Super comfy bed and great location for parkrun!
So so noisy. The air vent in the room was so loud and there seemed to be a party going on all night. Hardly any sleep
The location was close to where we got married
The fact they refused to allow an early check in even though it was our wedding day. I would have paid for the ability, but it was flat refused. Additionally they stated they were unable to sell me some bottled water.
Location
Staff very abrupt and very few smiles
Grosses Zimmer, großes und bequemes Bett. Bad mit großer Dusche. Frühstück lecker und ausreichend.
Recht weit von der Innenstadt entfernt. Das Personal sollte öfter mal lächeln!
Excellent service from all staff, food excellant
We enjoyed staying here for 3 nights. It's a quiet, friendly hotel. We used the gym which was clean and plenty of space for a few people. We really liked the pool, the jacuzzi and the sauna as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant which was really great and delicious. The room was a bit small but it was clean and we had everything that we needed.
It would be great to see a slightly wider selection of dishes on the restaurant menu.
Breakfast good. Single room 33 noisy early am as maybe over kitchen/laundry/gym?
Signs to reception FROM rooms
Good size bed. Lovely pool and well equipped gym. Great Sunday lunch. Good on-site parking.
Hot room. Window opening very small. Fan useful but couldnt use at night due to its noise. Poor breakfast. Greasy and limited choice.
Nice and quiet
The food was very good especially the breakfast. The location was good. It was clean.
The hotel was far too hot including the bedrooms. The rooms were too small and wasn't a comfortable stay. We were all there for a wedding. Booking .Com made a mistake with the rooms ( therefore the hotel thought there was only 1 person in each room) . This cost us an extra £24 each. I wasn't allowed to pay cash as I didn't have my passport ( nobody told us we would need it). So this was a huge disappointment.
Location for Trent Bridge cricket Comfortable , good bar and restaurant Clean , rooms especially well serviced
Breakfast usually good but sometimes items of food not replaced eg no muesli ,hot food running out, not much variety of fruit mostly chopped apple. A member of staff at breakfast could have been more friendly and welcoming. A “ good morning” would be nice !
Great location for a short stay in Nottingham
Helpful Reception Staff...When I asked if my friend had arrived. Answer..........I am afraid I cannot tell you............not very helpful
Near parkrun, dinner was nice. Good value for money.
Dinner stops at 9pm.
Location,Parking availability. Food.Staff
Geared up more fore business type of venue. Slightly overpriced in comparison to equivalent accommodation. Defective and inadequate flush to WC in room which was not rectified completely after a couple of attempts.
STAFF WERE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL . BATHROOM WAS CLEAN, PLENTY OF CLEAN GOOD QUALITY TOWELS ROOM WAS REASONABLY CLEAN . HOWEVER, WHEN I OPENED THE WINDOWS THE FRAMES WERE REALLY DIRTY. THE BED WAS CLEAN AND THE MATTRESS REASONABLY COMFORTABLE.
I DID NOT LIKE ALL THE STAIRS UP AND DOWN NOR DID I LIKE THE NARROW PASSAGE WAYS, PROBABLY FINE FOR FIT FOLK BUT I HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES AND HAD TWO HEAVY BAGS TO MANAGE. ALSO THOUGH THERE WAS PLENTY OF FOOD ON OFFER AT BREAKFAST, SOME OF THE HOT FOOD WAS A BIT OFF PUTTING . CONGEALED BAKED BEANS AND UNDER FRIED SLIMY EGGS. I FOUND THE POLYESTER QUILT/ DUVET UNCOMFOTABLE.
The Beeches has a large car park and on street parking nearby. It's very clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast was delicious.
The cost of the stay was more than I ordinarily would like to pay but the excellent staff, the delicious breakfast and the comfortable room eased the impact of the cost.
All great and food amazing
The pool could do with a more regular clean
Loved the facilities and a great breakfast!
Breakfast was very good. I have stayed here a number of times. Apart from one occasion when they had a problem in the kitchen, breakfast has always been good. They refunded me what I had paid for breakfast that day and were very apologetic. Apparently they got everything sorted out just as we were leaving. The pool is small but it has never been crowded so we have always enjoyed using it. The jacuzzi is great. It has a nice sauna too. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
It can get busy and expensive when there are matches (cricket or football) or events. I tend to avoid using this hotel on those days.
Lovely room, very comfortable bed, good facilities & nice accommodating staff!
Very noisy road but that is to be expected. Too much chlorine in the swimming pool & facilities My eyes were very sore & face was hurting.
Room was awful. Next door to external mechanism which made a noise all through the night!!
Impressed with how clean it was and it met all my expectations.
Really clean hotel. Nice white towels bedding. The wellness facilities was great extra. Handy for the cinema and Nottingham city centre. Friendly staff. Free parking with plenty of places. Nice bar area.
