Jim the owner made us very welcome, I accidentally booked a twin room and he happily changed it to a double, then rang and booked dinner in local village for us He also cooks a great breakfast and the place is quiet and very very clean.

My husband and I spent five nights at Kilcreeny Lodge and it was perfect in every way. The location was ideal for our needs and the house itself is stunning inside. From our room we had a perfectly beautiful view of the Mourne Mountains. The room was spotless and of ample size with an en-suite including shower. Plenty of hot water any time it was needed. There are tea and coffee facilities supplied. There are ample breakfast choices including cereal, fruit juice, yogurt, fruits, toast. My husband had the full Irish cooked breakfast and said it was outstanding. I had the most amazing porridge. Just like my grandma used to make. Jim the host is an absolute star, a complete gentleman. His cooking skills for breakfast are first class. He was very welcoming when we arrived and we found him to be extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning to stay here and we both highly recommend Kilcreeny Lodge with Jim and the team.
Absolutely nothing, we had no complaints whatsoever. It was an amazing stay, with great food, craic and friendships made.
Jim was a great host very helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. i arrived by motorbike and he had a secure place for me to park it. Would stay again.
Kilcreeny Lodge did not exceed my expectations as I’ve been before & know it’s top quality. I visit NI often and just need a comfortable bed, I struggle to justify £100 + per night for this. In my experience Kilcreeny Lodge is the best accommodation in NI. You can likely find similar but at a much higher rate. You do need your own transport, car/bicycle, as taxi to Lisburn transport hub is £16 and I didn’t see any buses near. Lovely large house in beautiful quiet surroundings, the central sweeping staircase on entry is a marvel. Lots of quiet comfortable lounge space if you want to relax at home, I was out and about travelling/ visiting, you’re well placed to explore the 6 counties, I focused on Down, fabulous country road (sometimes narrow) driving. Jim is a charming host, puts you at your ease and on hand if wanted for any accommodation. I thought I may need to do some clothes washing, but didn’t, Jim happy to facilitate. I would pay the £ rate without breakfast, yet breakfast is included and as impressive as it is delicious. Fried breakfast, vegetarian option, that I would pay £20 for ordinarily. Also fruit and cereal. Nice shower, I had shared bathroom & didn’t see anyone else use it. Comfortable bed.
The host, Jim was abrupt and unwelcoming. i made them aware of when i’d arrive at the earliest, 4pm, but didn’t arrive until 5.30. Room not ready, made to wait almost 30 minutes for the tiny room to be ‘made ready’. When it was and i was shown it, i was then told my motorcycle was taking up “too much space, it needs to be moved to make space for cars and put around back, out of sight!” He obviously has a dislike for motorcyclists, and has enough parking for easily 50 cars!! See attached photo, red mark is where my motorcycle was parked, the tiny amount of space taken, and the massive amount of space for dozens of cars if needed. This was the morning i left, and these were ALL of the other guests cars. At breakfast i was asked what time i wanted it, i requested 8am because i was needing to be on time for a ferry, i arrive at 8…”you’ll have to wait” which took another 15-20 minutes. i am the only one in the dining room, i’m sitting at a table for two, i am a solo traveler, there was maybe four tables set for two, and a lady comes in and tells me “you’re NOT ALLOWED to sit there” and makes me move for zero reason. Not once was there a hello, please, thank you or apology, called pal, and fella even though they had my name, very disappointing…but they did make a point of saying “make sure you give us a good review!” but even forgot PLEASE when he said that.
Amazing and friendly
Nice clean room Location was quiet and peaceful. Jim, the host, was great and really accommodating.
Nothing
Host accogliente e sempre presente.
Clean warm and a great host , he even made us breakfast earlier as we were away racing early
Nothing to be honest
A peaceful, and comfortable place to rest after exploring the east of Ireland. Belfast is very close. The host is just perfect, he thoughtfully addresses even the smallest needs of visitors. Don't skip breakfast there, the ingredients are of such quality, that it sustains for hours.
I dont have phone number to call then but I really appreciate every care they showed during my one night stay at their Lodge
Beautiful setting and location, everything was spotlessly clean and breakfast was lovely. Will definitely be back
Accoglienza e disponibilità
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent facilities, such as tea and coffee in the evening available. Very quiet and comfortable, and reasonable price. This is the third time I've stayed at Kilcreeny Lodge, and I intend to book again next year.
Nothing at all.
Nice large house, handy if you have a car and want to stay in the Lisburn area. Reasonable price, clean and lovely views of the greenery. Jim was friendly and made a lovely breakfast.
Brilliant Host, excellent breakfast, excellant view. I will definetly stay here again in the future.
Host was very pleasant and helpful
Amazing place to stay. We were only there for 1 night but everything was perfect. Jim was a very pleasant host and looked a lovely breakfast the next morning. Also free Tea and Coffee all day just help yourself could not fault this place one bit. When you go in the front door your looking at a beautiful staircase and chandeliers it was absolutely lovely. We will definitely be staying again Thanks for a lovely stay

Nothing all good i
Friendly, comfortable, beautiful location, great breakfast
Loved the homeliness of the place. Jim took great care of my sister and I, and even went to the trouble of booking us a taxi for our event later that day. He went above and beyond, and to top it off, they make a mean breakfast!
Brilliant house, location and host. Very thoughtful and helpfull. Really enjoyed it.
The owner was very kind enough to welcome the guests and even prepare the breakfast himself.

Great service! Very welcoming! Child friendly. Rural location.
VG breakfast. Lovely Location and hospitality. Super house.
The bedroom door rattled when it was windy. Had to put chair against it as it sounded like someone was knocking at the door. Needs checking.

