The quietness across its entire territory is fascinating. You truly relax with all your senses there. The air is so fresh, and the territory off the hotel is expansive

There is literally nothing to do in the hotel while you are waiting for your visit to the Disneyland. Also, the hotel is already a bit old, with paint peeling off in some places, corridor carpets being worn out, and taps not being fixed securely in the bathroom. What's more, the food and drinks are extremely expensive there.

Die Lage ist Toll. Zum Disneyland sind es nur 1.5km zu laufen. Man bekommt ein Shuttle bis zur Pforte des Hotels. Das sind dann die ersten 300m - die restliche Distanz muss man laufen, was aber machbar ist. Die Ideen der Architektur des Hotels ist sehr gut gewählt und gelungen.

Leider ist das Hotel abgewohnt. Es waren zwar Renovierungsarbeiten im Gange, jedoch sind Tepiche in den Gängen abgelaufen und sehen somit unansehnlich aus. Genauso ist das komplette Mobiliar sehr abgenutzt und bräuchte eine Auffrischung für die Kategorie des Hotels. Der Holzboden im Zimmer hatte viele Kratzer. Die Kissen auf den Terrassenmöbel waren total versifft. Leider fühlt man sich auch nicht in der Disney Bubble, trotz der Nähe zum Park.

Очень приятный и комфортный отель. Мы бронировали для комфортного посещения Диснейленда и для этих целей он отлично подходит. При заселении на ресепшен детям подарили небольшие сувениры, а в номере был собран шалаш, где ребенок мог обустроить свое небольшое жилище - было приятно. Персонал на ресепшен очень приветлив и старается помочь, но на английском говорят не все, поэтому получается друг друга понять не всегда. Завтраки в отеле хорошие, каждый найдет себе что-то по вкусу. В целом отель оставил очень приятное впечатление, как место переночевать перед/после Диснейленда - идеально.

Очень скудное меню в ресторане при отеле на ужин. Официанты вообще не говорят по английски. Лично мне не хватило бассейна, но его никто и не обещал)

Description in the booking is not accurate. When I was booking - it was said that I will have five beds in the rooms. Though it was not accurate and when I checked official site of the hotel- it stated that it was selection - either one option or another. And on booking platform it was combined.

The room was lovely, the beds were very comfortable. The staff were all very polite and helpful. Great breakfast.

We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of Disneyland, but in the end, we were pleasantly surprised by much more than just the location. The hotel is set on a separate, quiet territory with small townhouse-style buildings, beautiful interiors, and rooms that feel new, fresh, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, with Comfort Zone toiletries, and the breakfast room was large and beautifully designed. Breakfast included both European and Asian options. Although not all of the staff speak English, everyone genuinely tried to help. For example, when we had trouble ordering room service by phone because of the language barrier, a staff member came to our room with a menu just a few minutes later and successfully took our order. Imagine coming back after a big, busy, and slightly chaotic day at Disneyland to an oasis of silence, calm, and comfort. For us, that was Meliá.

Great hotel, great value for money and ideal for Disneyland

Fantastic stay, very near to Disneyland park, they even had a golf cart to transport guests to the edge of the property, then walk 10 min to the entrance of Disneyland. Room was huge, clean and comfortable, breakfast spread was extensive, but not wasteful.

The proximity to Shanghai Disneyland was good.

There’s no business center and there’s not a door to the restroom. So when someone showers or goes to the restroom , there is just a frosted glass. There was also some definite wear and tear to the panels in building 2.

Magnificent accomodation in connecting rooms. Set in beautiful & tranquil well kept grounds only ten minutes walk from Shanghai Disney. Rooms were immaculately cleaned & maintained.

All face to face communication with front desk relied upon translation app. As this is an International hotel a couple of staff could be trained to speak English.( This was the norm in Beijing)Perhaps one member per shift? Understandably this is a family hotel( we travelled with young child) however the carpets in coridoor were very noticeably worn down & in comparison aesthetically let the beautiful rooms down.

Erstklassige Lage für einen Besuch im Disneyland Shanghai. Es sind keine 1,5km bis zum Parkeingang. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und modern. Wir sind bereits morgens angereist und hatten nicht damit gerechnet direkt ein Zimmer zu erhalten. Dies war eine schöne Überraschung.

Вначале заселили в номер с видом на стройку но после переговоров быстро переселили в идеальный номер

