Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Strong WiFi, I connected all my devices and it was running smoothly. Hot water everytime. Staff is friendly and responsive. The hotel was closer to wherever I wanted to go to. The breakfast was scrumptious, not so many options but yoh everything was delicious.
No bar fridge. Have to request for iron. The carpets are dirty. The sheet from the 1st night had stain.

May be the hotel should consider the bar fridge and the microwave so that guest won't bother the kitchen staff ,if they want to warm their food.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Nothing. Which is disappointing because it was nit my first time here, and I liked it enough to come back but that was a mistake.
1. Reception. It felt like I was inconveniencing the lady who was checking us in. I don't expect staff to be all rainbows and sunshine but as a host, your job is to make people feel welcoming and the treatment I got was not at all welcoming. After a long journey, I was looking forward to checking in but was immediately disappointed. 2. There was this horrif smell which they unsuccessfully tried to mask with an ungodly amount of room spray. You could smell it from the moment you walked in, all through reception and to our room. 3. There was a large group of guests who ever very loud and rowdy in the reception area as well as in the hallways and staff made no attempts to quieten them down. 4. Carpet in the room has an odour of its own. These reasons among many others were enough to make us cancel the rest of our stay and book somewhere else. When we tried to cancel, the process took forever. The lady at reception demanded to know the reason why we wanted to check out the next morning. Canceling was inconvenient and ended up costing more financially, but for the sake of feeling safe and comfortable, it was worth it.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026My stay was disappointing. The breakfast was cold, the serving station was unclean, and I had to ask reception to have it cleaned. The bacon was also burnt and hard. I was not informed that dinner was only available to guests who had pre-ordered or stayed the previous night, which was frustrating as it was my first visit. The sleeper couch was dirty and had a toothpick between the cushions, posing a potential safety risk to my children. Lastly, the staff, including the reception team, were not welcoming or friendly. Overall, the service and cleanliness did not meet my expectations.
I was particularly disappointed, as I expected the same high standard of service and hospitality typically associated with Southern Sun. Unfortunately, my experience fell well short of those expectations.

I went reception and i was told that it could be a pump which defective.. The staff knows of the problem but nothing is being done to rectify it . i call to speak to manager to no success. I will never set my foot to this hotel
