Great location
The Biggy room was small
Breakfast was great.
Room, small. Mattress, destroyed. Shower, dribbly.
Very nice place. Great bar and breakfast area. And super clean.
Teeny tiny rooms. For this price these rooms are insanely small. And the lounge is literally just random ppl working. I know thats the hoxtons thing, but you'd wake up at 9 and there's nowhere to sit cause everyone's on a zoom call.
Sophie on reception was lovely! The room was nice and comfy. Really reasonably priced for that night
All of the people who aren’t staying in the hotel, sitting on their laptops with water so there’s no where for you to sit. I think if you’re paying to stay you shouldn’t have this issue. It also completely kills the vibe
Loved everything
Forgot my AirPod pro in room 410 And my friend pick it up for me without all the particles Hope you will find it
L’emplacement parfait
Douche cassée Literie déplorable pour un 4 étoile et le prix de la nuitée hors petit déjeuner . Pas de sommier une simple planche de bois !!!!
Perfect location and beautiful interior
Shower wasn’t draining very well, but reported to staff who were very helpful and responsive
Jederzeit wieder.
Location is extremely convenient for exploring central London and catching shows. Room is smartly designed that meets all our needs. Shower water pressure is excellent. The staff is very nice and helpful. They give you a month free of their membership program where you can get a free barista coffee everyday in the lobby. I highly recommend the Hoxton holborn
Location was fantastic, design of the hotel was lovely.
Very overpriced for what you got - we paid £360 a night for a room that didn’t even have up to date apps on the television. No Netflix, prime etc. We were on our honeymoon and just wanted a day chilling watching tv - couldn’t do that. We had stated on our booking that we were on our honeymoon and weren’t made to feel special by staff welcoming us. Service charge at the bar - even when going to the bar to get your own drinks, service charge is added. Lobby is full of people using the co-working space with no where for paying residents to go. We asked for fresh towels as we were leaving the hotel in the early afternoon - when we got back at 10pm they were still not there and we had to wait a further hour after going back down to reception. You could stay at the standard hotel for the same price which is a 5 star, and a much bigger room, rooftop bar and nicer restaurant. Would recommend to do that if you’re looking to spend this sort of money.

Bigger room
Well situated and helpful staff. Nice bathroom products
Room was very small for the price and sounds from the corridor/doors closing were very loud in the room
great location, fabulous decor, rooms and lovely staff!
Shame the lovely reception area was filled with non residents of the hotel working on laptops taking up seating space.

Good central location. Room decor although a bit dark. Very comfortable bed with black out blinds. On main street but no noise issues. Small but nicely done bathroom. Very clean
Bedroom quite dark, even with lights on Reception lounge used as a working hub so no available sofa seating to have a drink with our friends at 4.30pm. Had to sit in the back by the dinning area which was again very dark and not atmospheric. It was nice to see the hotel being used but think there should be an area/bigger area for residents only to sit and relax. We were evicted from the sofas in the bar at midnight as they were closing even though we were paying residents and asked for 5 minutes to finish up.
Great atmosphere in lobby. Clean, close to great gym, not so busy. Central and easy to walk anywhere.
The room was very clean and well appointed. I appreciated the little things, like the music playing on the radio when we arrived. I enjoyed the bartender's conversation, and the help from the front desk personnel, and the restaurant staff.
There wasn't anything I didn't like, but the lobby always seemed to have people sitting around working, which made me think maybe their wi-fi was better there, so they used it as a remote office. Not bad, just odd.
Great location. Hotel was modern and clean
Had a couple of incidents with rude staff in the bar area. Rooms only cleaned on request but then we were randomly woken up one morning as they came in to clean without being asked. Cafe/Bar area always very busy.
Our stay was excellent. Location is exactly what we were looking for - quite street but within a walking distance from Soho and Covent Garden, Highly recommend. The room was great (comfy bed, super clean, included all the essentials). The staff was so welcoming and pleasant! Shout out especially to Sam :)
Great location, very cool spot, loved the room and everything about it. Highly recommended.
The bathroom was not great. Water in the shower goes down very slowly.
Neteja, cèntric, personal, estil
El hall sempre amb tanta gent. He trobat a faltar més espai per a les persones que s’allotgen a l’hotel.
Everything was fantastic, from design to comfort to location. Nienke at the front desk was especially kind and helpful.
While the cocktails were good, they were a bit pricey. Perhaps that is simply a Holborn price though.