**🇬🇧 English Review** We stayed at the Meliá Parkside in Shanghai and overall had a good experience, especially for visiting Disney. The location is very convenient — it’s just a 10-minute walk to Shanghai Disneyland, basically across the street. From reception, they even take you by golf cart right to the hotel entrance, stopping just in front of the pedestrian crossing, which is a nice touch. The hotel promotes itself as a Spanish brand — which it is — but there’s very little actual Spanish food available. At breakfast, you’ll find chorizo and churros, but honestly, they don’t resemble what you’d expect in Spain. The churros come without chocolate and taste quite different, and the chorizo isn’t comparable either. That said, the breakfast is still decent overall, with a good variety of options. Dinner options for Western food are limited: mainly burgers, salmon (which was very good), lamb (a bit tough), and frozen fries — oddly always served with ketchup. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the air conditioning works well, though they do feel a bit dark. Despite a few shortcomings, we would definitely stay here again if returning to Disney because of the location and overall comfort. --- **🇪🇸 Reseña en Español** Nos alojamos en el Meliá Parkside de Shanghái y en general la experiencia fue buena, sobre todo si vas a visitar Disney. La ubicación es muy cómoda — está a solo 10 minutos andando de Shanghai Disneyland, prácticamente cruzando la calle. Además, desde recepción te llevan en un carrito de golf hasta la puerta del hotel, justo delante del paso de peatones, lo cual es un detalle muy práctico. El hotel se anuncia como español — y la marca lo es — pero en realidad no hay casi comida española. En el desayuno hay chorizo y churros, pero no se parecen en nada a los de España. Los churros no tienen chocolate y el sabor es bastante distinto, y el chorizo tampoco tiene mucho que ver. Aun así, el desayuno está bien y hay bastante variedad.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The suite was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning bathroom and very comfortable bedding. The breakfast was also great, with plenty of options. The location is perfect — just a 10-minute walk (max) from the Disney park. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Hotel molto bello e nuovo vicinissimo a Shanghai Disneyland, 10 minuti a piedi e dall ingresso dell' albergo con un golf cart si può essere accompagnati fino alla strada principale. Had a wonderful one-night stay at Meliá Shanghai Parkside! It’s a fantastic option if you’re looking to save a bit while visiting Shanghai Disney Resort—just about a 10-minute walk away, which made everything super convenient. To top it off, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a family room, which was such a lovely touch. Great value, great location, and great service - would definitely stay again! ❤️

No water for shower between 8pm to 10pm which is the most ridiculous experience we’ve had at any hotel. Staff was just trying to swipe things under the carpet and act like it’s totally normal to have water to shower for guests. They try to give us a petty fruit platter the next day which include one apple and one banana, please save it for your child’s lunch box.

The hotel was gorgeous. We couldn't fault our room. It was beautiful, spacious, well laid out, and extremely clean. The location is perfect for those visiting Disney but not wishing to stay in the park hotels, it was only a short 10-15 minute walk to the park and a 20 or so minute walk to the nearest train station which was extremely convenient.

Everything about this hotel is magnificent. It was calm and peaceful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

We were attracted by the overall look and feel of this hotel, and of course being close to Disneyland being in the Park area. The exteriors are beautiful, with some wonderful cherry blossom trees which were in season.

The rooms are cool but we had experienced repeated clogging issues. The water stopped working on a few occasions. The TV resolution was also rather low given it's a 5-star hotel. Some of the staff didn't seem to be properly trained as they were standing around at the reception and breakfast area.

The proximity to the disney town and the park walking distance. However it is NOT seven minutes as they say at the hotel. It is approx 15/20 min walk to get to the park entrance at disney town. There is a red bridge that is closed so you cannot use this way which is a shorter path. You should take the longer one which takes 15/20 min. But it is a nice walk. Yo forge about waiting lines to get a shuttle to the parking lot of the disney park, you just walk and you are already there. Another nice thing is a silly one but got my attention. The hairdryer is amazing. And the shower as well! Fantastic after a tiring day at the park. Check out time at 12 was great.

the sofa bed for the kids was not good. The bed was not even made for us. There is a transparent wall between the man room and the other room that is awful when kids in my case wanted to sleep with lights on. There are no places to hang towels. The breakfast was kind of basic, and they only open at 7:00 am so if you want to be really early at the park avoid paying for breakfast.

L’absence de navette ou de transport de l’hôtel vers la première station de métro rend l’accès légèrement fastidieux avec des valises. L’hôtel possède une navette qui s’approche plus d’une voiturette de golf et elle ne fait que les 300m qui sépare l’entrée de l’hôtel du portail

Proximity to Disneyland was great! We could walk to the entrance in about 20-25 minutes. There is a little shuttle from the hotel to the outermost driveway of the hotel, which left with a very high frequency and picked us up within minutes of us coming back to the hotel after a long day at Disneyland. The terrace room was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious.

The price was very high to me, but still cheaper than the price of hotels within Disneyland. We wanted to be able to walk to Disneyland, so this was the cheapest we could get. The walk was long, I wish we could have had a shuttle to bring us closer to the Disneyland gate. For some reason, I couldn't get fruit delivered easily to the hotel, and I had to pay an extra fee for the delivery person to take a car to us at the hotel (something about them not being able to ride their scooter in this close to Disneyland?), so that was very expensive as well.

The rooms are very clean and big, very nice actually.

1) The rooms AC does not go below 23c. We asked the hotel and after checking they said sorry but that’s it. 2) Internet is hidden and could not get the internet to work. Engineering said it was my computer, but every hotel 2 prior to staying there in Shanghai city worked, and 1 after in Shanghai city worked no problem.
