Uno dei posti migliori di questo viaggio, tutto nuovo e pulito. La proprietaria gentilissima e ci ha aiutato anche con il bucato. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo succhi a colazione.

La stanza non è insonorizzata quindi sia di notte sia di mattina ci viene svegliati più volte dai rumori esterni. È una struttura molto basica, sarebbe stato apprezzato un frigo. È nel verde quindi aspettatevi insetti e gechi.

Dimu is een schat en maakt ontzettend lekker ontbijt. Alles is heel erg schoon, ruim en buiten zit je heelijk aan haar mooie tuin.

Honestly such an amazing stay, kindest owner ever, room was clean, spacious, aircon was top notch! Breakfast was the best we had had in the whole of Sri Lanka, we requested the Sri Lankan favourites including hoppers, coconut roti, fruits esc and was absolutely stunning! Highly recommend to anyone! Do not miss out on this place! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Wat een zaaaaalig ontbijt! Wat zijn we verwend door de gastvrouw. Ze hielp ons daarnaast onmiddellijk met alle vragen en verwachtingen :) De locatie hadden we onderschat en zouden we enkel met scooter aanraden.

Fairway Dil Homestay is truly a hidden gem. It’s located just a short distance from the main road, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts kindly prepared dinner for me despite my last-minute request, which I really appreciated. I also forgot my phone charger, and they thoughtfully called me before I left to let me know. The property is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Excellent hospitality, great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was amazing, very kind and welcoming. We prepared and enjoyed the best breakfast we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. The room was clean and comfortable, and the area in front of the house was beautifully maintained and very well cared for. We highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again!

Zelo bi pohvalila zajtrk in izjemno prijazno gostiteljico, ki je naredila vse da bi nam lahko ustregla. Bivanje je bilo prijetno, čisto. Z veseljem bi se vrnili.

Wir hatten so einen tollen Aufenthalt, können nicht aufhören zu schwärmen! Das Zimmer war geräumig, sehr sauber und man hatte alles, was man brauchte. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag abwechselnde einheimische Spezialitäten die wirklich ein Traum waren. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich sehr hilfreich mit allem und spricht sehr gut englisch!

We loved our stay here! It’s a very cute house surrounded by nature, and felt super peaceful and quiet. The room is very comfortable and had good AC which was important because it was quite hot during the day! The host is so kind and super helpful before our stay and during via WhatsApp answering all of my questions. The breakfast is amazing and so much food! For dinners, we ate a little cafe next door which had a great buffet. There’s plenty of restaurants within walking distance to choose from. The host helped arrange a scooter for our stay and a car to get to our next destination which was super helpful. Really recommend Fairview!

After a long journey, it was the best place to stay. The host was beautiful, she was so nice and helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was also really great. It was the perfect stay and we highly recomment it!

Literally everything!:-) We had a wonderful stay and can truly recommend this homestay. The location is great, and the whole house and garden are beautifully maintained and clearly cared for with a lot of love and attention to detail. It creates such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed. The energy of the place is calm and warm, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Our host was also wonderful — very kind, helpful, and caring throughout our stay. On our last day we had to leave very early in the morning and mentioned that we would miss breakfast. She kindly prepared a delicious lunch pack for us to take on the way, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you again for this beautiful experience. We are very grateful and would happily come back.

If you like walking around, going back home on foot after sunset was a bit scary. No shampoo or shower gel.

We loved our stay in Fairview Dill. It was so peaceful, surrounded by nature and a very nice home. The room was so clean and spacious. Our favourite was the amazing breakfast we got! It was a 10 min tuk tuk from lions rock but there is still restaurant’s nearby. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

The host and owner was very accommodating, kind and nice. The breakfast included all the best local ingredients. The peacefulness, cleanliness and facilities definitely were a surprising feature of the place. I would definitely stay again and recommend to all of my friends.

Very narrow road to reach the property, therefore if driving a car, precaution is needed.

The generously helpful host, the location and the breakfast, especially the breakfast. Beautiful place not far from the lion rock but enough to escape from the hubub of tourists, our stay here was for a single night but it is definitely worth a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always responding to our messages instantly and making sure all our requests were fulfilled. The breakfasts were very diverse and absolutely delicious. The garden is beautiful, and it was a pleasure to have such warm and friendly conversations with the host. Our room and balcony were spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place and the best hostess we have had on our full trip. Offers to add laundry service and dinner. She cooks absolutely incredibly, is SO kind and helpful, and the room is spotless. Got the first full hot shower here.

Alles was super goed en mooi verzorgd: de tuin, de schone fijne kamer, het ontbijt. Op de patio kan je heerlijk een boekje lezen of je reis verder plannen met een kopje thee in alle rust. Onze host was een super lieve warme vrouw en meedenkend. Wij hadden onze eigen tuktuk dus qua locatie perfect voor ons. Aanrader voor deze heerlijke homestay!

