Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive - Adults only

This resort is wonderful! We celebrated both our 9th and just last week our 10th wedding anniversary here. We have never been to the same resort twice until stating here last year- we loved it so much we had to go back. Our expedia concierge Rebeca was so wonderful at assisting us during both stays, she always makes us feel special! Thank you for all your hard work Rebeca we will be back soon and recommend this resort to everybody!

Overall a great stay. All of the activities were a ton of fun. Food good Drinks great Concierge's Jose and Juan even better. If I had 1 thing to improve it would be the golf service was slow but course conditions were great. Bring balls. Would do again anytime.

I booked Melia Punta Cana quickly after a terrible experience at another resort, and to my relief it turned out to be absolutely perfect for my birthday trip. The property is stunning and feels very safe and welcoming, which made it amazing for solo travel. The staff went above and beyond—especially Jenika from Expedia guest services. She was incredible! She constantly checked in on me, made sure I had everything I needed, and even booked dinner reservations for me multiple nights. On my birthday, the team surprised me by singing Happy Birthday and bringing out a cake during dinner, which made me feel so special. The beach is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the resort activities are so much fun. Every single staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and truly made the remainder of my trip unforgettable. Thank you Melia Punta Cana for turning my birthday vacation around. I’ll definitely be back!

This was our 6th visit back to Melia and like always, they did not disappoint (already discussing plans for our 7th visit)! The food is always outstanding, but the new Dominican experience at the Yumay restaurant left us wanting to go back a second time. Melia Punta Cana was a relaxing resort to stay at. Our host Juan was incredible. He took care of all of our needs and made our dinner reservations daily. Juan made this trip memorable and personal by surprising us with celebrations for our wedding anniversary. The room was clean and centrally located to the pool and beach. Transportation was readily available when needing to get to the other side of the resort for dinning or entertainment. Will stay again.

The property overall yop Notch, wellness concept really helped me to unplug from the world. Concierge Amable Sentil made sure i had everything already taken care off without even asking.. (dinner res, and everything). Level attention top tier as well.

Every person in reception is polite and helpful. Specially walington, Rebeca, Karen.jenika they are very helpful and we feel like our home. Very pleased with their hospitality.

Overall very nice, the service was great. The staff here is an amazing and it is clear that they work very hard and love doing what they are doing. I will say that I had one poor experience with a man working at the bar by the pool who made me feel very uncomfortable. Outside of that I am very happy that I chose this resort.

My stay was Excellent my personal concierge Frankelia Berroa was beyond amazing and professional she was the highlight of my trip traveling alone for my Birthday for first time since my husband passed and she made me feel welcomed and loved. Travel tip: ask for Frankeila. Warm, hyper-responsive, and a true problem-solver, key issues handled, lockout sorted in minutes, plus the Cocotal golf rec that saved me cash. We did sit through a high-pressure sales pitch early on (not on her) yet her follow-ups and ownership turned that around. Total pro and management material. We’d come back and likely upgrade.

El circuito, seguido de un masaje, está súper recomendado. Las atenciones por parte de Sandy (mayordomo asignado) fueron muy buenas y sobrepasaron la expectativa. Su atención, sin duda hizo la diferencia. De igual forma Helena en la barra del lobby nos dio un gran trato. En fin, unas vacaciones que repetiríamos sin pensarlo.

The Melia Punta Cana Beach is an amazing adults only all inclusive resort. What sets this resort apart is its focus on Wellness as an underlying theme. A lot of menu items at the various restaurants are prepared with your health in mind, fresh local ingredients combine with the chef's expertise to create delicious meals. Yoga, Pilates, and agua classes are scheduled throughout the day to drop in as you wish. Other cultural classes like larimar, sugar cane, and cocao workshops are offered throughout the week. Additionally, this resort features the YHI SPA. I spent many hours partaking in their various massages, wraps, and facials. The women were very professional and experienced in their areas. I highly recommend Yolanda. I can't forget the beautiful pool area with a separate quieter area for Level members. I highly recommend purchasing a Level room if you want extra rest and relaxation for your stay. You have access to a private restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that in and of itself makes it worth it. The pool area is surrounded with cabanas and chairs under palm huts. You have the perfect blend of sun and shade. My advice is to get to the pool by 10 am if you want a cabana as these go quickly. Last but certainly not least is the beach area. Lovely blue green Caribbean waters and white sand make this the perfect place for photos. Rent a cabana and spend the day on the beach. You will not be disappointed, the ocean sounds, breeze, cocktail service. Excellent!!

