Posizione centrale ma in una strada dove passano tante macchine

nostro soggiorno alla Residenza d’Epoca La Basilica è stato semplicemente inaccettabile. Appena entrati nella struttura abbiamo avvertito un forte odore di fogna. Più ci avvicinavamo alla nostra camera, più l’odore diventava intenso, fino a renderci conto che il problema sembrava provenire proprio dalla zona della nostra stanza, la Masaccio, situata praticamente alla fine della struttura, raggiungibile attraverso un percorso piuttosto scomodo tra salite, discese e diversi scalini. Abbiamo immediatamente chiesto spiegazioni alla reception. Inizialmente il problema è stato quasi minimizzato, come se non ci fosse nulla di particolare; successivamente ci è stato detto che sarebbe intervenuta una persona per verificare. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa due ore e mezza. Nel frattempo ci siamo trovati a soggiornare in una camera nella quale l’odore proveniente dagli scarichi era veramente difficile da sopportare. Purtroppo il cattivo odore non si può fotografare, altrimenti avrei allegato anche quello. Ma non finisce qui. Avevo prenotato una camera con letto matrimoniale e ci siamo invece trovati davanti a due letti singoli accostati, senza neppure un topper che li rendesse effettivamente un matrimoniale. La biancheria era estremamente essenziale e, cosa ben più grave, sul lenzuolo abbiamo trovato peli e capelli. Di questo allegherò le fotografie, perché almeno su questo non c’è spazio per interpretazioni. Anche la gestione della colazione è stata assurda. Avevo acquistato il soggiorno con colazione, aspettandomi naturalmente che il servizio indicato dalla struttura fosse realmente disponibile. Scopriamo invece che la colazione non viene servita all’interno della Residenza, ma presso il Bar Vintage, situato di fronte. Sul biglietto consegnatoci dalla struttura era indicato chiaramente l’orario 7:30–12:30. Avendo il treno in mattinata, quell’orario era fondamentale per noi.

Overall, really good value for money. Since we were there for the hot summer, having an aircon in each room was amazing. The accommodation was very spacious and was in an old building. The breakfast was in a cafe just outside the accommodation (Vintage Cafe) which had amazing panini and cornetti too.

There are quite a few steps past the lift so if you have older family members and/or with heavy luggage, there will be some further heavy lifting. The reception isn't 24 hours so make sure to contact them ahead of time.

Top Lage und schöne modernisierte Zimmer mit großem Bad.

Rezeption entgegen der Angaben nur stundenweise besetzt, daher konnten wir unser Zimmer nicht beziehen. In der vorangegangenen Kommunikation wurde auf Rückfragen nicht geantwortet. Auch nach unserer Ankunft schienen Abläufe nicht gut organisiert, wurden dann aber innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu unserer Zufriedenheit geregelt.

Όταν φθάσαμε το βράδυ, κουρασμένοι και φορτωμενοι βαλίτσες δεν μας έδινε τον κωδικό για να μπούμε μέσα στο διαμέρισμα γιατί έπρεπε να κάνουμε διαδικτυακά το check in . Του εξηγήσαμε οτι θα το κάνουμε απλά είχαμε 3 μικρά παιδιά και είχαμε τις βαλίτσες και είχε πολύ κόσμο έξω, να μας ανοίξει την πόρτα να αφήσουμε τα πράγματα και δεν δεχόταν. Δεν μου άρεσε που είχε σκάλα το διαμέρισμα και πρέπει να επικοινωνουσε με άλλο διαμέρισμα. Το ψυγείο ήταν πολύ μικρό και δεν παγονε καθόλου

Superbe emplacement au cœur du centre historique. Chambre agréable et propre, calme, bien climatisée. Réceptionniste arrangeante qui a accepté de laisser nos bagages pour la journée.

Légère odeur d'égout dans la salle de bain. Le canapé-lit des enfants n'était pas très confortable.

Es roch sehr streng im Zimmer, Reinigung war ok aber Wasserflaschen und Kaffee wurden nicht aufgefüllt. Parksituation war nicht ok.

The room was really comfortable and nice.. in the pictures looked bigger tho. The view of the room and the main entrance downstairs, with direct access to the street, it was like the movies.

Solamente il materasso troppo molle, per me poco riposante.

First off staff was very excellen! Attentive, welcoming and supportive throughout. The location is "Prime", very centrally located, we pretty much walked to every place we wanted to visit. The suite was amazing as well, very clean and with much comfort. Also serene, not body at all, so slept great! Oh! Almost forgot, the breakfast is a nice touch and apetizing.

