Breakfast buffet was delicious, staff was very attentive and we enjoyed the bar.

The staff at this hotel couldn’t have been nicer. They went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The spot is such a oasis in Venice. It’s a great location for seeing the sites and very quiet if you’re looking to just sleep well. It’s also close to a lot of interesting activities. The staff were all very friendly and fluent in my language, which I appreciated. Venice is very used to Taurus coming through, so it’s not hard to find people that speak your language. I can tell that this hotel is very comfortable even when it gets really hot. They had a nice breakfast as well that was included in the stay. I would definitely consider returning. The rooms are also quite large.

The property is gorgeous and clean, and rooms were very comfortable. Location is very close to Piazzale Roma, which was convenient since we were only here for 1 night. The staff were excellent. They helped us book a private transfer and walked us to the dock. They even packed us a breakfast box since we had to leave very early.

Excellent location, not far from the parking area at the entrance to the city. Very clean, in a pleasant and quiet area. Wonderful breakfast, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

This was our third stay at this hotel, and everything was great again. We really like the cleanliness, spacious showers, nice wooden floors and the thoughtful amenities, especially the wonderfully soft slippers. A special thank you to the lovely lady working at breakfast. She was warm and attentive, and made an excellent latte. The location is convenient, and as always, we would happily recommend this hotel.

The only thing we would suggest is using proper duvet covers instead of placing the duvet between two loose sheets.

Thank you so much for this wonderful stay! Above all, we felt so comfortable and at home thanks to Anna, the charming breakfast staff member. Unfortunately, the paid additional service was very disappointing. We arranged both our arrival and departure by water taxi through the hotel. However, we find it incomprehensible that the arrival cost an unbelievable €260 (!!!) when the return trip, the same route, only cost €180. When I complained about that, the Hotel explained the price difference by claiming that someone was supposed to have been waiting for us upon arrival. That was, however, by no means the case. 1) The person we apparently had to pay extra for wasn't at the agreed meeting point. The meeting point was clearly described in the WhatsApp message. We were there. The driver was not. We even sent the driver a photo. When he arrived, he said we were in the wrong place. Which was not the case. After I showed him the WhatsApp chat history, he just mumbled something to himself. No word of sorry. (I'd be happy to send you the chat history.) 2) The boat wasn't there either. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes. It wasn't a tragedy, but it wasn't worth the extra cost since nothing went right. When we booked the boat ourselves through a provider on our last visit to Venice, it cost €160, the driver texted us which pier he was waiting, and everything was like agreed. The boat AND driver were waiting for us at the pier. Therefore, I won't be booking this kind of service through the hotel in the future. I'm willing to pay for extra service, but then that extra service has to be provided. I would have expected a refund of the price difference for the boat, since nothing went according to what was agreed and paid for, but that was not offered.

We loved this wonderful hotel in the Santa Croce area and wished that we could have stayed longer. Our room was stunning, peaceful, beautifully decorated and really had the wow factor. There was a very atmospheric bar area in the courtyard which was really pretty. Breakfast was really nice with everything you could ask for, including soft boiled eggs done to perfection. Many thanks to the lovely receptionist from Sardinia (sorry don't know her name) for keeping us supplied with cool drinks on a very hot day while we were waiting for our room to be ready. There are some nice non-touristy restaurants close by.

Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. Very easy walk from the train and bus station. 3 small bridges to cross, 2 with stairs and 1 with a ramp. No cobblestones so easy to push luggage. Lots of little restaurants and cafe within a few steps. Room was beautiful and clean. Staff were fantastic!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Santa Croce Boutique Hotel. Even though our English is not very good, the staff always did their best to help us. We would especially like to thank the wonderful lady at the reception for her kindness, patience, and warm hospitality. She made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. All the hotel staff were friendly and professional. It was a fantastic experience for me and my family, and we would be delighted to stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is a good option if you would like to stay in a quiet square. It's a short walk from the train station, although I recommend getting a porter if you have a lot of luggage. There are a lot of local dining options nearby. It's a 20-25 minute walk to Piazza San Marco, this is either a bug or a feature depending on your point of view. Highly recommend.

