stained.

Nothing all was perfect

Some cupboards or a chest of drawers in the rooms would be useful, as there’s nowhere to put clothes other than the coat rack. Apart from that, the whole apartment is great.

The apartment was very spacious and was easy to get in and out. It was quiet and it was nice to be able to sit out and read your book.

I just couldn't fault it, except that l would have liked it, if there was a safety deposit box in the apartment.

Tudo otimo, limpo, seguro, posicao perfeita, APT grande. O APT tem uma varanda com vista divina no 5 andar e mais o sexto TB

Unica coisa que o box era bem pequeno, eu sou alta. Mas o resto è perfeito

Location is excellent for walking around Funchal. Spacious apartment and love having the roof top to go and relax. Cristina was very attentive to calling a taxi when we needed one and quick to respond to all our other needs.

The couch is not very comfortable and had some stains on it. We could not find the safe if there was one. Other than that, the facilities were great!

Beste Lage - zentral und doch nicht zu sehr im Geschehen. Grandiose Aussicht über die Insel. Großer Supermarkt direkt gegenüber, zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants und ein hervorragendes Frühstück! Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern stets schnell und sehr freundlich.

O que não gostei têm principalmente com uma condição fora do alojamento. por volta da meia noite liga-se uma maquina ( penso que é no continente em frente ) , e faz imenso barulho. Podia ser eliminado com uma janelas melhores apesar daquela serem boas .

Gezelligheid van het verblijf; het was eerder kil ingericht. Veel lawaai en ventillatie van de badkamer werkt niet goed

La ubicación es genial. También la vista desde la terraza.

Un poco sucio el suelo, especialmente porque tenemos una bebé q gatea. También teníamos la basura a reventar, y no había instrucciones dónde botarla o cómo separarla. Un poco ruidosos los vecinos al utilizar el ascensor y se escuchaba q movían muebles en el piso de arriba. De ahí todo bien!

Het geluid dus, en het was wel erg karig voor de prijs. Geen vaatdoek of keukenrol en verouderde, dunne handdoeken. Het was het allemaal net niet.

Localização fantástica e terraço para refeições com vistas espetaculares. Camas confortáveis, T2 com WC completo e de serviço, e anfitriã muito prestativa.

Appartamento pulito e curato, ottima posizione. Cristina è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile, è stato un ottimo soggiorno.

Taras na dachu i wspaniała lokalizacja! Przepyszne śniadanie w cenie. Apartament na 3 piętrze ale z windą. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem.

W łazience przydałaby sie w szafka lub półka na kosmetyczki. Z ulicy dobiega ciągle hałas z kilamtyzacji z pobliskiego sklepu.

Das Apartment ist sehr zentral gelegen und es gibt jede Menge Freizeitaktivitäten, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten immer nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Die Betten sind komfortabel und sauber und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet.

Das Apartment ist in die Jahre gekommenen und sehr verlebt. Die Couch und der Sessel wirken sehr dreckig. Tapete hängt teilweise von der Wand. Ein wenig Pflege täte dem Apartment gut. Außerdem kann man die Klimaanlage vom Haus gegenüber die ganze Nacht hören.

L' emplacement est excellent

Alors publicité mensongère car on a l' impression que l' appartement a une Terrasse et ce n' est pas le cas. Il faut monter au 5ème étage pour trouver la terasse commune a tout l' immeuble. Quand on ouvre les placards cela sens le vieux et sale , la douche est est toute petite et bouchée l' eau déborde peandant la douche. La cuisine et le salon sont très sombres car il n' y a pas de fenêtre, pas bon pour les claustrophobe. Les 3 femmes de ménage qui font énormément de bruit quant elles nettoyent l' appartement d' à côté, coups d' aspirateurs sur le sol, claquent les portes, parlent très fort, vous dérangent pour savoir à quelle heure vous partez , franchement aucune intimité. Franchement tres cher car apart l' emplacement il n' y a rien de positif. Il y a moins cher moitié du prix si vous vous éloignés 5km du centre . Vraiment vraiment déçus

A única vantagem é a localização. No entanto, para quem visita a Madeira e necessita de alugar carro, isso perde relevância rapidamente, porque estacionar na zona é difícil e caro. Acabámos por deixar o carro no Parque de Estacionamento Santa Luzia, a cerca de 400 metros, por 6€ por cada 24 horas.

