Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Higashiyama Grand Hotel

朝夕のビュッフェが雑然としている。 アメニティが最低限の備えしかない。

お部屋がゆったりしていた。

緑の山が見えるが、もう少し草木の手入れがしてあると良かったです。

夕食のバイキングが良かった。日本酒も美味しかった。

お風呂が夜でも周りが見えると良かった。

It’s a dated property from the mid-70s but it has a real charm with it. It’s just about walkable to the edge of the city but there is a semi regular bus you can catch from a 10-min walk or so along the road, and taxis back aren’t super expensive. It’s the kind of place you go to stay and relax at the hotel, not leave and go day-tripping — and that was ideal for us. The main onsen is pretty amazing and the buffet is fairly impressive (albeit the same every day). Recommended for a 2-3 day stay.

Nothing at all disclosed about tattooed people not being allowed in the onsen — either on the booking page, in communications before arrival, or while checking in. Luckily they didn’t seem to actually care, so I don’t know if this rule is ever enforced. One onsen has a much better view than the others, and while their own documentation says they switch daily, they actually only changed once on the morning we left (the fourth day we were there).

部屋が広くてとても良かったです。

お風呂のスリッパを入れる袋が小さかった。

The hotel is old and dated, but overall clean, I liked the room, it was huge. Outside the windows is massive green trees, it must be so beautiful in the fall.

Some areas are not well air conditioned

1人で4人部屋広くて…少し気味がわるいな

室内も快適で清潔感があり、とても良く、大浴場も広く、湯の温度も調度良く快適でした。

サウナ室内に砂時計はあるが、12分時計など置いてほしい､又、浴室が広く良いのですが、どこからでも見られる大きな時計が浴室にもほしい

I liked it so much I extended my stay!! Such a beautiful natural environment around the hotel, lots of good walks, but beware of bears 🐻 really!! Great Onsen and the food was amazing and plentiful. Love the beer pouring machine and the great Yukata they provided to wear. The staff were kind and helpful and we just used the translator app when it got too complicated.

No wifi in the rooms.

古い作りなので小さな段差が多い。

We liked the beautiful mountain views. We liked the hotel’s onsen. We liked that the hotel had a shuttle bus to take guests to the train station/ town and pick up.

There was no coined laundry.

The room is spacious. Love the buffet breakfast & dinner. Free flow of beer and local sake even though I don't drink but I get to taste the three types of sake. Main car park near hotel usually full and the next car park is 100m away. The hotel do provide free shuttle bus service, we take a slow walk there most of the times, no problem at all.

The corridor has food and smoking smell at time.

前回宿泊した時は風呂上がりに飲み放題のアルコールがありました。今回はなかった。 バイキングの数が減っていました。残念

Le personnel est super sympa et vous aide en cas de besoin. L'hôtel est spacieux, calme et reposant. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont très bons.

Let lits individuels n'était pas très confortable. Je préfère les matelas très moelleux mais si vous appréciez ceux plus fermes alors tant mieux.

Spacious japanese style room, very quiet. Food at the buffet breakfast and dinner was tasty and varied plus dinner included all you can drink alcohol bar. Good onsen with large choice of onsen products.

スタッフさんは対応が丁寧でとても快適に過ごせました。 評価はその時々(方々)で変わると思いますが、大江戸温泉物語で悪いと感じた事がない。

海外の方より日本人の入浴のマナーが悪い先輩がおおかった。