The staffs are so good and have an excellent customer service, from Natividad, Wallinton on the front desk, Rosaura on the bar in the lobby, the Dancer and happy guy with black shirt on the dinner restaurant in the lobby, sorry i don't remember the name but everybody was so good but they have to make some fix on the property, i understand the resort has a different structure but i think so is time to renovate and maintenance their name in the highest.

Quiero comenzar diciendo que la propiedad es muy bonita , ideal para quienes busquen más silencio y relax. También quiero mencionar y felicitar al equipo de entetenimiento, a Luisa y Miguel de Quimera y al personal que maneja los carritos de golf. Fueron muy serviciales, amables y creo que marcaron la diferencia. Pero también quisiera comentar sobre el hotel y puntos de mejora: Realmente es necesario mejorar en la calidad de la comida y su presentación. En uno de los restaurantes a la carta en el menú decía 'linguini con langostinos', pero cuando nos sirvieron el plato venían 3-4 camarones pequeños. Nunca se nos indicó esto al momento de ordenar y solo nos dijeron que así se sirve el plato y que es un "error de impresión". Lo cual no es así, siemplemente una respuesta vaga, e información engañosas. En cuanto al servicio le falta demasiado, como hotelera de profesión, realmente esto deja mucho que decir. La mayoría de meseros y personal de cocina no tenían una buena actitud, ahora no sé cómo son las condiciones de trabajo y entiendo que hace calor, por lo que el hotel también debe mejorar eso para tener un mejor servicio. La coctelería también es muy básica, nada era hecho con fruta real sino con preparados y no puedo decir que hubo un buen coctel ni que disfrutara mucho. Por último, hice el upgrade a 'The Level' y no siento que haya valido la pena. La forma en la que se nos vendió este upgrade tampoco fue clara y nada de lo esperado ni comentado.

It was like living in a tropical forest

Pools were dirty. The long check-in process was unnecessary. Food was okay. The daily activity texts from the staff was a bit much. Needed a ride to the entry gate to get picked up by tour guides or uber and they didn’t always want to take us. Extremely hot and not enough fans. Overall the staff was nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Can not recommend this resort enough. The smiles , personalities and overall experience was the best we have had. First time to the Dominican and the next trip to the Dominican will be at the Melia…we will be back.

Our stay at Meliá Punta Cana Beach Resort was an amazing experience for my boyfriend and I. We were there celebrating my cousin’s 30th birthday. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed. The resort grounds were absolutely gorgeous, clean, serene, and relaxing, with plenty of quiet spots perfect for unwinding or taking beautiful photos. The beach was stunning, and we loved that the tram made it easy to get around the resort. One of the best parts was being at an all-inclusive resort, which made everything so convenient. Food was available until 11 PM daily, and our favorite spots were Serendipia for breakfast and snacks, and Mosaico for dinner. One of our most memorable nights was when the staff hosted face painting, a Taino performance, and danced with the guests, it was so much fun and truly special. YHI spa experience was also wonderful. I had a body treatment with Alvaro, who was incredibly patient, gentle, kind, and accommodating. For the most part, the staff was warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout goes to our concierge at the Level, Jenfry (aka MJ), he was phenomenal! He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From checking in on us via WhatsApp to keeping us informed about daily events and always stopping to chat whenever we saw him around the resort, Jenfry truly made our stay exceptional. We would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and memorable getaway.

The property is beautiful and the staff are absolutely amazing. Everyone was super friendly and kind! The only issues were - and I think due to booking with Expedia - that transportation from the airport to the resort is not included even though it was mentioned on their website. It cost us about $25CAD to get to the resort and $40CAD to return to the airport. The other issue was that Expedia says you get $150CAD resort credit but it’s actually vouchers that cannot be combined and have a min. spend. So for example, we had 4 $20 vouchers for the spa. But after we got there, they let us know we could only use 2 of them - 1 per person, per service. These aren’t huge issues but important to note for people booking to make sure they budget a little bit more for the trip. Nonetheless, the room and resort were great and I would recommend it to others! There are a number of activities to do each day, although keep in mind that the schedule was not always 100% accurate. Probably because we came in low season and so some restaurants were closed for a few days or activities were canceled. The pool and beach were so so lovely and even though we came in wet season, we got very little rain! Drink service was yum and the shuttle drivers were so fun! Huge thank you to the staff for making the stay so lovely.

