was clean, bed was very comfortable, shower was nice temperature.

i didn’t like how the bath tub had no curtains for privacy if sharing with a friend, the radiator rail is too close to the toilet which made it uncomfortable and burnt my leg at one point.

Good location, around a 30 minute walk from the lake but located right next to its own section of shops/restaurants so we only did the walk when we wanted to see the lake specifically (the hill is not very steep so was fairly easy). The room itself was amazing, had everything we needed and was very clean! Parking was easy, as well as check in/out and we appreciated the extras offered in the shared living space even if we did not personally use them. Smart TV available which was huge and we loved the bath!

Small noise from the restaurant next door as their kitchen door faces the property but we only heard it around lunch/dinner time and it was easy to ignore.

The cleaning was not very good. We stayed for two nights and booked four rooms for seven people. The rooms were cleaned, but the beds were not made or tidied.

It's really clean and comfortable. 3min walk to the train and bus stations which is awesome, and the Double room is big enough for 2 people with a nice big window so you don't feel suffocated. There's a really cute and cosy room downstairs if you just want to hangout with some card games and monopoly.

It's around 35 to 40 min to the closest hike in Ambleside, more to Keswick, and 40 min walk to the lake and other nice restaurants. So it's up to you to decide if you're ok with walking (for us it was fine)

The cottage is in a great location, the room was very clean and had everything we needed including a fridge and iron, beds were very comfortable! Would stay here again!

Only negative would be how hot the room was even with the fan on!

Excellent property would definitely recommend. Self check in but received message and txt how to locate key etc. immediate response when txt to ask questions asking if we could check in slightly earlier. Room 5 was lovely as it was very hot weekend fan was already set up in the room. There was a bath in the room so able to watch telly while you soak after long walks. Fridge, kettle, hairdryer, iron and ironing board in room. Tv large on wall opposite bed. Double shower in bathroom with luxury toilet too! Day before leaving I asked if we could leave the car there later and this wasn’t a problem and response was very quick (Maybe more difficult in high season) I will definitely be back again

المكان قريب جداً من السنتر دقيقتين مشس و من محطة القطار ( 5 دقايق ). مناسب جداً لمن ليس معه سيارة

لا يوجد شفاط هواء في الحمام ( غرفة 5 ) ضيق مساحة الغرفة رغم ان الصور تهيئ لك مساحة واسعة كن حذراً من الديكور الذي اعلى سرير النوم و لكنها طبيعة الأكواخ.

Was clean and tidy. The bathroom is awesome! The instructions for entry were good. Stayed during the heatwave and they had a fan available in the room which was amazing!!

We purchased some food on Saturday from Booths to eat after a tour on Sunday but we did not realise the fridge though plugged in and switched on was not actually working. So we had to throw out some things (the milk had gone off) and when we checked out on Monday everything had to go. I would check the fridge if you plan to do the same. Also the toilet is not the most accessible - there is a radiator in a pretty inconvenient position!

Me and my partner stayed here for the night, our room was lovely and clean, really easy self check in and great location for when staying in Windermere, will definitely be returning 🙂

距離車站極近，不必等湖區無限延遲的公車。設備齊全且優良，有吹風機熱水壺甚至還有無線充電插座。管理方回覆訊息迅速，也友善的讓我們寄放行李。

硬要挑刺的話只有廁所燈光不知為何有些不足。

Very comfortable and clean room with everything we needed for a short break away , very central to local restaurants and pubs and within walking distance of Bowness on Windermere also. Great communication with staff when we had a slight issue with no hot water one morning. Easy self check in and check out. Would absolutely stay again 🙂

ウイダミア駅から歩いて7〜8分のところにあり、建物は新しくないが、清潔で快適だって。駅そばにスーパーやインフォメーションセンターがあり便利な立地だった。また、バス停も近くにあり、湖に下りて行くにも便利だった。

このコッテージからは湖は眺望できない。

The property is very good, clean and has a good location, just 3 minutes walk from Windermere train station. Everything you need is there in the room. The staff are very responsive and let us store our bags after checkout.

Really enjoyed my stay. Fantastic location right in the centre of town and quiet at the same time. Great facilities, where everything has been thought through - the guesthouse was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The location was good for trains and buses.

Curtains on window in room would have helped us to sleep longer as it was light at 5.30. Didn,t like bidet toilet.

l'endroit où est situé le Cottage près de la gare de train et des autobus. La tranquillité de l'auberge. Le bon matelas, la qualité serviettes, la properté.

Je n'ai pas eu la chambre que j'avais réservée en raison d'une fuite au plafond, mais cela était hors de contrôle des propriétaires. Une fois la fuite réparée, ils m'ont offert de changer de chambre mais je me suis habituée à celle que j'avais.

- Location was great, right next to the train station and in the city center. - Room was clean, cosy and included everything we needed (great shower, toiletries, fridge, great tv that you can connect to, comfy mattress - Tissue rolls were restocked and bins were emptied daily - We were allowed to checkin 1 hour early at no cost and the property access was very smooth and straight forward - There’s place to leave your luggage while you enjoy your last day before heading home (always a plus) - Cozy living room area to sit and chill, very useful when the weather was a bit dull and it helped us meet new people at the property

- I would have appreciated getting fresh towels (not daily but maybe every other day). We stayed for 4 days and I don’t think the towels were changed - The pillows weren’t to comfy, they were too soft. (they were clean and new though)

Didn't like room 11, dirty uneven floor, bed too near bathroom door. No way a "deluxe room" old furniture. And the bed is dangerous, I sat up in bed to go to the bathroom and the mattress literally threw me into the door. It's a dirty dusty 4 poster bed.

Everything was fine, just noticed mood or fungis in the shower. Location good, quiet. Perfect

The room was very good and the bed very comfortable.

I liked the structure and the 2 bedrooms were very comfortable and cosy. The toilet was very well equipped most of all with the most recent type of watercloset.

The room was big and airy and nice and the ceilings were huge but that meant there were some cobwebs in the corner of the rooms, understandably.

The member of staff was attentive and provided a good breakfast. On check out day, you can store your luggage and collect it later. The location was very handy for the train station, local buses, shops and vicinity for Bowness-on-Windermere.

Cleanliness needed attention in some areas. Carpets and skirting boards were dirty. Cobwebs in lots of corners and on ceilings. TV remote control didn't work and was very dirty. Bathroom had a "damp dog" odour. Pedal bin in bathroom didn't work. Window in room was double glazed and closed but somehow let a draught in. The fridge in the room was problematic for sleeping due to the electrical running sounds it made. Key for room was bent and had to be wiggled a lot in the lock to open the door. The room looked marginally different to the photo advertised on the website.

The cottage is a great place to stay located in central Windermere.The staff are very helpful and the breakfasts are first class .

Had to phone them for key safe code they had forgotten to send us it, breakfast room was very smeetchy i think the extractor in kitchen (if there is one) was'nt working which was a tad unpleasant while eating.

One of the best stay you will find in windermere. I guarantee you will like it