What a great location! Just a couple of minutes from the grand Canal and Venice train station, this gem of a hotel is tucked into a residential area, avoiding the major tourist routes. There was a beautiful enclosed garden for us to enjoy an impressive breakfast buffet, including cooked eggs, as well as a place for the perfect aperitvo provided by the hotel bar staff. We found this to be a perfect location to explore all of Venice, whether we walked to the main tourist sites or took a water taxi. I would definitely book this hotel again for my next trip to Venice.

I would’ve loved to have had a coffee maker in the room, but that is the only thing I could think of. Everything else was perfect.

Perfekte Lage zwischen Bahnhof und den Vaporettos, bzw. den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zu Fuß war alles gut erreichbar. Nettes Lokal mit Gastgarten für den Abend zu sehr moderaten Preisen in 50m Entfernung. Die Dusche am Zimmer war der Überhammer. Das Bett großzügig und bequem. Ich würde dort wieder buchen bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel hatte einen kleinen Garten mit Schirmen und Barservice, alles sehr nett, aber keine italienische Musik, eher moderner Beat, wo immer der selbe Rhythmus aus den Lautsprechern dröhnt. Ist aber vielleicht eine Generationenfrage. Wir hätten bei der richtigen Musik dort sicher mehr Zeit verbracht und konsumiert. Glücklicherweise war um 23.00 Uhr die Musik aus. Die Klimaanlage hat alles sehr stark gekühlt. Wir schalteten sie sogar aus, nach 3h am Abend lief sie wieder, es hatte 21,7 Grad C. Wir schalteten sie wieder aus und öffneten die Fenster zum Aufwärmen. Das ganze Hotel kalt, auch der Gang, als ob Energie nichts kostet.

Café da manhã fantástico, equipe muito solícita e cordial, muito atenciosos. O hotel é realmente estilo boutique, com todos os detalhes muito bem pensados. O único porém é para chegar ao hotel, quem tiver uma bagagem mais pesada vai precisar contratar um carregador na estação, uma vez que Veneza não é nem um pouco acessível em termos de locomoção, as pontes têm degraus e isso atrapalha o viajante.

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet neighborhood only a short walk from the train station. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Especially noteworthy were Veronica at reception, Elia the bartender, and the women serving breakfast.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Nous avions la chambre 202 qui était très bien aménagée, fonctionnelle avec de bonnes prestations. Le personnel est top et à l'écoute. Les petits déjeuners sont avec des produits de qualité et diversifié. Très bon emplacement géographique avec de bons restaurants typiques biens notés sur Google...il faut les chercher, mais on les trouve.

The staff were the friendliest we encountered out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy. Elia, the bartender, was especially great walking us to the gondola ride and introducing us to his local friend's restaurant. The front desk lady was really nice and helpful booking our water taxi to the airport. I liked that the neighborhood was off the beaten path from the main touristy stuff, was very peaceful.

We loved everything about this boutique hotel. Booked a junior suite, the room was a good size, the shower was amazing and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we had in Europe. From the time we checked-in until we left, the staff were exceptional. Will stay here again

OK so we did really enjoy our stay at this hotel. Truly. It's a delight. It's not on a canal, but sometimes those can be more noise and bother than they appear to be. The breakfast is splendid, the room was super comfortable as was the quality of sleep. Nice bed, good bathroom and with choice amenities. However only AFTER we were asked to pay our bill in full at check-in, were we casually informed that there would be no power OR WATER for the entire next day! The letter from management said from 8:30am until 4:30pm. But on returning the next day at 5pm, on an unseasonably sweltering afternoon, the hotel was still dark and the taps were empty. Unable to predict when the power might be reconnected the staff seemed completely surprised at our dismay and disappointment with no options to offer us. After another hour in the dark we finally convinced them arrange for alternative accommodation. So we packed our bags and of course, then the lights turned on again. So we unpacked again and a half hour later - the lights went out again! Anyway, all's well that ends well and completed our stay in this delightful hotel, but I do hope that their management empowers them to more proactively handle issues of this magnitude as they are bound to arise again.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. Our room was not very large but it was beautifully appointed, as was the bathroom. I would definitely stay there again if we return to Venice.

