Gorgeous villa, great staff, include breakfast and have option for serving dinner too!
Welcoming staff, beautiful property, on-site winery and food truck, pool. Great breakfast. Peaceful, comfortable.
Breakfast is delicious. Pool is awesome. Spa massage was truly relaxing. The staff is top class.

The hotel is so clean, cute, cozy, and peaceful! I could have spent the whole day just relaxing by the pool and enjoying the view. The rooms are spotless, the included breakfast is amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
The only downside is that you have to drive on a dirt road for about 10 minutes to get to the hotel, but that’s the price you pay for such a peaceful place.
Beautiful location, the room was perfect. The complimetary breakfast is outstanding. The pool are is was perfect and the walk around the ground and sculpture garden was nice surprise.
Location. Decor , staff and general experience was amazing.
I didn't like that we only spend two nights there 😃
There is practically no room for improvement for this hidden gem.
The roads in Valle de Guadalupe can be sometimes bumpy and dusty, but it is not something for La Villa to fix.
Stunning location right in central Valle. A beautiful home with lovely, eclectic art throughout. The staff were incredible. We instantly felt at home and taken care of. The multi course breakfast was to die for! Go to breakfast hungry!
You could hear people coming and going, doors opening and closing so didn’t feel as private as other places in Valle.
The property's location is fantastic sitting on top of a hill with sweeping views of the valley from the main living room and rooms also. Feels like a small villa in Tuscany . It's small (only 6) rooms and intimate, with rustic nice decor It is private and quiet which we LOVED. The included breakfast is delicious and excellent. The staff friendly. The pool (not heated) and hot tub especially are clean and awesome and sitting under the stars or in the morning in the hotub was great. Not many hotels have this especially with the privacy. Their food truck/restaurant Troika next to their wine tasting room Vena Cava on the property also has very good food for lunchand nice fun casual atmosphere outside overlooking a pond. Massages on property also if you like was excellent and they have a little yoga room by pool where we did a yoga session one morning. So nice. This is an awesome place to rent out with a small group since you have the whole place to yourselves.
The dirt Road to get there once you get off the main road is def bumpy. We had a truck so not a problem but a low small car might have issues. The property is beautiful but the maintenance on the grounds could be better. Lots of weeds everywhere, and just needs some TLC. Same with the furniture inside the living room. The leather sofas are beginnig to peel etc and could be a bit more comfy with more pillows etc for such an awesome room that you want to hang out in. At $360+ a night, needs to be a bit more elevated and maintained for a property charging these prices. Bed was ok but pillows are clumpy and not great. Again, for the price, bedding and comfort need to be upgraded. The A/C was also SO loud. We sleep with earplugs anyway, so it didnt bother us really, but if we didn't have them there is no way would have been able to sleep. Maybe was just our room, I don't know. The staff is friendly and welcoming but again, we both felt that when you check in a bit more of a warmer welcome would be nice, show us around, maybe confirm the service we booked, maybe a little welcome drink something would elevate the experience and make it seem a bit more luxury and set the tone for your stay like other places do that are charging this level of nightly rates. There is not much they need to do to elevate everything jus a little bit to make the value worth it.
Lovely property, staff and breakfast
All was good
Bella casa con muchos detalles! El personal Muy amable y atento.
Todo Estuvo muy bien.
The hotel was wonderful in every way possible. From the moment we pulled in, we were greeted and given a tour of the property. I felt like I was arriving to a family home as the hospitality was so inviting. The property is beautiful, private and has a very tranquil feel.
Can’t think of one complaint.
Staff were there the minute we arrived and made us feel so incredibly welcome. The villa is gorgeous and the attention to design and detail impeccable. We loved our room with a window and a gorgeous balcony. Food was stellar and the pool divine.
We first visited la Villa del Valle about 20 years ago and have returned four or five times. It is always a special treat. Gracious staff, excellent breakfasts, in a lovely setting. The photos are from our walk on the property.
The hospitality at this property is exceptional. Lovely staff. Breakfast was delicious. Venacava, the winery on property was excellent. The location is somewhat secluded which I liked. The pool and jacuzzi felt like an oasis. Excellent value.
Not really a hotel , more like a nice air bnb when all said and done. No welcome drink and it’s a hotel with a winery attached??? The women who ‘checked us in’ was far from enthusiastic. The gentleman who takes over sometimes was much much more welcoming. Beautiful grounds and pool!
Everything and everyone , what a gem of a place , the rooms were clean the bedding was so soft and comfortable , the views , pool and grounds , perfection , the breakfast delicious . Last but not least the staff , Felix , Eliana , zulema and Samantha , just wonderful and professional . Can't wait to go back
😍
Magical property, and magical stay, on so many levels. Has my highest recommendation. Wish I could give 100 stars, like those I saw from our terrace at night.
70 acres of peace and joy in the valley. The Jacuzzi was hot and the pool was nice and cool. The villa itself is like being in Tuscany. We loved it. This is my fourth trip to the Villa and it just gets better every time.
The dirt roads have big potholes, but it’s fine to get there. You just have to drive slowly.