A minha experiência neste apartamento foi bastante dececionante e não o recomendaria. Fiquei alojado no 4.º e último andar, e o isolamento acústico é extremamente fraco. As janelas pareciam estar permanentemente abertas, tal era a quantidade de ruído que entrava. O sistema elétrico/ventilação do supermercado Continente Modelo localizado no rés-do-chão do prédio em frente ouvia-se como se estivesse na rua. A partir das 8h da manhã era possível ouvir constantemente o som das máquinas a registar produtos, com os sucessivos "pip", o que tornava impossível descansar em condições. O apartamento apresentava ainda vários problemas de manutenção e conforto: havia formigas na cozinha, o chuveiro tinha muito pouca pressão de água, não existiam espelhos, e o sofá estava visivelmente manchado com várias nódoas.

L’ensemble était assez vétuste : fenêtres difficiles à fermer et assez mal insonorisées, toilettes bancales, porte de la douche difficile à fermer, sèche-cheveux HS Pas de machine à café dans la cuisine. Sur l'annonce le fait que le parking soit en supplément et pas dans l'établissement n'est pas assez claire.

Sehr zentrale Lage, sehr einfacher Zugang mittels Codes, die einem rechtzeitig zugesandt werden. Das Highlight ist die Dachterrasse, die mitgenutzt werden kann mit tollen Blick über Funchal

A good option for accommodation in the city center, close to everything. It has absolutely everything you need for an overnight stay.

A huge problem for light (or even not so light) sleepers: the store across the street runs air conditioning (or refrigerators) all night, making it very noisy. And, correspondingly, there are problems with the windows in the apartment, which don't block out street noise. Unfortunately, the administration is aware of the problem, but..... My recommendation: please change the windows if (I quote your answer) "you have no influence on this problem that is known to you." Unfortunately, after a sleepless night we were forced to leave at 5 am, the noise was so annoying

Die Lage war perfekt! Wir konnten alle Restaurants in 7 - 10 Minuten fußläufig erreichen!

Nach dem Check-Inn um 15 Uhr war die Wohnung leider noch nicht fertig. Wir mussten die Reinigungskräfte zudem erst darauf hinweisen. Dann wurde allerdings sofort mit der Reinigung begonnen, so dass wir mit etwas Verspätung eine sehr saubere Wohnung übernehmen konnten.

Flott, lys og stor leilighet. Beliggenheten var perfekt og vi fikk full valuta for pengene. Christina, som kommuniserte med oss, var veldig hyggelig og serviceinnstilt. Dette stedet anbefaler vi!

Son emplacement et la propreté de l'appartement

Pas d'isolation phonique ! Bruits extérieur énorme....nous avons très mal dormi pendant4 nuits. La douche est trop petite et seul un filet d'eau chaude... Le petit déjeuner est servi dans un magasin a l'extérieur de l'appartement et de l'immeuble a 3 minutes a pied...pas génial et surtout, mensonge ! Sur l'annonce, c'est marqué "sur place"...FAUX A fuir ! Prix inadéquate.

Lokalizacja była wspaniała! W miarę wyposażona kuchnia. Codziennie ścielone łóżka. Bardzo pomocny personel. Śniadania w knajpce blisko całkiem blisko. Przyjemny tarasik na dachu.

Biegające mini mróweczki po blatach w kuchni- wchodzące do jedzenia! Zapach był dziwny w mieszkaniu- taka stęchlizna? Wilgoć? Brak zmywarki. Kanapa brudna jak po kilku młodocianych imprezach… obrzydliwa. Głośno za oknem w nocy. Odpływy w łazience- woda nie spływała. Generalnie wymagałoby to całe mieszkanie remontu. Salon bez okna, oświetlenie średnie. Śniadania pyszne ale monotonne. Oderwane lampy od okapu,

Perfect location for everything in Funchal. Surprised how quiet it was. Lovely terrace with view of the hills.

