Wunderschönes Hotel mit sehr sehr herzlichem und aufmerksamen Personal. Der Garten mit dem Pool und dem Restaurant ist wunderschön und wirkt sehr entspannt. Auch das Essen können wir sehr empfehlen. Desweiteren kann ich auch das Massageangebot im Spa sehr empfehlen, es war wunderbar! Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen und wären noch gerne länger als unsere 2 gebuchten Nächte geblieben.

Die Zimmer, der Pool, die Gartenanlage und das Restaurant sind sehr schön.

Man hört leider mehrfach am Tag und nachts um vier Uhr morgens die Gebetsrufe der naheliegenden Moscheen. Das Badezimmer könnte etwas neuer bzw. sauberer sein.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Dialoog Banyuwangi. The hotel is beautiful, the food is outstanding, and above all, the staff are simply fantastic. Everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely willing to help. You immediately feel welcome here. A special compliment to the reception team. You can literally ask them anything, and they are always ready to help and find a solution. The fact that the reception is available 24/7 is a huge plus and gives you a real sense of comfort and security. And the food is amazing. The quality, flavours and presentation were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had at the hotel. Definitely something worth mentioning and one of the highlights of our stay.

There is, however, one point that is important for travellers like us to mention. We personally place a very high value on peace, privacy and being able to enjoy our surroundings without constantly being photographed or filmed. During our time in Banyuwangi, we noticed that many local people, as well as visitors from neighbouring countries, are extremely focused on social media. Everywhere we went, people seemed to be taking photos and videos, often with semi-professional cameras, tripods and other equipment. We experienced the same thing during dinner at the hotel. Some guests were busy creating content throughout the meal, including going live on social media with their phones mounted on tripods next to the table. Of course, everyone is free to enjoy social media however they wish, but for us personally, this takes away from the peaceful and private atmosphere we value when having dinner or relaxing. We want to stress that this is not really a criticism of Hotel Dialoog itself. The hotel and its staff are wonderful. It is more something that travellers who, like us, highly value privacy and tranquillity should be aware of when visiting Banyuwangi. Despite this, we look back on our stay with great pleasure. The wonderful staff, excellent service, fantastic food and beautiful property make Hotel Dialoog a place we would happily recommend.

The hotel offers a beautiful view, and it’s worth getting up early to enjoy the sunrise. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

We could hear the mosque’s prayer call quite clearly from our room, which may affect light sleepers.

The grounds are beautiful and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. The property itself is in a gorgeous location and has so much potential. Dinner at the restaurant was really good and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

After a seven-hour train journey, we were really looking forward to sitting at the bar overlooking the ocean and enjoying a few cocktails. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told they had run out of all spirits, so no cocktails were available, which was pretty disappointing. The room itself also let the experience down. The rooms aren't well soundproofed, and there was a green light flashing constantly throughout the night. The pillows were incredibly high and uncomfortable, so we barely slept and both woke up with very sore necks. There were also some cleanliness concerns. Our sheets had a blood stain on them as well as black hairs, which definitely weren't ours as we both have fair hair. The shower ran out of hot water very quickly, leaving me to finish washing my hair under cold water. Breakfast was okay, but a lot of the food was left uncovered with flies all over it, and the breads and pastries tasted stale. Overall, it's a shame because the property itself is beautiful, but the cleanliness, lack of sleep, breakfast quality and other issues made the stay disappointing.

I had a wonderful stay at Dialoog Banyuwangi with my family. The hotel has a beautiful beachfront location and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast offered many delicious choices, and the facilities were well maintained. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Banyuwangi.

Our stay at Dialoog Banyuwangi was a truly enjoyable one. Especially we got a free upgrade to a Suite Room. We booked a Deluxe Garden King, but they upgraded our room! The check-in process was smooth thanks to Sherly (if I'm not wrong to write her name). The views from the room and surrounding area are breathtaking! The nature and the aesthetics buildings, room, ect. The area is peaceful, The atmosphere, and everything was great! And perhaps we were lucky, we visited on a weekday and during the low-season. So we were able to enjoy the hotel to the fullest! We will definitely back to this hotel if we have the opportunity to visit Banyuwangi again, and I would 100% recommend it to my family and friends! The only thing missing in this room is a refrigerator! It would be perfect if there was a refrigerator in this room.

My wife and I do a road trip to celebrate our birthdays. We are choosing BANYUWANGI as a destination, starting from the south road going to Pulau Merah, exploring Djawatan magical forest, and Dialoog will be our last destination to recover before we go back to Surabaya from the north road. We will stay here for 2 nights, 21-23 Juli 2026. The view is very great, and the hospitality is excellent; you will feel at home here as a community. The pool, lighting, and shower were perfect. The food was great too; the staff was very kind. Special thanks to Pak Aji, who upgraded our room for one night to a suite. I did not know why Pak Aji approached us at breakfast and offered to upgrade us to a suite it just random or an instinct? Otherwise, that was very meaningful for my wife and me because it was our birthday, 22 July (my wife and I have the same birthday 😅). I will not forget that. Someday I will comeback with all my family to stay here again.

Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und sogar kostenlos auf eine wunderschöne Suite upgegradet. Die Suite war großzügig, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bot einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und hinüber nach Bali – ein echtes Highlight. Das gesamte Hotel war außergewöhnlich sauber und sehr gepflegt. Besonders die weitläufige Außenanlage mit dem großen Pool hat uns begeistert. Hier konnten wir nach unseren anstrengenden Touren vor der Ankunft in Banyuwangi wunderbar entspannen und die herrliche Aussicht auf Bali genießen, bevor es für uns mit der Fähre weiterging. Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem gesamten Team. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren ausnahmslos freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Während unseres Aufenthalts kam es zu einem kleinen medizinischen Notfall, und das Personal war sofort zur Stelle. Die schnelle, professionelle und fürsorgliche Unterstützung hat uns sehr beeindruckt und uns ein großes Gefühl der Sicherheit gegeben. Dafür möchten wir uns noch einmal ganz herzlich bedanken. Auch kulinarisch hat das Hotel überzeugt. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren abwechslungsreich, sehr lecker und von hoher Qualität. Das Hotel bietet zudem verschiedene interessante Ausflüge an. Diese konnten wir zwar nicht nutzen, da wir bewusst ein paar entspannte Tage am Pool verbringen wollten, das Angebot klang jedoch sehr attraktiv. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal – das Fährterminal nach Bali ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und damit perfekt für alle, die ihre Indonesienreise nach Bali fortsetzen möchten. A modern, eco-friendly hotel with one of the most breathtaking sunrise views in Banyuwangi. 🌅 From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The check-in process was incredibly fast and personalized, complete with a refreshing welcome drink. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond—even when a courier delivered a birthday gift for my daughter, they kindly brought it all the way to our room. The rooms are compact yet comfortable. I highly recommend booking at least a Deluxe Sea View room so you can wake up to the spectacular sunrise or simply relax on the balcony while enjoying the stunning views of the Bali Strait. Our stay became even more memorable when the hotel surprised my daughter with a birthday cake during breakfast, as we were celebrating her birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our family feel truly special. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection of dishes, though I would love to see more authentic Banyuwangi specialties added to the menu. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer more kids’ activities, so families can spend more time enjoying the hotel without needing to go out. As a guest who booked your highest room category the Suite Room. I arrived with high expectations, given Dialoog’s reputation for having the best hospitality in Banyuwangi. Unfortunately, my actual experience was quite the contrary and rather disappointing, as the service felt very mediocre and nothing special. There are several crucial points regarding the hospitality and facilities that I believe urgently need to be improved: 1. Pre-Arrival & Welcome Check-in Process: For a hotel of this caliber and a premium room category, there should be a proactive approach from the hotel team prior to the guest's arrival (for instance, via WhatsApp confirmation regarding the estimated time of arrival). This is essential to ensure guests feel warmly welcomed from the very beginning. 2. Lack of In-Room Escort for Suite Guests: Upon completing the check-in process, I was not escorted to my room. For the highest tier room category, it is standard practice to have a staff member accompany the guest to the room to explain the facilities available both inside the room and across the hotel premises. 3. Breakfast Time Coordination: The restaurant team should proactively inquire about or confirm the guest's preferred breakfast time during check-in. This would allow for better seating arrangements and capacity management at the restaurant, ensuring guests do not feel neglected. 4. Room Cleanliness: I found several dead insects on the bedroom floor. This was highly bothersome and certainly does not align with the cleanliness standards expected of a Suite room. 5. Quality of Amenities: The amenities provided in the room felt very basic and standard. They lacked the premium or luxurious touch that should naturally complement the hotel's best room category. Booking the highest room tier was a demonstration of my trust in the Dialoog brand. However, the lack of personalized hospitality made my stay feel quite underwhelming. I sincerely hope this feedback serves as a serious evaluation for the management to improve service standards, particularly for guests staying in premium rooms. We love everything about this hotel. We knew that the hotel facilities itself would be great, but the hospitality from the staff really set it apart from others. They took care of us generously. Everyone was so professional, yet friendly and cheerful. The excursion arranged by the hotel was also really nicely done. This place is truly a peaceful oasis in Banyuwangi.

The water bottles provided in our room were of small volumes, but we could always ask for more to be delivered.

I went with my mum for this trip Location: If you’re travelling by train to Banyuwangi, make sure to get off at Banyuwangi Kota Station (BWI) instead of Ketapang Station (KTG). Atmosphere: The resort is great for couples, families, or groups of friends on holiday. There are plenty of activities available for guests to enjoy. However, the food still needs significant improvement and is currently not at a level that justifies the price. It would also be beneficial to add another swimming pool dedicated to children. In addition, it may be a good idea to set specific operating hours for the restaurants when welcoming outside visitors. During peak periods or fully booked weekends, limiting restaurant access to in-house guests could provide a better sense of privacy and exclusivity for those staying at the resort. Rooms: The rooms are clean, beautiful, and simply designed. One drawback is that the TV only supports Android connectivity, while Apple users cannot connect their devices. I really appreciate the decision to separate the toilet from the shower area. The balcony is lovely as well—I could easily spend time relaxing or even taking a nap there. Value for Money: Overall, the resort offers good value for money, except for the spa treatment included in the stay, dine, and spa package. The massage experience was disappointing and needs improvement. My body felt sore all over the next day, which is not what I would expect from a relaxing spa treatment. Service: The service still requires improvement, particularly in terms of staff friendliness and product knowledge. The food quality also needs further enhancement. Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the resort was good. The room, bathroom, and common areas were generally clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a satisfactory job, and I did not encounter any major cleanliness issues. Maintaining this standard will help ensure a comfortable experience for future guests. Noise Level: The noise level was generally acceptable. The resort was relatively peaceful most of the time, although it became noticeably livelier in the afternoons when many children were using the facilities and common areas. This is understandable given that it is a family-friendly resort and did not significantly affect my overall stay.