Fabulous, everything we could have wished for. Eye catching views, relaxing comfortable rooms and a quality breakfast. Jim was the MOST perfect host. Thank you.
That we couldn’t stay longer.
Jim couldn't be more helpful and genuine. Lovely quiet location with views of Lough Neagh.

Beautiful house and accommodation stunning views and a very friendly host, thank you jim for a wonderful stay.
Loved everything.
My stay at Kilcreeny Lodge was really great. The room was very cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of parking space around the property. The owner was very kind and helpful. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The WiFi was also very good and fast.
Location, price, flexibility, attitude, breakfast
Check in time by 21:00, I felt guilty arriving at 22:00 as the ferry was delayed by an hour ;(
Beautiful clean house , quiet area with great views
Beautiful scenery, lovely and clean with an obliging host. Stunning views, great part of Northern Ireland and not far from the airport and Belfast.
Nothing.
I had a wonderful stay at Kilcreeny Lodge. The place is absolutely magnificent – the photos really don’t do it justice. The property is set in a beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views, which made the stay even more special. Jim, the host, was fantastic – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. He really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The amenities were great, the whole place was warm, comfortable, and spotless. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and enjoying it with the beautiful view was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. I would recommend having a car to get around as the location is a bit more rural, but that also adds to its charm. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend it.
Jim was very welcoming and friendly
Very clean..and breakfast was first class
Great breakfast, hand made by our host who catered for all our needs.
Everything was great
Fantastic and amazing location and owner.
Amazing location, fantastic hospitality, wonderful to chat to Jim the owner, looking forward to staying again. Breakfast was super.
Beautiful quality house
Alles 👍
Das Perfekte Frühstück sowie das schnelle Internet.
Breakfast...the night before I told Jim just cereals but he forgot and brought me a delicous looking plateful of full English, but I said thanks but no thanks...thinking back, perhaps I should have treated myself! The Lodge is a lovely big place, spotlessly clean and I will, if I am that way again, definitely be booking again. 10/10.
If Storm Chandra had chosen a different route I would have been able to appreciate the views,it was a bit wet'n'windy!!
Stayed here while waiting on some where to live, I really enjoyed my time here, the owner is a very nice gentleman. My time here, he made time to talk to me. Plus made a lovely clean filling breakfast. This is a well looked after and very modern property. Lovely veiws and comfy rooms,TVs in your rooms or big sitting room if you want to spend time in the property. Free tea/coffe ect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat & would highly recommend for tourist to stay as ten mints from the loughs airports, crumlin Glen, gallysgate and much more, stunning part of the country. Thanks for having me.
Nothing to be honest
Nice quiet countryside location. Very good breakfast. Lovely staff. Excellent single room. I stayed at Kilcreeny Lodge last year too, and I hope to do so next year too.
Nothing. All was good.
A wonderful place with amazing hosts. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of! Highest recommendations! Everything was very clean and tidy, and the food was absolutely delicious🤍
The breakfasts were great! Jim even got up early to make us sandwiches when we left very early in the morning.
Great stay, loved the location, very nice owner, excellent home cooked breakfast. A place to be back. Liked the little guest kitchen facilities - handy for families with kids
My youngest son has used The Kilcreeny Lodge twice now and my eldest son is booked in for a trip in October, I feel this speaks for itself. A lovely friendly place to stay and feel relaxed.
The breakfast was filling and delicious. I We liked the tranquil location in a farming district. Our host Jim was extremely helpful with everything. The house is only 20 years old but purposely built in an older style.

It’s a 15 mins drive from Balmoral show. Very easy to get to. Jim is a very welcoming host and cooks a mighty breakfast. Everything was excellent. I will be back.
There is nothing not to like. It ticks all the boxes.
It was clean bright and modern, en-suite with a single room. It was in an excellent location to get quickly to the airport.
Would have been nice for coffee in the room as the kitchen was not in near distance and as I was out early would have been nice to have a coffee getting ready to depart.
Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, kind and accommodating staff
Nice and clean rooms. The breakfast was also great.
I have stayed at Kilcreeny Lodge before and I am delighted to be back here again for a short break. Jim as always is a gentleman and the facilities are superb, it's a great location and a beautiful home. 10 out of 10 for everything.
From the welcome, to the stay, the room and the service - all was absolutely outstanding.
Beautiful views, great host, comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast.
Room and bathroom were immaculately clean, the entire lodge was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Jim was such a lovely host and couldn't do enough for me. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice available. I only stayed for one night but would highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
Would have liked to have tea-making facilities in the room but it's only a very minor gripe as there was self service facilities downstairs so I was able to bring tea up to my room.
Friendly staff and great location not too far from main road access

House is very comfortable throughout, host very welcoming, great breakfast and everything was spotless.

This B&B is in a beautiful location. It is rural, but there are stunning views in every direction. It's in a perfect location for being close to the airport (20mins drive by car), as well as access to the M1 and getting around areas of Northern Ireland. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating, without being smothering. The rooms are immaculately clean, with fresh linen, wifi access, and extra heaters if needed. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in, and the hosts were great at accommodating an early check in and very early check out. I would highly recommend this B&B and in fact will search it out every time I'm travelling here, whether for work or personal travel.
Nothing.
Very comfortable, friendly & location suited to needs.
Nothing
Location is off the beaten track somewhat, but very quiet. Very handy area beside kitchen to bring back food, it saves the smell of food in your room. Fine breakfast, big coffee press to myself to start the day. Very clean, neat and tidy. Coffee or tea on offer as soon as I arrived.
SIngle bed was a bit lumpy, but that could be just first night in a different bed.
Warm welcome and very clean room
