The hotel is immaculate and beautifully decorated, as well as being in a great location. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

I was surprised that the hotel didn’t have a sauna or steam room given its advertised as having spa facilities.

The location is great. Abt 12mins walk to KLCC, and 6 mins walk to nearest train station. Staff are very friendly. Wifi works well. The breakfast is excellent!!!

Overall, everything was excellent at The RuMa Hotel, except for an unfortunate experience with the woman at the reception desk of ATAS Restaurant on August 26th, at around 9:20 PM. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel as though we had come too late, despite the restaurant closing at 10:00 PM. Her manner towards us was odd and disrespectful, and her approach felt more like that of a nightclub bouncer than someone welcoming guests into a restaurant of this standard. She made us feel as though she was looking down on us, which was particularly unpleasant. When she realized that we did not appreciate her behaviour, she told us that they had some remaining desserts that they could offer us. We found this response inappropriate and rather surprising given the situation. Offering remaining desserts did not address the issue, which was the way we had been received and spoken to in the first place. This experience contrasted sharply with every other interaction we had at the hotel. The rest of the staff, including the restaurant waiters, were extremely professional, welcoming, and attentive. Unfortunately, based on our experience that evening, we felt that the person at the restaurant reception did not demonstrate the level of professionalism or hospitality expected for such a guest-facing position. I sincerely hope the management will take this feedback into consideration. Apart from this incident, everything else was perfect. A special mention goes to Roza and her colleague for the wonderful 90-minute massage session. They were both excellent, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Excellent decoration and style through the hotel. Staff and breakfast were great. We got an upgrade with city views and to a bigger room which was very appreciated. Excellent pool and gym.

The room had strange lighting. It all worked on one circuit only so you couldn’t turn on off specific lights. The breakfast was really busy and they needed extra conference rooms to accomodate us.

I had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The facilities were excellent, and the free bar was definitely one of the highlights! The location was convenient, the hotel was clean, and I felt it offered great value for money. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay.

My first room did have a mouldy smell, but the staff handled the situation well and promptly moved me to another room, which was much better.

The RuMa is a beautiful, calm, and genuinely relaxing hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Every detail, from the elegant design to the outstanding service, feels carefully considered. I especially appreciated the unexpected room upgrade with a Petronas Towers view, the wonderful breakfast team, and the attentive pool staff. A special thank you to Limon and Khariomi for making my stay even more memorable. The post check-out facilities were immaculate and allowed me to enjoy my final day in comfort. Highly recommended and I would not hesitate to return.

Easily one of the best hotels in Kuala Lumpur! I was so impressed by how true Malaysian hospitality shone through, the staff are exceptionally warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive. The interior design is truly special and gives the hotel a unique character that sets it apart from the surrounding major chains. Location wise, it's great, just a 3 mins walk to KLCC and walkable distance to Pavilion. The welcome drink was absolutely delicious!

The breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of delicious options. The only minor hiccup was at the noodle station, my order was left sitting beside the broth pot after being prepared, and I had to wait quite a while before the staff realized it was unclaimed. A bit more attentiveness or proactive checking from the station chef would make a world of difference there.

La décoration est magnifique. Les chambres sont très confortables et nous transportent dans une Malaisie raffinée et pleine de charme. Le petit déjeuner est phénoménal et d'une diversité qui ravira tout le monde. La piscine est très agréable. La localisation à deux pas des tours Petronas et des rues animés du centre de Kuala Lumpur. A ne pas rater.

The RuMa Hotel e' un boutique hotel luxury davvero bellissimo. Nel nostro viaggio tra Malesia e Bali abbiamo soggiornato in alberghi top, ma forse il RuMa è stato quello dove siamo stati meglio. Upgrade con camera vista torri Kuala Lumpur davvero suggestiva, colazione di livello, piscina e bar super. Ultimo giorno partenza presto, bene servizio breakfast da asporto. Da ritornare

Lights are too dim. Hard to find a place to do make up

The location is very central, the staff were friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived including taking our luggage up to our room. The room itself was spacious and stylish. The bed was super comfortable (with pillow menu options) and the block out shutters made it excellent for getting a good nights sleep. The shampoo and conditioner provided were a much higher quality than most hotels provide and smelled divine. The breakfast was a highlight with a wide selection of cuisines and we also took advantage of the pool and cocktail bar in the early evenings. The Room service food was excellent for the nights we preferred to stay in and the overall quality of our stay was exceptional.

We had some issues getting the tv channels to work but that wasn’t a huge problem as we could have asked the hotel to look into it.

Nothing, everything was just fabulous!

Good location. Really appreciated the good lighting in communal areas and the room. Staff was very attentive, especially Sofiuddin, who looked after us so well at the pool bar. Unfortunately we didn't manage to try the restaurant, as we booked for the tasting menu that we saw in the hotel information provided in the room, but once we got there we were informed that the menu had changed. I suspect it was probably a case of poor communication between the restaurant and front desk as we did mention it when booking.

We had an afternoon tea session at The Librari with the rest of the bridesmaids last Saturday. There were 6 of us in total. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. It wasn't too crowded, which made it feel cozy, relaxing and intimate. The place was also pleasantly quiet, making it perfect for catching up. The food was good as well. Thumbs up to the presentation! We ordered 3 sets of Grand Volume and the portions were well worth the price. If you're looking for a great spot for afternoon tea, this is definitely a place worth checking out. A place that is not overly hyped or crowded. A special thank you to Vivienne from Sales for helping us arrange everything. We will definitely be back for another occasion!

