Lake view, the proprietors were so lovely, clean room, beautiful breakfasts

What an absolute delight. This has to be the best place I have ever stopped at, the hosts were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast was just perfect every day, I only tried the full Scottish and it was cooked to perfection. The view of the Loch every morning was stunning. Can't wait to go back.

Derek and Fiona are the best hosts I hv ever met. Though we arrive late, they had no issue at all and came out to receive us warmly and welcoming. The room is absolutely fantastic, neat and tidy. Can see they put a great deal of efforts to decorate them. Feeling very homey :)

The place is an absolute gem! And I am definitely not looking for any other place whenever I am traveling in the region! 10 out of 10 ! I am getting excited just by thinking of my next visit! The hosts ? Everyone will love them! I know I do. It would be very difficult for others to match the level of their hospitality, friendliness and kindness!

Amazing find. Fiona and Derek were wonderful hosts with a wealth of local knowledge. Guest house was immaculate. Breakfast kept on coming and left fully satisfied

The B&B was near Rogie falls where we watched with fascination the salmon trying to leap the falls. It was also near Strathpeffer. We were provided a large rather spacious room. Very comfortable!

Fabulous stay , easy find , easy parking , great hosts , fabulous and very very comfortable room , great en suite with bath . Great TV and wifi signals . Host Fiona lovely and helpful , booked us into the Conor for dinner , which was great . Fiona’s breakfast and Derek serving just top drawer . The breakfast was quality produce and cooked to perfection . To be honest it truly was faultless , thank you both 👍

Superb location and brilliant host. A good warm bath after 3hrs walk around the beautiful area. Derek and Fiona look after us very well. What else would you ask for, wonderful host and nice cosy house.

This lovely guest house overlooks an idyllic loch and is perfectly situated for access to both the highlands and to facilities in Dingwall and Inverness. The area is stunningly beautiful. Our short stay was an absolute pleasure and our hosts couldn’t have been more hospitable, attentive and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also great and set us up for the day ahead perfectly. We hope to return another day soon.

This property proved to be the perfect choice for our much delayed wedding anniversary trip,located in a lovely tranquil lochside setting and within easy reach of many of our favourite places in the highlands.You could not wish for more welcoming hosts than Derek and Fiona who will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, Fionas breakfasts are amazing while Derek looks after the toast.We have been visiting sotland reguarly for over 50 years and can honestly say this is one of the best places we have stayed at, thank you so much for making our trip so memorable

A short but perfect stop-over en route from Ullapool

We had a short but sweet one night stay, but loved it. The hosts are so friendly, guesthouse is well-equipped and comfortable and the breakfast was brilliant. The location on the loch is stunning...perfect if you are looking for a quiet and tranquil break.

A very relaxing stay in a beautiful house in a wonderful spot. Our hosts were very welcoming and get room was excellent. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in whilst travelling. The combination of a quiet, dark room and a quality bed and pillow resulted in a great nights sleep. Breakfast was very good. We will happily stay here again.

Great location, good sized room and excellent breakfast. Didn't feel rushed to check out - was just a nice relaxing experience from our arrival to check out.

What a wonderful B&B We travelled round the NC500 stopping at a few hotels on our way. This was the last hotel and we saved the best for last! The B&B is situated facing a loch, which could be seen from our room. The area is very picturesque and there were some deer in a nearby field. You can possibly hear them at night however we were so tired we slept through it!! The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable (hence missing the deers!) and the breakfast was lovely. The hosts, Fiona and Derek, were very welcoming and gave us lots of information of the local area. We popped into the local town, Strathpeffer, which was recommended by Fiona for a bite to eat, and found it was a really lovely Victorian village with beautiful buildings and a lovely little square. It was a shame we couldn’t stay for another night as there was so much to see and do! We will definitely be coming back to explore the Scottish highlands more and hope to stay at this lovely B&B again!! Highly recommended 😊

The Lochview Guesthouse was excellent. The room was large and clean, as was the en-suite bathroom which had a bath and a separate shower. The breakfast was excellent, as were the hosts.

We had a super overnight stay at Lockview, guesthouse, with amazing views over the Loch. Our room was well presented with lovely personal touches, the bed was so comfortable, the room itself was clean, tidy and very welcoming. Fiona & Derek were exceptional, friendly and attentive nothing was any trouble to them wish you could have stayed longer so will definitely need a return visit. Highly recommend if you want excellent accommodation within a tranquil quiet setting.

What a fantastic place to stay. It’s quiet and beautiful just what we needed. Fiona and Derek made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble. By far our best stop in Scotland. Would really recommend

What a beautiful guest house Inside and outside with spacious rooms which were amazing. The king size bed was so comfortable ,the bathroom was a great size with bath and overhead shower. The owners were fantastic made you feel like a visiting friend lovely couple and last but not least the breakfast was Great more than enough to keep us going all day we will definitely be back

Couldn’t have been better. Beautiful view, quiet location, spacious well furnished rooms and a large bathroom with both bath and shower. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Only three tables (for three guest rooms) in dining room, so plenty of ‘social space’. Friendly, helpful hosts.

Fabulous hosting in a very quiet and pretty location. The room was large, comfortable and supremely clean. Breakfast was cooked to order. Gluten-free sausages and bread were available and all ingredients were obviously selected for quality. Throughly enjoyable.

What a fantastic stay! Our hosts, Derek and Fiona couldn't do more for us on our special trip. The room was very well presented, lovely extras and a very comfortable bed. Our breakfast choice was excellent, allowing us to have something different on each day of our stay. Beautiful surroundings and fantastic hosts, we couldn't have asked for more!

This stay was just perfect. We had room 1 which was lovely and spacious, I had a lovely bath and shower whilst there. The couple that run it couldn’t have been more helpful, welcoming and accommodating to anything. The view was amazing and so was the area! Will definitely stay for longer next time.

Lovely place, off the beaten track so you are really away from the noisy roads. The views of the loch are amazing.
