Food some mornings was really salty

Overall, the room was ok except for the sheets on the one bed. Staff listened and was very accomodating and kind to our complaints and issues. View from the hotel was outstanding and it was very quiet.

We stayed here last year at the same time. The bedsheets had a stain on them. They were laundered but the stain still existed so housekeeping had to change all the bedding but not until the next morning. Did not see it until I pulled down the sheets for bedtime and they were gone. There was an unpleasant smell when we first walked into the room which I also discussed with the front desk. She thought it was coming from the ventilation but I am not sure about that. It needed to be Lysol or disinfected better. The breakfast was not as good as it was in the past. Before they had a bowl of fresh fruit, chocolate muffins etc... More variety and items. The diced pototoes were way too salty. We hope these issue will be improved upon in the future.

Staff and physical plant of the hotel are incredible! The breakfast buffet was good food and lovely staff.

The property is beautiful and clean, in a gorgeous outdoor setting. The decor was very elegant. I enjoyed having a restaurant on-site for dinner and an included breakfast as part of the nightly rate. The bathroom was large and gorgeous with lots of counter space. I loved the outlets and USB on the nightstand. I appreciated that the air conditioning came back on automatically when we re entered the room. The staff was very nice and friendly. PLENTY of nice, thick towels.

My bed made a loud noise every time I turned over (boinggggg) and was not comfortable. That was the main reason the property didn't meet my expectations. Everything else was small. The breakfast ran out of pancake mix 30 minutes before it closed. The carpet area where we ate smelled very damp and musty. The shower pressure was weak and the shower door only covered half of the shower, allowing water into the rest of the bathroom and cold water into the shower. We got in late and tried to sleep past 8am but the auto air system turned off and the room got hot. The hallways were also super warm with no AC. The water fountain was warm. I was a little nervous as a woman going into the dark, enclosed space where the ice was, not realizing how close the machine was or that the light would come in. There was no vending there either, even though the sign stated it was "Ice and vending." Also no toilet seat in bathroom - I was worried I would drop something.

Beautiful secluded location

Far from any amenities. Shower had hair in it. Staff that checked us in were not very friendly but they handled the mix up with my name being entered backwards.

The Booking com website indicated that the hotel was pet friendly but there was no mention of a $50/night pet fee which I only found out about after checking out.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating to my one year and myself. The room was spotless so I didn't even worry about him rolling around on the floor as toddlers do. We had a great time here.

The property is located on a gorgeous golf course, surrounded by pastures and farmhouses. The beds were comfortable, its clean, and breakfast was amazing!

Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet. It was fine, nothing special. But it was kept full and clean.

Bathroom shower design gets a lot of the bathroom floor wet. Good towels.

I liked the carpetless floor. I liked that they were willing to help me search for and find something I had left behind. I liked that breakfast & parking was included. I like that I was able to get 1 bed (king) instead of 2 beds since I'm just 1 person. I liked that it was only 15 minutes to my training when I thought it would be 20.

I didn't like the issues I had connecting to the wifi. I had some trouble with the available computer near the printer.

I particularly like that some hot food was being served for breakfast. The hotel was clean and my room quiet. I also enjoyed the gym.

I ordered a mac and cheese with chicken at the restaurant for dinner on my first night and developed diarrhoea that night...not sure why - I did not bother to complain and just never went back to the restaurant during the rest of my stay. I also found the sausages served for breakfast was sometimes salty, which is odd. I would suggest that the hotel ensures their clocks are working fine. The clock in my room had an incorrect time; the clocks in both the gym and swimming pool areas were not working.

We booked specifically for the kids to enjoy the pool. The water was so cold they were shivering. We asked to have it warmed for next day but did not happen.

Our room was unfortunately over the outside pool patio. Loud music until we complained to the front desk. We were told that he would take care of it. It was finally off at 10:20. Will request a room at the front of the hotel next time!

Breakfast was pretty good. The space allotment at each the stations was nice so that there weren't lots of people waiting to access food. Seating was adequate but due to a crowded time, we were told that the bar seating was open as well. We enjoyed that area since it had booths.

LIghting in the dining area was minimal. It seemed dark.

Awesome breakfast buffet

This was a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL! The staff were EXCEPTIONAL as well! The price was Exceptional as well!

The only thing that wasn’t the best was the open shower which allowed so much water on the floor of the bathroom. Not sure if anything slightly different would help. But it certainly didn’t dampen the awesomeness of this place!

The facility is attractive and clean. The staff were helpful and courteous. The location was perfect for our needs. The free breakfast was very nice.

The heater in the room was extremely loud the first night, so we turned it off to sleep. During quiet hours you could hear the toilet being flushed in other rooms because they were so forceful.

I booked two adjoining rooms which were assigned on the 4th floor. They were freezing when we arrived and maintenance couldn’t figure out how to increase the temperature. This went on from 3pm to 10pm. The entire 4th floor had a heating issue which the hotel didn’t detect until we complained. Also, the water temperature was not very hot for showering. The food in the restaurant was mediocre (frozen fries and not freshly made) and over priced.

We were not allowed to check in until 8 pm due to some event. We were not warned of this until the morning of and offered no compensation for this inconvenience.

I wish my down pillow preference was able to be accommodated.
