Only 2 lifts with 30 rooms across 10 floors (do the math), we waited 30 mins just to go down to Lobby from our room floor! :) Room service? NO. They use AI pics + AI description that DID NOT MATCH WHAT WE RECEIVED AT ALL! + trying to contact reception? HAHAHA you need to go through live chat and an AI bot will reply you😂

I chose Dorset Hartamas for the location close to the High Court. I am a Dorset member but I am disappointed with with a few issues: 1. The hotel layout is a mess..going to my room is like finding my way thru a maze!! 2. I check in about 3.30pm , room was ready but had to wait for fresh towels and I need to chase for it and got it by 4.30pm!!! 2. We cannot control the room temperature..its there for show only but cannot adjust at all! 3. Breakfast is disappointing...the crew dont seem to be paying attention to empty dishes and dont refill ??? maybe I left then only you refill?? 5. Who would know parking is before the hotel entrance..for first timer I drove to the entrance only to be told that parking is immediately on the left. 6. Honestly not worth the value staying here. Plus points : 1. Friendly staff. 2. Good location..Hartamas Shopping Mall is just across the street. 3. Close to High Court Complex, JPN, Istana Negara, MITI MATRADE etc.

Stayed for one as I have an early morning training at MITEC on the very next day. Welcomes with Baurni's beautiful smile and always ready to answer to my questions. The afternoon shift with Josephine as DM is also very friendly. Baurni made my whole stay a very comfortable one knowing she will always be ready to assist.

Had a wonderful stay at Dorsett Hartamas. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well taken care of. I am very disappointed with my recent stay. The booking listing never mentioned that this was a windowless room; I was only informed of this by the front desk upon check-in. While the room itself was quite clean, the in-room facilities completely failed to match what was advertised during the booking process. Because of these discrepancies, this room was absolutely not worth the price paid.

I would say it was unpleasant stay at dhkl. I was requested by an email for upgrade room, and yes did mentioned upon availability. They gave complimentary breakfast. But, the canapes I got totally just like that eventhough they acknowledge its for birthday celebration. No wishes at all on the cake. Lift only 2? In the morning going breakfast you have to go downstairs by stairs with parents who is senior citizen is a totally ridiculous. During breakfast, some food really take time to refill. To be experience again at dhkl, sorry to say this but i reckon this is first and the last. Thanks.

The location is great. Was near to Menara MATRADE and also the Hartamas Shopping complex is walkable distance only.Easy to get GRAB for travelling and etc.

The waiting time for lift is really long. Confusing as well as the two lifts are not side by side rather placed separately. The crowd tends to gather and sometimes the earlier waiting guests will be left out if the intended lift does not arrive first while the next one arrive first and the guests waiting near there will get in first. The breakfast buffet was not included in my booking as it was pricey. Options nearby are plenty especially if you drive about 10 minutes to Brickfields area.

Excellent hotel service and outstanding cleanliness! The staff were friendly, professional, and very attentive throughout my stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Im a person who loves to stay in different hotels wherever i go so i choose dorset hartamas after reading their review. A good positive review. Well I’m ok with the hotel in terms of food and location. Well try as much as I can to give positive review but this time I’m concern with the hygience of the room. We encounter a bad strong unpleasant smell from the toilet which effected the room too everytime we open the toilet door not sure if the room I’m staying only have this. Did inform the hotel of my experience they sent cleaner yet still have the strong unpleasant smell. Well 4 days have to endure that not even a room change being offered. Well other than that its good . Well hope the hotel mgmt will look into this .

We stayed for two nights. I can say its not that great as it is. 5 star for its cleaniness and hospitality. But others not up to the standard. 1) aircon was not functioning, had to call receptionist to inform and he send the technician at the middle of the night to look into. Technician came and informed that the airvent is not been cleaned so he took up sometime to cleaned it up in our room itself . Nothing much i appreciate it but its not up to the hotel standard. 2) lift system:- the worst i can say. We have to wait each time to get in. Only two lifts there, the rest is for residents and its not connected to the hotel lobby . 3) parking system:- paid parking. And we have to take a big round around the parking to exit :- ex if we park in L1 we have to drive alone to get down to L2, round around the L2 before climb up again to exit. 3)breakfast:- alot of varieties . No doubt. But failed crowd control system. If they know there will be alot crowd for the day maybe they should open up alot more space for breakfast . The worst is there is one part coffee machine break down, plates cups all finish, have to walked to the kitchen and ask for it. Like for me they passed soup cup for the coffee since all the coffee cups finish and still have not washed. Total messed up the floor manager go missing leave the workers, chefs, waiters to entertain the floor. Pity them. 5) gym/pool is combine with the residence usage. Treadmill breakdown. Recommended, hope they correct minor things.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. There was a great variety of food to choose from, with something for everyone. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a perfect way to start the day. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality made me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely choose to stay at Dorsett Hartamas again when I visit Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. From checking in, the lady was very lovely and friendly. She answered to all of my queries professionally. We booked 2 rooms, and both rooms were really spacious and comfortable. All of our requests were catered to during our stay, and we would like to thank all of the staff for accommodating to our request to bring request to our room. Breakfast was lovely and the lady at the front was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