Nothing I could complain about. If pushed could say bed was too firm for me. But can't complain as its an individual taste.
The rooms were so clean, the staff were excellent. The food was just perfect. The location is perfect near fish shop, lidl, Aldi walkable distance. The rooms are very clean, no dust. Fresh towel every day if needed.
N/A I will be going back.
EASY RELAXED EXPERIENCE

Conveniently located, friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, food and drink was nice.
Nothing
Good location , clean rooms
Curtains let too much light in and didn’t close fully, struggled flushing the toilet poor pressure , both need looking at.
Wszystko.
Nic.
Sorry but the room had a really bad smell of the drains. We complained but there was no other room available so we had to stay as it was too late to find somewhere else, the staff never even offered any discount or anything. Very disappointed
Friendly, helpful staff who dealt with problems swiftly Great location and facilities
Wasps on loft but that could not be helped.
Location, facilities, spacious rooms.
Very hot. I didn’t find the beds overly comfortable but my daughter slept ok.
Staff very good and helpful. Pool was lovely for a quick swim. Room was a good size and thankfully we were at the back away from the road so able to have the window open on the two warm nights that we were there. Restaurant was very nice for an evening meal and there was a good choice at breakfast . Also car parking included which is brilliant. Bus stop virtually right outside for a great service into the city .
All good .
Really good value for money and the rooms are basic but nicer than the pictures. Was really clean and everyone from the reception to the cleaning staff were really lovely and accommodating. We stayed midweek for my daughters birthday celebrations and had the pool, sauna and gym basically to ourselves. Great if youre looking for a budget hotel that's quiet, especially at night, but is close enough to town with a bus stop right outside. It's not fancy but deserves a 10 for value for money, you can't stay in a nicer place for the same price, and the basics like cleanliness and comfortable beds etc couldn't have been better.
Decor is good, nice big mirrors all around. Room layout is good, double bed as you entered, leading to a separate single bed area, 2 TVs 😃
No need to provide soap bar, for one night use then in the bin. Mould to the wall bottles for hand-wash, body wash more economical and environmental friendly. Shelving above the basin would be very useful to put our toiletries /wash bag
Location was ideal and facilities good. Nice sized room with all we needed.
Bar prices way to high for our liking. Did not take the £15 breakfast neither.
Food was awesome and staff were great
Single room. Room hot. No Aircon. Just a fan blowing hot air around. Bed was hard and uncomfortable.
Friendly staff. Clean room.
Noisy kitchen fan from 8am to 9pm. Room would be difficult to get to if you had mobility problems.
Sehr zuvorkommendes Hotelpersonal, gute Lage, großer Parklatz, Fitnessraum mit Indoor Pool, Whirlpool und Sauna, gutes, britisches Frühstücksbuffet
eher kleines Zimmer, eher weiche Betten
I have stayed before and I really love tge hotel
Nothing at all. Everything is exceptional.
Just everything it was value for money
Nothing
it was a great experience, staff were super helpful and friendly. room was as expected (some air con would have been nice as it was 38 outside in the day but a good fan sufficed). food & drinks were great
maybe some aircon in the room as it was super hot outside but not sure its worth the in cost to be honest
I had a clean spacious room in a very well maintained hotel. The shower was excellent!
The road outside my room was quite noisy. I didn’t like being turned away for Sunday lunch. It was advertised as being available until 7pm. When I returned from work at 18:50, I was told that it had all been packed away. I didn’t wish to eat in the hotel after that.
We used the leisure facilities, very good. The room was clean and comfortable.
A warm and sincere welcome
Parking: Free and on site ✅✅✅✅✅ Appearance: ✅✅✅✅ Check-in Process: ✅✅✅✅✅ Staff: ✅✅✅✅✅ Rooms: ✅✅✅ Pool, Spa & Gym: ✅✅✅✅✅ Dinner: ✅✅✅✅ Breakfast: ✅✅✅ Having stayed multiple nights on multiple occasions for work I feel as though I have a rounded view of this hotel. Parking is great, decent car park right next to the hotel which is free when entering your reg at reception. The staff are always great - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Special mention to Josh behind the bar who couldn't have been more friendly and enthusiastic, seems a lovely bloke. Dinner is presented really well and tastes great, though it is quite a small menu if you're their for a few nights, and it's relatively pricey. My room on this occasion was ok size wise, but only had one really small window in the corner of the room, so it was quite dingy and difficult to get any air into the room - I did find a fan in the wardrobe though! The pool, spa and gym are really good for a hotel of this size - there's a sauna and a jacuzzi alongside the pool and the gym has a bit of everything. My only real recurring negative is breakfast - the buffet is usually cold as it stays under heat lamps from 7:00, on one occasion I was the only one having breakfast before 7:45. I feel as though when the hotel is quieter, it would be better for the food to be ordered then plated hot in the kitchen on request. The coffee at breakfast is always filter coffee and it's not great - frustrating when the better coffee machine behind the bar is used by the staff in the mornings, these coffees are much better. I will definitely come back again as it's convenient for my work, the pool and spa is a big bonus and overall the hotel is laid back and ticks most of the boxes well!