Great location, nice lobby area, convenient room
Pillows were uncomfortable and the hot water pressure was very low
Location was great, food/drinks in lobby, stylish, friendly staff, soap was excellent, and shower was strong & easy to use.
No washcloths and the toilet paper was bit thick for my liking (wife says she loved it, though).
Very helpful staff
The wallpaper in my original room was a bit unsettling for me. However, the staff were incredibly understanding and kindly moved me to a newer room, which made my stay much more comfortable.
The lobby was quite popular with locals as a work space and it made me feel comfortable that the hotel had a great, welcoming reputation. The hotel was convenient to 2 tube stations making exploring the city very convenient! The staff were very helpful (shout out to Neinke, Omar, and Kripali for their assistance).
It was a bit hotter than I prefer in the room and the AC didn’t seem to be adjustable. London is going through a heat wave at the moment so I know there may be other factors to the heat.
Sophie did an amazing job and was very helpful during our stay. There were a couple of gents on the evening shift who helped enormously when my wife broke her arm. The restaraunt personnel were also quite good. The room was well appointed and the bed was suberb and allowed us to sleep beautifully for 12 hours after our day one flight. Thank y'all very much! Jimmy & Jenny from Texas
I can’t find anything that I didn’t love about this hotel stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm staff members, especially, Sophie, who continued to assist us with recommendations throughout the rest of our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. We thoroughly enjoyed the very large lobby space with its comfortable areas to relax and socialize. We also enjoyed the bar and dining options. The prices for everything were very reasonable. It was a comfortable place to stay and the location was perfect for us. We felt safe walking to shows and restaurants and found the area easy to navigate. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit and will recommend the Hoxton in Holburn.
Loved the Hoxton Holborn, very central location. Rooms were cozy and stylish, staff were super friendly. Walked to dinner and to a show and back, felt very safe. Had one of our rooms available for early check in which was very appreciated.
A huge thank you to Victoria and Nienke for keeping my phone safe and returning it to me. They were so kind, honest, and helpful. I truly appreciate everything they did. Excellent customer service!
Had an amazing girls trip to london, beds are extremely comfy although the rooms are a little small. Shoutout to Sophie for being super kind and chatting to us everyday!
Stayed July 25 & 26 in 2026. Room was as expected at a Hotxton, but hotel lobby was problematic. Don’t recommend. Won’t return. The hotel lobby, the entrance to the hotel is more like a work space for students and remote workers than it is a hotel lobby. My husband and I sat down to have a coffee in the hotel lobby/entrance and firstly we found it difficult to find a seat - chair or sofa to sit in. The hotel staff told us that the sofa’s were dedicated for laptop users and we could sit by the bar, but several people on laptops (working - in online meetings) were also sat at the bar. We ordered two coffees and I had a little Chocolate in my handbag that I took out to eat. I was told by a security guard not to eat food that has not been purchased in the hotel. The reason we sat in the lobby was because our room had not been cleaned. Apparently if you want your room cleaning you have to request it - that’s ok, but when we sat in the lobby we were made to feel and felt far from comfortable. If you want to have a work space for the day or evening - free WiFi, free water, reasonably priced coffee, a good sofa and nice toilets - the hotel lobby is your place! Looking for a hotel Lobby/entrance that is welcoming, where you can get a comfortable seat and a drink and relax, and that “feels like home away from home” - avoid at all costs.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location. The perfect stay for London. This was my third stay. I will be back in October. No other hotel for me in London!
Easy location. Great hotel - super comfy bed and layout of the room. Wonderful staff who were kind, friendly and informative. I really enjoyed it. Looking to rebook for a weekend in October.
Location expirience room decoration and space atmosphere and cool vibes
Our experience at the hoxton was wonderful! Upon check in we were greeted by Sophie and she was so kind and wonderful. She helped us start our trip off great. The rooms were super cute and clean! We would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic location, facilities, super friendly staff - couldn't recommend higher - best welcome I've had at a hotel in years. Commend the desk staff and restaurant. Thank you.
Cute small, but stylish rooms
Service has been great so far, Sophie really helped with making our experience great at the Hoxton, definitely will be back
Fantastic the neighborhood
Na
Have stayed here a number of times & won’t stay here again. The rooms are so small - there’s nowhere to put a suitcase & hang any clothes. The bathroom was super small & constantly smelt of damp/wet towels. The shower system is ridiculous - so complicated & 90% of the time there was no hot water. The bar downstairs is seriously overpriced & so full of people working on laptops - really unpleasant - won’t be returning
The hotel was set in a perfect location - very close to an underground station, very central without being a busy, touristy, loud area. Walkable to everything we needed, Covent garden, SoHo, Southbank, Leicester Square, British Museum - everything. The staff were all very lovely especially the lady who checked us in - Sophie, she was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We have stayed at a couple of Hoxton hotels before so expected a cool design, lovely rooms and a great bar and this Hoxton (just like the others we have experienced) did not let us down. The bar is really cool. We tried the breakfast in the restaurant once which was lovely - I had the N’duja scrambled eggs, which were lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It is a bit pricey but worth it.