Overall, our stay was amazing. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast at ATAS was also excellent. Despite the high occupancy, everything was well managed, and the service remained attentive and efficient. We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a perfect location, breathtaking views, and exceptional staff. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome, and the rooms are both elegant and incredibly comfortable. What impressed us the most, however, was how the team handled an issue we encountered during our previous stay. They didn’t just solve the problem—they turned it into an even better experience. That’s exactly what creates true guest loyalty. Because of that, we chose to come back, and from now on, whenever I’m in Kuala Lumpur, this will be the only hotel I’ll stay at.

Tried the Sunday Brunch at ATAS at The RuMa, and it exceeded expectations! Unlike typical chaotic hotel buffets, the hybrid format here hits the perfect balance between quality and variety. The made-to-order dishes straight from the Mibrasa charcoal oven were cooked to perfection—the grilled steak and lobster were definite highlights. The chilled seafood barrel was fresh, and the service was warm, attentive, and seamless throughout. Special thanks to Bell and the rest of the staff for being so helpful and hospitable! We had a splendid stay at The RuMa Hotel. A special shout-out to the Front Desk team, especially Kiky, for the warm welcome during our family’s check-in. From the moment we arrived, the genuine hospitality made us feel right at home—it truly lived up to the meaning of “Rumah.” A big thank you as well to Sai from the Bell team, who was very helpful in assisting with our luggage. Our room was spotless throughout our two-night stay, and although I can’t remember the name of the room attendant, they did an excellent job keeping everything clean and comfortable. Breakfast at ATAS was outstanding, with a great selection of food and attentive service. Special thanks to Bell from the hostess team for the wonderful hospitality. This hotel is awesome. The rooms are so big, with great city view and if you are above level 8 you can see the Petronas Tower from your room. The food is the best we have experienced in a hotel so far. The Staff are so great! The best receptionist was MAS. She was such a lovely person! We will definitely come back. Great location - easy walk to the Pavilion Mall.

Had a wonderful Sunday brunch at The RuMa. The food selection was excellent, with fresh seafood, delicious mains, and amazing desserts. A special thanks to Mr. Sulaiman for his attentiveness and to Mr Bell for his warm hospitality, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The ambience was elegant and relaxing. While the price point is on the higher side, the overall experience, food quality, and service made it worthwhile.

The location couldn’t be any better tbh. We also got an upgrade as first time guests. Even though we had the upgrade the room felt tight especially the bathroom. It was very decent overall though. Possibly would stay again.

The housekeeping was slow and could have paid more attention to detail. The beds were low and bathroom could be a better standard.

We can run out of words while being here. The ambience just makes u wanna be calm, composed and chill One of the most important thing i would really highlight, is the attentivenes of the staff. From the moment you come in to dining to room service everyone seems to be well trained, well spoken and professional. The hotel itself is excellent. Probably one of the cleanest, best kept hotels in any major city, anywhere. The service however is absolutely superb. Besides the excellent waiters at the restaurant, including the very helpful Mursaleen and his coworker whose name starts with an R (I forget), I’ll mention Danish who has always been extremely helpful upon entry and exit. Today he offered to follow me all the way to through the parking garage while a looked for my rental car and even to wait with the luggage while I went back up to get the internet needed to unlock the car. Extremely professional service from Danish. Thank you all!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at The RuMa Hotel. We absolutely loved the interior design and the attention to every detail throughout the property. The hotel beautifully showcases Malaysian culture and heritage, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. The food was exceptional, with delicious local cuisine served from breakfast through to dinner. It is easy to see why this hotel has received Michelin recognition. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always checking to ensure we were enjoying our stay and had everything we needed. A truly memorable experience, and we look forward to returning. Well deserved of its Michelin accolade!

Shower door leaked, then broke on day 1. Bar service in Seven bar very slow. Incorrect charge for drinks, tried to dispute on checkout but was given runaround until it was taking so long that it was easier just to pay it. They said they would correct the final charge but never did, inroads amount was billed.

I highly recommend this hotel! Very nice experience from the moment i drove in. The staff all were warm, cheery and helpful. Check-in was breezy and i was lucky my room was available almost immediately. I love that they attended me and briefed me at the couch rather than at the counter. The room, oh where do i begin..probably the nicest bed i have slept in, this is probably how it feels sleeping on the cloud..so, so comfortable and i woke up refreshed, all my soreness gone! I love everything about the room, really! Very nice and relaxing ambience. The location is also very spot on, easily walkable and short distance to klcc, bukit bintang (thus, trx if you want, not that far) and less than 1km easy flat walk to conlay mrt which is 1 station away from trx. Breakfast, oh dear..excellent! No generic hotel taste, they did not play with the local food, everything tasted good and better than typical outside stall, really worth it! Attentive staff too, they attended you before you even think you need it. I will surely return again for longer stay 😊

Beautiful Hotel, conveniently located walking distance to Pavilion Mall and Suria KLCC. Staff are excellent, especially the helpful and engaging concierge Joshua. Dining is amazing, breakfast is an experience.

Everything about this hotel is above expectations! The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for everything, the amenities are top notch and I found they were never over crowded. The breakfast was of an excellent quality but could do with a little more variety. The rooms were very spacious and the view of the twin towers was amazing! The location was also perfect right in the middle of KLCC and Bukit Bintang with access to each with a short walk or very short grab ride! The complimentary mini bar was also a great touch! There is also a 7/11 right across the street for any other needs.

The only very minor thing I found was with the central airconditioning in the room at times it would not cool down enough or very quickly. Otherwise there is nothing else I can say was a negative about this hotel!

Had a great time here at ATAS. Food were great and our server named Bell was superb! 1st class treatment. Would definitely recommend this place to famili and friends. Laksa Johor is a must try here. Onde-onde ice cream was delicious. A twist kf traditional and fusion taste. Do keep it up.
