Walkable
Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce B and B très calme.
Daryl was very helpful with making sure our motorbikes were parked safely out of the way, as there weren't enough space for everyone to park at the front of the guest house.
Too small
Good for 1 night. Nice to have some food options for breakfast. Good advice for restaurant. Unfortunately Had to wait 35 -40 min to have someone come meet us and unlock door to check us in upon arrival
Great location but room was very tight for my family of 4
Room, bed and en suite very very small Breakfast dreadful
The room was quite cramped and the shared bathroom was small. The bed was comfortable.
Staff greeted us and made us feel welcome. The B & B was clean and is in walking distance from stores.
Very hard to find, address took us initially to a completely different place. Other than that it was lovely
Self service breakfast was ok that’s all. Blocked drain in bathroom.
No one here to check us in. Helped ourselves to a room. No communication for four hours. No one here at breakfast we helped ourselves and left. Absolutely disgraceful.
Unpleasant and loud. Weird vibes. Zero space in the rooms.
Lovely little bed & breakfast, continental and have what you fancy. Off street parking and very convenient
Very clean and tidy, comfortable rooms. EnSuite a little small, adequate. There is a shared bathroom. Breakfast is self serve buffet, cereals, fruit and toast. VERY Biker friendly. Parking behind the bungalow - Ireland has high bike theft issues - so very welcome. Host Daryl was a fantastic helpful guy. I have stayed twice now and will stay again. Recommended to the 2 wheeled motorcycle community. Jez
The b&b is NOT on Google maps. We were lost. Owner didn’t pick up the phone until later. Weird vibes. NOT recomended
Great location right in downtown waterford within walking distance to house of Waterford and other locations. Cozy, nice and clean.
Very relaxing comfortable accommodation
The staff was very helpful and responsive. The property was clean, quiet and the breakfast buffet is very generous. Please note :The property looks better in person than in the pictures.
Had a little issue finding the place. There is 2 different addresses on Google Maps for it. Be sure to use the Guest Accommodation address to get to the right spot. Otherwise all went well!
I had to pay cash as card machine apparently broken but said he preferred cash. Noisy with coming and goings at all hours. Had to ask for a blanket as so cold. Very basic continental breakfast. One towel for 4 days. Shower tiny and needs mending.
Small room in a converted house. Bright and clean.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, owner was extremely rude. Don't stay here
We had a lovely stay at the Vee B&B. The host was very kind and the room for four people was great. I would most definitely come back here next time I’m in the area.
The room and ensuite bath were clean and comfortable. The window overlooked the driveway. Breakfast foods were fresh and delicious although instant coffee is not my idea of coffee. I drank tea instead. The garden at the back needs attention. I didn't spend any time there because of the weather - it was raining! Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay with a friendly and helpful owner.
We had to wait for the cleaner to let us in. There was no staff at the property and we had to serve ourself breakfast.
Room was spacious and clean. We ask for a hairdryer and was provided with not only a hairdryer, but also a hair straightener. We were allocated a parking space next door. With was fine. We enjoyed our stay. Red roses infront of house was un full bloom and we could smell them if we opened the windows. Lovely.
The room, home, service, and location are great. My bed is a little creaky, but I slept well.
Darryl was great! Close to restaurants, safe to walk. Ramen right there is yummy. Roses in front are beautiful and they even left one in our room! Bedding was lovely. Thank you!
For one night it suited me fine. Other guest were a bit noise coming in but not for long The heater didn't seem to be giving much heat. Quite cold in the morning. Nice self service breakfast and supermarkets within walking distance as was dining options
The location
Very small room and it’s not a bed & breakfast, more like a hostel
Parking was great.
We were told at check in that we could only settle the bill in cash. I am from the UK so had to go to a cash point and pay charges, currency conversion etc, we should have been told this before arrival. In addition place is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast, but it's not what you'd expect. It's continental style, this again should be made clear. Nice clean and tidy house but it's not what I expected. Just be honest and upfront then people know what to expect.
