Handy location and super comfy bed i haven't slept that well in years ! we didn't have breakfast due to our schedule but it looked and smelt fantastic

The staff was very friendly. Our lunch and breakfast were very good. The inn is very centrally located with respect to the trails and the car park.

Some amenities were not supplied. The floors were uneven, but that added to the ambiance.

Sehr zentrale und doch ruhige Lage, ein typisch englisches Inn mit sehr viel Charme. Auch das Essen war hervorragend! Sehr freundlicher Service, alles bestens, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Soggiorno in un locale tipico inglese. La camera abbastanza grande è un bagno comodo. La particolarità è di soggiornare in un locale tipico. Poter cenare e fare colazione al pub al piano sottostante. Pulizia ottima.

We liked the location and we had a lovely meal there with our friends.

It was a "pub" therefore we expected to be able to drink until 11pm but last orders were at 9.30 thats a bit early for me to go to bed especially on holiday! The public areas were very grubby. The bed was very high - I am only 5ft and could not reach it I had to request a step. A member of staff (male been there 38 years) was very very rude to us. On arrival there is a space in front of the pub that asks people not to park there as it was for staff only. However, there was nowhere else to park for us to unload our cases. So as it was empty I asked if we could park there until we unloaded our cases. Of course we were told so we did. It was a hot day and after climbing stairs etc a drink was well needed. So again I asked the lovely lady if we would be ok for about 10 minutes while we had a cold drink and she said yes of course. After a few minutes a car turned up hooting! He got out and started shouting to everyone sitting outside "who does THAT (ours) car belong to"! I stood up and he started yelling at me in front of everyone. He wouldnt listen to me trying to explain that we were told it would be ok for 10 minutes he just went on and on - it was very embarassing for us and, also for the other staff who were trying to calm him down!!! Next day we were told that he never parks there anyway he just wanted to make a statement! Nasty man!

Nice size of room with full private bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and glad to have a fan to circulate the air on a hot night.

Der WC Sitz hatte verfärbungen, Frühstück sehr fettig was aber vielleicht auch normales Englisch Breakfast ist.

Pub and dinner was excellent, staff are lovely. Great spot on our walk through the Cotswalds.

Chambre petite, tres vieillotte, propreté douteuse surtout salle de bains (on ne peut pas bouger). L'authenticité ne doit pas etre synonyme de complètement défraîchi... Attention aussi pour les repas au pub - Très inégal - plat correct mais d autres vraiment pas bons. Bref en résumé pour le prix il y a mieux ailleurs ...

UNFORTUNATELY MY ROOM, NO 4 RECEIVED ALL THE AFTERNOON SUN AND THE ROOM WAS VERY HOT EVEN WITH THE FAN GOING 24HRS A DAY. I ALSO FOUND THE BED UNCOMFORTABLE.

Access to the hotel laundry was via our bedroom.

Cooked breakfast was nice, but experience would have been further improved with some cereals/yoghurt etc.

Friendly staff welcomed us and showed us to our room. I love the quirky features of this old pub. The rooms were clean and comfortable and were decorated in a lovely style. Beds were very comfortable. The food and beers were really good.

Perfect location just off Broadway High Street and easily connected with the Cotswold Way. Loved the property’s preserved 17th century features - it felt like a true English country inn experience. Bed was so large, soft and comfortable. Loved the ensuite bathroom (including bath, which I used!). Cooked breakfast was outstanding and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and chatty.

Only qualm is it’s a little pricey nightly rate, although I understand this is on par with this part of the Cotswolds.

The location was ideal. We loved the pub and the outdoor beer garden. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was exceptional. Sonya made sure everything was perfect.

The bed was super comfy. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Location was central and very quiet. It was hot during our stay and a fan had been put in our room.

Our room was very dated and the en suite was tiny. The toilet had a crack. It felt like no money had been spent on anything except the bed for a long time.

Shower floor has had too much water spillage and needs to be fixed.

Old world charm. This was by far the oldest place I have ever stayed and I loved the uneven floors, narrow corridors and low door entries. At the same time, it had the largest bath that I’ve seen in quite some time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The narrow staircase to the rooms was a bit tight.

