Spacious, location was good.

There was no hot water in bathroom. Teacups were dirty on the outside. No milk was left to make hot drink on arrival.

We came here last year. Lovely hotel with a lovely breakfast. Staff were lovely n friendly. This is why we wanted to come back. This year it seems to of changed so much. We arrived. They informed us that the kitchen was closed. We have a hamper in our room. No explanation on why the kitchen had closed. We was told by a member of staff that this had been closed since beginning of July 2026. We hadn't been informed that this was the case. The question is why was this kitchen closed??? I was so surprised at this. If I wanted a continental breakfast I would of asked for one. No hot breakfast. Just Cereal.. fruit juice.. pasty.. orange.. apple.. one bowl between us both too. No where to sit only the bed to have breakfast. We come on holiday to be looked after. We cud of got this in a caravan!! Plus we had to go out every morning for breakfast. This cost us more money as we didnt want cereal etc. We have that all year around when we are busy working every day.

No lovely breakfast. No staff on after 11pm. No staff until 10ish. Went into the hotel one night to have a drink and no one at the bar to serve us. We waited 10 mins then went to our room without a drink. In a emergency no one answered the phone that was on the door. My partner had to let someone in that was staying as they had 2 room keys instead of a front door n room key. Cobwebs in room Hole in wall. Such a disappointing time in this hotel this year. We was told that we r not the 1st to complain and im sure we wont be the last. I spoke to 2 couples that had been last year n their views was the same. I can honestly say that its not the best holiday we have had. Especially as we was here last year and had a lovely time.

Once we had been moved from our original allocated room to one of the apartments we were happy with the accommodation.which was excellent.

The original room had no working overhead lighting. Also we were expecting a cooked breakfast instead of the hamper provided in the room. It would have been appreciated if we could have been made aware of this.

Too hot in the bedroom we had no control to turn the radiator down ,when enquired at reception no one came back to us so made 2 uncomfortable nights even with the window and fan on just moved warm air around the room noise from the toilet system most the time

The overall accommodation was good as travelling with my Labrador. It’s was central to our requirements and a park just round corner as well as beach across road is bonus with dog. The bedroom was clean and bed comfortable. Tv just right size. En-suite was clean and everything worked:

Prefer breakfast that is cooked and not a picnic basket. But that is personal choice. I’m lactose intolerant but hadn’t let them know in fairness.

No mirror or area to do hair(piece of mirror glass supplied when requested). No free wi fi as advertised,kept cutting out when up in room. Paid for extra data in the end. Breakfast was adequate but had to sit on bed to eat it. Very warm but nowhere to stand the fan on. Window didn't shut and could push open,but noise from the gables 2.30 in the morning people arguing. Fridge on floor and when in bed had to prop the breakfast basket on top of bin! One bedside table the other had the kettle etc.. on. Was in Yarmouth for a family funeral so was hard enough. No room door handle,my partner has arthritis in her fingers which was difficult and loud when shutting. Simple things could have made the stay better but feel it's gone downhill as we have stayed here before. Will not return as over £100 a night expecting the basics is not unreasonable. Sorry won't be returning. On a plus side the staff were polite.

Family room fine for two adults and two teens, plus two dogs! Perfect location and great to have parking onsite.

We knew the breakfast was supplied in a hamper (which is fine), but for a family of four, it would have been ideal to have four bowls for us to use, and not just two bowls. There were no plates to eat our croissants or muffins on either - had to eat from the packet.

Loved the location it was just across the road from the beach. The breakfast hamper was refilled daily. We had breakfast cereals (kellogs, weetabix, oats and granola), croissants, fruit, water, milk, tea & coffee, yoghurt, mixed nuts, a small chocolate and a cake or biscuits. The mini fridge in the room was quite big. There is a kettle in the room. The beds were made daily and you are provided with two pillows each. The bedding was soft and clean. The bed frames, shelving and bedside tables were nice and modern. The bedside tables even have usb and plug sockets in them. The towels provided were big, clean and soft. You are supplied with soap, shampoo conditioner and body wash. It was clean where it needed to be. (Beds, toilet, sink, fridge). There are some games and books provided in the bar seating area that you can use.

