Fair Isle Motel

It was clean and reasonably priced. The owners were very nice.

No lighting outside rooms on second floor. Especially on the stairs. You could get hurt carrying luggage up and down.

Great location. Comfy beds.

A lot of flies. Not their fault though.

The rooms were spacious, everything was very clean and the staff is very helpful.

While it is accessible by car to Charlottestown, it is really remote with no services nearby.

Location was ok, suite was ok. Bed was a bit tired, slept better than we expected. Convenient enough to drive to some nearby restaurants.

Bed was a bit noisy, but slept better than expected.

Lit très confortable , endroit très propre

Having our own kitchen

The rooms were very clean. Everything we required was there. Wine glasses and additional pots would have been useful as well as a toaster

I would have preferred the ground floor. The wifi was a bit sketchy. The bed was not very comfortable

Easy checkin. Room was clean and tidy. Kitchen well equiped. Beds were comfortable. Good location (10-15 mins away from the center of the city).

Manque d'oreiller. Les equipments passes d'âge. Pas de glace.

Safe.

Hot.

Mattress could be improved, sheets were cleaned but the mattress makes you feel tired.

Room was very clean and pet friendly.

Our room was next to the public laundry room. The door slamming went on well into the evening, very disruptive when trying to rest. Next time I would request a room away from the laundry facilities.

More pillows! only 2 small pillows per bed

Super convenient location, really great kitchenette options, BBQs and laundry on site.

The room that I stayed in was quite dated, there were cobwebs on the ceiling and the ceiling in the washroom was stained.

Clean quiet

Nothing

Clean suite, decent price. Lots of hot water and pet friendly!

Large step to get into suite. Hard to get parking near your door

Breakfast wasn't included, location was pretty good, 20 minutes to beaches and Restaurants. Would have been nice to be closer to a coffee shop/ bakery to have a little something to eat before starting the day 😋 laundry service on site was terrific! Super cheap too!

The floor seemed clean but was a little sticky, it may have been due to moisture or the type of cleaner

Very clean and friendly staff. Liked the newsroom with second double bed in kitchenette area. Was visiting multiple areas and beaches around Charlestown. Hotel is by airport so under 30 minute drive to many places.

The beds were hard and the pillows pancake flat.

It was clean

Bed was uncomfortable as were the couch and 1 other chair. It is very dated.

Shout out to the kitchen!! We bought groceries from Sobeys and prepared our dinner with seafood.

There was only one AC from the bedroom to cool down the whole unit including the front area with kitchen. Therefore, it's either very cold in the bedroom or hot in the front area.

They unlocked our door because of late check in.

- mold on bath tub and ceiling - flooring lifting and separating - ac unable to use do it window coverings - no ac because ground floor room and needed curtains closed - stained towels - flat pillows - smell of dampness - dirty boot tray

Bed very comfortable. Bathroom was big and clean.

TV too small and too far from couch. Microwave too small.

Washroom is good.

Smell not so good.

Location, bbq on site for customers.

The entrances were all very high steps. The upstairs entrance door is extremely tight auto close so it is a struggle every time you come and go. Room was dated :(

The location

Full of insects and the floor was dirty.

Nicely located for easy driving to attractions Friendly staff Clean facilities Good air circulation

Toilet would plug up easily Door to stairs from parking lot was too heavily sprung, difficult to carry things and open the door Cords dangling from lamps to outlets

Clean, modern, convenient, great room layout with the kitchenette

Everything was perfect. The location allowed easy access to all parts of the island.

The location was great Room was great to

Staff hard to understand them

Clean room

On booking put upstairs should have been down

Loved the location and the fact they had lots of amenities for children of all ages.

We were located close to the laundry room and some people didn't respect the laundry hours and were slamming the door late. Other then that, everything was great.

Kitchen was great!

Furnished kitchen and cleanliness

Beds were hard

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Located very close to the city.

It was clean and quiet. Also spacious and the air conditioning was very much welcomed. Ideally located for our needs. Overall, a good place to stay for the night. Also welcomed the included wifi.

There wasn’t anything i disliked.

Comfortable and quiet

Pretty perfect, no complaints, very quiet. We had no problems

NOTHING like the photos. Bathroom was very small and gross. Bathtub dirty. We were only there arriving late and leaving early, but my children found it hard settling in because it was very dingy. Had a musty smell. For what we needed it for it was fine but should’ve been half the cost. I would not recommend for long stays. Or even the type of stay we need if arriving late. The only good thing is it was located near the airport so when we awoke to our rental car not working properly we were able to drive it the short distance to swap for another.

It was very quiet! We stayed in the older part of the motel and it was lovely

Had a skin reaction to the laundry detergent they use for the bedding, but that's just me!

