We had a great stay at Ella Nine Arch Holiday Resort. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thanks to Saliya, the owner, who was incredibly kind and upgraded our rooms, which made the experience even better. The location is also very convenient — only around 10 minutes from Ella main city — so it was easy to explore while still enjoying a peaceful stay. Overall, this place offers excellent value for money, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ella.

Personnel adorable et au petit soin pour nous. La chambre était toute neuve avec un jacuzzi. Le propriétaire est un homme charmant qui a su nous donner de bons conseils

La habitación olía mal, eran las sábanas. Les dijimos que al final solo nos queríamos quedar una noche y estuvieron súper insistentes queriendo hacer que nos quedáramos dos noches. Nos hablaban por whatsap, nos llamaban a la habitación, llamaban a la puerta, al final fue un poco pesado. Luego cuando fuimos a pagar y saqué cuentas más tarde y nos habían cobrado la estancia como si fueran dos días, porque deberíamos haber pagado 8000rp (el precio que pone por noche en booking) y pagamos 15000rp. Encima nos hicieron la división como si fuera entre dos y nos pusieron más cantidad de la que era, para que acabáramos pagando la estancia de dos días. Sin duda yo no lo recomiendo.

The room was clean. The staff was really nice. They provided us with 24 hours laundry service, which was a big bonus for us as we were travelling for 3 weeks and this was not always offered by other hotels we stayed at. The location was ideal for us as we wanted to have it close to the Nine Arc Bridge.

I'm not sure why but most of the hotels we stayed had the exact same problem.. the washroom had some smell.. it was clean but had a strong smell.. the kids had a hard time adjusting to that.

Owners wife is v helpful.. Food was good .. Overall it was a pleasant stay

A great place to stay with family! Our group of 13 stayed here very comfortably. The person who looked after the property was incredibly helpful and was always available whenever we needed anything. Highly recommended!

From the start, the hotel was in contact with me. They were constantly checking on my arrival. The whole stay was very cosy, clean and its near to most of the tourist spot. The food was amazing. The hospitality was fabulous too.

מקום נעים, ארוחת בוקר מושקעת, כל יום טעמנו מאכלים מקומיים חדשים, ואפילו הכניסו אותנו למטבח ללמוד להכין אוכל. הבעלים עשה מעל ומעבר בשבילנו ואפילו בירר, הצליח להשיג כרטיסים לרכבת לנוארה אליה ונסע במיוחד לתחנה כדי להביא אותם.

טיפה מרוחק ממרכז העיר, אבל לא בעייתי עם טוקטוק.

Room was clean Staff was incredibly nice! They helped us with everything we needed We didn't know how to turn on the hot water so they sent someone in and within 2 minutes got it to work Gave us an extra towel when we asked

Family run guesthouse. Great folks. My friend wasn't feeling well and had purchased the wrong medicine at the local pharmacy. The proprietor drove me back into town to receive the proper medicine. This was unexpected and very kind.

Price for Accommodation is Affordable or can say cheapest compared to other hotels and also room was clean and comfortable.Tasty foods with very reasonable prices, And on top of that, I really like the host family, they were really friendly and accommodating us with everything we need and also helped us to find a 3 wheeler for our trip with a fine pricing, without any bargaining with the driver by ourselves.

It’s little bit far from the main city and tourist attractions but no worries, can go to those places in 3 wheelers within a few minutes which will be available nearby easily.

Amazing resort in Ella. 😍❤️everything was excellent. meals were superb and the place was very near to all the attraction places.owner and his family (uncle and aunty😍) was very kind and they provided everything we need. We had a great time at Ella Nine Arch Holiday Resort. The place is located outside the city, in a very peaceful area with a 2km distance to Nine Arch Bridge. The breakfast was delicious and very rich. Mr. Saliya and his family made us feel very welcome and they helped us a lot during our stay. They organize tuktuk tours for a very reasonable price. Mr. Saliya is a great host and very friendly towards us and always smiling and trying to help.

Very nice and comfortable rooms. The 1st floor 3 rooms are perfect fot 3 couples. The staff are very friendly and the man who in charge for booking is very nice and his communication through phone was very helpful for us.

The foods are little expensive. But the place is awesome ❤️.

This property is a little outside of the main Ella ‘rush’, so it’s perfectly suited for someone doing a road trip. I loved the position, the property, the room, the food (thank you Grandma) and most of all the family. Such a warm welcome and really nothing was too much trouble.

Set just outside Ella town. Walkable if you want, 8 minutes Tuk Tuk. Staff very helpful and showed us the route to the 9 arch Bridge 45 min walk

Ordered for dinner, but our expectation was not fulfilled. Hot water system is not good Drinking water bottles should serve.

The location is conveniently located and was easy to find. The staff are very friendly. The rooms were great value. The payment method did not require any credit card information when booking was very helpful.

The bathroom door lock in our room did not function properly. This was just a mild inconvenience. Everything else was in good condition

Friendly staff and good location

No hot water in one room

I was about to stay in Ella for 2 nights but this hotel has unfortunately made me to change my mind and I left earlier. There were long periods without electricity (where I saw neighboring buildings has it). Which also meant no internet. There were also no water in the shower. I told that to the two older gentlemen who work in the reception and they did something so that the water started to flow (cold), but without the possibility to turn in off now. A complete disaster. Not a single thought about environment. It says the hotel is close to Nine Arch bridge (1,5km) which is not true. It’s about 5km to walk to that bridge from there. It’s far away from all the restaurants in Ella as well. Location, service and amenities are all dragging this place down.

Excellent hotel..owner was amazing and the staff there were excellent. Everyday we got excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and my tea was made as per my liking. The hotel is little further away from the main road but its not far. Highly recommend.
