I love the support from the staff over the support and commitment of me proposing to my girlfriend they went above and beyond my expectations
Nothing the staff was amazing
Very clean
The walk to the other hotel across the road. Had to turn the tv off via the socket
everything
nothing
Clean and great location
Reception are abit small and that you have to walk across for breakfast
Breakfast was excellent- even if we had to go over the road for it!
Bed and pillows not comfortable.
Nothing whatsoever - it’s a loud pub with rooms - not a hotel.
The room was stinking of food and tobacco - being over a kebab shop - the warning in room was no smoking / vape and no drugs ! God knows who stays here - the bed headboard had skin imprint of a hand palm - carpets stained - overall shocking .
Ideal location, easy parking and very welcoming hotel
Nothing not to like
We love where the hotel is situated its like a little hub of friendly places Our upgraded room looked out over it all...we were seeing the Jersey Boys show at the Grand next door and this has access from the hotel so you dont even have to go outside Everything about this hotel is welcoming and friendly The room was spotless with a comfortable bed with lovely fresh bed linen My friend and i are looking forward to our next stay in November 🙂 Thankyou
Cannot fault it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Location and staff, hotel is great 👍
Nothing
Location perfect , reduced price car park
Constant beat of music on repeat all through the night
Everything was spotless, the room and bar areas were very nice, and the staff were brilliant
Breakfast was located in a different building across a main road, so we skipped it
Clean friendly and great location.
Nothing
Good breakfast.Very friendly staff.
Not having to go to the sister hotel across the road for breakfast.
Location
Had to go to sister pub for happy hour x
Great location friendly helpful staff
Would have liked fresh milk for tea and coffee in bedroom
Loved it all, great welcome from staff, nice room, food fabulous ( across the road at sister Hotel the Bold ) upmarket feel , this company have raised the bar at Southport which suffers from a dearth of good accommodation generally. Would highly recommend and a great deal through booking.com . We will be back
Being picky, no toaster on the Breakfast buffet area ( hot meal order taken separately ) but did bring toast with the full breakfast , seriously I'd be struggling to find anything to complain about.
Location and bars
The tiny window that looked out over an extraction unit and messy yard. Every time a toilet flushed in the hotel, the water rushed down a pipe encase near our headboard.
Didn’t have breakfast Modern bathroom and room good tv
View from room was air conditioning units and roof
Great room and very good staff.
Room clean
Noise no sleep at all
Everything
No water in room
How quiet and clean and tidy it was staff very helpfull
Before checking out I stripped the beds ready for the cleaners I was disappointed with the state of the blankets absolutely diabolical the bedding I would of liked a second bedroom with having 2 children
Location
Restaurant was closed on sun/Mon/ Tues/
Clean comfortable room pleasant staff and a good location.
Nothing to complain about.
Offered a Free upgrade due to our booked room nit going ready, excellent service
Could have done with dome bottled water in Room and biscuits with the Tea making facilities
Location was very central
No plug sockets near a mirror had to ring reception for an extension lead so could do hair in front of the mirror. The lighting in the room was terrible too

Lovely and clean, great location, nice and quiet considering it was on a main street, excellent service, definitely book again.
Breakfast over the road,,not very warm, buffet style .
Staff were lovely. Need a full length mirror somewhere in the room. Small swivel mirror in the bathroom wouldn't stay vertical, so useless. No toiletrys.
Helpful staff, lovely hotel and great room we stopped in.
Everything was good
The air con! The size of the suite
Basic tea tray, no complimentary water in the fridge. Needs more attention to detail with housekeeping
So clean, so friendly, best sleep ive had in ages, bed and pillows so comfy

Break fast across road at Bold
I am a regular visitor here and cannot beat the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel
I was not happy with the view from my room and was immediately moved to a room at the front of the hotel
On the very edge of the centre.
Nothing to dislike about the property. Ideal for a weekend get away. Had to cross over the road for breakfast. But was worth it. Was very good. All staff were very friendly.
Location. Football was on good atmosphere

Everything good location Good food Good staff
Had to slam door on room That’s only bad thing
Great location. Lovely clean and well appointed room. Friendly staff. Perfect!
Convenient location on Lord Street. The room was nicely refurbished and modern. We judge by bathrooms - this one was great.
We didn’t expect much of a view but it wasn’t great; seeing the air conditioning spaghetti of pipes and cables, and flat roof that had better days. We just kept the blinds closed. I probably should have checked it had a king size bed - it only had a double. I think other rooms had king size - so my fault.
Clean everything in room you need
All good
Value for money and cleanliness
Parking limited
The staff, decor and cleanliness of the room. Nice fresh rooms, really comfy bed. Tea, coffee making facilities. Fridge and ironing board. Great size tv.
The room we stayed in were opposite houses which could see into the room Had to keep closing the curtains just to get changed, need some privacy blinds fitting. Also windows are single glazed so it can be quite noisy. Room was beautiful but missing a few things, such as full length mirror and towel rails.
Location
Location, breakfast was lovely.
Nothing, would have been nice to have had a bottle of water in the room.
Great historic building in superb condition with modern touches
Nothing not to like
Location was central to cafes, bars shops
Onsite restaurant
Great location great room just what we wanted