It was clean and nice food in the restaurant
I was in room 38 and overlooked the car park … at 6:10 in the morning the bin men arrived to empty the bottle bin which was located just below my window.. then the kitchen fans came on at 6:20 and was like a helicopter in the room … mentioned it at checkout and they were not bothered !!!
It was easy to locate easy parking and the reception area is lovely and staff were so polite and welcoming.
The room was abit too warm - The radiators were not on and the windows were open and it was still too hot, the room did have a fan but the fan was too nosey to sleep with on.
Location and facilities.
Too noisy as our room was right next to a very busy road
Spa Bereich, Für englische Verhältnisse ein gutes Frühstück
Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer! Nur ein Ventilator, es war sehr warm…
The beds were very comfortable.
It’s not the hotel’s fault but the room was far too hot for 3 people. Also, there was a very strong smell of weed coming from a room but when I went to find Someone to mention it to. I couldn’t. When I checked out the lady didn’t seem interested.
As expected convenient location
Room clean and adequate size. Excellent breakfast
The pool area and the sauna were nice.
I had great expectations for breakfast from reading previous reviews. It was very disappointing. Fruit salad was all gone by the time we arrived at 9am. There was no butter just margarine. This is an english breakfast buffet with eggs (fried and scrambled), bacon, sausages, tomatoes, baked beans kept in large dishes under a food warmer, the scrambled eggs were all dried up, but the sausages were nice. The yogurt was not great, it was a cheap proteine yogurt. You have to pay extra and go to the bar if you want a cappucino, a latte or a hot chocolate which is very inconvenient an very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Regarding the bedroom, it was small but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also very small. The view was non existent, the window looked out onto a wall with air con units running so noisy when you left the window open. Very disappointed with our stay in general. The staff at the front desk were welcoming but I would not say the same for the staff looking after the breakfast.
Everyone was polite and staff were accommodating
Nothing
The lovely pool. Comfortable bed. Good shower room. The hotel made tubs of icecream available to guests because it was so hot. 38.1°. Very thoughtful. Good bar. Friendly welcome. Parking available behind the hotel.
Some seating adgacent to the pool would have been welcome.
everything went well as usual brilliant
Location and free parking , staff friendly
No Aircon Rooms are extremely noisy
Clean and comfortable, lovely, helpful staff, great location for us. Lovely bathroom. Great breakfast.
The bedroom was really hot, no air con or individual thermostat for the room, I understand the hotel isn’t responsible for the weather (there was a heatwave) but they need to invest in some sort of heat control for the rooms. Lovely air con in the restaurant though. Also, no cocktail menu, photos on booking.com show cocktails, so that needs deleting as although it didn’t spoil our stay, we were a bit disappointed.
Good location. Big comfortable room. Professional staff. Good food and drink. Plenty of parking.
Nothing
Easy access on the bus route to Trent Bridge and the train station. Nice clean comfortable hotel.
Clean tidy pleasant and good food
Exceptional weather and no air-conditioning Was really really too hot
Parking was convenient but the hotel was by the road so it was quite noisy.
The staff. Helpful, friendly.
No Aircon con.
Gym pool jacuzzi sauna all great easy to get to town center i used taxis costing no more than £5 ( bolt app) friendly staff never used hotel bar or restaurant but or so looked nice
May be because of how warm it's been would of been nice to have small fridge in room exclude the hot weather would not of been a problem I only had small i bed room so bigger rooms may have them but again not a problem
Nice and modern. Beautiful decor.
My room was over 30 degrees at night even with the fan. Tiny window which looked very n to another building so no ventilation. Everything else was spot on.
This is really disappointing as we are frequent visitors to this hotel and have in the past LOVED it. However This visit just wasn’t up to the normal standard. Fundamentally no air conditioning in the summers we now have is just not acceptable - budget hotels offer this, it is no longer seen as a ‘luxury’ and to not be offering this feature is hugely detrimental to the quality of stay. We have left a night early as we couldn’t stand the heat, lack of sleep and discomfort for another night. Along side this fundamentals like damaged paint, rubbish in the corridor for over 24 hours and extortion bar prices are changes that mean we are now unlikely to return. All of this being said, the staff are unbelievably helpful and accommodating and the spa area is wonderful.