It was a bit dusty for example around the bathroom pipes or on a high shelf. The carpets were light colour and show stains easily. Although the beds were nice they were slightly short for my partner who is 5'7 and he was a bit uncomfortable with his legs on the bottom bar.

The staff wernt the best, not very helpful, late allowing is to check in and one room wasnt ready even an hour after check in time so demanded another one that was ready! Also on a previous stay we had a cooked breakfast, this time its changed with just a hamper on bed of yoghurt fruit and croissants, nothing was said about this changing at time of booking so very disappointed

The person checking in was very unprofessional, the room was tiny. The worst part was being locked out at 9:30pm - luckily another guest came to our rescue however had it not been for him we would have been without a place to stay, really poor management

Disapointed, booked through booking.com and paid for a breakfast to later find out if was no longer a cooked breakfast, so my young son couldnt eat any of the hamper breakfast so ended up paying out another £60 on breakfasts, which made the hotel massively over priced for our 3 night stay. Couldve gone to Spain cheaper. that being said staff where lovely, and helpful. Multiple issues tv remote not working so couldnt use the tv, shower not working for first two days until we figured out that it came on and off with the flick of a switch hidden low near the floor. Have stayed before for half of what we paid this time this time last year and had a graat breakfast. This time disappinting and will not stay again. Double the price and no breakfast... Not good.

The breakfast was ok . The hamper wasn't refilled completely for the next day. The first day the fruit was not fresh. Would of like fresh milk in the fridge.Also the tea and coffee was not replenish either. We couldn't have a shower as precooked but got a complementary drink for the inconvenience. The room needed some TLC. Wiping down the walls from the tea and coffee stains. Would of liked matching mugs. No knife when butter was provided and not spoons for breakfast sonyou can eat your cereal.

Lovely friendly service for my late check in. Beautiful ground floor sea view room with a huge bay window and everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

Shower could have benefitted from a soap dish/shower gel tray but that's a very minor issue.

The room was not good facilities was poor mantinence, run hot water and the radiator in the room was red hot, the worst hotel we have ever been in, we only stayed 1 night not two ,our breakfast was in a hamper on our bed when we arrived ,there is no food available at all ,we paid for bed and breakfast not in a basket.

My daughter’s room had a broken toilet seat which was cracked. And my room had no hot water at all coming out of any of the taps , and therefore I had to boil a kettle to have a wash. when I spoke to the cleaner ladies the nest morning one of them said yes that’s right some of them don’t have any water and the reception lady should have told you!! I mean wtf. As for a good breakfast it was a basket of cereal ect you have in your room.

Cleanliness, room not as described, no shower over bath although fixtures and curtain was there, broken light above basin, extractor fan not working, no chain on basin plug, windows wouldn’t shut, general decor poor, tea stains on walls. We were without hot water for 24hrs, poor communication from management, left site and left bar staff to deal with customers, was advised to use leisure centre facilities which was over a mile away.

No cooked breakfast, no one there at night for security, bar was shut because they didn’t have a licence room, carpet in room was dirty and split, showers didn’t work, room hot no ventilation, bed was small my feet hang over the end of bed, and it was metal bed you moved it made a noise.

To be honest there wasn’t much good to say about the property it was clean and had off road parking

Rooms are cramped no hot water in any of the 4 rooms we had booked and in our room the shower didn’t work at all. Small fridge that also didn’t work. The breakfast was a poor continental breakfast and the milk was off. Staff wasn’t about till 1030am which isn’t good if need anything or needed help as you have to wait around but all you want to do is get off for day. We only stopped 2 nights but we wanted to get out as not being able to have a shower and a decent wash is not acceptable. We know we aren’t the only ones this weekend who has complained or been very dissatisfied with this hotel .

We stayed this time on the ground floor, which suited us perfectly, but felt the shower room certainly needs improvement!! And also the door to come in has a big gap at top so you hear lots of noise. Also although continental breakfast was very good, in previous years we had a cooked breakfast which certainly would be our preference

The staff member who booked us in gave us a warm and friendly greeting, showed us where to go and where the night time entrance was if we needed it. The "in room" breakfast hamper was a first for us and was lovely enabling us to get up and ready in our own time rather than having to be down for a certain serving time. Suited us just fine.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the area is near the beach and attractions the price is great especially with dogs going free and free breakfast

Needed a good clean in places; shower head was brown and needed a good scrub Toilet leaked and there was no working light in the bathroom Bar was out of service for most of the time of my stay therefore no other guests around and no refreshments available in the evening

The staff,in particular a lady named Claire, helped me so much. I am nearly 80,and was not sure about the hotel,s routines,and she was very kind and made our stay enjoyable

The steps

A warm welcome and clear explanation from the host. Room was easily accessible and had two large beds. Breakfast in the form of a generous hamper. Table top fridge had extras in it too. Milk needed to be replaced ( despite it being in date) and that was quickly and efficiently done. Shower had grab rails and was very large. We had super thick white towels and lovely bed linen.