Location
Slamming doors all night.
Second time we've stayed, and a wonderful time we had. We brought our disabled son to celebrate his birthday, and Zoe couldn't do more for us. The family room was perfect, and the location is central for what we wanted. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
Room and staff
The veiw
Central to Southport. Air con in the room on the hottest days. Could drop our bags off earlier.
Don't think there was anything.
Great location. Trendy. Friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms.
Smart modern place clean tidy Had a sports bar in a good location
We wasn’t warned that our room was right next to the main kitchen extraction system so was making a right noise through the night so sleeping wasn’t easy , an the receptionist staff didn’t seem very friendly our welcoming at all!
the breakfast should be at least like the level of beauty of the hotel, please send me the invoice copy
more choices of food more fruits more vegetable.
Upon arrival the lady on the reception was wonderful then 2mins later with the same beautiful smile served me a drink 10/10
The noise as on a main road didn't spoil it one bit but as so hot needed windows open so occasional times was bit noisy
Central location
Nothing
The room was small and I booked a double by mistake.
The room was small but it was my mistake I should have booked a king size bed!!!!!
The staff were really nice polite n very helpful
We needed disabled access room but it was not in use due to faults with the bathroom, we got upgraded to a bigger room which was really nice but the bathroom was not good for my disabled husband so he couldn't have a shower as there was no disabled rails n the toilet was behind the door makin it very difficult for me to get him to the toilet as he cant walk n has a wheelchair which I had to manager alot to get access to toilet which was far to low for him, very stressful for him n myself
Great location and comfortable bed. Most staff were friendly and helpful.
We paid extra for a suite, which was lovely, but the shower ahead was broken and wouldn't angle so we had to stand right underneath it with the shower hose in the way. We reported it but nothing was done. We stayed on a Saturday night and, despite being on the third floor, loud music with a heavy bass could be heard until we'll after midnight, even though we closed the window - on a hot night - and had ear plugs. We weren't told until after booking, breakfast was taken across the road in a sister hotel. The buffet breakfast food was not very good, it seemed to be of poor quality and not very exciting. Very disappointing.
Close to town , what we needed at the time , staff lovely , very clean
Room we stayed in had wet room bathroom and shower totally soaked whole bathroom the way the water drained so inc toilet and sink area . Was clean though
Modern clean room very spacious
The air conditioning would t work and the lights kept tripping out . It was very noisy so didn’t get to sleep until 2am

Nothing
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious room and good air con.
Lamp didn’t work but not a big deal, blinds slightly dusty.
Room size and location
Breakfast being served over the road, however the breakfast was really nice and the bold is excellent
Good location and bar and outside seating area was good with the big screen showing sports
The bathroom in room 109 stunk of drains and bed was small and no light bulb in the lamp
My husband recently spent many nights here due to travelling from Canada for a family emergency. I called reception and spoke to Elise, having explained the situation. Elise went above and beyond to accommodate my requests at a time that really mattered. Elise please know that your actions meant the world to us! Thanks so much 🥰

Location,staff and the hotel
Lovely room , lush bar
Very clean and modern bathrooms
The staff were very nice. Room comfortable and spacious. Loved the air con and the mini fridge. Bed was very comfortable.
The only issue was the shower. Water pressure was very low.
Its location is really good, close to everything. The room was spotless and plenty of room in it, bed was very comfortable. I requested an accessible room without stairs & they made sure that I was accommodated. The receptionist, I think here name was Aleesa ? Couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, she is a little gem. I could have chatted to her for hours, she is a credit to you at the hotel. Every other member of staff we encountered were extremely friendly, which is so nice. I will be back again & will be making sure that we stay here on our next visit.
Its a great location...the staff are friendly and professional The room was spotlessly clean and the decor luvly Also the bed was very comfortable
Just having to pay extra money for an early check in...when the room.was ready Id spoken previously on phone to ask if we could leave our bags as we had to be there early as we were attending an afternoon function at the Grand that had been changed from The Bold
Friendly, helpful staff. All areas were spotlessly clean. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely stay there again. Lovely spacious room. Beautiful bathroom.

Quick check in. A small issue with the room was solved quickly. Good location for what we wanted to do
Great Hotel in brilliant location with superbly friendly and helpful staff. Great room with a good view of Lord Street.

Receptionist was very welcoming happy chatty. Room was lovely
FRIENDLY STAFF UPON ENTERING FACILITY…. STAFF CARRIED SOME LUGGAGE UP TO ROOM.
LIFT WAS STATED IN WRITE-UP HOWEVER, IT ONLY WENT UP ONE FLOOR AND THERE WERE NO ROOMS ON THAT FLOOR (ONLY A PORTION OF THE LOUNGE. LUGGAGE HAD TO BE CARRIED UP ANOTHER FLOOR IN A VERY NARROW STAIRCASE. COMING DOWN, I HAD TO SITDOWN TO EASE MY LUGGAGE DOWN TO STAIRCASE FOR FEAR OF FALLING!! NO FOOD SERVED….HAD TO GO TO A “SISTER” FACILITY ACROSS THE STREET….THEN THEY WEREN’T SERVING FOOD EITHER!
everythng was fine
Check in was efficient and the receptionist was informative. We asked for a first floor room and it was great. Extremely large, comfy bed. Clean and spacious. We had an excellent night’s sleep. Breakfast across the road was fine. Buffet, so food was lukewarm, but lots of choices. Coffee was excellent. Staff were always visible and friendly.
Bed comfortable, room clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Centrally located
Stayed at The Lord Street hotel whilst attending a function across the road at The Bold hotel. Stayed in triple room 101. Room was immaculately clean, tea & coffee along with spare glasses in the room & mini fridge. Breakfast is served across the road at The Bold and was self serve full English, along with selection of cereals & fruit juices. Staff were polite, attentive & courteous. Barman made a great Disaronno sours!!! Parking is behind the hotel, ask at reception and you’ll get discounted parking added to your room bill.
