Located right on the harbour with fantastic views Central for The Old Town and bars, restaurants and shops Everything in the room that you might need and a great little balcony to have breakfast on and to people watch in the evening (too hot to sit on for long in the afternoon!) Bottle of wine on arrival and tour from the owner was a great touch!

Can be noisy, we were woken at 5.30am by people heading home. The windows and door do a great job of keeping the room quiet. However, its a trade off, location for peace and quiet...one we were aware of and were more than happy to make. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs!

Everything. The only regret was I didn’t book the room with the terrace. We had the equally I’m sure as well appointed room with the balcony …but having access to two sun beds would have been like hitting the jackpot twice. Lampros the owner always answered messages promptly. Offered useful information and I reckon he’d be a great mate …as usual Aussies would say.

Our stay at 1924 Suites was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our time in Crete. The location could not have been more perfect — right in the center of the beautiful and lively Venetian Port, surrounded by everything. The balcony views were simply amazing and made every morning and evening feel special. The suite itself had everything we could possibly need during our stay. It was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. A very special thank you to Lampros, who was an exceptional host from beginning to end. He was incredibly welcoming, kind, and took the time to show us everything we needed to know about the room and the area. His hospitality truly made a difference in our experience. Everything about our stay was amazing, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Chania.

The terrace, the view and the layout

The stairs were a bit treacherous for myself with an injured knee. But for the view you must climb the stairs.

The apartment was perfect!! It was spacious, clean, updated and had an amazing Terrace that couldn’t be beat.

Great communication with Rampos - really helped us find lovely restaurants and even booked a fabulous one for new years night. Nothing too much trouble!! Would highly recommend.

The stay was amazing. The location is perfect, and the view from the balcony over the Venetian harbor is simply unforgettable. The apartment is bright, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully prepared with high-quality details. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming us personally and always available for any questions. We loved it so much that we would have gladly stayed another week!

We enjoyed our recent stay at 1924 Suites; we had the balcony room and loved the view. The welcome wine and souvenir provided by the owner Lampros, were nice surprises! We loved the high ceiling, several big windows for natural light, comfortable bed, and decor. The bathroom set up worked fine for us - the shower is located opposite side of the room from the sink and toilet. The A/C unit works fine when you follow the instructions that Lampros provides. We appreciated the restaurant suggestions from Lampros as well - we enjoyed dinner at one of his recommendations. The location is great for time in old town Chania. We had a car, so parked overnight in a free lot that was short 10min (if that) walk away. We were able to drop the suitcases upon check-in by temporarily parking near the property.

One of our nights was a Saturday which may have contributed to a bit more of a lively evening. There was music and partying nearby into the early hours of night so sleeping wasn't the best - the windows/doors do a decent job reducing noise but that particular night it was hard to block out music in neighboring restaurants/bars.

Great unbeatable location. Host was very accommodating and quickly helped with all questions. Beach towels and umbrella were very useful. Coffee on the balcony overlooking the sea was great. Being so close to all interesting places within walking distance was the best advantage.

We knew breakfast wasn’t included or expected and there are no cooking facilities but coffee and tea is available and there is a fridge with freezer compartment. You are in the heart of Chania Town which is buzzing day & night! The view from the roof terrace are fantastic view to the harbour. Lampros was a great host, very informative.

There is nothing not too like about the 1924 suites

The property was a PERFECT location in Chania. Nearby everything you need as a traveler. The room is adorable, clean, comfortable, with a wonderful view from the balcony. The host was fantastic: walked us through the room at check in, provided a nice bottle of wine, and shared a list of his local favorite spots.

We had a fantastic stay at 1924 Suites! The suite was very comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the terrace was absolutely spectacular with breathtaking views. The location couldn't be better-walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, and all the charm of Chania. From the moment we booked, the owner was extremely attentive. He reached out right away, helped us arrange transportation from the port and later to the airport, and even shared wonderful food recommendations that made our trip extra special. All in all, this was one of the best places I've stayed. Chania is an incredible destination, and staying at 1924 Suites made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Our host was fantastic! He was so accommodating and had a ton of recommendations on places to eat, local insider tips, etc. The apartment was beautiful and large. It is in an excellent location- right on the harbor!- but you don't hear the noise outside, the windows are very well insulated.

Amazing stay and exceptional location, views and host Lampros. He took care of us throughout our stay as our flight got delayed more than four hours as well as dropping us off to another location nearby because the taxi would have taken over an hour to pick us up. The harbour location and views from our rooms and terrace was to die for, we really couldn’t have asked for anything more!

The apartment is modern, perfectly clean and really well equipped with everything that you might need. The host was really friendly and accommodating and made sure he was available to message with any queries. The location is perfect with a lovely balcony over the busy square below. I thought the noise from below might have been an issue but as soon as you closed the doors, you could no longer hear it. We had a thoroughly enjoyable few days here.

This was an exceptional large apartment finished to a high standard. The roof terrace was well equipped and the views of the harbour and surrounding area were to die for. Lampros the owner was super helpful, friendly and provided us with a very warm welcome. The apartment was in the heart of the old harbour close to dozens or restaurants and cafes. A wonderful place to spend a few days or a few weeks. Highly recommended.

The room was absolutely lovely: five knee-to-ceiling windows overlooking the port of Chania on one side, and the snow-covered mountains on the other. The walls are brick, the furniture new and modern, and the amenities complete. The location was perfect, exactly in the center of old Chania, close to everything. Lampros made himself available to us at all times, to answer questions and give advice (e.g. about villages to visit in the mountains). We even accidentally went to stay an extra day (which I thought I had reserved, but hadn’t) and he was extremely gracious about that, finding a way to make it work. Honestly, this was one of the best stays I have had anywhere in all my travels.