The only thing I can say is that the suite could have been a lil cooler. I don't know if the units need some more coolant. But in their defense, the 1st day it was 100°F another days about 90°, so I don't know if it just want able to keep up. Regardless, we would definitely stay here again!

La posizione gioca un ruolo fondamentale di questa struttura, ma una volta entrati si viene accolti da un personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Le camere poi sono belle, curate e pulite. La terrazza poi gode di una vista bellissima su San Lotenzo, ideale per un aperitivo al tramonto. La colazione servita nel locale accanto è abbondante e il locale in sè è veramente bello. Sicuramente sarà un punto di riferimento per le mie prossime gite a Firenze.

Die Lage ist für ein Städtetrip optimal. Sehr zentral - in 2min bei der Kathedrale Santa Maria del Fiore. Das Check-in und Check-out war super unkompliziert - Luca, der Rezeptionist, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt.

Hier und da etwas renovierungsbedürftig aber für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis kann man nichts sagen.

En general muy bien, cama cómoda, limpio, buen desayuno buffet. En pleno centro de Florencia.

El agua caliente se acabó a la mitad de la segunda persona. Llegamos sobre las 20:00 y no había nadie en recepción y no nos llegaron instrucciones para acceder. Llamamos a Booking y un operador nos dio las claves para el acceso y estaba todo lo demás en un sobre a mi nombre.

Struttura realizzata su di un palazzo in pieno centro a due minuti dal Santa Maria Novella proprio dietro alle tombe medicee delle quali si vede la cupola dal terrazzo sul tetto Che però purtroppo non abbiamo utilizzato perché trovata una giornata di pioggia Camera calda e acqua calda quasi bollente Bello il ristorante che funziona da colazione davvero Cordiali e disponibili i ragazzi del servizio

Ovviamente gli antichi palazzi hanno di soluzioni architettoniche che non erano pensate per le attuali esigenze turistiche Ma me potessi migliorerei senz’altro la dimensione della cabina doccia che così come è sacrificata e aggiungerei alcune lampade sui comodini per permettere di evitare di accendere la lampada centrale o magari per leggerai un libro alla sera Bisogna prendere un po’ di confidenza con i percorsi originali e mai scontati ma è il bello di queste avventure

Sono complessivamente soddisfatta del soggiorno. Posizione centralissima e dimensioni della camera e del bagno superiori alle normali dimensioni di un hote/bnb della stessa categoria. Personale gentile ed affabile.

Le condizioni generali dello stabile: si tratta di una palazzo d'epoca con enormi potenzialità, purtroppo pare che ci sia poca manutenzione o scarsa attenzione alla cura dei dettagli. Forse poco investimento successivamente alla ristrutturazione iniziale. La nostra entrata (entrata secondaria) era in condizioni poco gradevoli e in più punti dello stabile c'erano attrezzi da lavoro/ secchi per la pittura nascosti da un separé. La colazione viene servita in un locale accanto, molto bello ma anche quest'ultimo sembra un pò in abbandono. La colazione è abbondante e il servizio molto gentile, ma i prodotti sono quelli da grande distribuzione.

Ospitalità e cordialità sono stati davvero il Top! Andrea, il nostro receptionist, è stato fantastico. Ci ha accolto e spiegato con molta tranquillità come vivere al meglio il nostro breve soggiorno a Firenze, in modo da sfruttare al meglio il tempo a nostra disposizione: ci ha consigliato sia cosa e dove visitare che cosa e dove gustare i piatti tipici toscani...senza perderci il meglio di Firenze. Ci ha anche consentito di lasciare i bagagli in deposito senza alcun costo, sia all'arrivo che alla partenza. Posizione super...tra la stazione e il centro storico di Firenze...comodo a tutto per spostamenti a piedi....non abbiamo avuto nessuna difficoltà. Possibilità di usare l'ascensore o le scale per uscire ed entrare dalla struttura. Camera "Botticelli" da quattro con bagno interno pulita, ampia e attrezzata di tutti i confort: condizionatori, cassaforte, asciugamani, coperte, cuscini, asciugacapelli, prodotti per l'igiene, frigo e bollitore con bustine di te e camomilla a nostra disposizione e tutto compreso nel prezzo. Bellissimo terrazzo con vista su Cappelle Medicee, dove Andrea ci ha permesso di rilassarci quando e come volevamo. Colazione in convenzione da Eataly, a pochi metri dall'alloggio, davvero abbondante con vasta scelta di prodotti freschi e tipici. Il prezzo pagato presso la Residenza D'Epoca La Basilica davvero modico per ciò che abbiamo avuto in cambio. Insomma, io, le mie sorelle e la nostra adorata mamma, lo consigliamo vivamente!!! Ci è piaciuto tutto!!! Ciò che abbiamo vissuto a Firenze in questi due giorni è stato bellissimo. Persino il tempo è stato dalla nostra parte. E' andato tutto molto bene...non potevamo sperare di meglio.

