Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Location was great. Easy walk to Trinity college, Stephen's park, and many pubs and restaurants. Nice to have a guest laundry on site (although only 1 washer and 1 dryer).
Female staff were quite unfriendly. Rooms are small and have little to no storage or hanging space. Although I had booked a 4 night stay, I was not given any leeway when we arrived early (to return a rental car). The additional fee was not substantial but it was annoying to have no accommodations offered.

Just blocks from St. Patrick's Cathedral and Christchurch and Dublinia and a short walk to Dublin Castle, the Temple Bar area and St. Stephen's Green and lots of shops and restaurants. The room itself had a large bed, a table and chairs and small kitchen area. The decor was bright and modern. The free washer and dryer in the basement worked well so that was a plus. Breakfast was an extra charge so we ate elsewhere or brought in groceries.
It was all good!

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The staff were exceptionally nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was quiet. Never heard any noise. Also very clean, modern and security conscious. A special thank you to the exceptional Ukrainian receptionist who went to great lengths to get us a taxi on time for our train as taxis weren’t eager to negotiate the area near Dublin Castle due to activities there related to Ireland’s presidency of the European Union— a temporary problem unrelated to Stay City Dublin Castle. She succeeded despite great odds. Quite a treasure for Stay City!
The room was a bit small, especially the bathroom.

Pillows were flat. No pressure in the toilet, it took up to 5 flushes to get get right of toilet paper. It was still warm, so we slept with the window open and there was quite a bit of road noise and people making noise when walking by. Quiet once you closed the window

The room got uncomfortably warm during the stay, and the lack of efficient cooling or temperature control made it difficult to keep the space fresh.

We wanted a room where we could prepare our own breakfasts in the morning. However the kitchen facilities were not up to scratch for that. No dishwashers tablets and an extremely small sink (which you could only just fit a cup in) meant it was not practical to do so. There was also no toaster or grill. The bed was also pushed up against the wall in the tiny studio, which made it very hard to get in and out of bed.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026The staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a lot of storage space for a small unit. Huge space under the bed for oversized luggage. We used the kitchenette for breakfast. Loved that there was washer and dryer. If we needed any extra towels or toilet paper, staff provided it for us.
The bed is against the wall. It would be great for one person! It’s just too small for 2 older people trying to get out of the bed in the middle of the night. It’s hard to move around in the unit. It’s smaller than a standard hotel room.

Il lavandino in cucina era minuscolo e inutilizzabile , nonostante avessi appositamente cercato una stanza con cucina. Non essendoci l’aria condizionata abbiamo dovuto dormire con la finestra aperta e per questo c’era macello per tutta la notte, tra il semaforo che scatta e le macchine e ambulanze che passavano sotto la stanza.