EVERYTHING is SUPERB, STUNNING, FRIENDLY staff with smile, kind-hearted and nice words, FABULOUS buffett breakfast, OUTSTANDING infinity pool on 27th floor with SUPERB Kuala Lumpur skyline view. Room met our expectation for one night stay while on business trip. There was sufficient amenities for a comfortable stay. Lighting and air-conditioning was good.

There was only one out of two lifts working which resulted in somewhat long waiting time.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Dorsett Hartamas Hotel. While the hotel is starting to show its age in some areas, such as the carpets and certain furnishings, the cleanliness is well maintained and the rooms are kept tidy and comfortable. One of the hotel's biggest strengths is its location. Situated in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, it offers a relaxing environment away from the busy city centre. At the same time, it is conveniently located near popular areas such as 1 Mont Kiara, Desa Sri Hartamas, and other nearby dining and café spots, making it easy to find a variety of food and entertainment options. The combination of a peaceful setting, good accessibility, and satisfactory cleanliness makes it a worthwhile choice for both business and leisure travelers. With some refurbishment and updates to the interiors, the overall experience could be even better.

One elevator was down during my entire stay. Hairdryer had broken wires with live current passing through in the toilet.

The room is good, but I didn't like the bathroom. The hygiene standards are only average, and the room service is below average.

The hygiene standards are below expectations. The corridor carpets are dirty, and even the bathrooms do not appear to be cleaned properly or with appropriate cleaning products.

I arrived late at night around midnight and was warmly welcomed by the Front Desk team. They were very friendly and made the check-in process smooth and easy. I would especially like to thank the young lady at the Front Desk (unfortunately, I forgot her name), Ahmad and Mr. Arshad FOM for their excellent assistance and professionalism. The room was very clean and in excellent condition. The room was also cleaned and well maintained every day with great attention to detail. The breakfast was also delicious, with a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. Congratulations to the Front Office and Housekeeping and Kitchen teams for their outstanding service. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

À notre arrivée, la première chambre qui nous a été attribuée dégageait une odeur nauséabonde. Après quelques vérifications, nous avons constaté qu’une fuite de la climatisation avait complètement inondé le sol. Nous avons immédiatement signalé le problème à un membre du personnel, qui nous a indiqué que nous allions changer de chambre. Cependant, une fois arrivés à la réception, nous nous sommes rendu compte qu’il n’y avait aucune communication entre les différents membres du personnel, ce qui a rendu la situation encore plus frustrante. Pour couronner le tout, au lieu de bénéficier d’un geste commercial, nous avons été déclassés et installés à l’étage le plus bas, avec, vous vous en doutez, une vue bien moins agréable que celle initialement prévue. Une expérience très décevante, tant par la gestion de l’incident que par le manque de coordination et de considération envers les clients.

My experience with the hotel reception was very disappointing. During check-in, I made full payment using my credit card. However, at check-out, the receptionist insisted that my payment had not gone through and asked me to provide the payment receipt. Unfortunately, I did not keep the receipt because I assumed the transaction was completed successfully during check-in. I immediately contacted my bank, and they confirmed that the payment had indeed been successfully charged to my account. After the issue was resolved, I left the hotel. When I arrived home, I received a notification that another RM250 had been deducted from my account. I contacted my bank again to verify the transaction, and then called the hotel. Eventually, the hotel admitted that the second charge was due to their own mistake and refunded the amount. In addition, the air conditioning in the room was not working properly. A technician came to repair it, but the room remained warm throughout the night and even until the next morning, making our stay quite uncomfortable. When we first arrived, we were very happy with the hotel and were already thinking about returning in the future. Unfortunately, after experiencing the payment issues and the uncomfortable room conditions, we have decided that we will not be staying here again. I hope the hotel will improve its reception service, payment handling procedures, and room maintenance to prevent other guests from going through the same experience.

The room was terrible...the smell of bath room(not only mine, another room of my companion said, too). The front desk service was good, but their speech was unclear to the point that I had to ask multiple times, and the Wi-Fi password was written in a way that was impossible to read... I don't recommend it, and I don't want to.