Exceptional hotel and service. Nienke at the reception was extremely helpful and kind.
Was a great stay! Team were amazing, rooms were clean and beautifully designed. Definitely had a timeless design that made you feel at home. Just want to mention one thing: Big shout out to Nina and Sam. I happened to check out during what looked like a difficult conversation with a guest but they handled it like pros. Well done! And best of luck with your training Sam!
Definitely recommend it! The English Breakfast was exquisite and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Congratulations! Miryam served us wonderfully, very friendly! —we’ll definitely be back! Thanks Miryam. Simon & Martha Parker
Absolutely outstanding service by Lynda. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Coffee was excellent, and served with a smile. Thank you so much Lynda for making me feel so welcome.
My stay at the Hoxton Holborn was excellent. Rooms were not spacious, but comfortable, clean, and stylish. Sophie at the front desk was friendly and helpful on checkin.
Location. Lobby and bar area. Music and vibe
You need to remember to ask for cleaning the room and the Recepcion did not tell me in check in..
Charming hotel but on the pricy end. However, the staff and location is amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Xoxo
Very helpful and friendly services. We arrived at the hotel early, with the hope of dropping our bags, but Nienke was really helpful and found us a room. A great start to our stay!
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! The staffs were lovely. The rooms were very nice and they got AC which was handy during the heatwave. They called to check in during our stay which was very nice.
Nothing. I loved the hotel.
Such friendly staff (thanks Sophie!) close proximity to everything, comfortable bedding.
Nothing.

Location location location!
The lounge area can get quite busy, especially in the hot weather.
The hotel was absolutely wonderful, very clean very nice, great vibe! The restaurant was good, and the staff was absolutely incredible! I had a lot of requests above and beyond what would normally be provided at a hotel and they were so accommodating, friendly, and kind about it! Particularly Sophie! Overall great experience!
Love the lobby / bar area -- not all hotel guests, but adds to the vibe/energy of the place. Staff were fantastic and attentive -- noticed I was having a rough day so offered me some drinks on the house. Room spotless on check-in.
I found the in-house dining team slightly rude.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to ALL the staff at the Hoxton. Unfortunately, I have a lung disease which necessitates oxygen 24/7. All the staff could not have done more to help me and my family with the logistics of moving oxygen cylinders around the hotel. Whenever I asked for help, they all went out of their way to help me making my stay so much more relaxing and enjoyable. I cannot recommend The Hoxton, Holborn more strongly. Shame it only goes to 5 stars, I would have given easily 10 stars. Enjoy your stay at the Hoxton, I'm sure you will.
As a first-time visitor to London traveling solo from the United States, I could not have chosen a better place to stay than The Hoxton, Holborn. My original plan was simple: see the sights, experience London's incredible theatre scene, and explore the city. What I didn't expect was that the hotel itself would become one of the highlights of my trip. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, engaging, and genuinely invested in helping me make the most of my time in London. Rather than offering generic recommendations, they took the time to learn about my interests and suggested experiences that aligned with what I was looking for culturally. Their recommendations transformed my itinerary and helped me experience a side of London I might have otherwise missed. One of my favorite experiences was seeing *The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind*, which was conveniently within walking distance of the hotel. The location made it easy to enjoy London's theatre district, markets, restaurants, and many of the city's iconic attractions without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. What stood out most, however, was the atmosphere. As a solo traveler, there is a fine balance between feeling independent and feeling isolated. The Hoxton managed that balance perfectly. I never felt watched or intruded upon, yet I never felt alone. As a Black American male traveling solo, that sense of comfort and belonging meant more than I can adequately express. The staff consistently asked about my experiences around the city with genuine curiosity and warmth. Their hospitality felt authentic rather than scripted. In fact, during a phone call home with friends, I accidentally referred to the hotel as "home"—and that probably says everything. The environment throughout the hotel was equally impressive. There was always a vibrant energy in the lobby and common spaces, with people creating, working, connecting, and sharing ideas. It felt less like a hotel and more like a community. The Hoxton, Holborn provided far more than a place to sleep. It helped create one of the most memorable travel experiences I've had. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, culturally rich, and perfectly located home base in London.