The two long flights of stairs were challenging for me, but not for my kids. The only thing lacking was breakfast, which we had in our other hotels. But this was a small thing, compared to how wonderful everything else was.

Lampros was so incredibly helpful! He met us at the property, helped us with our bags, told us about the area and recommended several places for us to check out. He even provided extra sheets and blankets for us to set up the couch to sleep on as well. Before we left, he gifted us with a picture of us on his beautiful balcony, overlooking the water- we will definitely recommend this suite for others to stay!

The most amazing property in the centre of Chania. Super convenient, the decor is beautifully done. We had such an enjoyable stay. Very comfortable and the host has thought of everything to make your stay the most perfect stay. Look no further for your hotel in Chania!

Where do you start with such an exceptional experience? The whole apartment was perfect and beautifully designed down to every last detail. The host Lampros was professional, welcoming and helpful in all his recommendations. Thank you for the Neorai fish restaurant tip - we went there twice it was so good. It was so enjoyable to sit on that balcony to watch the area burst into life every morning, (while being perfectly quiet inside, if anyone is wondering.) Fab bed, pillows, bathroom...everything. This is the sort of place that makes memories. Thank you.

The property was beautiful and had an amazing location!

Due to the location of the property, it got slightly loud at night, but we knew that going in and we had no issues sleeping due to noise, we could just hear it while we were awake. Definitely not a deterrent from staying there! I would go back in a heartbeat.

The aircon wasn’t working properly the first night so we told him in the morning and it was fixed by the time we came back from our day at the beach, plus he had given us a fan! Incredible service. Apartment is gorgeous and the view is great. Location in Chania could not be better with loads of restaurants, bars and shops on our doorstep but very little noise heard inside.

When I saw the rooftop picture, I told my wife that we should stay there. What I didn´t know is that the rooftop was exclusive for my villa! My wife, daughter and I were astonished not only by the view, but also because the place was so great! And the owner, Lampros, was extremely nice and helpful. He has it all figured out, his receiving brief was the best I have ever seen in hotels/villas, everything thought in advance. He and his wife refurbished and redecorated an old building and made this great place possible. We had 2 stories + private rooftop for ourselves, in the very heart of Chania! Thanks Lampros for all and I hope we can go back again! We will surely recommend 1924 to our friends in Chile !

Great apartment with a big terrace with the absolute best view to the Venetian harbour in Chania. Lamprous, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Very central location so there is no car needed, you can walk by foot through all the nice streets in the old town and to the lighthouse.

When we chose our room we did because the booking says the property offers a terrace, and the first photo shows the terrace with lounge chairs and a beautiful view. When we arrived we were told that was not the room we booked. It is false advertising . The first photo I am posting is the one that says it has a terrace. We were very disappointed when we only had a balcony. The owner needs to specify clearly that you will not get the rooftop.

Very difficult to find a parking spot near the property on arrival. Telephoned the owner who advised to park across the road barrier whilst we unloaded the cases.

The host was so informative, the property was nicely renovated, the property was in a spectacular location and still quiet at night!

I loved everything!

I really cannot find fault with this property. I had an expectation of what it would be like when booking from the pictures but it far exceeded those. Spacious, clean, quirky and all the mod cons you would need. The terrace is the showstopper with unbelievable views of the harbour and lighthouse. This is even better at night when everything is alight. The host was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to see that we were well settled and prepared for our stay. A lovely gift from the host was the cherry on the cake. If I had to find anything negative (and I’m really searching here), the fairy lights on the terrace could do with an update as some didn’t work and others were dim. That had no impact on the quality of our stay though. Would 100% recommend

Truly amazing! I am not sure there is a better location in Chania, as the 1924 suites are truly in the heart of it all offering one of the best views throughout all of our travels across Greece. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating, offering us amazing recommendations to restaurants and activities. The unit itself was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and cozy while offering plenty of open space to relax and unwind after touring around all Chania has to offer. If you're planning to visit Chania, I am not sure there is a better place to book, as this truly has it all.

The location was perfect. Very comfortable accommodation, impeccable, everything in the right place. Most accommodating and generous host.

One of the best views in the Mediterranean from the apartment's terrace. The people of Crete are so kind and helpful, as was Lampros the host, who deal with the minor issue that cropped up immediately. The standard and quality of the accommodation was second to none.

Be prepared for the stairs, we were expecting them, but still a bit of an effort in our age group.

Location, modern and spacious, very clean, soundproofed from the busy square and port area that it overlooked, large modern shower and separate toilet room.

The balcony doors would often open up when sitting on the balcony which would result in the air conditioning automatically shutting off. This would result in the room becoming uncomfortably warm. It would be useful to have a latch on the outside of the balcony door to prevent this.

Amazing space! Suite is very big with 2 levels, 2 full bathrooms, and an additional super large balcony overlooking Chania. Highly recommend!!

We loved 1924 suites. It was a perfect location above busy Chania. A gorgeous balcony overlooking the old town. We had the deluxe suite with the balcony. Lampros was a brilliant host and gave us brilliant hotel recommendations for restaurants. He even printed us a fridge magnet with a photo he took of us on our balcony. I’m a very fussy traveller and this exceeded all expectations. The room was clean, and had everything we needed including amenities. I’d say if you are a light sleeper then bring ear plugs as Chania is quite loud at night but didn’t bother us at all. I’d definitely be recommending this to my friends and family, and would stay again if I’m in Crete again.