Maybe an upgrade on the decor around certain area in bathroom. This didn't impact our enjoyment of the room though.

Es gibt statt des Frühstücks im Frühstückszimmer nur einen Korb mit Frühstücksutensilien auf'fs Zimmer, aber es ist im Zimmer nicht mal ein Tisch und Stühle, um dort zu essen, man kann den Korb aber mit zum Aufenthaltsraum nehmen. Kaffee etc. muss man auf dem Zimmer machen ist also etwas umständlich. Einiges aus dem Korb konnten wir nicht brauchen, anderes war in zu geringer Stückzahl vorhanden oder haben wir vermisst (gekochte Eier). Anscheinend ist das eine Maßnahme wegen Personalmangels, die Rezeption war auch nur von 10:30 bis ca. 20 Uhr besetzt.

Didn't like the sink in the bedroom, it shud be in the bathroom. Not the cleanest of hotels, the bed was really uncomfortable, I didn't like eating the continental breakfast in the bedroom, no where to sit other than on the bed. But I understand it is just recently under new management so im hoping things will soon change. Would like to go back sometime in the future as Great Yarmouth is a lovely place to visit.

The hotel location is situated opposite the waterways which is lovely and not far from the town centre and pier etc

The hotel is very run down in lots of areas, dirty walls, doors and broken windows, website says refurbished but it didn’t look like it, a breakfast hamper was provided which was nice enough but it would have been good to have known it was a hamper and not a cooked breakfast beforehand, there was no onsite dining options and no staff present after 10pm just a phone number if anything should happen, the hotel security is a very big risk as we were told to use the side door at night which was very difficult to close without pulling it hard and slamming it which disturbs other guests, on numerous occasions the door had been left a jar for just anyone to walk in as there was no staff in sight, the reception / bar hours did not coincide with the hours displayed either so a lot of the time we were unable to even have a drink of any kind, one of the reception staff was also quite abrupt when asked a simple question

The breakfast was just a poor hamper. We stayed at Kenton last year and we had a lovely fight breakfast every morning this year there was no breakfast at the Paul Logan hamper.

We have stayed at this property on a number of occasions. So we knew it would be a comfortable stay. The location is on the seafront directly opposite the beach. Approximately half a mile from the main front entertainment. It has ample parking and the staff are friendly and helpful. This property is also going through a refurbishment.

This time around we were disappointed with our room as the shower was not usable due to the lack of water pressure. Unfortunately this was not able to be fixed, despite Grace the manageress’s best attempts to get it sorted. The cooked breakfast has been taken off the menu with only a continental breakfast available. We were not aware of this until we arrived.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting! It's filthy and there's a complete lack of facilities. No AC? Seriously? Every room feels like a sauna! The TV is outdated and barely works. The shower is tiny, and don't even get me started on the shower curtain—it's covered in mold! The smell in the room is unbearable, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially those with allergies. The breakfast option is only a hamper box. There's barely enough to fill your stomach.

The bed was comfortable, and there was a side view of the sea. The shower was easy to use and worked well.

Breakfast consisted of the contents of a picnic hamper, to be consumed in the room. There was no knife, plate or butter for the croissants. There was nowhere to work, and insufficient plug sockets - the requested extension lead had only two sockets. The main entrance to Reception, the Dining Room & the bar remained closed until after 1000, and guests had to use the night entrance round the back! The lift was ancient, and the button had to be kept pressed all the time, or else it simply stopped!

