Native Bankside

The kitchen was well stocked with large fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, stovetop & oven-/microwave. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo etc provided & good towels. Good pans, crockery, glasses, cups etc Tv was Netflix only, do need to log in or sign up. Bed comfy enough. Lots of storage for clothes etc. ironing board & iron. Staff very pleasant.

We upgraded to a 1 bed apartment. The 1st room offered had 1 armchair - and we were 2. We accepted another room with a sofa but it was very disappointing, dark & anything but like the room offered in the hotel photographs - see comparison photos below. - 1 is what we got, 2 & 3 are what is advertised. Turns out the hotel only has 2 apartments like the good ones, all the rest are like the one we got or even worse, the first room offered was tiny with an armchair for 1 Bedding was good but pillows were very lumpy hollowfibre - totally unexpected & disappointing for a very expensive hotel of supposed quality. Our room had an accessible bathroom with shower. But the basin was tiny with no shelves or space to put personal items. The shower curtains were far too narrow so any wheelchair user who transferred to the shower would find it extremely difficult to not have a drenched wheelchair - the curtains needed to be twice as wide & longer. As it was the room instantly flooded drenching everything which had to be placed on the floor - shoes, clothes, etc. typical poor accessible service that was not up to scratch even for the relatively able-bodied.

Shower enclosure or, more accurately, the lack of one made it hard to keep bathroom reasonably dry. Not a huge issue but it should be improved upon

we loved it at native banksides! the location is fantastic, just about a 5 minute walk from borough market and 10 minutes away from london bridge station. also we went to a show at the o2 arena and it was only 4 stops away with the jubilee line which was super convenient after a concert day. the staff were nice, and we got such a spacious room as well as the kitchen facilities that were great. our room had a dishwasher, a laundry machine, a microwave, an oven, cutlery and a cutting board, a kettle, coffee & tea, pretty much everything. would definitely recommend it and we will be back, thanks ❤️

No safe in room and no safe facility at reception. Really not happy about that. The lounge was internal, the bedroom had the windows, wrong way round! We were on 7th floor and bedroom view was good but area outside window hadn’t been cared for - in fairness, a heatwave was on but weeds etc could have been cleared

首先：房间与预订照片严重不符，客厅是没有窗户的，整套公寓只有卧室一面有窗。浴室门只有一半格挡，经常弄得到处都是水。位置并不方便，周围没有超市，需走一段路。去地铁站也要走15-20分钟。第一天入住房间们锁不上，需要刷卡锁门，第二天竟然又不用了（？），不理解。第二天收到了次日会有人进屋检查设施的通知，意味着do not disturb无效。第三天早上卧室的警报器早上6点警铃大作，一共响了两次，影响睡眠。第四天离开让前台帮忙叫出租车，前台的女生以公司协议出租车预定系统不正常无法预定为理由，拒绝服务。请问到底这个公寓里什么设施是正常工作的。这家公寓名不副实，大失所望。提醒后来预定的客人，务必跟前台声明需要的房间样子，预定的时候小心有钓鱼邮件。第二次来伦敦非常不愉快，还是选择第一次来的SOHO和Covent Garden，会好很多。

Very poor condition; wardrobe doors hanging off, bathroom door lock broken, shower leaked, cold tap ran warm. Upon check in the room hadn’t been cleaned and was full of dirty pots, rubbish, used towels etc

Superb location, and the staff were awesome. Hamzah, Yazid and Iva looked after us really well. Big comfy beds and great air con which was needed in the hot weather!

I know they don't do house keeping everyday, but that would be a nice touch - it's the same price as a hotel, so it would be be nice to get the same service.

Bare lounge area in apartment, uncomfortable sofa, non-functioning TV, music link not working and so unable to play music through 'phone, inadequately sized table for space in lounge and surface was badly stained/marked, insufficient coffee supplies. Received email demanding online ID provision which is not required for UK nationals, as was confirmed on check-in when we were told the 'system always does it and we can't override it'. Overall, very poor value for money.

Great location, brilliant kitchen amenities such as an oven:microwave and fridge which we could use, the washing machine was also a bonus, also had televisions in both the living area and bedroom. Literally minutes away from the Borough Markets which is an added bonus, lovely area and great place to stay

Only issue would have been the bathroom, the shower head was a little small for our liking and a very open shower as no shower doors etc just curtains which meant water got everywhere

This is a wonderful location! It was quiet, but still a central spot to get around. We used the uber boat from the wharf 2mins away and the rest was all walkable. Close to Borough Markets and other nice restaurants. There is also an oven/microwave and kitchen utensils/kettle, as well as a washer/dryer which we used and was very helpful there was a full sized clothes rack too! Good quality hairdryer. Also AC and heating worked well. Everything you need for a comfortable week stay.

While it was great we got new towels each day - only get a room refresh if staying 8+ nights (we stayed 5 nights) but when we got the new towels we seemed to only get one fresh towel each time when there were 2 of us staying, we mentioned this and it was corrected on the last change.

not totally clean, no socket near a mirrior (e.g. non in the bath) therefore not very useful if you like to use a hairdryer, The furniture is more worn than I had imagined from the photos, Despite having two rooms for four people, only one towel was replaced and the beds weren't made, therefore too expensive for the missing room service and conditions, no warm water on one of the days e.g. in the shower (also other guests were compaining it)

There was only one comfy chair for two people and a large low round table taking up space. One power circuit blew and there was no one able to fix it which meant the jug had to be moved to another point on the floor

Great one bed apartment, comfortable and clean. Stayed with my husband and adult son. Brilliant location. Quiet at night even though minutes from a lot of bars and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms.

