Parc Avenue Residences Mile End

Clean room, good area friendly staff

the cleanliness level is definitely bad. old linens, no air conditioning in every room. dirty sheets on the pullout sofas

cleaner, friendlier staff

Spacious and well appointed

Great location, nice apartment. So much potential!

We had several very unpleasant occurrences during our stay. We booked at 16:20 and we immediately proceeded to check-in a few minutes later. At check-in, we were told that there had been no electricity since 7am that morning, and there wouldn't be any until 10pm. We had not been warned about this in any way at the time of booking - we would have booked somewhere else under these circumstances. Our apartment was not very clean (maybe due to the lack of electricity?), there was water on the floor as the freezer was de-frosting, and there were dirty towels in the washing machine. The apartment was very cold, and we had no light and no possibility to heat or cook until the electricity went on just before 10pm. Nevertheless, they charged us a cleaning fee of CAD$192 for 2 nights. There were no towels for us in the apartment, and the ones we then got from reception were dirty (!). In light of these unfortunate circumstances, we kindly requested that they refund us that exorbitant cleaning fee. We did so through Booking.com and directly by email. They never even bothered to respond over the past 2 weeks. Utterly disappointing.

The apartment is quite spacious with high ceilings and the interior is a good compromise between chic and comfortable furniture. Much of it shows considerable wear and tear though. The bathrooms are practical and we found nice towels and linen for the beds. Speaking of beds: The mattresses on the three double beds and the bunk beds were nicely firm. The sleeping couch in the living room was super wobbly on the contrary. The rooftop terrace was nice, with a great view, a bbq and lounge furniture. The building is located on a quiet street where you can park for a moderate fee and part of the rooms give on an even quieter back alley with trees. Various supermarkets, cafés and restaurants in walking distance. The staff were also very nice and helpful if you asked them personally. No response whatsoever to messages via the booking.com app

If you know what to look for, you can see traces quite a lot of makeshift repuairs on the ceilings and furniture. Apparently there had been a fire on the roof recently. The terrace was littered with Glass shards and when it rained heavily one evening, there were several spots in the upstairs bedroom, where lange amounts of foul smelling water seeped in. When we complained, there was no response from the management. The reception sent housekeeping, to check, but they did just that. No repair, no discount, no apology. All we got were a handful of extra towels to replace the oned we‘d use to mop up the water. Also, the kitchen was very poorly equipped. Two teaspoons, three blunt knives and about six spoons and forks. No pan, only one pot (five lids though) and no kettle. The door of the dishwasher was broken, too. So basically cooking wasn‘t possible.

Absences de personnel pour vous informer

Although I loved the location.

The facilities were a significant issue. There was no elevator, and the third bedroom wasn't usable - I ended up sleeping with others on the bed. On top of that, the catch was broken, and the place wasn't immaculate overall; we had to put a bedsheet on the couches to sit.

First this hotel is not worth it, their staff are terrible and unfriendly. You will climb the stairs with your luggage and the worst is that we had power outage and when I called after 2 hours, I was told that it was a city issue and that I should complain to the city. I then decided to check out (this was now like 4 hours of no power) and they still have the gut to say they will not refund. So they are a BIG FRAUD.

Terrazza

I stayed at this property for one night and had a disappointing experience. The staff were unprofessional, and the front desk staff were drinking alcohol in front of customers. The bedding was dirty and appeared not to have been changed, and some of the utensils were not cleaned properly. The surrounding area felt unsafe due to people using drugs on the street nearby. Lastly, there was no parking available at the property, and we had a difficult time finding parking at night.

Not nearly as nice as advertised. Linens and furniture had stains. Condition - shabby is the best word.

Terrible place

It was disgusting. Bedding wasn't clean. Nothing was clean. Vents had a like big big dust bombs which shows they were never cleaned. Garbage was stored next to it so unit smelt like garbage. For 7 people they didn't even provide any toilet paper. When asked they gave 2 toilet papers.

Nothing was clean. Dirty beds, run down, loud neighbors

Efficient minimalist approach: no bedside lamp or table in second bedroom; access to balcony/patio; all basics available like left luggage.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Moldy mattress, stained towels, sheets, couches, chairs. Would not replace mattress and even the replacement towels were stained and raggedy. Unclean, unsafe, uninhabitable conditions. Would not give refund.

Staff need to be friendly need to learn customer service

Worst hotel I have ever experienced. No support from hotel and expedia . Expedia do not care for customer.

Parking not really convenient. The rest is acceptable

Propreté et état des lits

L’emplacement

Central Location. Staff were helpful . Walking in the area allowed to sense the vibe of the city. Warm people. New pleasant experiences.

Party on the roof on Saturday night No elevator- hard for elderly to climb stairs

Dirty linen and towels. No elevator had to walk up dirty staircase with luggage, 3 flights.

