101 Adrianou Luxury Urban Stay

The room and the area were great. There was a bit of a musty smell in the room but otherwise it was a great stay.

Very handy, in the middle of pedestrian only shopping district.

The front desk staff (Dimitri, as I remember) was by far the best part of our stay. He was friendly and very helpful. The aparthotel is located in a walkable part of Athens, close to shopping and restaurants. We were only there for a short stay and appreciated that the walk to the Acropolis museum was a short 7 minutes. There were many negatives to the room, however. It wasn’t very clean, there were no outlets in the bathroom, and there was also no privacy there. The worst experience regarding our room was the lack of hot water on our last night and morning. We had spent a long day at the Acropolis and were ready for a nice hot shower when we returned to no hot water. We took cold showers and expected to have hot water the following morning, and again, found none. This hotel is listed as a luxury hotel but in no way does it meet this description. It is a perfectly functional hotel in a good location that is lacking in cleanliness, privacy, organization and sometimes hot water. I wish I would’ve dug a bit deeper in the reviews before booking.

Excellent location.

Best thing-the location. On a pedestrian only street, with about 20 very good restaurants nearby. Great communication with owners on e-mails. Building needs some work-plus rooms are looking shabby. The small square safe was loose and not attached to anything! Robes were old and frayed. One little bath towel each. The toilet has a glass see-through sliding door on it, and the bathroom does not have any doors on it! Intimate, cozy and friendly bathroom experience!!

Wondering staff, very kind and helpful. Comfortable bed, location was perfect, would definitely stay again. Only issue is stairs and I have bad knees, but I would still stay again. Lovely.

Location Location Location is what sold me on this stay. Room was very spacious but not set up for 4 people as booked. Shower and toilet grout areas could do with a good clean but other than that is was a good stay.

Great room, very clean, lots of shopping (almost too much), restaurants, easy access to acropolis as well as other areas of interest. Limited reception desk times.

perfect location, beautiful spacious room

Hotel was in a great spot . Friendly service, great location

The only negative was that we had no hot water at all .. by the time we figured it out there was no one at reception ; check in person was exceptional ; cabs cannot take you directly in front of building during day so you have to walk with your suitcases on a narrow busy street

Amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great tips. The hotel is super central—walking distance to everything—which made exploring so easy. Perfect mix of comfort, service, and location. Highly recommend!

This hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, the rooms were spacious and spotless, and the location was perfect. I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come back to Athens. Honestly, I almost don’t want to share this review because I don’t want it to get harder to book in the future, lol.

Great location. Liked the garden view.

Great location!

Excellent location, cleanliness, room size, and the view. Easy keyless entry. Excellent communication. While the room had a nice looking modern design, from convenience standpoint it wasn’t best. The was no door on the cabin shower, just a curtain. The sliding door of the bathroom was hard to move. There was no shelves or hooks in the washing area next to shower to put toiletries and hang wet towels. Main bed mattress was too soft and uncomfortable.

Perfect location to explore Athens. Right in the middle of everything.

We loved our spacious room. The hotel was very convenient in the bustling Plaka neighborhood but very quiet. We were a party of three and all of our beds were comfortable.

Nice room with garden view, staff were helpful 👍

Perfect location and nice comfortable room.

The hotel is on a great neighbourhood friendly shopping street and a vibrant area with lots of dining options around. Love the spacious and beautiful room we booked with contemporary interior design and expansive windows. The hotel is also very close to all the main attractions, like Parthenon and Acropolis Museum, all within a 15-minute walk. The only comment is probably the lack of an elevator for my heavy luggages. However, the staff was very willing to move our luggages in and out of our room for us. We enjoyed our 1-week stay very very much and would highly recommend the 101 Adrianou to anyone.

The staff was very helpful and responsive. The hotel was very spacious, modern and clean. It is also centrally located. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Extremely friendly staff, and very responsive. We feel very much welcomed when arrived at the property. The property is clean and fancy, special for 2 adults with 2 kids. Highly recommended. The last day, we locked our passports in the safe and not able to reopen it. The manager came in the morning very early to open the safe for us. Very much appreciated.

Good all around

Staff was welcoming. Very clean and large rooms. Location was impeccable. A must redo

Very satisfied with the whole experience of this hotel that is in a busy pedestrian zone but the rooms are very clean and comfortable and most importantly very quiet. We were greeted by the gentleman in the front desk who was very polite and courteous that helped us with our luggage, and informed us about everything.

Dimitris was a fantastic host! He helped us with our luggage and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was huge and nicely furnished. The area around the hotel is lovely, with many shopping and dining options.