We only booked a small double room. The spa and pool was a bonus. The breakfast was very nice. My husband had a full English, I would have liked porridge but I managed with the muesli. There was a bus stop just outside the main entrance, we crossed the road and got the number1 bus into Nottingham, so no need to drive. The bed was comfortable and clean crisp linen. We were only a few minutes walk from a beautiful river. Would stay again, if ever we were in the area
Nothing
Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Food at the hotel was very good Spa was really nice Staff were good Happy to revisit
The road at the front was very busy and noisy at times which cannot be helped. It did not spoil our stay at all
Location for us was great
Price of a pint
Within walking distance of Trent Bridge
Receptionists not very welcoming on check in. Felt like we were being a nuisance interrupting what they were talking about.
Polite, friendly, well organised staff
Lack of air conditioning and fan noise
Good location for Trent Bridge cricket
We had swan towels, as they knew it was our anniversary, so that was nice touch. We had the sauna, jacuzzi and pool for an hour and 20 mins to ourselves so that was nice (luck) The hotel was near the river Trent, was was able to have nice walks, the city centre was about 45/50 walk.
There was quite a bit of dust in the room, the remote control for the tv was dirty. There was not much choice for cold breakfast.
Plus the bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean, the bar looked oaky. Location was okay.
Room - I got room 36 it was like been in a maze or call it zig zag locating the room was an adeventure. No air conditioner only fan. Sofa bed was very hard and rigid. Room was like a roft type and very very humid and no fresh air. We had very bad allergy carpet thick .
clean staff really friendly
Most staff were friendly and helpful. One or two were not so helpful.
The hotel is tired away from the bar and restaurant. We stayed in a junior suite, two iron burns were in the carpet. No lock on the bathroom door and some of the door furniture was hanging off. A light switch was behind the headboard, every time we moved, the lights came on or off.
The hotel was lovely staff were excellent clean food was good . The only problem I had was the room was so hot even with the Dan on all night it was so hot
Most of the staff couldn’t do enough for me. Customer service is paramount. There was a small fridge in the Reception area with ice cream and chilled water too as it was so hot outside - a nice touch. Excellent. Good free parking and free wifi.
The size of the single room was very small for the price. The bed had a number of protective covers on the mattress and the quilt was thick - all that was needed in the heat was a sheet on the mattress and one on top. The room had a tiny window opening onto a small encased concrete area so there was no air flow possible which made it very uncomfortable. The hotel did provide two fans though. A couple of hooks in the bathroom for hanging wash bags would be useful - on the back of the door perhaps?
Breakfast was plentiful.
Small double room was very small. Tired bathroom and a view that looked out onto an air conditioning unit and enclosed flat roof.
Excellent location to where I was going and superb car parking facilities. Staff were very helpful.
Room was quite hot but the fan provided in room did help.
Very nice gym , and pool

Everything
Because the route to the room was quite long with some stairs, an offer of assistance with luggage for elderly would have been welcome.
Very pleasant staff, great breakfast, ample parking and a comfy room.
The food in the restaurant was superb, both dinner and dessert. Was really very impressed with it. The hotel is in a decent location. I did not make use of the leisure facilities, but it all looked very clean and well kept.
Unfortunately, I stayed on the hottest day of the year, in a single room, with a tiny window. It felt like I was sleeping inside of a fan oven. Some aircon would have been really good in a room so small.
Spa facilities and pool were lovely
Small shower /ensure for a family room
Rooms unbelievably hot.
Good location with bus stop to town on the doorstep. Plenty of parking space. Staff always available and friendly. Very clean with clean towels changed daily, tea, coffee and toiletries replenished daily. Restaurant and bar part of the hotel. Great stay! will come again when next in Nottingham. Note: King size rooms more spacious than the cheaper ones!
Nothing
Nice location. Clean and tidy. Iron and board available
No full length mirror. Stuffy room.
Very clean, very comfy beds and very close to Trent Bridge. All of staff were extremely friendly and a special shout out to Kat on reception who was lovely. Breakfast was buffet style and very tasty and plentiful. Good on site parking.
No air con but fan was provided.
Breakfast was good with a range of options. Excellent location if going to Trent Bridge.
Restaurant food was merely satisfactory, both main and dessert.
The reception staff were lovely and full of local information.
The room had no air conditioning and although we had a large fan in the room it was very noisy to sleep at night.
Very clean, excellent breakfast and facilities
Room like a sauna
The room was spacious
There were no plug sockets near the bed. The telephone didn’t work in the room. The breakfast was disappointing.
The hotel was like a maze was hard to find the room allocated to us. The room had a very bad smell to it so we had to open all the windows put on the fan and spray the room with our perfume.
The double bed was quite small.
Staff were lovely
Rooms not comfortable, poor bedding
