Esperienza davvero deludente. Non c’erano né shampoo né sapone per il corpo: tutti i dispenser erano completamente vuoti. Inoltre, il bidet non funzionava. La descrizione della camera indica chiaramente “2 stanze”, ma in realtà si tratta di un’unica stanza semplicemente divisa da una tenda. Una descrizione decisamente fuorviante rispetto a ciò che viene effettivamente offerto. Considerando quanto dichiarato nella prenotazione, trovo la situazione davvero imbarazzante e inaccettabile.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026La ubicación es muy buena, a unos pocos pasos de la plaza San Pedro. El piso estaba muy limpio y es cómodo. Lo mejor de todo es Heraldo, el chico de la recepción y encargado, que es súper amable, estuvo pendiente de que estuviéramos bien, respondía al instante y además nos guardó las maletas con total amabilidad porque nuestro vuelo salía tarde en la noche. Muchísimas gracias.

Power went out and no one answered the 24/7 contact number. The next day we moved to another room and during the day they moved us back but didn’t take all of our stuff out of the room and moved someone else in. I had to go back and get my iPad and bag but other peoples stuff was inside but I just had the code to get in. Your valuables are not safe here they sent a text with all the access codes to everyone’s room to us so we could have gone in anyone’s room. They moved us without telling us and didn’t move all our items and other peoples stuff were in the room so could have taken my iPad headphones and passport. DO NOT STAY HERE

We had paid extra for a superior room which on the website says should include 2 king beds and a sofa bed. We were given a room with only 1 bed and a sofa bed. We asked to be refunded the difference since we had paid extra for 2 normal beds and they refused. Also the apartment was not 100% clean (dirty cups in cupboard and when pulling out the sofa bed there was a bunch of crumbs), when we asked to for extra sheets for the sofa bed the staff delivering them walked in without knocking while someone was in the shower.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Die Lage war top. Auch die Grösse des Appartments war super. Die Einrichtung war sehr schön und hätte Potenzial. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett.
Die Unterkunft war richtig dreckig. Geputzt wird da nur der Boden. Im Kühlschrank waren noch Reste der Vormieter und wir konnten fast sehen was vorher dort gekocht wurde, da so viele Reste rumlagen. Wir hatten ausserdem keine Handtücher, keinen Schwamm und kein Geschirrtücher (wurde erst nach Nachfrage nachgereicht). Und wir konnten leider die kompletten Gespräche der Nachbarn hören, die bevorzugt nachts geredet haben. Zu einer guten Organisation würde auch gehören, die Gäste den richtigen Zimmern zuzuordnen. Ausserdem war die Unterkunft erst 40min später bezugsbereit, sodass wir lange warten mussten

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Emplacement idéal à 2 pas de la Place Saint Pierre. Plusieurs fois à Rome et première fois à Domus Fornaci, vraiment très bien. Nous avons pris le studio qui est plutôt spacieux. La clim a parfaitement fonctionné au vu de la chaleur de ce début Septembre. Le personnel est vraiment très sympa et facilement joignable. Je reviendrai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain séjour !
Ménage à améliorer et petites réparations à faire (poignée de porte et douche)

Well equipped kitchen. Warm and great size shower. Huge windows which open for ventilation.Everything required for a comfortable stay. Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Dejlig stille hotel - kun en anelse larm fra opgangen når folk gik ind og ud. Behagelig seng og der var det, vi skulle bruge - dog manglede vi en proptrækker. Tæt på restauranter og gode pizzeriaer samt dagligvarebutik. Tæt på Peters Kirken og taxa holdeplads.
Vi ankom sent mandag aften og der var desværre ikke redt op til os i sengen, så vi måtte sove første nat uden lagen og betræk. Personalet var meget undskyldende og fik det ordnet med det samme dagen efter. Vi løb tør for kaffekapsler 2 dage før vi skulle forlade lejligheden og gjorde opmærksomme på dette, men fik aldrig fyldt op. Vi købte derfor vores egne. Vi blev overraskede over at nærmeste metro lå ca. 18 minutters gang fra lejligheden, eftersom en af grundene til at vi valgte dette sted var pga de gode anmeldelser omkring beliggenheden. Vi kunne selvfølgelig bare have valgt at tage bussen, men vi havde købt et 3 dages kort til metroen

L’appartamento era in condizioni igieniche pessime: polvere dappertutto, freezer con muffa, ante con briciole, ventolino dell’aria forzata nel bagno in condizioni pietose, capelli nella doccia, nel wc, nel bidet e sotto i letti. Fatta notare subito la cosa, mi è stato risposto che l’indomani avrebbero fatto pulire, peccato che il mio soggiorno sarebbe durato solo una notte. La mattina successiva ho espresso nuovamente le mie rimostranze al momento del check out e francamente mi sarei aspettato anche un rimborso parziale del prezzo dell’alloggio, cosa che non è stata presa nemmeno in considerazione. Non mi sarei mai aspettato tutto questo con la votazione che c’è su Booking.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Idealne miejsce na zwiedzanie Rzymu. Największym atutem jest lokalizacja zaraz przy Watykanie – rano mogliśmy uniknąć największych kolejek do Bazyliki św. Piotra. W okolicy znajduje się mnóstwo świetnych restauracji i kawiarni. Apartament czysty, a personel bardzo miły. Polecam!

