Great service good food

We got an upgrade on arrival and the room was very spacious and clean. Team were friendly.

The room was a little cold (need some soft furnishings and a rug would have made it more comfortable. The location/ entry was strange as we were right by a train track and no idea how you cross that to get to the actual waterfront...

The welcoming staff at reception Miso, Mershannon, Genevive, Nkaviso and the breakfast team including Mande and Tiger were always smiley and so helpful. They attended to us whenever needed, even the porters including the always energetic young guy (can't remember his name - still on probation), the so knowledgeable Abraham (driver to and from V&A) services were second to none. You are all assets to the hotel and keep the level up.

Possibly the journey to the V&A is not that easy but the shuttle services do help. Also some entertainment in the evening would have been a plus.

We had a room with 2 double rooms that we booked for a family of 4 for a 2 night stay in Cape Town. Very comfortable beds, modern room with nice bathroom. A bit of a squeeze for 4 people but was fine for a short stay. The hotel location is good relatively near the waterfront - they offer a shuttle / canal boat that drops off at 2 different points on the waterfront. We were on b&b and the breakfast is very good / lots of choice in the buffet plus you can order some fresh cooked items from the à la carte menu. There is a small gym there as well and a pool (not heated). There is paid parking at 100 rand per night. Service is good, much like everywhere we went to in the western cape. Overall a pretty comfortable place to stay in cape town.

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful and memorable. From the moment we arrived, the entire team, from the door staff/attendants to the concierge and every staff member we interacted with, welcomed us with genuine warmth, kindness, and exceptional professionalism. The level of service we experienced was outstanding. Every person went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable, valued, and well taken care of. The restaurant team provided exceptional service, always attentive to our needs, checking in on us regularly, and greeting us with such warmth and enthusiasm every morning. My husband, my daughter, and I stayed for seven nights, and throughout our entire stay we were treated with such care, respect, and hospitality. We have travelled to many hotels, but we have never experienced this level of genuine service and personal attention. The staff truly made us feel special and created an experience that we will always remember. A special thank you to Amaarah, Tiger, Nande, Jonathan, and the wonderful door staff, including Khanya, who all played a part in making our stay exceptional. I wish we could remember and mention every single person by name, because each one contributed to making our experience so beautiful. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication, kindness, and commitment to excellence. May God bless you all abundantly for the amazing work you do. Your hospitality is a true reflection of the heart and soul of this hotel.

We booked room 509 and 511, we had to always call to have the room temperature adjusted as it was cold..I'm sure there is a way to get guests to adjust the temperature as desired.

Cleanliness of the rooms was excellent

Shower took to long for the water to get hot and pressure was low.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It offers excellent value for money, with modern and comfortable rooms, a very clean environment, and friendly, professional staff. The breakfast was varied and of good quality, and the overall service was efficient throughout our stay. The location is also convenient, making it a great option whether you’re staying for business or as a stop before or after a flight. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, beautiful hotel, gracious staff and welcoming atmosphere at this Marriott hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and ours looked out over Table Mountain while others faced the water. Their dining room has a good wine list and menu, although African game was not on it when we were there. The hotel runs a shuttle to the V&A Waterfront's numerous diversions. From check-in to check-out five days later we were greeted with smiles by everyone who worked there. We give them 5+ stars and highly recommend them

I felt R100 per day for parking to be a little high, especially as the parking was far from fully utilized. There are shuttles to the waterfront which was very useful but the hotel is situated directly opposite the cruise terminal and I did not find the location to be entirely convenient for our purposes but that’s not to say it is not convenient for others.

I am writing to share my appreciation for the incredible experience my family and I had at your hotel. The true heart of this establishment is undoubtedly its staff. Every interaction was exceptional, from the front-of-house team assisting with our bags and taxis to the welcoming reception staff. I would like to give a special mention to Nelson and Tiger for their hospitality, as well as the wonderful women in the restaurant who were so kind to my two young daughters. Our rooms were clean and spacious enough for a family of four, thanks to the friendly housekeeping team. We also thoroughly enjoyed the tasty breakfast each morning. A significant highlight of our stay was the concierge, Michael, who went the extra mile to help us book day trips and provided invaluable advice. Additionally, the shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront was extremely useful. Keith and the other gentleman driving the shuttle were patient, kind, and professional. While the location and price are great, it is the people who truly elevated our stay. Thank you for such a memorable visit

Leider war der Rooftop-Pool während unseres Aufenthaltes wegen Renovierung geschlossen. Der Pool war mit ein Grund, wieso wir das Hotel gewält haben. Sehr schade...

Food standards and service pretty good for a four star hotel. Location not on the waterfront but good to know the hotel provide a shuttle service to the waterfront area free of charge and very frequent.

There is nothing specific that we did not like. For a four star hotel the rooms, food outlets and staff service were excellent.

Not easy to get to on foot but a fantastically run hotel. The Staff are more than just friendly, everyone in the place has a smile and a conversation. The food in the restaurant is exceptional and the breakfast superb both in terms of variety and presentation. The rooms are spacious and well thought out, the shower is massive and water pressure good. Tea coffee and hair drying facilities are in the room. The plug sockets in SA are a little different from anywhere else I've been, but a word with reception and they provide an adaptor.

Room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Though location is not on V&A waterfront, hotel is mere 5 to 8 minutes away by car. Complimentary hourly shuttle service is available from hotel to Silo Hotel from 10am. Excellent start from delightful welcome from Grant and Anele upon arrival. Grant made great effort and patiently showed me two rooms to ensure I will be comfortable; also showed me some guest facilities. Found Grant to excel in his work though he is new to his role; he is wonderfully guest centric in his approach, pleasant, speaks well, high in civility with great interpersonal skills. Surely well positioned to make great first impression for arriving guests. Grant has great potential to excel. Always lovely to return to hotel at end of the day and warmly welcomed by Khanya and team. He always asked about my daily activities. Great effort to engage guests. Thanks to Adrien for taking great care of my drinking water supply and his generous attention. Love Grant, Adrien, Khanya. Shuttle service operator, Andre also stood out strongly. Andre is intelligent, well experienced, careful shuttle driver, speaks well and shows great care for his passengers, and keeps timely departure from hotel and pick up from Silo Hotel. Interesting to hear about his life during the short drive to and from hotel. Love Andre. Thanks Abraham also for reliable service over two days. Thanks to Shumera for facilitating visit to Robben Island museum so efficiently considering Monday morning. Shumera cared to follow up by asking about my experience/ feedback after my visit. We had few big laughs that evening. Thanks to front desk team, Miso, Geniveve, David for efficient check in/ out and warm welcome. Thanks to attentive, efficient restaurant team - Tutu, Amaarah, Onelisiwe, Sibo, Luna, Nuraan, Ngabiwa, and all others for serving breakfast well Top Bonvoy experience since joining few years ago.

Vi likte hotell lobbyen den var med både lounge og restaurant så vi var der på kvelden etter en lang dag på reise. Veldig bra de hadde skyttelbusser inn til Waterfront. Vi kunne gå også det gjorde jo dag 2 når solen kom. Store rom, men typisk business hotell i en stor by. Personalet var meget hyggelige og imøtekommende det satte vi stor pris på. Hotellet er greit for en natt ikke noe særlig lengre.

Badebassenget og soldekket var stengt, en heis var i uorden.

Não tem passagem direta para o Waterfront, então você tem que ir andando pelo canal ou pegar o transfer grátis que o hotel oferece de hora em hora. Como a noite é perigoso andar a pé tem que pegar o transfer te limitando nos horários. Apesar disso, para nós foi ótimo