Beautiful beach and amazing pool! Swim up bar is in an ideal location and staff was incredible! They also have shuttle service running at all times to get you around the resort quickly. We did run into a few issues with our safe in the room not working, but staff quickly handled it and got us up and running.

I’m familiar with Meliá. I’ve experienced all. Meliá wellness rooms need to be updated. I guess you pay for what you get The food was great except the Japanese restaurant. Me n my guess waited 45-1 hour for someone to acknowledge and it wasn’t crowded. The manager did try to come to the rescue.

We were not aware that for $80 dollars more a night after paying $198 meant an upgrade to level area. We had limited eating options. If advised at check in that we had restrictions we probably would have upgraded. Only one restaurant opened on Friday unless you had a level room....we had a concierge assigned that did not explain the restaurants are closed certain nights. Eduard heard our situation and because we had a group 7 he made an exception and allowed us to dine at a different restaurant that only level people are allowed to dine at ?????. Pool area also divided but no one said anything on Thursday and then Friday our friends were kicked out of the level area. Also, the entertainment around the pool area is none existent, they had a rock band on Thursday at the front and we had to wait until 11pm to finally hear some Dominican music in a Dominican hotel????. Just because it's a wellness and spa resort with no kids it doesn't mean we don't want to have fun. Lastly, Expedia offers $90 credit towards massages which you think it's a credit and you pay remainder but it's divided into $20 dollar coupons for you to get 4 to 5 massages? I paid $100 bucks for one massage. Would I recommend for the price.....maybe not. The staff tried their best and were cortious and that's what we will take with us.....

Stayed here for 7 nights in a level suite. Our concierge Alejandro was amazing! Great adults only resort for some relaxation and peace and quiet. My only complaint is it was very hard to get additional drinks at the buffet and some nights at the level rooftop bar and I always tipped. Tried tipping even more than usual but that didn’t seem to help at all.

Staff was not very helpful at all, in fact my concierge disappeared on me and some other representative took over and was less helpful. Dont tell tour customers you are going to take care of a certain thing and don’t accomplish your task. Very unprofessional

The property was green and prestigious. Quite and safe. The staff was the best. All friendly and welcoming. Our personal concierges Eddie and Jose were top notch. From the beginning to the end they were there to assist in anything we needed. Bravo to Melia for having such amazing, caring staff. It make you want to come back again because you feel like family.

The resort was beautiful and very well put together. It was all inclusive so it was a plus. They did provide transportation for the long walks.

One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve stayed at and it’s super big! Many great locations to relax and great photo opps. The 3 upscale dining selections were amazing too and included. Bed was super comfy, rooms very clean and staff was very delightful and kind. I definitely plan to stay at other Melia locations. Small complaints would be additional staff at check in. It took over 30 mins to check in and half that time was standing in line waiting. After a long trip, a speedy checkin process would have been ideal. Room didn’t come with washcloths and we weren’t able to get some til our last day. And lastly tiny ants in the room which I believe is inevitable given that its vacation in the tropics lol and they’re so many outdoors and on the balcony, seems some were bound to get in. Overall I enjoyed my stay and none of the minor setbacks were

Clean, comfortable beds, room service was great, close to beach but not too close, nice pools, not too crowded, good food, good music, fun nightclub on resort site, overall 9/10. Staff needed to do their job to let Expedia members know of their benefits & perks at check in - that could have elevated our experience to a 11/10!

I like that is was safe and quiet different bar option and nightly shows was good. However food quality and selection need to be revamped to have more selection.

The property was beautiful, the AC did not work the first two days but someone came and got it fixed for the most part. The food was delicious, and the service was great. I did not like that a shuttle was needed to get to the lobby and back. But that’s because the property is huge. Overall nice place and would recommend to other people. The front desk staff was awesome.

Loveeeeee this resort I have been to many resorts in punta Cana this is in my top five favorite love it. Even thought I thought it was for relax and quiet time I found myself entertained at nights at the punta cana beach so I had the best of both worlds. Truly recommend it.