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Das einzig Positive an unserem Aufenthalt war die Lage der Unterkunft.
Leider war unsere Erfahrung mit der Unterkunft und insbesondere mit dem Personal sehr schlecht. Bei unserer Ankunft erhielten wir ein anderes Zimmer als das von uns gebuchte. Es fehlte sogar ein komplettes Schlafzimmer. Trotzdem wurde uns zunächst mitgeteilt, dass es sich um das richtige Zimmer handle. Nach unserer Beschwerde wurde uns als Entschädigung eine kostenlose Übernachtung zugesagt. Die entsprechende Rückerstattung haben wir bis heute jedoch nicht erhalten. Trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage erhielten wir weder eine verbindliche Bestätigung noch eine zufriedenstellende Lösung. Das Apartment war sehr dreckig und wir hatten nicht einmal genüg Bettwäsche für die erste nacht und mussten selber improvisieren. Besonders enttäuschend war für uns der Umgang mit der Situation und die Kommunikation des Personals. Wir fühlten uns nicht ernst genommen und mussten wiederholt selbst nachhaken. Aufgrund der weiterhin ausstehenden Rückerstattung werden wir den Fall nun über Booking.com sowie gegebenenfalls über unseren Rechtsschutz weiterverfolgen. Für uns war dies insgesamt eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung und wir würden die Unterkunft nicht erneut buchen.

A l'arrivée on nous a donné un 2 pièces avec 1 chambre et 1 divan lit dans le salon cuisine alors que nous avions réservé et payé un 3 pièces avec 2 chambres comme je n'étais pas d'accord il a fini pour nous donner un second 2 pièces !

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026La posizione è eccezionale, vicino San Pietro e il Gianicolo, in una zona ben servita e piena di locali. Le camere sono spaziose e ben attrezzate. Il personale della reception molto gentile e sempre super disponibile.
Purtroppo la pulizia della stanza non è accurata. Sarebbe da migliorare questo unico aspetto perché la vostra struttura merita. Gli addetti alle pulizie dovrebbero conoscere i dettagli di come si pulisce una stanza: spolverare le superfici, passare l' aspirapolvere sui tappeti e sotto i letti, aprire il frigorifero ed eliminare ciò che è stato lasciato dagli ospiti precedenti, controllare che le stoviglie siano pulite e che i dispenser dei prodotti da bagno siano pieni.

Only issues we had were that the rooms they gave us were great but please be aware that it was seperated by a curtain not a physical door. This was not in the description so was disappointed with that aspect. Also the bed in the main room was out of place of the mattress as if it was an Ill fit for the bed. I informed them and hopefully they have corrected this issue.

No me gustó que el piso tenía mucho polvo, el primer día me dió un poco de alergia. Y debajo de la cama como que nunca aspiran. No se podía estar descalzo. Es lo único negativo

La atención en la recepción fue muy mala. La chica que nos atendió no tuvo un buen trato. Habíamos pedido un sofá cama extra previo a nuestra llegada y no estaba. Finalmente estuvo al segundo día pero tuvimos que cambiarnos de habitación

We had a lot of luggages because we were traveling for 2 weeks and their small elevator could not take more than 1 large luggage and 1 small one. I had to make 3 trips to bring up our luggage.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025The accommodation was a bedroom apartment. It was very spacious with the typical Italian high ceilings, with a large comfortable living area, with kitchen and dining table. Then separate ensuite bathroom and dressing room. It was in a great location to the Vatican just a 5 minute walk from the front door. This was great for us as we'd book to have the Audience with the Pope on Wednesday. Lots of restaurants also on the same road.
Nothing really stood out. When we arrived Alfredo greeted us and said he'd be next door. We noticed there was no toilet roll or soap in our bathroom, but Alfredo immediately sorted this out and apologised. But on the whole a nice place to stay.

No me gustó es que estuvimos 11 dias y solamente dieron una toalla por persona para esos 11 dias. Debieron haber dejado mas toallas. La cama no era muy cómoda, el colchón estaba un poco duro y viejo.

