Be mindul that opposite the hotel is massive and very noisy constuction that starts around 7am in the morning and goes to 6pm

Schönes, grosses Zimmer mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf das Matterhorn. Personal sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereit. Ein tolles Frühstück. Lage zentral.

Leider hatte es nebenan eine Baustelle und es war recht laut. Dies ist jedoch ja nicht Fehler vom Hotel.

The location and breakfast are amazing. Good comfort with nice beds that don’t squeak even on the upper berth. Amazing view of the Matterhorn.

Was slightly warm even though the night temperature dropped to 14 degrees outside. We had to leave the windows open.

Amazing! Everything was at it was published. And loved that we can see the Matterhorn right from our balcony! The staff were always in good spirits and helpful. Loved the breakfast spread. Too bad we only stayed for a night!

It’s a little bit too far for walk from the train station with luggages, but glad there’s buggy option which we talk on the way back.

部屋の中は快適だった。マッターホルンが少しではあるがテラスから見えるのも良かった。

ツェルマットの駅から歩く場合は、かなりの登り坂を重い荷物を引いて登ることになるので相当しんどかった。食事や買い物に行くのもメインストリートになるので、行きは下りで良いが帰りは荷物が多いと結構な体力を必要とすると思う。あと料金がちょっと高いかな。

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Basecamp hôtel. Les chambres sont très confortables et grandes avec une atmosphère alpinisme et une superbe vue sur le Cervin. L'hôtel est un petit peu à l'écart des rues principales de Zermatt ce qui est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et très bon. Ce sera sans aucun doute notre Basecamp pour un prochain séjour à Zermatt

Great view of Matterhorn from the balcony! Room was very big and spacious, great for opening suitcases. Even had a sofa to lounge on. Breakfast was simple but good! Love the pastries and extra cheese in my omelettes.

Was informed via email/message that taxi to/from the train station costs 17 Chf but on arrival noticed a sign specifying that guests who stay 3 nights or more can access complimentary shuttle service to and from the station so would have been nice to be offered that for arrival. Esp since we arrived on eve of the Swiss national day and streets were crowded. The distance from train station to the property is only a few hundred metres which to be fair is not far on foot but feels far on crowded rocky roads with suitcases. Not by any fault of the property itself but sometimes guests next door can be a little loud when chatting in the balcony but because it's summer with no AC we had to leave the balcony door open a wee bit for ventilation.

Personnel à l’écoute et très réactif lors de nos échanges écrits. Nous avions organisé une petite surprise pour nos parents, et tout a été parfaitement préparé avec beaucoup d’attention. C’était la deuxième fois que je séjournais au BaseCamp, et je reviendrai bien évidemment avec grand plaisir lors de mon prochain séjour à Zermatt. Une adresse que je recommande vivement ! Merci à toute l'équipe Basecamp :)

This is a great hotel about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the train station. Great breakfast with lots of choices and super friendly and helpful staff. We loved our stay here. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean with a great balcony and fabulous shower.

Das Zimmer war sehr durchdacht und ohne Schnickschnack gemütlich eingerichtet, mit guter Qualität der Betten und Duvets. Leckeres Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal - man fühlt sich willkommen

Der Geschmack der Kaffeebohnen schmeckt sehr outdoor-mäßig, wobei es irgendwie auch lustig war

On a adoré l'emplacement central mais calme. La déco des chambres est faite avec beaucoup de goût et la literie super confortable. Le staff est très avenant: On devait quitter l'établissement très tôt, avant l'heure du petit déjeuné, mais ils ont eu la gentillesse de nous préparer un café et un repas à emporter. On reviendra !

Schon der sehr freundliche Empfang an der Rezeption bei meiner Ankunft hat einen guten ersten Eindruck hinterlassen – und genauso freundlich war auch der Check-out, bei dem ich sogar noch ein Packung hausgemachtes Granola als Geschenk bekommen habe. Hier trifft eine gemütliche Berghütten-Atmosphäre auf viele persönliche Details. Überall im Hotel entdeckt man interessante Erinnerungsstücke der Besitzer sowie Informationen über die Berge rund um Zermatt und andere alpine Regionen. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber und mit vielen praktischen Extras ausgestattet: zahlreiche Lampen, zusätzliche Kissen, ein Wasserkocher, Verdunkelungsvorhänge und mehr. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit einer privaten Terrasse, die sich um die Ecke des Gebäudes zieht. Auf der einen Seite blickt man zurück auf die Bergwelt, die einen bei der Anreise nach Zermatt begrüsst, und auf der anderen Seite hat man einen freien Blick auf das Matterhorn. Das Hotel liegt etwa zehn Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und damit angenehm abseits des Trubels der Hauptstrasse. Dadurch ist es sehr ruhig. Ich kann dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Preis, Service und die persönliche Atmosphäre haben mich überzeugt. Für mich ist es einer der Geheimtipps in Zermatt.!

only small picky complain is the lack of fridge inside the room, which is not good from 2026 hotel standard. but for the rest, we were satisfied

Not that close to Zermatt railway station but hotel provide a good guidance on the most comfortable path to the hotel.

マッターホルンビューの部屋を予約してたが、前にある建物で隠れて見えず、ベランダの端っこに行けばギリ見える部屋だった点が少し残念だった、部屋番号は24番

Everything was fantastic! The location was perfect to get a view of the Matterhorn. The staff were really kind at all times. The rooms were quite spacious and lots of legroom after keeping luggage. The breakfast was so nice! Lots of variety in food for vegetarian. They have a taxi service to help with the luggage for a small fee as it is a 10 minute uphill walk from the train station.

Great location if you are looking for some peace in Zermatt. The room was spacious and had a great view of the Mattarhorn from the balcony. Good breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
