Recently stayed there with my wife from 10th Aug - 14th Aug 2026. Although this hotel is not brand new, we found that the deco, room condition and overall facilities were more than exceeded our expectations. The location is just off Penang road and is easily within reach to most of the local famous streets and places. Taking a grab to somewhere further like Air Itam is very convenient and affordable. All the staff were very friendly and during our stay there, my wife unfortunately fell on the street and hurt herself. The support we received from all the hotel stall was overwhelming. Thank you very much to the front of house Manager and all the staff for their kind support.

Thank you sooo much St.Giles wembley penang. I love the deco, cake and all they do setting to our room. They fulfill my request for my room and deco for our honeymoon. Overall, service is clean, staff friendly and helpfull, food got variety, choices everything is tiptop service and we had a good stay. We will keep booking again, love it!! Recommended to all for stay!!

A well managed hotel with very helpful and very polite staff. A special thankyou to Jamie in the restaurant. She is such a pleasant lady who is the morning supervisor in the restaurant buffet. The food selection, together with Jamie's professionalism and cheerful staff made our 14 day stay at this hotel memorable. Very impressed with a free drinking water dispenser on our level.

Just kinda noisy due to the main road traffic , how ever I got special request due booking for a quiet room, but yet still arrange the room with facing the main road

The noise coming from the ground floor . Loud music could be heard on 28th floor . There was even late night racing . Cars vrooming in the early morning .

The room need renovation, ageing furniture and old bathroom. The bed was not firm enough.

The light switches especially the master switch and the wardrobe light in our room took a bit of time to figure out. Don't remember having this problem on our stay last year.

The cafe was superb, with a good selection of buffet. The cafe waitress ( indonesian lady) was very attentive & kind.

The gym needs improving in terms of gym size and equipment. The gym needs to look and feel like a gym. Currently it feels like just a room with weights and treadmills.

The location is excellent, with convenient access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The staff are friendly and always willing to assist with any requests. The room is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay.

The shower hot water supply is delayed, requiring approximately five minutes before hot water becomes available. During this period, only cold water runs. Additionally, the air conditioning is not operating satisfactorily. Although I reported the issue and the filter was replaced, the improvement has been limited, and the unit is still not cooling effectively.

Decor is old school, although dated, maintained well enough. Pool is decent. Can do laps.

If you are a light sleeper like me, avoid. Hotel is facing a main road with engine noises of motorcycles racing through almost all night, plus a nearby place (I think a mosque?) has loud chanting in weird hours (like 5am) I couldn’t place where that chanting came from but it sounds religious (no offense whatsoever intended) it was loud enough to wake me up at 5am everyday. The hotel telephone line clearly needs repairing. Staff had trouble hearing me clearly and said it’s due to the phone line when I tried to order room service and eventually I gave up and ordered on Grab.

the room was spacious. the beds were hard, but still managed to be comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was close to some street markets and the mall. the free parking was also great. We enjoyed the lounges a lot.

The location of the hotel is good. Central water dispenser is environmentally friendly and allows guest to collect water anytime.