The hosts Eliana and Felix were wonderful, and the whole place was absolutely gorgeous. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty (no need to worry about lunch). You're free to walk about the property and there's a cool trail with sculpture installations (and donkeys!). Last but not least, the Vena Cava winery is a great hangout with excellent food from Troika.
The fit and finish of the room was not exactly up to the standard of a 5 star accommodation, but that's just part of the rustic charm ;)
I loved the location, and quiet environment. The fact that we had the whole house to ourselves in the evening . The breakfast and staff were great .
The roads leading to home were not paved .
It felt like home, if we owned a home on a hill in the middle of wine country. Very relaxing, comfortable and perfect location.
Housekeeping lacked attention to detail and unable to use the pool at night once we were the only guests remaining
Breakfast was exceptional! The grounds were beautiful, great pool, and amazingly helpful staff. Roads to get to the villa are dirt, so a car with a little clearance is optimal. In fact, that goes for many of the roads in the area. Pillows we're comfortable and the mattresses were fantastic.
Nothing, loved it all. The only thing I would change is adding some hours of operation to the nearby food truck, Troika. The food was so good but they closed at 6pm.
The grounds were amazing and the winery vena cava and food truck Troika were amazing
Nothing
A stay that feels like you're a guest at a best friend's vacation home. Amazing breakfast every morning, comfortable rooms, charming setting in close proximity to fabulous winery.
We recently visited Valle to attend a wedding. Breathtaking view, amazing food. Very fresh and organic. Fernanda provided phenomenal customer service. Highly recommended renting a car. Ground transportation was previously arranged with Felix from San Diego’s airport to Valle. He sent driver to TJ airport, when we called he just told us to cross the border. This was something new to us, since we’re from the East Coast. After an Uber and taxi we were finally able to cross. He also told us Uber drivers didn’t go up to the hotel, because of the location and suggested we used his drivers. The fees were outrageous a Trip to La Cocina De Dona Estela was $180 USD. A 20 minute drive was $90 USD. The 2 times I requested an Uber we got lucky and were only charged a reasonable fee. Even the Uber drivers thought the amount they were quoting us was ridiculous. We felt like prisoners without a vehicle. Learned our lesson and will definitely rent a car next time.
Everything
Felt like home
The breakfast was delicious and the service was always excellent. There is a dog on the premise, "Guapo" who will escort you in and out to the guarded entrance. It is very private and only 6 rooms which makes you feel as if you are the only ones there, which was the case on our last day there. The property is beautiful. The rooms only lock from inside. There is a feeling of trust and home.
It was frustrating driving through all the potholes and the roads were not very well marked. The rooms are not well lit and they are a bit cold although there was a plug in heater.
Awesome stay, very clean and amazing staff, thank you for everything :)
Absolutely gorgeous, peaceful environment. Well appointed and well kept. Lots of art and animals.
The bumpy roads-though not much one can do about those
The breakfast was great. We had a five-course dinner the evening of our stay that was incredibly wonderful, second only to one other dinner I've ever had which was at Le Vieux Logis in France.
Nothing
We had such a charming and restful getaway to Villa de Valle and our hosts could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. We were making a quick trip and so decided just to enjoy the Valle from the grounds of the hotel. It was such a pleasure. We look forward to returning for another restful stay. Felix and Fernanda are the best.
We booked two massages and while my travel partner had a fantastic massage, mine was not done by an experienced therapist so felt like a bit of a waste of time and money.
It is one of the most spectacular spots I have ever stayed. So Special and so gorgeous
Incredibly special place. Super friendly staff, great wine, epic mountain views. We will be back!
Wonderful stay. We felt like we were in our own home. Nice to enjoy the fireplace with a glass of wine and meet other guests.
Beautiful villa in the middle of the Valle! We will be back.
This place is phenomenal. Very clean, well-appointed, centrally located and over-the-top in terms of service and amenities. The views are wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and the artwork is gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back!
Ojala me hagan caso. Definitivamente pienso regresar.
Buen lugar
it was a pleasure to spend our night at the hotel. looking forward for another weekend
Everything about our stay was perfect! The property was gorgeous, peaceful/quiet, lovely/helpful staff, delicious breakfast included every day, as well as tea and treats in the afternoon. Couldn't speak more highly of this very special property :)
We had an excellent stay here. Great service. Nice touches. I would definitely recommend and come back.
Great and relaxing stay with a delightful free breakfast
The price for each night is worth the stay. Beautiful location that is a bit off the grid through dirt roads to arrive, but when you get there you are greeted by a security guard who checks you in. Then you arrive to this beautiful Villa with the famous restaurant Corazon De Tierra next to it. The amenities are wonderful. The check-in is followed with a short tour of the grounds. A bar with which you help yourself near the library/living room space downstairs shared with other folks staying in is followed by an honor system. Our rooms were great. The free breakfast was AMAZING. The only critical thing I have of this place was that at night there seemed to be some noise like a car engine or kitchen stove being turned on for a few seconds. Whatever it was, you were able to hear it from the 2nd floor. Not sure if that happens each night, but it happened the first night I stayed. Other than that, such a beautiful and peaceful stay!
