MyRoomz New Discovery Hotel

Hot water for shower everytime!. Clean towels provided soap etc if needed. Great WiFi. Clean bedding. Peter was brilliant. Location 2 minutes from St Chad's tram stop. Plenty of brew kit when ya need it, can help yourself as and when! It is a budget place so just expect what you do, all depends what your trip is needed for to be honest or expectations. My stay was mainly for pleasure beach, no specific or special event and to get away. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe which is a big issue for me but I knew Peter would be around if needed.

New mattress needed ttb and yes a few issues here and there lol but I knew or had an idea when booking a budget place, but based on my stay, reason, my budget at this time, hot water, shower, Peter, brew kit, clean bedding solo traveller I would recommend

Good location, short walk from the pleasure beach. Lots of toiletries etc. Very helpful and friendly staff with good communication.

Everything is extremely old and in need of renovation but you expect that from the price. As long as you are not anticipating somewhere new and sparkly clean then you'll feel safe and comfortable enough for a short stay

Excellent location only 5 minutes walk to be the sea front, room was a good size and we were met by a lovely gentleman called Peter whi showed us to our room

Not the cleanest hotel and had the very strong musty smell throughout. The bed sheets were very worn and decor is extremely poor. Wouldn’t stay here again. Only stayed as was one of very few hotels that could accommodate our party size at short notice (2 hours before check-in) after our previous booking had cancelled on us.

Cleanliness was horrific and shouldn't be able to rent out the room. Cigarette ash on window sill. Full of damp and mould. Bedding was brown. Absolutely disgusting and the guy who is the manager has no customer service skills what so ever. Highly rude and grumpy made us all feel uneasy.

The hotel proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. He was extremely helpful and amenable, gave us plenty of useful information, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The double bed was also very comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep.

The hotel could perhaps benefit from a little updating and redecoration in places, and we felt the overall standard of cleanliness could have been slightly better. That said, these are relatively small improvements that would make a real difference to what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

The owner was very polite and helpful and friendly in fact my children wanted to say hello and good night every day. He had lots of spare supplies to help yourself to for your room, it was fairly quiet and when there was noise he was straight on it making sure it was kept down. He gave me helpful suggestions on where to eat and drink and visit with the children.

The room was a little warm but it was a heatwave but a fan would have been good. Also the shower soaked the floor even with the door shut but it was easily cleaned up. And for some reason the WiFi password wouldn't work for me.

Great host, very helpful. Location was spot on for me. Theres a convenience store at the corner too. Room was nice. Pretty much what I was looking for. The matress could be better in all honesty, but it was a convenient and comfortable stay, and peaceful.

Just the mattress wasnt great but I only stayed for 1 night.

Literally everything. I was working in the area and wanted a bed and a shower for 3 nights. I read the reviews and most said passable and good. I thought what could go wrong. Location: run down street. Building falling apart. Cleanliness: one of the dirtiest smelliest rooms ive been in. Price: it was priced similar to properties close by, and I thought closer to the beach so maybe I could go for a walk. After I seen the property, I wouldn't even stay there for free. Not even if u pay me. Mattress: 2 springs covered with a cloth. Room size: 2m x 2m box room with a closet for a toilet. Everytime someone in the above rooms flushed the toilet, I could hear the WATER splash outside my window, splash on the actual room of the rooms underneath. I had to keep turning the shower off every 2 secs because it was flooding the toilet I couldnt sleep all night. Kept itching my skin off. Went and stayed in the car until roughly around midnight until I couldnt keep my eyes on. Want back to room and tried to sleep on my towel until the very early hours. Left and never came back. Paid for 3 nights and stated few hours. I dont know whats worse. The fact that rooms like this still exists on booking.com or that people expectations and standards are soo low and a room like this can now be passable.

Upon checking in, my little boy and I were greeted by the host, Peter. He was very kind, polite and helpful. He offered to help us with our luggage, showed us to our room, and told us to help ourselves to the guest supplies downstairs in the check-in area if we ran out of anything, such as toilet tissue, without any unnecessary embarrassment. Peter was very sweet towards my little boy, offered smiles and kind words. He is definitely the credit to the hotel. Room was fairly spacious, for such a low budget it was very clean and smelled fresh and had everything we needed. WiFi was very good, I cannot comment on TV as we didn't use it, we don't watch TV. Location was perfect, we could see the sea from our window, 6 mins to Home Bargains, opposite the hotel there's breakfast cafe, off licences and any take aways all nearby. We will be coming back for sure, one of the best stays for us at very affordable price.

Absoulutly nothing the manager was really rude about my son that has special needs and then was really rude to my partner. We ended up leaving at night.time with 3 of our children and spending more money on a b and b as we were that uncomfortable and on edge. The room was dirty and falling bits and had mould and wasnt safe at all. On a whole it was awful

It as clean, it was very small, really just paying for the Room. It was clean and quiet, the guy was a bit grumpy to start but he mellowed out, ok! For the price I would possibly stay again. Don't forget it was the cheapest hotel for a night.

They need to revamp the from it was dirty with plenty of chipped paint, clean the sign with soapy water.had me worried when I approached it.

Der var ikke skiftet sengetøj, det gjorde jeg så selv, indeni var der en ulækker dyne og ulækre puder, som burde være vasket for år tilbage eller smidt ud. Der er meget snavset og skimmelsvamp, simpelthen sundhedsskadeligt. Jeg gjorde rent flere steder. Man behøver ikke åbne vinduet, for det kan ikke lukke og der var meget koldt. Bruseren kunne jeg heller ikke få til at virke. Der er billigt, men ikke pengene værd. Der var også gæster, som røg cannabis. Heftig rengøring og vedligeholdelse vil gøre det ok igen.

The room was dirty, needed painting and updating. The bed was clean and comfortable. It would be nice if it was updated throughout and more amenities. At the minute I wouldn't recommend to my friends or family.

The owner wasn't helpful at all. I left a day early as the bed was so uncomfortable. I had snide remarks when I got there, commenting on the luggage I have. When I first spoke to Peter to say I was disabled the message I received back wasn't helpful. I sent a message to ask how to turn the heating off or if he could do it for me and was totally ignored. The following day I went out in my car and when I came back there was no space, I rang peter to ask if there was somewhere safe to park my car close by and the answer I got was I told you when you arrived dont move the car. I then explained I needed the car for me to go out to then be told I'm not a carpark warden I cant just move cars around to suit you. I was travelling alone and had to ring home as I was so upset. I rang peter the day I left he was rude on the phone when I said I was leavingsaid just leave the key in the door and put the phone down. Needless to say I will not go back there and would warn everyone else to stay anywhere but here. Kettle leaked everywhere and tiny tv did not work.

2 minute walk down to sea front. Walking distance to attractions. 3 days in blackpool, walked everywhere, car never used. Close to central pier, 12 minute walk. Owner friendly, polite, professional and knowledgeable.