The location is great the staff are pleasant and the bar has great cocktails and food. Sophie was a great host, very pleasant and guided us on the hotel and activities in London
Very best on all of the above! We had a lovely time! Thanks you Dasha and Sophie and staff! Cheers, Michael & Annie
Friendly staff and a great location.Very dog friendly, all the staff made a fuss with my dog Diner and breakfast which was good value.
I loved the location, so easy to walk anywhere in central London or to catch a bus or tube ride.
The restaurant was so overpriced and not worth the money. Coming from far away, I didn’t want to spend time searching for a place to eat and headed to the restaurant but the options were all overpriced and disappointing, both for dinner and for breakfast. I also had a hard time opening my suitcase in the room, it was so small, not easy to move around. And the wait for the elevator was so annoying. They only had one working and there was always tons of people in line…
We were welcomed by Sophie, who was charming, helpful and very welcoming. The room was so beautiful, with comfy bed and everything you need. Thank you Sophie for being so attentive!
Nothing
I love staying at the Hoxton it’s always such a vibe and the people working are so lovely and kind. Tomi, Samuel, Nienke and Dasha all were so nice and welcoming - I always look forward to going back!
Not one to leave reviews usually, but I think this was the first time my partner and I stayed somewhere that wasnt just about the location or facilities. Of course, location and hotel were fantastic. But we fell in love with the service and people. Big thanks to Nina and the team at reception! We got a little room upgrade and it was perfect. They even remembered our plans and gave the best recommendations for brunch! And even bigger thank you to Luis at the bar. The drinks and keeping my drunk boyfriend laughing made a great night! Definitely will be back!
A complete let down. We booked through Amex at a higher price which included a complimentary upgrade when available. At check in, the receptionist with dark hair and blue eyes lied to us and said they were fully booked and no upgrade was possible. In fact, we checked there were plenty of rooms available for booking online.
Love bringing my godkids and their mum here forusually smart dining and good ambience. We were the sole diners at 6pm so should get brilliant service and chef to ourself. However I should have noticed early doors, waitress did not ask us for drink refills. We were all thirsty and had juices but then would have ordered cocktails and cokes but waitress did not engage with us. Then I should have noticed all fries prepared ahead of mains and sitting on warm counter. My medium rare fillet was served medium. My godkids poussin was dried out so overcooked, salmon was overcooked and singed but eaten by second godchild , poussin was left intact on plate. Pork also served overcooked but at least no health issues here. Shall leave this place alone and call it a foodand service disaster.
Great location
Great location, really helpful friendly staff, small but perfectly formed room with a really comfortable bed
Loved all of it, perfect for what we needed.
The location of the hotel is very convenient and the atmosphere is elevated and sophisticated. The team was very accommodating and friendly, especially Nienke who has been super nice.
Wonderful lounge downstairs, nice restaurant, bar. Excellent air conditioning on hot days. Comfortable bed, love that the bed was positioned to look out the windows. Excellent location, friendly and personable staff. Restaurant provides reasonably priced à la carte breakfast, and there are other breakfast options within walking distance.
The only thing I would change is that our room, probably the smallest, did not have anything to place suitcases on. So we had to open them up on the floor.

We were very kindly upgraded and given two free drinks to redeem at the bar. Check-in was lovely, thanks to Sophie, and the hand-written note was a lovely touch. The bed was so so comfortable and we’d definitely stay again. We visited in a heatwave and were so grateful for the air con in our room. We loved the water and milk in the fridge. It was definitely a plus to have a fridge in our room, something that’s often missing from hotel rooms now. As I have to store medication in the fridge, it made our trip less stressful. It was so easy for us to request a black cab to get back to the station, and the location was great for a trip to the theatre.
Nothing major comes to mind.
Location .
Nothing to dislike.
Location and the desk team Special a girl from Holand her name is Ginger or something like that and Tom
A bit small rooms
Fabulous location, great set up, fabulous food.
Fabulous location and lovely room (our Cosy Double was perfect for our short stay). Friendly and Efficient Check in and Departure, special mention for Sophie and her Sunny Disposition. Great choice of Breakfast in their Rondo Restaurant. All in all highly recommended.
Price on the high side but to be expected in Central London and probably returns value for money in the market place.
A small room, not comfortable. I wouldn't stay there again; the price is disproportionate.