Aucune isolation, on entends les voisins, les portes qui claquent, n'espérez pas pouvoir vous reposer la journée c'est tout bonnement impossible, le personnel d'entretien et aussi très bruyant. La décoration de l'appartement est 'monacale', strict minimum voir dépressif. Parfait si vous venez pour une retraite spirituelle mais pour un weekend en amoureux je ne recommande pas. Pas de rideau dans la chambre, nous avons déplacé celui du salon.

Uma pessoa tocou o interfone e como não atendemos um rapaz que achamos ser do serviço de manutenção simplesmente abriu a porta e entrou no quarto causando desconforto e insegurança. Péssima experiência!

Tinha alugado um apartamento para 4 pessoas e ofereceram um upgrade em que disponibilizaram outro apartamento o que foi muito agradável e facilitou e potencializou imenso a nossa estadia!!!

You can hear the people in the neighboring flats, but it's not terrible. We had an issue with the internet on the first day, but the staff resolved it quickly. A washing machine would be a good addition; the flat we stayed in didn’t have one.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2025La ubicación es fántastica. El apartamento nuevo. Y se puede hacer el checkin a cualquier hora, lo que te da libertar para llegar tarde el dia del viaje. Habia algunas "cosillas" que reparar, de tema de mantemimiento, de poca importancia, y al día siguiente vinieron a repararlo. Muy bien!!
Nos gusto todo!!- Esta perfecto para ir en familia. Muy tranquilo, sin ruidos del exterior y 200 m de San Pedro. La unica pena es haber estado solo 4 noches, porque nos hubieramos quedado todo el mes de lo bien que estabamos.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2025La ubicación es maravillosa, estas a dos cuadras de la plaza San Pietro, el Vaticano, tienes cerca muy buenos restaurantes, mini mercados, lavandería, la flota de bus está a una cuadra, la estación del tren esta a 3 cuadras.
Hice reserva para cuatro personas y solo había una cama doble y una cama sencilla, por ende me toco dormir en el suelo, literal. Tuve un problema con la aerolínea de una maleta y la aerolínea me dijo que se había puesto en contacto con el número que hay ahí en Sonder y le dieron una dirección distinta para la entrega de la maleta, nunca me informaron nada, la maleta resulto en otra dirección, la persona que contestó en Sonder poco amigable.

Reviewed Jul 28, 2025Thank you very much! We had a beautiful stay in a good location near the Vatican. You can see most of the sights just by walking. The apartment was clean and well-prepared. The reconstruction was done in a modern way. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the cold water and ice in the fridge were a really nice surprise in the summer weather. Overall, I would like to say that the online support is unbelievable! Nothing is a problem when you chat with them! They answer in a few seconds. Thank you very much, Paul. You are the man for the job. I give you 5 stars out of 5. Keep up the good work!

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025Excellent location, close enough to Rome central for us to walk everywhere. The apartment itself was well equipped & clean, in a beautiful courtyard . Easily accessible & spacious. Very comfortable. A variety of restaurants on our doorstep, a launderette & supermarket!
There was nothing we didn’t like, however if I were to be picky. The aesthetic of the apartment was attractive but not functional, oversized bedside lamps which left no space to use the bedside tables or open the wardrobe door. There was also no bathroom hooks for towels. Sonder staff were always a message away for anything we needed. We opted for a later checkout @a minimal fee & also for the apartment to be cleaned midweek which was a welcome addition.

Very basic for a property associated with Marriott. No hooks or towel bars in the bathroom. WiFi was terrible! Air conditioning blower in the main room was not cleaned. Pieces of dirt kept falling to the floor. Mattress in the bedroom is thin and can feel the bed frame. Requested for a third set of towels (we are a family of 3). After exchanging messages, discovered that extra set of towels was kept inside a zipped bag in the cupboard.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2025The apartments are in a prime location near the Vatican and St. Pietro station. The apartment was very spacious and fully equipped. With outside temperatures reaching 36 degrees, the two air conditioners were a real relief. The price/quality ratio is excellent.
Because they had switched to a different system, I couldn’t view the access code online. However, I quickly got in touch with a staff member through the app and received the code within 10 minutes.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2025It was a great stay, very clean and very communicative across booking.com messaging. There were no staff or reception but very well organized. Had no troubles at all with entry codes, etc. Location was fantastic, right across Piazza San Pietro, close to Roma San Pietro station and opposite to Fornaci and Cavaleggeri bus stops. Very well connected across Rome. Also since we were looking for a home away from home, the kitchenette, the bathroom and the comfy bedrooms felt like coming back home after a whole day’s touring around Rome. We really missed leaving the place. Thank you Sonder! We will surely return again and will recommend anyone who wishes to visit Rome.