Dimitrious at the front desk was great. He let us check in 2 hours early and friendly. The hotel is in the Plaka section. It is very busy because of all the shops and restaurants, but quite safe. It is only about 7 minutes from the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The rooms were cleaned very well every day. All the rooms are upstairs, so you have to take steps. I was very happy with the room. It was 4 of us and we all had plenty of room to walk around freely, even with the beds. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Large room and good use of space. We'd come back to this hotel next time in Athens.

Hello, I appreciate the stay in the hotel. However, the showers were really moldy and so was the curtains the bed frame didn’t look clean either. We would’ve appreciated if it was cleaner.

Location was unbeatable. Our first time in Athens and on Day 1 I could tell that this was the perfect location to explore Athens on foot. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Room was spacious and comfortable for my family of 4. I feel the lighting was low in the room to give it an elegant look, but not a big deal. Would highly recommend it and stay here next time again.

Everything was wonderful except for the air conditioning. The air conditioning was weak and we couldn't get the room cool enough.

Great central location, extra room comfortable & secure.

Great stay, staff were fab, couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend

Great service, perfect location and the urban vibe was way better than expected and an amazing room. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is it was near impossible to find the door. We passed it multiple times, dragging suitcases, on main strip Plaka. When we think we finally found it you had to ring the doorbell and hope there was someone at the desk to open the door for you otherwise you were stuck. Kind of stressful. Better directions on where/how to get there initially would be helpful.

Demetrius, who checked us in, was so friendly and helpful. Excellent place!

The location is great. Many restaurants, shops, and archeological sites within a few minutes walking. The rooms are spacious but missing some basics like ice,

The room was amazing!! Very spacious!! Large bottle water in fridge. Bed was low to ground but comfortable. No lift/elevator but a gentleman carried luggage up for us. Upon leaving, very early, we had to carry them down.

Demetris was absolutely amazing and helpful and made our experience in Athens a breeze and unforgettable. The room was very clean and spacious. We would 100% recommend and come back. It’s right on the street with all the shops so it was perfect and safe

Just great !!!!

Hotel staff was excellent providing an adapter, helping with luggage (no elevator) and transportation. Located by a multitude of shops and restaurants. The Acropolis is about a 10 minute walk.

Great location

A great stay and would revisit.

I love this location!’ And it was great for our family of four (two younger children) it’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and has good space

Location was fantastic and the rooms were nice! The staff was very helpful too.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with lovely staff and great accommodations. Luggage storage and transportation options were both key.

The hosts were delightful and the location was right in the heart of the action

We stayed at this hotel for just a few hours during a long layover in Athens before our 3 a.m. flight. The hotel itself was perfectly adequate for our needs—clean, spacious, and centrally located. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful, especially with our luggage, and check-in was smooth and efficient. However, I feel it’s important to share a serious concern regarding the transportation service affiliated with the hotel. I booked a transfer from the airport through the taxi service recommended by the hotel, both on their website and during the check-in process. The driver arrived on time, but once we were en route, I noticed a strong smell of alcohol. I was seated next to the driver and could clearly tell he had been drinking. At that point, we were already on the highway, and I felt trapped and deeply uncomfortable. While the hotel stay itself was fine, this experience made me feel unsafe, and I strongly urge the hotel to reevaluate their partnership with this transfer service to ensure guest safety. I would not recommend using the affiliated transportation option.

The staff were wonderful, and the place was beautiful. Right in the center of a lively shopping street with lots of food options, and super close to all of the must-see sights. They have a cleaning service who comes daily to reset linens and do light cleaning, however they never cleaned or replaced the glasses/cups we used and once replaced our towels with dirty ones, which was a little bit of a disappointment. We would still absolutely stay here again, though!

Absolutely amazing service!

The hotel is beautiful and has a very nice location. The staff is beyond kind and accommodating. The made our trip to Milos spectacular!

Location, location, location. This place is close to everything. Because it is in the Adrianou, you will hear people outside, but not until later. The place looks exactly as in the pictures. It is big and comfortable. It is a good place for a couple or a family.

Bel hôtel . Très bien Situé et très propre.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay and loved our room overlooking the Acropolis. Demetris arranged a transfer from the airport for us which was great, thanks to Mike for picking us up at the airport and all of the Recommendations he gave to us. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for everything.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful in assisting us with booking transport, restaurant recommendations and helping us get our bags up and down the walk up. Very modern large rooms. Close to the acropolis. The only thing to be aware of with this property is it’s on a pedestrian only mall and if you’re dropped off during business hours, you may have to walk all your package half a block to the hotel.

love the location and the gigantic size of the room. it is right in the middle of everything, shopping, dining, walking and etc.