La camera era posta al terzo piano. La struttura presenta due ingressi: uno con scale e un altro con un piccolo ascensore. L'host è un ragazzo gentilissimo e super disponibile. La residenza possiede, inoltre, un terrazzo panoramico sulle cappelle medicee. Per quanto riguarda la colazione vi è una convenzione con il locale adiacente al portone "il konnubio" il quale ci ha regalato tante gioie a colazione. Torneremo sicuramente.

I soffitti sono alti, quindi, il condizionatore ci mette un bel po' tempo per riscaldare la stanza. Il bagno è senza finestre ma possiede un aereatore.

Nos tuvimos que ir a otra propiedad porque no nos dieron la cuádruple que pedimos . Tenía un olor nauseabundo. 30 llamadas perdidas sin que nos atiendan la llamada de emergencia. Nos dieron en otro hotel a 400 m , bajo la lluvia y con las maletas .

Luca je izvrstan domaćin, jako nam je pomagao sa svime. Napravio nam je kartu sta obići u dva dana. Lokacija je super u srcu centra.

Sobe se nalaze na trećem katu. Ima mali lift ali nije radio zadnji dan pa nam je tesko bilo se popesti gore s kolicima i bebom. I u sobi se osjećao čudan miris kanalizacije.

The family room we stayed in was spacious, well appointed with toiletries, towels, coffee, and tea and the staff were amazing. The room was tidied up daily and when arranged early check out, they ensured a to-go breakfast order was placed for us with the cafe next door that serves their complimentary breakfast buffet. The buffet included several options (meats, cheeses, cereals, egg, bacon, sausage, and several pastries and cake selections). Additionally, we arrived after check in hours but were struggling to find the location as our phone navigation led us to a close but different location and they were kind enough to come and meet us and take us to the proper location. The location is perfect as it is close to all major attractions and the train station. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip :)

Le travail de la femme de ménage qui ne mettait que des serviettes pour 2 personnes alors que nous étions 3. (Malgré que nous lui avions fait remarqué) Par 2 fois (sur 5), elle ne nous a pas remis de papier toilette et par 3 fois (sur 5) pas de gel douche... Assez énervant et surtout ch... quand vous revenez d'une journée de visite sous de forte chaleur.

Essendoci stato un problema con il cliente che usciva dalla stanza in cui saremmo dovuti entrare noi, ci hanno dovuto trovare una soluzione alternativa. Hanno sistemato e preparato tutto ancora prima del nostro arrivo. La struttura che ci hanno assegnato era ancora più vicina al Duomo (lo si vedeva dalla finestra) camera spaziosa, personale gentilissimo in entrambi i posti! Ci torneremo sicuramente

I enjoyed my stay! The location was perfect as the hotel is close to the city centre. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was varied and good.

Great experience overall, although the hotel is a bit hard to find since there isn’t a big sign outside.

Scale per salire scomodissime e buio, per salire con l ascensore bisogna va passare da un ripostiglio e poi piccola . Nella camera si sentiva un cattivo odore di fogna l divano letto dei ragazzi era in pessime condizioni, quindi ho deciso di cambiare struttura. Non l'ho consiglio state alla larga.

Il bagno emanava un leggero odore sgradevole, ma a parte questo era pulito e dotato dei confort previsti.

Un odore sgradevole nauseabondo diffuso sempre nella camera, ha impregnato tutti i vestiti e gli oggetti personali, non si riusciva a stare dentro

Muy buena limpieza, mejores desayunos y a la hora de hacer el check-in muy simpáticos. Habitaciones amplias. Buenísima ubicación.

La foto de la entrada es el local del desayuno, la entrada en sí al hotel da lugar a confusión, después es fácil.

Posizione centralissima, molto comoda alla stazione, parcheggio auto convenzionato, ristorante adiacente alla struttura per la colazione fantastico (ampia scelta, dolce e salato), personale estremamente gentile in ogni passaggio, possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in struttura al check out.