Lovely place but the breakfast arrangements are poor. I knew it wouldn’t be a cooked breakfast but the bread and cereal etc that were left for us were cheap, no fruit juice etc. unfortunately this has let them down in my opinion as otherwise a great place near the Center
The best things about this property were that it was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was very small for a double - the bed fitted in the room but it was difficult to walk around it and the bathroom was tiny. I would advise other travellers that the property does not serve breakfast as such. There is a breakfast room where a range of cereals and milk are available, as well as bread, jam, butter and a toaster. If you want tea and coffee, you need to bring it from your room (not a hardship as such, but it would have been nice to be able to make a drink in the breakfast room).
The lady that was running the Vee was so helpful. The food was great and she was a wonderful hostess. I would recommend the Vee B&B to anyone staying in Waterford. Donna Norton
It suited our needs at the time.
The room was clean and owners quite friendly. However, this is not a B and B- they do not offer breakfast. And restaurants are about a 15-20 minute walk. We would have liked to have know that ahead of time Otherwise, nice room and friendly service!
Great host very friendly and welcoming
Nice spacious room
Excellent stay at the Vee and I will be staying again on my next trip to Waterford.
Disappointed, only told that there was no breakfast when arrived whybis it called Vee b&b. Had to wait 10 minutes outside until proprietor arrived . Room was fine, parking was good.
Small, clean, but lots of street noise.
I first want to start off with the host. He was very friendly and welcoming. But afterwards, it just went downhill from there. Had to be placed in the house a few doors down and was told they were not serving breakfast, which I paid for. When I entered my room, it was super tiny and my head kept hitting the seiling. I basically had to crawl around the room. The room condition appeared to be forgotten about, as there were holes and dents, and the sheets and pillows were stained. Yuck! Just disgusting!!! Good thing I brought my sleeping bag and own pillow. The toilet was situated in the worst possible spot when it was practically impossible to use it. Knees kept banging into the wall in front of me. The shared shower was extremely tiny and impractical to even enjoy a shower. My arms kept hitting the sides, and I'm not even a big guy. There was no window to open and it was super warm in there and I was sweating the whole time. Thank god it was just for 1 night. It was just terrible. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed at. So many other places in town that are much better I'm sure. This place literally felt like I was a prisoner in an attic or in one of those under the stairs rooms.
Bed was cozy and comfortable and room was very clean. Pleasant and friendly check in.
The room was clean but cold even with the heating on and the bed was quite uncomfortable. There was a bottle of water on the tea station and the water in it had green mold growing inside it. The shared bathroom was pretty grimy in particular the shower.
I chose this property for a weekend stayover as it included breakfast. On arrival I was told no breakfast were being served but no offer of refund. It cost me an extra 16 euro for breakfasts over the 3 days. I think this breaks advertising rules.
Reasonably close to town Centre. Helpful host, all amenities, bright and cheerful.
Good
It was a pleasant stay
Really lovely little B&B. Breakfast is great, the rooms are really clean and comfortable, good location. Can't recommend it enough.
Great hostes, great breakfast. Wonderful stay
A very nice property and host! We will return there in the future
Lovely facilities and staff couldn't have been friendlier. Would highly recommend.
Great location. Excellent bed and breakfast.
Enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the hospitality. Comfortable atmosphere in the B & B. The room was clean and the breakfast was lovely.
The breakfast area was comfortable, albeit a bit small. The property is very hard to find. Google maps could not direct us. The house is located just a few feet from a very busy road, with our room facing that road. The proprty is within walking distance of downtown Waterford. Our 3-person room was very small and cramped. The reservation was for a deluxe family suite, but we had a double bed and 2 twins crammed into a very small room. The worst part was that there wasn't any place for us to go, besides the breakfast area. No where to relax, such as a lounge. We didn't have any chairs in our room. Also, the parking area out front for guests wss very small. Thankfully, the two other patrons didnt have vehicles.
I cannot say enough good things about this B&B. The house is beautiful with a lovely sitting area in the garden. The hostess was very friendly and informative. The breakfast was fabulous and a great start to the day. Other B&B's could take lessons from our hostess Helena.
The hostess was one of the best I've ever had. She accommodated me like no other, and her breakfasts kept me full for hours. Definitely a STRONG recommendation!
The person in charge is very nice and the breakfast was very good and reasonable portion. Try to be helpful and warmly
Helen was a great host:)
Our host was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious!