The location was great, not too packed and peaceful area. The room were comfortable with good AC temperature as it was not freezing cold or too hot. The price is definitely valuable as the hospitality, food and room was top tier. I come here to stay for 1 night for an interview, but it was so good that I would come again just for vacation in KL.

When i first entered my room, i slot the card onto the key slot and all ok, but less then 30 seconds later the room went dark, and i cant switch on the lights. the hotel changed my room. the new room works fine. so i tried to boil the water to make my tea. the kettle didnt work. so the hotel changed to another kettle that works. i asked where is the prayer direction sign. the recep asked me to look in the drawer but couldnt find anything. later an attendant came over and used his handphone to determine the prayer direction. after i did my prayers, i asked for more bottled water. the attendant came with the extra bottles and told me the prayer sign is actually near the top light. yes, i found it but because it was too near the light, it was not noticeable, you have to squint your eye to see it. they should not put the sign too near the lights. then i realised the actual prayer direction was opposite of what the attendant told me earlier. sigh...

Parking The parking system is the worst nightmare.Exit point is confusing and scary.This parking problem will bring down the image and rating of the Hotel. Even if you use wake to exit,the waze will be be confused

The room was clean and the bed, linen, pillows felt fresh. The amenities worked fine. The breakfast offering was decent and as advertised (western and oriental food options).

We were initially assigned a larger room but because there was a strong cigarette smell in the corridor and in the room, we requested to change and only a smaller room was available. There’s no stationery (paper or pen) and no cutlery (no plate, no spoon/fork, disposable wooden stirrer instead of teaspoon). One or two power points did not seem to work.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed our time here. The room was comfortable, everything was clean, and the facilities were great. My baby especially loved the bathtub and had so much fun playing in it. After that, he slept so soundly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. However, there was one issue that disappointed me. I made my reservation a week in advance and requested a simple birthday decoration for my husband. Although the hotel kindly agreed to the request, our room was not ready on time. We arrived at around 3:15–3:20 PM, but only received our room key at about 4:00 PM. What disappointed me most was that no one at the front desk explained the reason for the delay or apologized for the inconvenience. In addition, the check-in process could have been much better. The staff did not clearly explain the parking arrangements or whether breakfast was included with our booking. I had to ask about everything myself instead of being informed proactively. Despite these issues, we still had a wonderful stay, and I appreciate the hotel's hospitality. I hope the front desk team can improve their communication and provide clearer information during check-in, as it would make the guest experience even better.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, every staff member was warm, friendly, and exceptionally helpful. The entire process—from check-in, breakfast, and throughout my stay until check-out—was seamless and well-managed. I truly appreciated how courteous, professional, and soft-spoken the staff were. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful service provided by the hotel staff. When I saw a staff member outside my room and requested an extra bottle of mineral water, he kindly asked if I would like a coffee machine to be arranged in my room. As a coffee lover, my answer was definitely a yes! This was such a lovely surprise and a wonderful personal touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. This is only the second time I have experienced such a thoughtful gesture from a hotel, with my first experience of having a coffee machine provided being during my stay in Brussels. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the kind gesture of allowing me a late check-out. My meeting only finished at noon, and I needed to return to the hotel to freshen up before rushing to catch my flight. This thoughtful arrangement made my departure much more convenient and stress-free. Dorsett, thank you for making my stay such a pleasant and memorable experience. Your excellent hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care from your team truly made a difference. I will definitely be back again and look forward to staying with you in the future.

i had a very pleasant stay in dorsett hartamas. they welcomed us with complimentary drinks at the lobby. then i informed about having a bday celebration for my kid. they actually put an effort to decorate the room and provide us a slice of scrumptious cake! there’s a pool with nice view too! i can see the palace from the top! their service is exceptional! totally recommended to come here! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ defo will come again!

Very strategic location for business atmosphere. Room very clean and value for money. At night you can sleep very well without any disturbance. At level 27 they do have rooftop chill area with amazing views while you are having your coffee at night.

The location was excellent with easy access to the mall which is just beside the hotel. The vibe was soothing enough and suits with my style. The staff was really helpful and friendly as they catered to every questions from me. The price for the room was remarkably reasonable for this quality of service. The room was immaculate and bed was cozy for me to get enough rest. The amenities of the room was complete and suits with the needs. You dont need to worry about noises as there are none of this disturbance occurs during my stay.

We liked the Nespresso coffee capsules and machine supplied, the swimming pool and the comfy bed.

We didn't like the very hot lifts, that the bar beside the pool was not part of the hotel so couldn't charge drinks and food to our room, and that our room didn't have a window.