The room was huge. The bed was super comfy. I was worried about no elevator but the guy brought all our luggage up and down.. and he was super nice. The location was awesome! The street in front was street traffic only so taxi can't get you there but it isn't far. Dining options everywhere.

If you like a place where you can walk to shops and great restaurants, then this is a place for you. Although there is no elevator/lift the staff is excellent in assisting you with your luggages. They are very friendly and accommodating. This is not a typical hotel, it is more like a bed & breakfast place but there is no breakfast here. We enjoyed our stay due to the fact that we do not need to get a taxi to go to places.

Location was outstanding, right in the middle of the desirable Plaka area.

The hotel is in the heart of Plaka. We could walk to all of the best sites in Athens. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help.

To start off the property is in an excellent location, right on the main street in the Plaka area! Super central to all the touristy spots.. mostly within a 10-15 min radius. The accommodations were clean, modern and super comfortable. The management team was excellent. We had a minor problem with AC in our room and they immediately moved us to a different room and handled the situation with zero effort on our part. They were amazing with communicating with us before our trip and arranging transfers to and from airport. Overall great property and staff!

The people that worked reception vent over backwards to help us. Ran down the stairs to assist us with our luggage. Just fantastic.

Very nice boutique hotel right in the middle of Plaka. It is a very nice location as you can walk to many tourist spots in Athens. There are many nice restaurants nearby and also many shops nearby. It is also a safe neighborhood. The room has nice size and you can easily stay up to 4 persons without any problems. We also booked a room with the view of the Acropolis, so you can actually see Acropolis right from your windows. There is no elevator in this hotel. However, the hotel receptionist was really helpful in bringing our luggage up to our room. We especially want to thanks Demetris who was very helpful and friendly. In conclusion, we are very happy with our stay in this hotel and will definitely recommend it to others!

This place is fabulous! Our room was huge, bright, clean, and cozy. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. Definitely recommend!

Very good service. Very nice room. Great location and great view of the acropolis.

Beautiful room

Great property and great location. Keep in mind drivers for pickup or drop off will meet you down the block. They cant access the road where this property is located.

Friendly & helpful staff. Enjoyed my stay.

We were a group of 8 women meeting up together in Athens. The hotel helped us organize transfers from the airport on arrival and to the port on our departure. The hotel staff were just amazing and so very helpful. Service ++. The room had a view of the Acropolis and was right in the heart of the Plaka with many shops and restaurants within steps from the hotel. Thank you, thank you!

For those not requiring in-house services. Great apartment-style hotel, great place for those wanting to get out to explore the city. Small fridge to keep snacks/drinks in; with kettle to make tea/coffee. Owners/staff very friendly & helpful.

Loved everything about our recent stay! From pre-booking questions being answered promptly to check in day with Demetrius. Loved the location! Demetrius assisted us with airport transportation that was seamless & made our lives so much easier, he also helped with suggestions on places to go. Looked at a lot of places and so thankful that we stayed here.

Great place to stay close to everything.

Great location, right in the middle of one of the busy shopping streets. View from the room was great. Huge spacious room, which was nicely laid out and designed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay. This is a real gem.

We stayed at three different places in Athens, coming back to Athens three different times during our trip. This location was the most noisy one, with groups of people seeming to meet right underneath our window at 8 am every morning until they dispersed. Then it would go back to the regular lull. I loved the location and being amongst the shops in plaka. Our room was very spacious and modern with a comfortable king bed and thoughtful modem conveniences. We had a great view of the acropolis. There was a certain scent that they used to keep the room and building smelling fresh but it rubbed me the wrong way and took me a while to get over it every time we came back. Paid parking was right around the corner. There was a staircase upon entering with a stair lift which was not working. It would have been helpful with the many luggages we brought with us. Overall, cool place with cool central location. So much to do around there.

This property is as good as it gets when it comes to location. Directly in Plaka, it is a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, Temple of Olympian Zeus, etc. The staff were very friendly. We arrived later and the check-in counter was closed (hours are 8am to 4pm), but they had left us clear instructions as to how to access the property. They arranged our transportation from the Athens airport (there was a 70$ cost for this, but it was really worth it). The room was very clean, slightly loud at night, but to be expected in this central location. Overall, great stay. Highly recommend.