Metterei più mensole in bagno e in camera: e’ molto grande ma priva di superfici per appoggiare le cose! La pulizia della stanza potrebbe essere più accurata ( letto e biancheria erano perfetti però, mi riferisco a piccoli gesti dettagli della camera)

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία , δίπλα σε όλα τα must see σημεία του κέντρου .εύκολα αυτοματοποιημένη εξυπηρέτηση χωρίς ανάγκη προσωπικού. Οπότε χρειάστηκε να μιλήσουμε ήταν εκεί για λύση και συμβουλές για Πάρκιν κτλ. Η καλύτερη Local καφέτερια , ακριβώς απέναντι (Vintage caffe)

Μη σαφές εξωτερικές επιγραφές , μη σαφές χώρος εισόδου αλλά όλα άλλαξαν όταν ανεβήκαμε στον όροφο . Επίσης πολύ basic πρωινό σε διπλανό πανέμορφο χώρο .

The only positive aspects were the good breakfast and the polite staff, but unfortunately these were not enough to make up for the overall poor experience. I cannot recommend this hotel based on what we encountered.

We stayed at this hotel in the center of Florence and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. When we first arrived, we left our suitcases at the hotel and were told to return at 3 PM for check-in. However, when we came back, the receptionist informed us that our room had a bad smell and that we were being transferred to another hotel. He reassured us that this was a “big upgrade” and that he would cover the price difference. In reality, the room we were moved to was not an upgrade at all — it was actually cheaper than the one we had originally booked. Although the location was slightly more central, the room itself was very old, smelled strongly of mold and moisture, and was extremely uncomfortable. Two of us slept in proper beds, while the other two had to sleep on a sofa bed with a mattress barely 3 cm thick. It was impossible to sleep comfortably. The room also had no natural light and no natural ventilation, which made the situation even worse.

We came to the Residenza D'Epoca La Basilica early afternoon. We were welcomed by nice resident who told us everything what we needed. Later, when problems occurred, after reporting them by phone, we were in another hotel within 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, despite the professional service, this apartment is not suitable for renting. The smell from the sewer was so intense that our belongings, which had only been there for a few hours, became foul-smelling.

Avar tuba väga kõrge laega (5-6 meetrit). Hea voodi. Kena vaade Medici kabeli kuplile.

Tuba on halvasti sisustatud. Riidepuud kapis ripuvad nii kõrgel, et neid saaks kasutada ainult korvpallimeeskonna keskmängija. Sahtleid pole. Asju pole kuhugi panna. Laud on imepisike, selle taga ei saa mitte üksnes teha tööd, vaid ka kohvi juua. Personal, paistab, pole huvitatud, et külalised end mugavasti tunneksid, nende soovidega ei arvestata. Toas pidi olema veekeetja, kuid ei olnud, see toodi pärast korduvaid nõudmisi alles järgmisel päeval. Kuid mis peamine toas puudub küte, tuba saab soojendada üksnes konditsioneeriga. Ja kuna tuba on tohutu kõrge, siis sellest ei aita. Seetõttu hoiatan, talvel seda hotelli broneerida ei tasu, juba novembri keskpaigas oli seal jahe.

Le matelas non confortable

The location was good. Close to train station. But we paid 10 Euros to have a car meet us to take the family and luggage to the BnB. They never showed. We tried to get an adjustment to the bill at the BnB. The reception person informed us that they don’t have a car! We stood in a mess of a taxi waiting line for about 30 minutes. Health issues prevented our walking! The room was scented with an overwhelming incense smell. We removed the incense, we went touring and returned to a sewer gas smell that we could not get rid of. We booked a Triple room. My wife and I had a double bed. Our son was forced to sleep on a fold out couch with a very thin mattress. For two nights he had the metal fold out bar in the middle of his spine , plus sewer gas I wet a hand towel put it over the shower drain, left the bathroom window open, closed the door to the bathroom. No Relief. Spent a lot, dreaded going to the sewer gas room.

Again, the room (No. 6) had an overwhelming incense oil smell when we first entered. We removed scented oils, opened windows and un packed. We booked a triple room. A double for us and a single for our son. He got an older fold out couch with a thin mattress and the fold out bar in the middle of his spine. We closed up windows, locked the door and spent the day touring. We returned to a smelly room (we understood the use, need of oils/room freshening/incense products). We set about opening windows,covering shower drain with a wet towel, closing bathroom door- little to no relief- after two days we’re glad to leave! That smell was on our clothes in the dirty laundry bag in our suitcases. We could still smell it after going to to Rome and ultimately getting home to do laundry! Not worth the time, trouble or expense!! I would never go back.