It was a good location and easy to find ..loved the playground for the kids. I wish I could have BBQed

It was really high to step into room from front door and it was really hot in the front room . A fan would have been nice

Little bit pricy.

Location

Room had a bad smell in it.

Need to vacuum and shake the cover of the bed because I saw a bed bugs on it

Just the bed bugs and vacuum before the next person to stay in your hotel thanks

Decent price, good value for money overall.

The bed top covers somehow didnt feel clean. They may have been clean but maybe the dull grey color made them feel unclean. Suggest having something brighter coloured.

Clean , comfortable motel.

Price had 2 beds easy access.

Room needed some upgrades. Flooring decor windows and air conditioner in window didn’t allow for curtain to be closed for privacy.

Good location.

The pillows and no covers on garbage containers. This was a pet friendly room so I recommend covers so the dog can’t get into the containers.

Overall, a good value for money

The bed linen was not very clean. The reception work from 8:00 am, but I had questions at 7:00 am, but we were not warned about this during check-in that they work from 8:00 am.

Oreillers peu confortable.

The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was very nice. The staff we dealt with were very nice and the window fan worked really well. Having a broom was also very nice.

How many of the towels and Blankets had stains on them. Not being able to close the bathroom blinds. There was no rod or string to lower them so it was kind of uncomfortable being in the bathroom.

Very clean, friendly staff, lots of amenities and comfy beds

Nothing - it was great

Very clean and tidy. Kitchen has all the facilities.

Clean, comfortable and kind staff.

Slightly dated, but is accurately represented through pictures.

The air conditioning was nice and cold

The hotel was shabby, the walls are thin you can hear everything from the next rooms.

Clean rooms

All was 100%

Location

Floors were dirty. Had to ask staff to get cleaned.

It was quite.

The location is not bad and the staff as well.

Bed, bedding, cleanliness, facilities, sofa bed, bed, blankets, sheets, toiltet, bathroom, lamps, environment, everything is very cheap and very old. Not comfortable at all. Wasnt able to sleep at all.

We had a lovely kitchenette suite. Beds were comfy. Super quiet of road noise. Appliances were all new and the fridge was huge. Great location to the beach, national Park and drive in.

Room 12 was a bit noisy as it was next to the office staff room. Quiet overnight just after 7 AM.

installation physique ok.

Corteous staff and wonderful rooms

Nothing

The Room (2 space) was clean ,Calm area

_

Very close to airport. Easy to get around

Newer dishes and utensils.

Clean room and bed

Having a widow ac was great

No breakfast

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja Pomocny personel Dobre wyposażenie kuchni

-

Much larger room than expected

Parking was tight.

The room had a separate bedroom.

The sofa bed was terrible.

Ease of access, relative cost compared to other stays in the area. The staff were very helpful with our late check in.

The linens were stained and had hairs on them. The bedspread had holes in it.

Great value for the money.

the location itself

the couch is too old

Great layout with the separate bedroom.

Not as quiet as I hoped.

The property , the room and its privacy

The only problem I had was there was no ac our at least we couldn’t find it

Location

Price

The property is near Charlottetown Center and the beaches The location is quiet, but easy to find.

The motel is dated but the amenities and rooms are clean and comfortable.

The place had decent space for a family of 5. And it was nice and clean.

The mattresses were rigid and uncomfortable. Would have been nice to have 2 pillows per person rather than one. And I had to request an extra pillow from the reception desk.

Équipement incroyable, grande chambre, bien aménagée!

Les lits étaient vraiment durs. Trop long à récupérer le dépôt de 100$.

Near Charlottetown, the suite we were in had lots of room Bedroom was separate Couch was a plus Kitchen facilities were very handy

No complaints

I reserved a room with 2 double beds and a couch. We got a room with one bed!

Tous était parfait merci

Internet était moyen

In the morning, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the manager, Mary, came to our room without prior notice, even though the official checkout time was 11:00 a.m. She repeatedly knocked on the door and continued asking if we were leaving. Before we could properly respond and come out of the room, she had already entered the room and then apologized, saying she thought we had already left. This was very concerning and unprofessional. It is unreasonable to assume guests have checked out when the checkout time has not yet passed, especially since the room keys had not been returned. Guests should be given privacy and staff should not enter occupied rooms without clear confirmation that they have been vacated. Additionally, the staff member working at the property was unable to communicate effectively in English, which made the situation even more frustrating and difficult to address. We believe this incident was an invasion of our privacy and would appreciate an explanation and assurance that proper procedures will be followed in the future.

Bad service by the manager

Room was very clean. Kitchen was great.

Location, the design of the room, the comfortable aspect of the room

Nothing

Spacious room with kitchen

It will be better if kitchen towels are provided and one cloth hanger in bathroom

Good location

Upgraded our room at no charge! Room was beautiful. Staff are amazing.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful staff, clean room, very modern Love kitchen area in room.