Very basic. Our room had mould and was incredibly dirty. For £135 it was very basic. There were stains on the curtains as you looked into the room. Walls were covered in stains and marks. Black mould in the bathroom. Toilet didn’t flush properly and the shower curtain was dirty. Breakfast was very poor. Not any selection or food. It was stale and very disorganised. No parking really like stated. I had to pay to park on the road. Very hot and no fans included

We were upgrading to a 1 bed apartment which was brilliant. Location of hotel was perfect

The location. It was perfect for walking to the seafront, pier, restaurants, bars and arcades.

The breakfast changed from full English, to continental, to a hamper in our bedroom within a 5 day stay, with no notice.

The building is lovely. The manager grace and Abby Where lovely. They went beyond to help with my needs. Grace is working hard to make this cute hotel to a standard of high quality. She has not long taken over from the old owner. So is working on the hotel to make it more modern. They offer a lovely continental breakfast. And the bar is open till 10pm. Not to far a walk from the hotel to the pier. Thank you Grace for such a lovely stay. We look forward to returning again very soon. We enjoyed our time so much We stayed an extra night. Tables sticky in communal area, windows dirty and need redecorating. Breakfast only one staff member and ran out of items as well as cold coffee. Staff did replenish. Again tables sticky and cups stuck to table with self help food on it. One day there were eggs the other empty station. Staff very young and didn’t really know how to do any more of them/not interested. No dog sausage. Rooms too much furniture made it hard to move around. Not enough plugs. Very hot in room. One fan but lead no where near plugs to move fan anywhere else. Did not look like photos. One side of double bed lumpy.

Car park available. Easy booking. Easy to book in. Good location for brittania pier and beach. Bedding and furniture looked new, bedroom was good size, bathroom was decent size.

Bathroom - had paint peeling, mirror was dirty, main light didnt work, and was dirty. No cooked breakfast, apart from boiled eggs. Coffee stain on bedroom wall (near window) our shower was ok but another person said theirs ran cold

Lovely Sea view from our bedroom. Good parking. Comfortable room. Continental breakfast was adequate, plenty of it. Shame about the dark dining area. On our second day we took our meals to the front and sat in a bay window. Much nicer. Ground floor layout wastes the lovely bright frontage. Helpful staff.

I had missed the fact that there was a bath but no shower. Problem of access for wife. Noisy workers. Very cheerful but loud conversation, drilling banging was intrusive. Would have appreciated a dressing table. Chairs tucked under the TV not really usable. Bar closed 2000 on our first night. Would have enjoyed a drink when we came back in the evening. Consider an honesty bar?

This hotel is in freefall Mate in room 6 had a shower cubicle with no shower in it. Really needs a lot of work. Worst thing is no breakfast of sorts, switched to help yourself continental Smacks of cost cutting and not in the detail when booked, 3 of us will not return

Not clean! Stains and mould everywhere. No sink in the toilet it’s located in the bedroom however it’s tiny with a shelf above it. Really difficult to use.

The property is at nice location

The bathroom light were not working and the staff did not even bother to get it fixed. They said they cannot do anything and they don’t have any other rooms available. I asked for a portable lamp or some light to use which they said they will arrange. But they did not do arrange that as well. I had to use my phone’s flashlight in the bathroom. The staff could have shown some empathy and could have been a bit helpful in arranging some backup.

The position of the hotel was good for what we wanted

Where do I start ? Twice we couldn't park off the road. When we arrived we were given two keys as normal and told one was for the outer door should we get back after 11pmwhen the bar closed. We arrived back one night at 10.15pm to find the outer door shut and locked. I phoned the hotel there was no reply there was an emergency option which was only an answer machine. I lefta message no-one ever called back. Eventually we got the attention of a guest who let us in. They showed us the night entrance that was on the opposite side of the hotel and completely in the dark, no outside light. There was no cooked breakfast only help yourself continental breakfast that we had not been told about. There were tables in the breakfast room with piles of dirty plates, dishes and glasses on, one day there was an open dustbin in the room full to the top with waste. I didn't have my phone with me or I would have taken a picture. The doors and Stair rails were dirty and sticky to the touch. The carpets in our room ws filthy as we're the edges of the bathroom floor. No cooling fan the room despite the heatwave. There were workmen everywhere in and out of the breakfast room in dirty clothes while the hotel guests were having breakfast, they were decorating the kitchen surlythis shouldbe done out of seas. I could go on !! All in all not nice place to stay we certainly won't be going back.