This is a great apartment in a really central location. Access was easy, parking accessibility though we didn’t require it, a lift and a great roof terrace to relax on overlooking the old town .

Only (slightly) negative was the living area was a bit dark but the light flooding in through the bedroom windows helped.

The apartment was well situated. Supermarket right opposite, 3 mins walk for airport bus and only 5 mins from harbour and old town. Apartment had everything you needed for a short break, was clean and comfortable.

You may want ear plugs if you're a light sleeper as theirs what sounds like a very large air con unit going most of the night in the building opposite. It didn't bother me, but some people may find it disturbs them.

Чудове помешкання! Місце розташування дуже зручне! Поряд магазини, базар, кафе, набережна, пляж! Все прекрасно! Особливо хочеться відмітити терасу на даху! Можна помилуватися заходом сонця і вогниками вечірнього Фуншалу! Дякуємо!

Excellent location in Funchal. Very clean, well equipped apartment with everything we needed. In addition there is a rooftop terrace with 360 views & comfortable chairs & sun beds. This was a perfect stay & communication with the host was excellent. We will definitely use again. Thank you.

Not the coziest place but has the basics

Superfin beliggenhed. Dejligt lyse soveværelser. Lækker, fælles tagterrasse, som vi næsten havde for os selv.

Vi savnede dagslys i stuen/køkkenet, der er uden vinduer. Indgangspartiet fra elevator til lejlighedsdør var utrolig mørkt og derfor vanskeligt at finde taster til nøglekoden, men lygten i vores mobiltelefoner kunne heldigvis hjælpe.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Christina hat sich wirklich hervorragend gekümmert um unsere Anliegen.

Die nächtliche lautstarke Klimaanlage gegenüber raubt leider den Schlaf. Die Ausstattung könnte erweitert werden . Z. B. Garderobenhacken etc.

Супер квартира у центрі Фуншала! Всі зручності, 2 кімнати та кухня-вітальня. Білизна, рушники - все супер. Кондиціонери у кожній кімнаті, посуд, праска - все Є!!! Дякуємо та до нових зустрічей!

Very good location,daytime lovely busy with positive vibes,during the night calm enough to sleep like a kid. Stron wifi,good communication,easy in and out with the codes. Rooftop just amazing.

Facilities, the rooms and the apartment was as expected in this price level. And the address midtown is perfect.

We never found the instruction for renter if in the mail the day before arriving, meaning it took quite a while to get it solved. Luckily the woman on the phone understood and helped us by texting us on WhatsApp, very good! In fact I had no idea, that it was an Airbnb type of booking, so I was surprised by this fact.

очень скромные апартаменты. Местоположение - шумный город, рядом магазин и классный пляж у желтой крепости. на 2 ночи ок.

Die Lage ist super. Parken im 150 m entfernten Parkhaus möglich. Schöne Dachterasse. Nachts war es ruhig.Tagsüber reges Treiben in der Strasse. Man ist mitten drin, in der Altstadt. Autos fahren dort Schritttempo. Schlafcouch und Teile der Einrichtung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch ok. Betten waren sehr bequem. Zum Frühstück konnten wir zwischen 3 Menüs in einem Bio Laden auswählen. Es war sehr gut ( z.B. Brot mit Avocado und Rührei, pancakes oder overnight oats) Hätte bei einem 14 tägigen Aufenthalt allerdings etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können. Check in mit codes und check out hat problemlos funktioniert. Apartment wurde täglich gereinigt

Die Lage und der Preis sind ziemlich gut. Die Wohnung war zudem sehr groß und gut ausgestattet.

Die Klimaanlage vom Supermarkt gegenüber ist sehr laut. Man kann sich allerdings dran gewöhnen.

Location was perfect! The apartment was large, big bedrooms and large kitchen/living area. Elevator, good AC, washing machine. There was a cleaning service that came in everyday. Very walkable to all the restaurants, bars, stores. Close to the coast.

It did not have much decor, very sterile feeling. You could park in the parking garage down the street- just be mindful of the hours- they close and lock the garage at 11pm and dont open until 7am- so be aware if you want to get your car out for hikes or to go to the airport.