Es ist ein sehr nettes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Kleines aber feines Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr gute lage um Venedig zu erkunden. Da es etwas abseits vom Zentrum liegt, gab es auch keine Touristenströme.

Beim Zimmer unserer Kinder war leider die Aussicht durch eine Mauer verstellt. Dadurch mußte immer das Licht aufgedreht werden.

Aircon would come on to decrease the temperature and then go off again, happened all throughout the nice and blew right on our heads. Should be keeping a consistent temperature rather than turning off and on again every 5 minutes.

Before we even stepped foot in the door, I was impressed by this hotel. I had many questions regarding our stay, transportation, and tickets to attractions. Each email I sent was answered quickly with useful information. Once we arrived, we were greeted warmly. The rooms were not ready so they stored our bags and the bags were waiting in our room when we returned to check in. The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection of foods and the staff were very attentive and engaging. We even stopped into the bar one night to grab a hot drink. The bartender created a cozy spot for us, made our drinks and brought us a snack. Speaking of snacks, this is one of the only hotels I ever stayed at where the snacks and drinks in the room where complimentary; a very nice touch. The staff here treated us so well. Additionally, the location is ideal. It is away from the noise and crowds yet close to transportation and easily walkable to the Vaporetto and/or site of interest. I highly recommend the Santa Croce Boutique Hotel and would definitely stay there again.

La musique tard le soir dans le jardin. L’odeur des draps très très forte, c’est limite rédhibitoire, vraiment désagréable pour moi, cela m’a beaucoup beaucoup gêné la première nuit et c’est estompé progressivement. Il manque de quoi prendre une tisane un thé ou un café en chambre, pour une suite junior, cela manque vraiment. Le bruit de la Clim!

Jolie chambre, grande salle de bains, personnel super et très agréable, petit-déjeuner varié et bon. Je mettrais 9.5/10 (mais comme on ne peut pas ce sera 10)

Staff was attentive and prompt. Tina even remembered us the next day and knew which coffee each of us preferred (party of 4).

Would've preferred two keys for the room since the card controlled the lights. Also the vanity is rather small, not much room for keeping makeup and toiletries. Also wish that the bedding was better quality and didn't have a strong detergent smell. Pillows and blanket felt plastic.

Absolute gem of a hotel, with excellent staff. Everyone was very professional and welcoming starting from the reception staff, to the lovely ladies serving high quality breakfast with a smile, to the staff maintaining the room impeccably clean every day. Found by chance but will not look for another hotel when we visit Venice again.

We booked this hotel for one night for May back in January. My husband stayed here last summer and loved it. We were very surprised then, when we checked in and were shown our room, a door with no number, up some steep stairs to the bed tucked under the attic eaves where you are almost guaranteed to hit your head. No windows- only sky lights. Small, cramped, unable to use bathroom mirror because it’s so recessed. Toilet runs. $375/night. Photo tells it all. Beware when booking this hotel- this is a terrible hotel room- I wish we had booked elsewhere.

The property is in a perfect location. Anna was our server for breakfast every morning and she greeted us with kindness and attentiveness. We’ve stayed here twice and can’t wait to come back.

Hôtel bien situé qui permet un accès facile aux lieux incontournables à visiter. Le personnel est très accueillant et attentionné. Une mention particulière aux 3 personnes qui s’occupent du petit-déjeuner. Elles sont serviables, souriantes et toujours aux petits soins. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, notamment la literie. Femme de ménage efficace qui vous permet de retrouver votre chambre en parfait état au retour de la journée. Présence du bar pour finir la soirée dans un espace extérieur très cocooning (welcome drink offert à l’arrivée). En conclusion, hôtel très recommandé avec rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel.