A lovely place. Spotlessly clean, good AC, comfy beds and good shower. You get your own sitting area and table outside the room surrounded by lovely gardens. The internet worked surprisingly well. The host is great and very responsive. SHe prepared us breakfast each morning and it was a different and delicious sri lankan dish along with a more traditional western option, plus fruit and freshly made juice. The place is at the end of a short laneway and fields are on the other side of the property. You can hear the peacocks and elephants even come nearby. You can easily walk to a few restaurants on the main road. It is quiet and peaceful. Exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend.

The only negative is that it is a shower in the open room, extremely common in Sri Lanka. However, there is a provided floor squeegee and the drainage is good, so the floor does not stay wet, which is typically my issue with this setup.

Everything about this place was amazing! The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The outdoor area was simply beautiful—quiet, serene, and surrounded by greenery. You’ll love the presence of colorful birds and playful squirrels, which make the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the host’s incredible cooking! Make sure to order your meals in advance so they can prepare something delicious for you. Overall, this is a perfect spot for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. Highly recommended!

Dimuthu was an exceptional host who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She made sure we had everything we needed, and the breakfast she prepared was absolutely delicious. To top it off, she even made us a packed breakfast to go at 6:30 AM for our 5-hour drive, which was incredibly thoughtful. I highly recommend staying at her place – the location is perfect!

Staying here for 1 night was the highlight of our trip. Close to sigiriya, it is a quiet beautiful house backing onto fields, with beautiful nature and a sense of peace. On an afternoon walk along the track at the back of the house we saw many peacocks, a wild tortoise and fresh elephant tracks. It was exciting. Dimuthu was the perfect host, and the breakfast was incredible. Thank you!!!!

Excellent service and yummy breakfast.

This was my first visit to Srilanka. I stayed at this Homestay for 2 nights - 01st and 02nd Feb 2025. I loved everything and the host was a lovely lady who took good care of me during my stay. I requested to have only Srilankan local Breakfast and she prepared a variety for the 2 mornings - Coconut rotis with egg preparation, a smoothie, bananas, a fresh glass of warm milk (since I only have milk), Egg - 2 varieties of Hoppers plus a Chocolate Hopper plus string hoppers with a sweet coconut and jaggery filling. This was my spread over 2 mornings for breakfast. Price was affordable for a Solo traveler with Breakfast, Soap, Towels, Blanket and a room stand fan. There was hot water shower which is welcoming in a hot country like Srilanka. Rooms were super clean and all linen was immediately changed for the next guest that checked in. I know this since I stayed there for 2 nights and witnessed it myself. She was also kind to warm my food and serve me hot food that I purchased from outside for dinner. Overall I enjoyed my 2 nights stay which had a peaceful night sleep and caught my morning walk of 10km as well

This property should start their own website to get full benefit of their hard-work. Traveler's can directly book with them on their website rather than from booking platforms like Booking. Com etc they take 20% commission unnecessarily for travellers using their medium to book. I also gave this recommendation to the host - lovely young lady.

Lack of Ac conditioning

Me and my girlfriend liked everything about the stay! Dimuthu made sure we had everything we wanted and the food was veeery delicious! We would definitely recommend this to everyone. Dimuthu is the kindest person we’ve ever met!

The room and bathroom are modestly furnished. In our room, more hangers, a shelf, or furniture for a second suitcase would be useful.

We had a great time at the accommodation and Dimuthu was a great hostess. The breakfast was really delicious and on request she also made us one of the best curries for dinner that we have had in Sri Lanka so far. When we wanted to rent a scooter, Dimuthu got one for us and less than 10 minutes later it was at our doorstep. I can only recommend this accommodation. Any time again, thank you Dimuthu :)

The location is a bit out of the way but was just right for us. You have peace and quiet and a great view of the huge garden

We booked a deluxe room and it was perfect💯 Super clean and modern! No need to go to safari - we saw a lot of birds and animals at the backyard, even an elephant (it was rare)!😀 We felt very welcomed, Dimuthu, the host made sure we felt safe and comfortable. Thanks once again, sending a lot of appreciation ✨

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, featured a mosquito net. Wild elephants roam nearby so an amazing experience to be able to see their footprints and the chance to see the elephants themselves at night. Monkeys and peacocks too. Bathroom was modern and spotless also, shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was gorgeous, Dimuthu made homemade delicacies each morning (things like roti, pancakes, muffins, eggs) and it was like our own mini buffet! Dimuthu is one of the most hospitable hosts in our whole 9 months of travelling. A truly lovely lady who was so kind in showing us around the area.

We loved our stay! Dimuthu was so kind and organised us any activity and tuktuk driver to destinations. We ate amazing breakfast & dinner there, prepared vegan for our request - so tasty and colorful! Her garden is also very beautiful and calming. We recommend this stay from the bottom of our hearts!

We loved everything! But good to notice that this is not a central location, and main attractions need to be reached with a tuktuk.

Our experience could not have been more amazing! She helped us organise the elephant safari and without doubt we had the best guides. Also with the tuktuk and places to eat. She was always super friendly and sweet.

This has been our favorite homestay in sri lanka and we have been travelling around 3 weeks! It is super clean and comfortable. Our highlights were our cooking class and another night where she cooked us dinner. She even accomodated my partners coconut allergy which was amazing . Breakfast was also delicious :)
