ibis Pontianak City Center

Breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. It was not as big as other buffets, but it was well managed with plenty of food. The staff were exceptional in their service. The room and the bathroom were excellent with a very comfy bed and a nice functional bathroom, interesting bathroom design. The view of the museum was also a nice touch.

Honestly, it's easy to mix up the properties on Booking.com, I thought they had a pool and exercise room. That was my fault for not paying closer attention. The Mercure hotel managed by the same company had the pool and exercise room. They were available but at an extra cost. The TVs in the room could also be a smart TV. The haze was terrible and both my wife and I had colds so we stayed in the room a lot and would have liked to watch NetFlix or something else on a smart tv.

Ibis Hotel is one of the best hotel in Pontianak. Its a good place to stay.

The spagetti was cold And my biggest complain The fruit was not covered ( only papaja and watermelon) With plastik or in a small glas box So the flies can come on the fruit and donuts and also other things Please you should cover it ! Those were my remarks I hope you do somthing with it

Ibis hotels are usually comfy and well run, in my experience, and this is a good one. Excellent beds, quiet despite being on busy road, friendly and helpful staff. Large and varied breakfast buffet (mostly Indonesian) and spotlessly clean. All good.

I could wish for hotter water. No pool.

It was inexpensive. I even paid for an extra night even though I checked out in mid-evening, just to have a place to rest. Some people at the front desk were helpful.

The room was adequate but no more. I was treated rudely in the restaurant. There was no restaurant in the vicinity, and even a convenience store was some distance away.

Love the ambience. Love the service. Tiptop service by Mas Sani. The room is spacious for 2 pax. Bedding was ok. Toilet was a tad bit small. But still spotless. Location was very near to everything. Overall, all the staff was very helpful whenever we need anything

It is clean, comfortable and safe. There is WiFi in the room. The location is great - next to the mall and local restaurants, and a short ride away from the town. The staff are exceptional. Very friendly and always helpful. Whatever questions you have or whatever you need, you can just call or pop down and they help straight away. The view from the room is a great view of the city and the museum gardens.

The description says the room is soundproof and it definitely isn't! Also, one night I went to eat at the restaurant only to find it was reserved for a private function and I couldn't go in.

Stay here for 2 nights, no check in/out hustle. Great place to stay, clean, near the city. As it keeps raining, I stayed the whole day at the room only to order online foods. And most importantly all the staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank you!

I had an excellent stay at Ibis Pontianak City Center! The atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax. Staying at Hotel Ibis Pontianak was our first stay because we travelled for our documenter, first impression when we arrived there is the staff in front liner (receptionist) that they were smiling at us and we felt so welcome, check in faster and our room was comfortable, clean, AC was cold, Television, free wifi to use for work, also private bathroom with complete amenities. when we were going to restaurant, staff there also very nice, food for breakfast was varieties and for me it's delicious, staff like sisilia company me and my husband and asking us about our experience,she was nice (her English also good) and asking details questions and for me it's like caring and we really appreciate it. i just want to say that make sure your rooms already booked include breakfast or if isn't you can request while you are check in at reception because it's cheaper than you pay down at restaurant. Overall we really satisfied while staying there.

ants and dirty shower. they offered to switch my room because of the smoke coming through the vents but i felt like that would not have helped so i declined. the man who checked me in gave me bad keys which caused confusion for a week