We stayed for one night arriving in the evening so didn’t spend much time at the hotel. The room was spacious and modern with good air con. Dinner was a set 3 course menu which was fine… the best course was the dessert. Breakfast had plenty of choice, Indonesian and fruit, pastries and yoghurts. The pool area looked really nice as did the gym but we didn’t have time to use them. We had a quick walk on the black sand beach before checking out. If you’re coming to this area and need a one night hotel this fits the bill perfectly.

Price is affordable Anyway breakfast provide in many options, but cant avoid many flies here. Maybe you need to fins solution for this. I love you have gym room. From Shirley’s warm welcome at reception to the incredible pool bar staff and the wonderful breakfast and restaurant staff. We were on our way to Bali and stayed for 2 nights. Wish we’d stayed longer. Stunning hotel with high-end rooms (go for sea-view suite). Immaculate grounds and one of the best infinity pools we’ve experienced overlooking Bali and the Bali straights.

i really like my experience staying here. i have my honeymoon here and the atmosphere totally worth the price. The room was very clean, with modern design. I love the full length body mirror, the room has a lemongrass scent. The breakfast was varied. The location was on the main road, it easy to locate. The best thing was the sunrise experience! they dont give banyuwangi a title of the sunrise of java for nothing yknow.

This is my 2nd stay in this place. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view was amazing, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and it’s very suitable for families with kids. The only thing that could be improved is the bed and pillows—they could be a bit more comfortable. Hopefully we can be back here!

I’ve been eyeing to stay at Dialoog for quite a while, and I’m so happy we finally made it happen to celebrate my husband’s birthday here. Honestly, everything about Dialoog amazed me. The view is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is super clean and comfortable, and the mix of traditional and modern design is just perfect. The breakfast was also really good with plenty of options. What impressed me the most was the hospitality from the staff, they were incredibly warm and thoughtful. My husband and I even got a few birthday surprises during our stay, which was such a lovely touch, especially since I only mentioned his birthday in a simple email beforehand. It was truly a wonderful experience staying at Dialoog, and we would definitely love to come back someday!

Spent a few days at Dialoog Banyuwangi and it really left me an incredible impression. I came back in the city with very low expectations, left with a big smile after such a stay! The service was genuinely exceptional. Everyone, from the chef to the room service team, was not only kind but incredibly attentive and well prepared. You can really feel that level of care and understanding of hospitality, naturally warm and thoughtful. Waking up early here is absolutely worth it. The sunrise from the pool is something special and probably the best in Banyuwangi if not in whole Java. The design of the property is also beautiful, very elegant but still relaxed, with lush palm-filled spaces, modern architecture that blend with the tropical scenery. I have also tried their signature barefoot experience at Kawah Wurung, a hidden gem very worth to try that I highly recommend to every guest who come to visit. A big thanks to the whole staff for the extra care, to Mr. Aji for the nice chats and a big one to Miss Rachel for making my stay truly memorable with her calm and carefully approach. A stat that feels both easy and refined at the same time. Would come back anytime! 10/10

An unforgettable experience, and hardly one that could be improved. The service—and every single person who is part of the hotel staff—is incredibly kind and professional. They were very polite with us and attentive at all times, from room service to the food and the excursion. We are quite demanding when it comes to food and always ask for modifications. In this restaurant, they followed our instructions to the letter, which is something that doesn’t happen in many places, not even in high-end establishments. We did the Barefoot Experience, which is absolutely recommendable. Every detail is carefully thought out—it’s a picnic they organize in the mountains, and all I can say is that it’s wonderful. I’m going to miss being there very much, and I hope to return soon!

The first sight is breath taking. Its giving vibe of a 5 stars hotel in Bali. Thumbs up for the modern vibe combined with amazing scenery and excellent service

The location is strategic not far from nearest harbour. 10 minutes to city center. The hospitality is great. And the view is majestic.

L'hôtel Dialoog est un véritable havre de paix. Le personnel est d'une bienveillance rare ; j'ai été malade durant mon séjour et ils ont tout fait pour que je ne manque de rien. La vue est tout simplement incroyable, tant depuis la chambre que depuis le restaurant, où la cuisine est d'ailleurs excellente. L'endroit est très calme et les activités proposées sont top. Je reviendrai sans aucune hésitation !
