Hoi An Dat Cam Homestay

We booked this homestay last minute when our original accommodations was overbooked. The host's were very responsive and able to accommodate a very last minute arrival. The room was clean and comfy.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist perfekt - Kernzentrum und Market in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Bei einer nächtlichen Bootsfahrt mit Lampions sollte man allerdings auf den ausgemachten Preis bestehen- der Bootsführer wollte auf halber Strecke plötzlich das Doppelte - was er aber von mir nicht bekam.Bitte nicht einschüchtern lassen und ebenso energisch bleiben! 😉 Etwas außerhalb von Hoi An gibt es einen schönen Strand, der mit einem Grab Car schnell und günstig zu erreichen ist .

Leider gab es nur Frühstück auf Bestellung am Vorabend und die Auswahl war leider sehr einseitig ( Omlett - 1 Stück Brot und etwas Obst) Kaffee musste man separat bestellen.

The customer service was amazing. Host had great recommendations for stuff to do in Hoi An and we even went to a tailor she recommended (her sister) and loved her work so much me and the misso got our wedding clothes made by her. The location is spot on as well. Reallt close to old town but being on the other side of bridge keeps it less packed. Honestly could not recommend this place any more ! 5*****

The owner was very friendly and it was quiet and close to old Town.

The room could be a little bit more charming. The balcony was also not really inviting you. There was no water or coffee maker, which I had in all the other places in Vietnam.

Unfassbar liebe, respektvolle Vermieter, besonders Ha ist so eine nette Dame! Uns wurde bei allen Anliegen wie Transport, Fahrrädern ausleihen und anderen Empfehlungen sehr geholfen. Das sehr reichhaltige Frühstück kann immer am Vortag aus einer Liste gewählt werden wie Omelette oder örtlichen Nudelgerichten. Diese werden dann frisch zubereitet, zwischendurch bekamen wir auch noch kostenlos extra Fruchtteller! Zimmer war in Ordnung. Lage ist etwas abseits des großen Trubels, was sehr angenehm war, in der Altstadt ist man zu Fuß trotzdem sehr schnell. Preis-Leistung mehr wie übertroffen!

La simplicité d'être comme à la maison. Une famille charmante, la été, la fille et le bébé à venir vous accueille de façon charmante. La chambre est vaste. Des commerces, bars et un restaurant excellent et à prix doux. Le tout au calme mais près du marché et de la foule. On vous propose à tarif correct le transfert vers Da Nang et vous pouvez louer un scooter. Bref un endroit charmant et familial. Je recommande.

Rien. Pour l'amélioration, peut-être un petit frigo ou un commun mis à disposition pour avoir de l'eau fraîche. Mais c'est un détail.

Verbraucherteuschung. 8 von 10 Punkten, weil die angegebene Größe von 38 und 33 Quadratmeter von beiden gebuchten Hotelzimmern war exakt die Hälfte. Und die Kissen waren zu hart.

Such a pleasant stay! My room was large and very clean, the location was wonderful to walk to the shopping area in old city, and Ngoc was a fabulous host. When I mentioned needing some outfits for a wedding I was attending she brought me to her sister's tailor shop in the market, and we had a blast co-designing some clothes! They turned out beautifully. It was such a special experience.

Occasionally there wouldn’t be anyone on reception but they gave us a number on WhatsApp and I could always reach them.

- Wonderful family who run the Homestay with warmth! - they kindly stored our luggage for us for several days while we did a motorbike tour, which was very kind and extremely helpful - breakfast was basic but delicious and they offer multiple choices - wonderful location just a short walk away to the old town while being in a quieter neighborhood - quiet for being right in the city. There is loud music from a nearby bar or restaurant but it never went past 10. Down a side street so no honking!

- the bed was the most uncomfortable I have had in 6 months of traveling SE Asia. It is a spring mattress and if you are sleeping with a partner, you will feel every movement. It is also very loud. - the room needs a good clean in the corners. There were many spiders in the upper corners. The main portions of the room itself was clean but the corners need to be addressed

L’emplacement : un tout petit peu en retrait du centre-ville hyper touristique (5min à pied, il suffit de traverser le pont) ce qui permet de ne pas avoir les nuisances sonores extérieures. Sur l’île, tout près du logement, il y a des petits restaurants vietnamiens vraiment top et à des prix tout à fait corrects (pas des prix pour touristes…) La gentillesse, la disponibilité de l’hôte qui est toujours prête à aider et à faciliter le séjour à Hoi An La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et propre, tout était fonctionnel (eau chaude, bonne pression dans la douche, climatisation, confort du lit…)

J’étais au rez-de-chaussée et par moment, ça peut être bruyant notamment au moment du petit déjeuner ou bien le soir quand la famille de l’hôte allume la TV avec un volume assez élevé, par exemple

L’emplacement est idéal. Il est possible de louer une moto directement sur place, et un service de blanchisserie est également proposé. La chambre située au dernier étage était particulièrement calme et spacieuse. La famille est très accueillante. Il est aussi possible de prendre un petit-déjeuner, qui est bien complet et varié. Je recommande vivement

Thats a good value place close to the old town, but very quiet. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. They provide a good breakfast and they made tour, car to the hotel and bike reservations to us for reasonable price. The room was clean.

