Very important -- very clean ; excellent cooked breakfast with lost of choice -- cereal, yoghurt , fruit , toast et al. Very good value

Excellent breakfast prepared by Jamina. Clean room and comfortable bed. We worried about noise from the street but the newer windows dampened whatever there was. The hotel front door was opposite the head of our bed and there is a "Don't let the door slam" sign for a reason. Fortunately there were only a few coming and going in this small hotel.

Minor issue with slow draining in the shower. No accessible outlet at the bed to charge a phone. We chose to remain on the ground floor due to the steep stairs.

Breakfast was very good and available when I requested it

Clean room, well furnished, friendly host , handy for buses, 10 min walk to train station, straight into Waterloo, or Hampton court. The added bonus was free parking right outside the door. Will be using Warwick lodge again. nice pub and a very good Indian restaurant Just down the road.

Shower cubicle was a bit on the small size bit of a problem if you dropped your soap, but there was plenty of hot water

Overall the room and the hotel. It was perfect for what I was looking for.

The fan that I was using to sleep kept making a horrible noise which kept waking me up and affected my rest time. I don't think this was anyone's fault but on one occasion when I visited the toilet I was disturb by a big spider and took a little herculean effort to dispose of it.

Good location and price compared to other choices. We only needed an overnight to attend a funeral so it was fine for us. We were offered a choice of ground floor or upstairs rooms. There is parking outside the property and if it’s full, you can park in the bus lane outside the hours of 4-7pm. We did this and were a bit nervous about it but all was fine. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was really good! There were major shops and places to eat within walking distance, although we didn’t explore them.

Having chosen an upstairs room because we wanted to be quieter, our room was a little quirky - technically a family room with a double and single, but the double was pushed against the wall with a table at the foot, so whoever is on the inside has nowhere to put things like nighttime water, plus it was hard to crawl out in the night! Yes, we could have utilised the other bed, but we had booked a double not twin. Just the luck of the draw and it was only one night.

In de kamers aan de straatkant veel last van geluid van de drukke weg. Misschien wel goed te vermelden dat hotel aan een drukke weg ligt. Ontbijt viel tegen, beperkt aanbod. Geen verse broodjes en weinig divers beleg.

The owners are very friendly and hospitable, allowed me to park and access room very early so that I could get to a family lunch. Room was clean and beds comfortable, best sleep in months! And even though I was basically 'in the attic' during a heatwave it was cool and airy. Breakfast always defeats me, but freshly cooked and tasty - just me that couldn't manage! Thoroughly recommend this guesthouse.

I'll be honest, the final staircase was a challenge for me. I'm mobile, but with a dodgy hip it was difficult. Might want to warn guests about it.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower worked well. The breakfast was both hot and cereal buffet and plentiful. We could park right outside the door. The couple who looked after us were warm, friendly and helpful.

Within the budgets of the area asking for more would have been inappropriate. It was good value.

Great value for money and a lovely was waiting as I arrived quite late.

I'd liked the room. I like how there was a fan that really helped me sleep (Especially in this current heat we are getting) and the space of the room and that I could watch YouTube as I was getting ready to go out or go to sleep. Really appropriate.

It wasn't the worst-case scenario or the worst thing ever but just to go to another section of the hotel to have a shower and then can only dress in there because of that reason. It wasn't the end of the world.

Room was clean and had everything we required. The bed was a bit firm but we had a decent nights sleep. Nice cooked breakfast in the morning , there was cereals, yogurts etc' if required. Nice garden area to the rear of the property.

From the time we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed & as it was a hot weekend an electric fan had already been set up. The bonus was it was a silent one 😊

Owners, staff have always been happy to accommodate requests such as extremely early check in.

Nothing in regards to the property, my comment regarding not romantic place to stay is to do with the area and again not the property.

The host was very friendly, the room was nice and the fan was a bonus as there was a heatwave. The place was clean and wifi worked well. Very well conected busstop close to the place.

The bed was very uncomfortable , it was rock hard. The room was a bit on the small side for 2 and 2 travel bags.

I think we probably had the smallest and hottest room by far (considering it was one of the hottest days ever for May). The temperature, in general, on the 3'rd level was significantly higher than the "cooler" 1st 2 levels. The fan in our room was also very ineffective.

Onsite parking. Location for access to Railway Station.

The room was tiny, impossible to get down one side of the bed to the fitted wardrobe, barely room for one person let alone two. The smallest double bed I have ever seen. Bedside lights would not work. Breakfast was abysmal, no care taken in preparation. Scrambled egg was dreadful, not mixed enough, tasteless and dry. Poached eggs served floating in the yoke of one egg, presentation appalling. Sausages were disgusting.

The welcome was perfunctory. The reception person was not interested in pleasantries or giving a warm welcome - I’d commented on what a long journey I’d had but their response was just about payment and check out time.

Location good, free parking. TV could sign in to own streaming profiles. English breakfast was good. Low price compared to other options in the area.

Bedding was quite basic, just two pillows with no spares in the room if you would prefer two. 1970 furniture & decor. No heating on though the weather had cooled off.

The location was excellent. The included breakfast was very good quality and there was a good selection of food and drinks

My room was at the front of the property so I could hear the traffic. The windows could be triple glazed in order to help with this, plus there could be blinds on the windows to prevent light coming through the curtains.

All 3 of us are covered in flea bites! The rooms were at the front and it was very noisy busy road we hardly slept. Very strange smell in the hotel and dining room.

Good that it had free parking. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. In a room at the back so it was very quiet. Close to a bus stop and a co op store. Good there was a kettle and free tea and coffee. The shower was great, hot and powerful too.

Could have done with an extra towel as ladies like to tie up wet hair while using a main towel. Also somewhere in the shower cubicle to put your shampoo etc instead of on the floor. Also a second pillow would have been good.

We knew that there was a shared bathroom but we didn’t know it was shared between 5 rooms. It didn’t matter as we didn’t see or hear any other guests.

La signora è stata gentilissima, ci è piaciuta la varietà della colazione sia dolce che salata. Il posto molto pulito e accogliente, con arredamento tipico inglese. Lo consiglierei!