I didn’t like the bombardment of emails about IDchecks which apparently I didn’t need to do as I’m a UK citizen.

Very cosy bed. Brilliant little kitchen, had all the utensils and things you could ever need, good job, washing machine and even a tiny dishwasher. It was lovely to have the separate rooms to spread out in. Having TVs in both rooms was a treat. The shower was lovely. The shampoos and creams supplied were also lovely. Tea coffee and fresh milk in the fridge also wonderful. We were working at Tate Modern and it's just a brilliant location for that. a little tucked away side street with no through traffic. it was very quiet. felt very safe.

I am being really picky here but these things were annoying ... The bins under the sink were a total faff to use. You have to pull the drawer out every time, the recycling bins were not marked which was for which. it would just be better to have a bin in the kitchen rather than under the sink if you have to put it out and lift the lid off. it got very annoying. the room is a double but there is only a single armchair in the lounge area. not ideal if there are two of you staying. but the furniture was all great quality and looked very nice. The TVs weren't connected to WiFi so we couldn't watch netflix, or cast to the screens. They did have HDMI cable, but we have the right adaptors for our computers. The lights... the bathroom light is automatic and you can't turn it off manually. It stays on for ages especially if you keep the bathroom door open when you're not in there. the light switches and the rest of the apartment were just a bit confusing and unnecessary. far too many buttons for them. it would be great to have the toilet roll holder within arms reach of the toilet. you had to get up and walk across the bathroom to get it, which is not ideal. we ended up removing the toilet roll from the holder entirely for the duration of our stay. the air conditioning was good but we couldn't heat the room. only cool it.

Well equipped 1 bedroom apartment in a great location for the Tate Modern, the Globe Theatre and Borough Market. Just across the River from St Paul’s Cathedral. Also close to the Bankside Uber Boat stop for trips on the Thames. They provided printed instructions for all the appliances which was very handy. Selection of teas, fresh milk and coffee bags available. Clean towels provided daily. Helpful and friendly reception staff.

The apartment had a hob. I didn’t cook but I don’t recall seeing any cooking utensils. In our apartment the living area had a skylight but no window - it was quite dark so after 3 days I was beginning to feel claustrophobic. Would have liked a smart TV so we could access our Netflix accounts etc - just had all the UK channels.

Loved this property especially with washing machine, cook top, microwave and dishwasher in the room. Really close to Tate Modern but about 15mins to London Bridge or 20 to Waterloo. Easy to leave bags when we arrive before check in and staff always very friendly and helpful.

During our stay, three members of staff entered our apartment while we were out, despite a “Pets inside” sign being clearly displayed on the door. Our dog was alone at the time and is nervous and reactive. The staff opened the door, saw that she was inside, and proceeded regardless. This created a completely avoidable safety risk. Any reasonable guest would assume that a sign indicating a pet is inside means the room should not be entered. We were later told this sign is only informational and does not prevent staff from entering, which is not made clear anywhere and is highly misleading. We raised this immediately, but it was not taken seriously at reception. The issue has still not been properly resolved following a formal complaint. If you are travelling with a dog, you should be aware that staff may still enter your room even when a pet is inside. Based on our experience, I would not feel comfortable leaving a dog unattended here.

How to work lights and open blinds a bit confusing

Staff were very helpful. Easy walking to mini-markets, Tate Modern, 50-100 eating establishments within 1/2 mile walk.

The bathroom had a motion sensor that turns the lights on to full brightness. THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN THIS OFF. So in the middle of the night, enter the bathroom and automatically be bathed in bright light. The bed was very firm. The staff put a new mattress pad, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick on. It helped a bit.

Modern, had everything we needed for our three day stay.

The air conditioning in the bathroom turned on automatically every time we would open the bathroom door, and it would not stop working even 20-30 minutes after closing the bathroom door, which caused issues when trying to rest or sleep, because the noise the air conditioning made was loud.

Perfect location, central and quiet at night. The 3 of us had a larger space with two rooms and two baths which made our stay more comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. Wonderful cafe next door.

We had a few technical challenges in the room- the combined washer-dryer emitted smoke as soon as the dryer started. Adrian the maintenance man was able to fix it immediately. Sadly he was not there when the battery in our door lock failed!

Although it was around a 12 minute walk to London Bridge tube station it was a good hub for getting around, whether to the O2 for a concert, Covent Gardens, King’s Cross or London City airport. Tunes are very frequent and well-connected. The location close to Borough Market also means good options for food and beverage nearby. The studio itself had an oven (with integrated microwave), fridge, hob, kettle, dishwasher and even a wash machine. There is a little breakfast bar in the kitchenette but unfortunately only one stool so not great for 2 if you intend to cook and eat there. The aircon was great - not noisy and kept the room at the perfect temperature for sleeping. Lots of space for clothes etc and a nice bathroom with Grohe and Geberit sanitary ware. I would definitely stay again if the price was right (indeed I looked at changing a booking for Easter which I have elsewhere, but the price is too high…)

My only negatives (and this is being *really* picky): - in spite of the description for the lighting they seemed to have a life of their own or I was too stupid to work themto out and steer them individually. - TV was good, but I would’ve highly appreciated the option to stream, either from the TV directly or by using airplay from my phone/ipad.