Een hele fijne accommodatie met zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaressen. De kamer was schoon en het bed lag lekker. We hebben onze was hier ook laten doen en ze hebben flink hun best gedaan om onze witte sokken weer wit te maken. Ook hadden we problemen met de boeking van onze nachtbus naar de volgende stad via 12go en hebben dankzij de eigenaresse dezelfde nacht toch nog een andere busrit weten te krijgen. We zijn de eigenaressen erg dankbaar voor het fijne verblijf die we bij hun hebben gehad. De locatie was ook ideaal. In 5 minuten was je in de old town.

Location just over the river from old town. We got a good recommendation about the market from staff. There were facilities organising trips etc that we didn't use.

It is a homestay rather than hotel so missing classic hotel things like things in minibar, no kettle in room. Somewhat dated decor.

We LOVE Hoi An Dat Cam Homestay! This was my second time staying here - the location is excellent, the rooms spotless, and the breakfast delicious! Best of all the homestay is run by the nicest family - always kind and helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet but just a stone's throw away from everything Hoi An has to offer. I highly recommend this homestay - it's the best value in Hoi An!

Just enough away from the busy tourist area for quiet nights but short walk over the bridge to the main town.

We loved the location of the property, we could walk everywhere. We also really loved the hospitality from the staff members, everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Really homely feeling here and the owners made me and my girlfriend Meg feel so welcome. The small neighbourhood just outside of the busy old town is really nice and a good break from the hustle and bustle. They offer advice, transport options, tour options, and the family's relatives own a tailor shop so that solves the problem of finding a good one! I can only recommend you stay here, it's well worth the price and you can easily see everything you need whilst being on the quieter side of the bridge.

The area around the homestay is quiet and peaceful, but still close to the busy historic part of town. The price is very reasonable. The room was spacious and included a refrigerator and a bathroom. The window allowed plenty of sunlight into the room, and the air conditioner worked perfectly to keep us cool. I really liked how the homestay felt like we were visiting a family friend, rather than staying at a hotel. The customer service is fantastic. The daughter welcomed us when we arrived and was happy to share information about the town. She also helped us when our driver was unable to find the homestay. The mother was also very friendly and helpful, even though she couldn't speak much English.

It is difficult for me to find things I didn't like. I would have liked more space for sitting in the lobby. When we waited for our driver with our luggage, it felt cramped. This is a small thing.

Staying here was an absolute pleasure. The room we stayed in was very clean/spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well sized as well as having good shower pressure. The room also had air conditioning + fan which kept us very cool. The location was fantastic, close to everything we needed but far enough away that we got a peaceful nights sleep. A final massive thank you to both the hostess’ they were fantastic at advising/booking anything asked for.

Very well located homestay, clean and comfortable beds. We had a lovely welcoming.

We didn't feel the owners were the most accommodating. The laundry was expensive for them to do and takes nearly 24 hours to be done. Towards the end we felt there were some misunderstandings so it is important here to communicate everything very clearly. They are very nice but also make you feel (along with the whole of Hoi An) that they want your money wherever they can. Keep this in mind in general when visiting Hoi An.

I had a really good time here! Nice and spacey room, with a comfy bed. Everything was really clean too. Great location! Only 5 min walk from the old town, but located in a more quiet area. The people of the homestay are the nicest people! Ruby was a great help with booking transportation, as well as arranging a good tailor. And she makes great pancakes😋 I would definitely recommend to stay here!

Perfect localisation close the city centre but in a peaceful neighbourhood. Amazing hospitality and kindness, arranged the bikes for us and the bus to Hue. Heartily recommend.

The host was incredible. She did everything for us. She organised a cooking class for us. She washed our clothes. And she allowed us to check in earlier. She also organised Scooter hire for us. All these things come at an expense but it was so convenient. The accommodation was very clean large and had everything we needed. It was in an excellent location just over the bridge so very short walk from the market and the centre. We didn’t want to leave.

Our bed was very squeaky every time we moved, which was a bit unfortunate. But it was a large super size.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay near Hoi An old quarter, I 100% recommend this place. My partner and I stayed for 10 days. Everything was perfect, the homestay is just 5min away from the old quarter, but it's on the other side of a bridge, in a really calm area. Everyone in the family is adorable and very welcoming, we really felt at home and felt sad to leave! We stayed a month in Vietnam and this is the cleanest place we've stayed at. They prepare a lovely breakfast for you, also they can arrange airport pickup, also some activities and tours. If we ever get the chance to visit Hoi An again, we will book with them again!

During rainy season, the rising of the water level won't affect this place which is a huge sigh of relief when we saw other places were flooded at the basement. As the location is just next to the school, we enjoy the energy by the students when they have breakfast along the alley before going into the school compound. You won't be able to hear the noise of the school if you are wondering. They provide laundry service 40k per kg, collect within 12 hours There is a minimart (winmart) nearby and cheap and good food nearby. (Do try the traditional vietnamese dessert at the stall near the bridge, under the tree) Room and toilet is spacious, bed is clean. Simple Breakfast is available 50k as needed

What can you don’t like about cheap and nice homestay

The room was clean and tidy when we arrived, even though we checked in earlier than expected. The air conditioning functioned properly, and the bathroom was well-maintained with all the essentials we needed.

There is a kind of scam as they promote a place where we can get clothing to fit you and actually the daughter of the owner takes me over to her sister's shop and , unfortunately I caught up and paying $60 for a just a basic material and where you could buy the whole thing less than $ from market or any shop Please be warned and aware of this