The Best Staff in all Athens

Huge suites, very comfortable, great service, in the Center of all attractions, shopping and restaurants.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was that it was very noisy when we stayed there - otherwise, the room was huge, the bed super comfortable and the location very convenient. Staff was super kind and helpful as well.

Rooms are beautiful but it is not luxury by any means. Luxury means outstanding customer experience and no scarcity of things, such as only two tea bags, for example. And you cannot get more because they have limited hours being at the reception. Another example is toilet paper. When I noticed that there was no toilet paper when we arrived, I had to text Dimitrious and go to the lobby to grab it myself. He apologized about this. The other person (Nikos?) told me that it is not a big deal to grab a toilet paper by myself. 😁 Such mentality is not luxury. The only luxury is the price you pay. Before staying at the property I asked if I could leave my luggage with them for a couple of days (I book hotels only if they offer such options and if it is complimentary). They told me “yes, I could leave my luggage”. When I check out, they want to charge me €10 for each bag! I refuse to pay saying that they didn’t tell me ahead of time that I had to pay and neither their website said anything about that extra charge. Nikos became very aggressive and started raising his voice on me telling me that they had signs in the room that luggage was extra. I have been in hundreds of hotels worldwide but never saw anyone raising a voice at a customer and misleading him that the luggage is free and then wanting money for it. Though the location is great and the room is nice, I won’t be staying in this property again, not even for free.

The view from our room (B2) was amazing. We could see across hill above the city. Gorgeous. Perfect location for exploring the city. The driving service had to drop us at the end of the street because the hotel is on a section that is not drivable. But it was not a far walk to the hotel. The bedding and towels smelled wonderful and so clean. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Pillows a bit on the hard side for our tastes. We used a laundry service that was only about .3 miles from the hotel to do our laundry. I believe it cost 17 euros for 8lbs. of laundry and they had it back to us by end of day. Worth it to save us time. Dimitris at the front desk is an awesome person. Fun to talk to and had many great suggestions for us. He also helped us to get an additional night’s stay when our flight was cancelled due to the strike. The only con of the place for me was a bit of an odor when we would come back each day. I believe it was maybe the drain in the bathroom? But we would just open the doors to the little balcony and it would air out quickly. Overall, great staff and terrific location!

We had a great time here - super clean and amazing room. Great communication with staff. The location is amazing - right in the middle of an upbeat part of Athens and the crazy part is it could be really loud outside but inside it’ll be quiet. It has to be SUPER LOUD for you to hear anything in the room.

.

Perfect location! Very big room!

Location

Great customer service by employees. Felt like being at home. Truly a great stay.

The room was fabulous! Very spacious and I love that you could open the doors and look out to the street below. The staff are absolutely amazing. So friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay there.

The location is almost perfect, quiet, easy walking to shopping and all yhe best sites.

Great location, it is located in the middle of shops and restaurants. That is why we love it - Having a cup of coffee in the morning and watching tourist from al over the world from the patio.

Fantastic property with a great view and fantastic location

Location is pretty good. Walk up. Tons of places to see, supermarket close, shopping, restaurants even opera. Walk down, 5 to 15 min., Colluseum, Pantheon and just about everything. Unit was smallish, but with kitchenette with place to sit and eat for 2 persons. Reception for phone bad. You have to stand by window for reception. Might be typical for old blds in Rome. Checking in was a problem. No one at propery. No human contact. Needed toilet paper. Took some effort to finally have some delivered. Better to buy your own. Cheap and 10 times softer. Location was pretty convenient. Clean with a little old charm neighborhood.

We loved how the hotel was in the center of shopping. Our rooms were large and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely come here again, the staff were so friendly and accommodating; everything was beautiful here. I would recommend it 10/10 to anyone, and that they are missing out if they don’t stay here.

Good location, ok hotel

This is a great hotel for staying in Athens. The rooms are big and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - central but not too busy. The only negative was the noise from the street/school in the morning, maybe the garden view rooms would be better. Would stay here again.

Fab room with free upgrade

Great location and friendly staff. Easy to check in and out. Very spacious.

The apartment was surprisingly large especially given the location, right in the heart of everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly service, large room. It’s on the second floor so you need to be able to manage the stairs - we were helped up with our (many) suitcases. In a great location.

Absolutely wonderful. First time in Athens and location of this facility was perfect. Safe and in the center of tourist activity.

The location is fantastic as was the service. Marianna helped us with several things including settting up a transfer to the cruise port. The gentleman who helped us with our luggage at check out was wonderful as well.

Great location, clean, friendly staff