The food was excellent ! Service was also excellent . My bed was comfortable. We walked to hotel from the trail, easy to find .

Run down rooms very poor facilities, bathroom was horrible shower didn’t work properly , carpet near the toilet . I can’t stress enough this was run down and certainly not worth the money . The staff were rude and seemed entitled no customer service they really didn’t care .

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food is good and plentiful.

Mould in the bathroom. Room very small. Window in the room did not stay open and needed to improvise and prop it up to get fresh air in the room. Check in was mean to be from 13:30hrs as per the app only to be told that it was wrong and we could not access our room until 14:30hrs - 15:00hrs

Kleines gemütliches Zimmer, bequemes Bett. Liegt direkt am Cotswold Way, zum Wandern also perfekt! Frühstück konnte man extra ordern, typisch englisches Frühstück, was will man mehr!

Having visited & stayed in Broadway many times, the property location was very good and had age & character. The room was clean, well appointed and more than adequate for our stay over.

On arrival (around 5 pm, the member of staff on duty was not that helpful in recommending or supplying information about car parking as the QH had no dedicated car parking facilities. After parking in a short stay (free only 6pm until 8am), we returned to the hotel, hastily showed our room and urged to complete a form by 7 pm to request breakfast items. There was no milk in the room to make a cup of tea so this has to be arranged and at the same time we were told that if we required food that evening it would also need to be ordered by 7 pm! The experience felt very rushed. We did order food at the bar but subsequently told the chicken my wife had ordered was no longer available. Our meals arrived very quickly after ordering which suggested they were pre-prepared and not cooked to order. We left after dining to use facilities in an other pub for the remainder of the evening. Prior to this we settled our bill which including 2 drinks was more pricy than anticipated but then realised we had received service charge which was never anticipated or even explained. Reading other reviews we can see that other guests have negatively commented on the service charge also. Fortunately we had declined the breakfast option as no doubt a further service charge would have been applied! We will be returning to Broadway in the future but sadly not to the QH, not because of the facilities or location but the overall experience of customer care.

Die Lage ist super zentral. Alter romantischer Pub, wie aus der Zeit gefallen. Von außen wirklich urig und einladend. Zentral-Parkplatz ist in Laufnähe. Die junge Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Haben am Ankunftstag für Lunch reserviert. Auf der Website und laut Tripadvisor sehr empfehlenswert. Absolut mittelmäßiger Pubfood. Vor Öl triefende Lasagne - ungenießbar. Wir haben zwei volle Teller stehengelassen und es wurde nicht mal nachgefragt, ob etwas nicht in Ordnung war. Das Zimmer war so abgewohnt. Der wohl mal dunkelrosa Teppich ist abstoßend schmuddelig und alt, grau und fleckig - wirklich widerlich. Und die Matratze muss schon viele viele Monde gesehen und sehr viele Gäste getragen haben, die hing durch wie eine Hängematte. Angegraute alte Handtücher. Ich habe nichts gegen einfache Ausstattung, es ist ein altes Haus und dass da die Wände und Böden schief sind, und nicht alles up to date ist, erwartet man ja, das macht ja den Charme aus, aber das Zimmer war gruselig.

Bagno piccolo (lavandino talmente piccolo da non riuscire nemmeno a lavarsi i denti) e molto vecchio. Appena arrivati c’era veramente molto freddo in camera.

Lack of parking. Flashing christmas lights into bedroom on New Years Eve stopping sleep (turned off the following night). Draughty window. Limited breakfast choice.

The room was very comfortable could do with some updating carpet and decor had an issue with the toilet blocked owners thought we flushed something down the toilet we shouldn't have but certainly didn't the cleanliness could of been better didn't use the shower as the shower head was very dirty dusty behind bed so just a couple things to be done

Caroline is a great host. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean, comfortable and very warm. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Can't fault it.

Nothing really. There is no on-site parking but this is made clear before booking. There is a reasonably priced long stay car park 10 minutes walk away.

The only negative was lack of parking. We had to keep visiting the car park to add more money. This would stop us staying again
