Everything closing so early on a weekend evening and being locked out as we had been given the wrong key

The room was large and clean with plenty of light and the ensuite was equally large. The tea and coffee supplies in the room were topped up each day which was much appreciated, Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the location of Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms was perfect for visiting local attractions and for walks around Rutland Water.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. Perhaps it is worth noting that there was a staircase up to our room which may not have suited people with mobility problems but it was no problem for us at all.

Staff were pleasant and helpful, room very good indeed, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent - you'd go a long way to get a better one.

No evening meals available, the bed comfort less the average and the pillows were very hard for us - a softer option would have been appreciated.

A bit isolated, do need a car,no evening meals ,pubs within five mile radius. Some noise from golfers in morning.

I recently stayed at Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms while attending a friend’s wedding and had a wonderful experience. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely en-suite that felt modern and well-maintained. Despite there being a golf competition on, the property remained surprisingly quiet and peaceful throughout my stay. The included breakfast was a real highlight, delicious, varied, and a great way to start the day. The amenities were excellent, and there was plenty of room to relax and unwind. Communication before and after the stay was outstanding; a special thank you to Debbie and Emily for their friendly, helpful, and prompt service. I would highly recommend Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable, and well-run place to stay.

Excellent breakfast. Clean and quiet room.

The location was lovely

It was not as clean as you would expect also it requires some TLC to bring it up to standard.

Loved the location, the spacious, comfy room and gorgeous views. Plus, we were able to try golf which was fun.

A minibar/ fridge would have been helpful

Breakfast excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was spotless but sadly no air conditioning which was a must for the hottest June recorded. There was a fan.

The shower door was difficult to operate.

We thought the breakfast was exceptional and had nice touches not often seen with other hotels ie the fresh fruit, yoghurt and croissants. The location suited us very well as we were easily able to walk alongside the golf course to Rutland water and from there walked to the nature reserve to see the ospreys.

If I had to find fault I would say the toilet seat was rather stained.

Was a lovely property. We were given a deluxe room, with a very large en-suite. Windows on all sides, with lovely views of the golf course and surrounding countryside.! It just blow me away how nice it all was

The only thing I would say I didn’t like. Was that it was a place most people went to for playing golf. So the bar and reception closed early. It would have been nice to get a drink in the bar before going to bed. Yet we understand why they would close.

The room was not clean it had not been hooverd there was no toilet paper so had to go down to the bar to ask for some the breakfast was served in a room that was full of cobwebs and it was very unpleasant the breakfast was basic and not very well cooked

The room was lovely with double aspect windows, the breakfast was delicious and substantial, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was really comfortable, lovely walk down to Rutland Water. If iI was in the area I would stay again

Location was perfect for us and the food was really nice.

Lovely clean modern rooms. Nice decor. Staff very friendly and extremely accommodating and flexible when we needed to arrange a later breakfast and later checkout due to delays we experienced whilst doing the Dambuster Triathlon. Breakfast was also good and plentiful.

Only thing to mention here is our toilet kept running all night long after the last flush of the night! Probably faulty ball valve but it was very late to call anyone and we had an early start next day so we put up with it which did disturb my sleep but can't complain about it as we never flagged it to them to sort at the time. We made the cleaners aware the next day.

Clean and comfortable

High quality, new, comfortable room. Amazing breakfast. Was a nice touch for the lady to call me 2 days before saying that I can check in any time, no need to wait. Allowed me to store my bike in a dry place.

Room is very small. It is by far not a 4 start accommodation as advertised. The window is just a small something at the carpet level. At night there was a party and it was heard (nothing too problematic, but I could hear it). Nothing around in 3km area. That usually a plus, but there was no food at the place itself, and it was raining. It's a golf club. Go there if you want to play golf. Don't go there otherwise.

As the rooms surround the beer garden, this could be an issue in the Summer months. Rooms not well insulated from this.

Breakfast was fantastic with local produce and plenty of it. Room was lovely, clean and nicely presented.

The rooms have VERY thin walls and we had someone in the next room watching TV til very late which kept us awake. I doubt it was even on that loud but the walls are so thin.

The room was spacious, clear and well decorated. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was also very good. We had a very nice stay albeit for just the one night.

I hadn't appreciated that these are rooms in a golf club which was probably my fault. There's nothing wrong with that, I had thought they were overlooking the golf course. The walls aren't thick and we could hear the thunderous snoring of whoever was in the adjacent room. Via a short walk you can see Rutland water but it's a fair trek to get to it.

Great location for Rutland water. Good rooms and facilities and comfortable bed. Breakfast was also good with great selection from pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit to full English.

The only issues were noisy golfers arriving early and golfers using the ball machine at the driving range. Basically it was noisy from 6am!

We loved the place, the staff, the room and the breakfast were all superb!

The only downside was the attitude of some of the golfing members towards us. On 2 separate occasions, we were told that we couldn't park our car there and just go off biking. We had paid £180 for our 1 night stay, and twice had to put up with being questioned by golfers on site. They need to be told that people other than golfers use the hotel.

Large, spacious, comfortable room with a high spec bathroom. Lovely view over the golf course towards the lake. Comfy bed. Good breakfast.

A mini fridge in the room would have been good and a better TV. But these are us being picky as we had a good stay and enjoyed the room.

Friendly staff, super close to the golf facilities and an excellent breakfast.

Where we ate breakfast was draughty and a little cold on both mornings. The carpet on the stairs to our room was really quite dirty and in need of a good clean, first impressions are important and the loo seat was very loose. All things that can be put right very easily.

Rooms were nice. Breakfast was phenomenal (outstanding yoghurt and berries plus warm chocolate croissants even before the main food arrived). It's a beautiful location right on Rutland water.

My neighbours banged their door shut every 5 minutes from 4am to 7am, so I didn't sleep much. A request to residents to close doors quietly, or a mechanisms to soften door closing, would help. It's a bit expensive if you get around by taxi.

Overlooking carpark to golf course and was a bit noisy after 6.30am. This wasn't too bad for us as we are early risers.

The accommodation was excellent really good value for money. The Staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and the accommodation was spotlessly clean.

There wasn't anything negative I could say about staying here. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying there.

Beautiful location - could walk through fields down to Rutland Water. Breakfast was amazing in terms of quality, variety and quantity - had to have a doggy bag.

Economy double room (in converted stables) had a sloping ceiling and small window so it was a little dark but otherwise confortable.

The double-ended bath was a bit small and the plug would not seal, so needed blocking with a flannel to maintain a decent level.

Beautiful room with wonderful views. Superb breakfast - exceptional.

Some cobwebs in hallway and under both sinks in bathroom and in some hidden away corners but I am being a bit picky this did not affect our lovely stay here. No vegetarian sausages available for breakfast on this occasion.

Nice 3 bed house close to golf clubhouse . Close to friends who we were visiting for a party.Able to access path around Rutland water for walks .Good outside space with ample garden furniture.

Inside dining area in lounge rather small. Only one bedroom had an ensuite and main bathroom was halfway up narrow staircase.

The location was lovely. On a golf course but no noise encountered. The Deluxe King room was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean. There was plenty of storage room and the bathroom was very high spec. The breakfast was amazing. All staff we encountered were lovely.