Limpa, bem localizada, ampla

Good location, not too noisy, staff was nice

Sofa was a bit old and dirty, had to ask for toilet paper as one of the toilet was empty.

Toilet was broken, vanity & tub drains were broken, Kitchen draws were dirty inside, Fridge did not work, bedrooms don’t have AC, 1 bedroom does not even have a door, AC in living room did not work, building does not have an elevator and stairs are very hard to walk.

An elevator or railings in the stairwell would have been more convenient with my elderly mother

Location. Only hotel in that area

Maintenance:: hole dripping in bathroom ceiling next to light fixture, broken shower fixture, microwave 7 feet wall, needed. A ladder to get to it, steep stairway no bannister, potentially dangerous, very lousy street all night

The apartment was clean. The beds are king size and very comfortable.

They have really worn out and dirty towels. If staying here bring towels. We did a laundry of all towels. Few towels were worn out with big holes.

Generous space, well furnished and equipped.

No elevator (is this mentioned at all in the property description?). A few hairs left and the bathroom.

Everything was modern except the stair

Stair with luggage doesn’t work

The washroom’s faucet was damaged, bedsheets and towels were stained, neglected plants, dented walls, unstable & creaking bed, dirty grill, broken dishwasher, coffee stains on tables and counters, stained couch and pillows, cracked tiles, cracked mirror, and broken shower head. Some furniture had burnt through holes, such as the coffee table and floors.

C’était propre et beau. La terrasse était génial

Difficile d'obtenir le code

The loft is spacious, the location is convenient and we also like the walk out balcony.

We felt very disappointed, because the we discovered that some facilities are broken or problematic. Firstly, the shower glass door and lock on both bathroom doors were broken. When we shower upstairs, the water leaked from the ceiling on the lower level like a waterfall. It was very shocking. Secondly, the shower head on the lower level bathroom was broken and there was water leak at the connection part. Moreover, there was no air conditioning inside the 2 bedroom, we felt very stuffed inside. The bed sheets and sofa had stains on them too.

Spacious, lots of utility and good value.

Parking space is limited.

Apartment was spacious, clean and bright. Great location to explore Montreal on foot or public transit. Mile End/Plateau neighbourhoods have endless intetesting shops, cafés and restaurants. Was just steps from the Rialto theatre where we had tickets to a show which was main reason for the trip.

Few small things could be improved. No bed-side lights in main bedroom, no clothes hanging Rod in main bedroom closet.

There is no elevator so if visiting for 2+ weeks with luggage difficult to go up the stairs

Cleanest

Nothing

It was an easy check in process and the hotel itself was super clean and nice. Just a quick Uber or nice walk away from some of the main attractions we enjoy. Will definitely be returning in the future.

It was ok, not very clean, the towels didnt look clean or new, the floor and carpet were gross. Theres no elevator to get up to the room.

Spacious living room

No parking, got big ticket for parking issue

Warm, welcoming.

The location was fair. Equidistant to many of the attractions in the city. The living room was spacious enough and there was access to paid TV subscription FOC.

There’s no elevator, so get ready to drag your belongings up the narrow stairs. The microwave oven in the kitchen is past its best before date. There’s no kettle. No washing up liquid. The toaster was dirty so couldn’t be used. The accommodation screams low-budget.

I Loved the location, its in a very calm neighborhood. Yet, close to the park and in front of a bus stop. The apartment was perfect and comfortable to get back to after walking all day. I would come back to this apartment.

The photo's look nice on Hotels. I was expecting to be able to park at the units as it is advertised with Parking available. This parking is on the streets around the area. I didn't like being called prior to arrival to ask to use a link to pay deposit and do a security check. My wife looked at the outside of the building and did not like the vibe of the people hanging around the entrance. And was too frightened to think about leaving the car out on the streets or even going into the units. We booked another hotel in the area and got an Uber to the event we were going to. My rating is based on external experience as we did not see the room. Shame to waste the money for a room we did not stay in seeing as there was a fee to clean it. Hopefully this can help future bookers think about what they may be getting into.

Good location Lots of room

No on site parking Staff did not reply to our concerns

Sink faucet is broken. Bedding sheets are dirty King size bed was not a king size bed. 2 double beds joined together and separated every time you moved.

the property was in the good location

Old property. the lock on the door was not working. bad smell in staircase, like some sort of garbage and bleach.

Chaises et divan tâché. Lumieres qui ne fonctionnent pas. Robinetterie rouillée.

Location was great and we’ve stayed in area before It was a last minute booking travelling from Ottawa for a few days and stayed only a night here Modern but not our style but others may like it The only thing since we didn’t get to stay long was the bed linens and pillows had a smell as if the sheets, pillows and blanket cover were not clean or changed Other than that the apartment was clean but again we didn’t stay long

Cleanliness of bed linens and bedding