Location
A small room, not Air, not comfortable. I wouldn't stay there again; the price is disproportionate. The Location is good
Staying here was such a great decision in order to explore and experience London! It was a short walk from the train stop coming from LHR airport. Immediately, we were helped by Sophie who was SO wonderful and accommodating. We were able to check in early with no problem. She wrote down all of her recommendations for the area in relation to what we usually prefer to do - vintage shopping, great food, and museums/history. We ended up getting a complimentary upgrade to our room which really made us feel special and looked out for to start our trip off. Location was perfect. It was tucked right into SoHo, but not so much that it was rowdy or too busy directly around the hotel, which is what we prefer. Walking only a couple of blocks we found ourselves in the midst of it all, in all directions. The room was clean and comfortable! The only thing I’d be mindful of is room cleaning; they stop service at 3pm every day so if you’d like to request a room turnover, just make sure it’s before 3pm. There was always security at the doors which just helped the place feel really looked out for and monitored as far as hotel guests. There is an ANALOG FILM BOOTH in the lobby!!!!!!!! It is so cool and we took a photo strip each day of our stay. Such an amazing detail for us to be able to opt into for a few pounds. Overall, would stay here again for sure. Great service.
Beautifully designed while still comfortable, great location
L’ambiance
La chambre était un peu petite
Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my overall experience at Hoxton. While the design and location are great, the service was disappointing, especially considering the price and the hotel’s positioning. There was no room-cleaning service, and no one informed me at check-in that cleaning was available only upon request. At the same time, there was no toilet brush in the room, which made the situation even more inconvenient. I also requested an iron and was told that none were available because they had all been given out to other guests.
Top drawer experience. Room was fantastic and the team were great. Tommy at reception is such a hero. Emma in Rondo was an absolute diamond, she's a real asset! Food was incredible. Beef skewers, bone marrow, pork belly - all to die for.
Solo trip for an event held in house, I booked an extra night stay. The location here is perfect for exploring Covent Garden , Drury Lane , Seven Dials .. etc , also great location , with station/stops nearby, to travel across London by tube and bus . My 'shoebox' room was more than adequate , comfy, clean well equipped . The welcome you receive here is comfortably personal and reception staff are most helpful ( shout out to Tomi who tirelessly advised me and let me know how to best use the Hoxton facilities , to suit my solo travel, Thank you ..of course, its central London, so some nightly rates are at premium , the addition of dynamic pricing which can reduce costs as your stay gets nearer and the deals for weekend stays, if available, are great with a Credit added to your room for Bar and Restaurant . Rooms are quiet and room service offered ( breakfast options are casual, easy order and good value )
I booked this hotel because my sister had stayed here before. Travelers should know that it is a wonderful location right next to a tube station. The decor is very trendy and hip, the rooms are very small, but all you need for one person. The biggest downside to this hotel for us was the community lobby. Each day, morning, noon and night, the lobby was filled with people that were studying and working or simply hanging out. It was very difficult to find a place to sit. It was difficult to find a place at the bar. It was difficult to find a seat to eat.. If you want a restaurant where you feel like you have a safe Haven to come in after a long day and relax, this is not the place. For the price we paid, I did not expect this type of lobby experience.
The location is fantastic
Bit expensive for such a small space
Great location - walkable to the British Museum and Covent Garden, ,and a tube stop at the next intersection. The hotel's decor is beautiful and trendy. It definitely attracts a younger crowd and the lobby and restaurant are busy places. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful.
Hotel was chic, hip and location was amazing. Great experience all around, very accommodating (laundry, extra towels, light switch issue that was quickly remedied). Nienka and Sophie at the front desk were gracious and helpful (late checkout, car to airport). Would book again!
I will stay at this hotel again. The moment I connected with Sophie via email I knew that I had made the right choice. The hospitality was great! The location is perfect. It is close to so many theatres, restaurants and the tube is just around the corner
If you’re in Holborn and you want to plug in your laptop and do your business in trendy comfortable surroundings with a chic ambience. Then. Come on down. If you are a resident you will have to compete for a sofa or comfortable armchair with those who are nursing a single coffee or worse, simply using the free water supplied ad libitum. Don’t hold your breath waiting for a luxurious seat as a resident, there are many more non-residents waiting to pounce.
Great location (can walk to my London office) and friendly staff. Room is not only tiny but barely any space for storing anything. Lobby is like a busy WeWork almost 18 hours a day. It is getting tiresome.
Really enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Thank Nienke and team
