Great service and lovely cocktails
Our family came to Beijing on holiday and stayed at the Wangfujing Mandarin Oriental, absolutely brilliant! The front desk staff spoke perfect English, so check‑in was a breeze. The location’s spot on, walking distance to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Street, which saved heaps of time and hassle with the kids. The hotel set us up with a cot, little pressies for the kids, and even a dedicated kids’ menu, our little ones loved it. The view from our room looked straight over the Forbidden City, and watching the sunrise there in the morning was just stunning. The staff were super friendly to our kids too. The whole family was chuffed, highly recommend to any family!

Wan and Mike are the perfect bartenders I have every met in Beijing 👍
We celebrated a family birthday at Mandarin Grill in Beijing and had a wonderful brunch experience. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, making it an excellent choice for a special family occasion. The brunch offered a generous selection of high-quality dishes, all beautifully presented and carefully prepared. A special thank-you to Elma, the manager, and Cici for their attentive and thoughtful service. They made the celebration feel personal without ever being intrusive. Mandarin Grill is a great choice in Beijing for a luxury weekend brunch, a birthday celebration or a memorable family meal. We will gladly return.
The rooftop bar Mo Bar is a must-visit with great view, a big variety of drinks. Special Thanks to Leo for the amazing service.
Had a wonderful stay in Mandarin Oriental hotel Beijing. The hotel is beautiful. The staff and service in this hotel is outstanding. The decor and the spacious room suites made this hotel even more noteworthy. The staff and management are professional, wonderful and helpful. They made our stay special. It’s in a great location as well, right in Beijing. The Library, speakeasy, pool, bars and restaurants in the hotel are welcoming and relaxing. They are all popular with great menu options. The hotel and Rooms are always clean and welcoming.

Great breakfast and view
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Beijing, elegantly designed and immaculately maintained. The staff are all courteous and friendly, creating an atmosphere of welcoming hospitality. A huge thanks to our wonderful tour guides Huo Shao Fai (Richard), who took us to the Great Wall and Forbidden City and Kevin Hu, who took us around the Terracotta Warriors. Absolute stellar chaps, felt easily relaxed and comfortable with them, they went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. Their knowledge is extensive and Chinenglish exceptional! Thank you so much to the hotel for organizing this for us and thankyou guys for being so marvellous.
Finally got a chance to visit Beijing and this beautiful hotel. highly recommended and special thanks to Tina from reception who helped us so much during the stay. She speaks wonderful english and always act professionally and efficiently. I will definitely come back soon!
We visited MO Bar one evening in August and had a great experience. The cocktails were creative and interesting, and the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Everyone spoke English, which made everything very easy. The view over the Forbidden City is beautiful, although at night the Forbidden City itself is quite dark as it is not illuminated. I would recommend coming around sunset to enjoy the view at its best. A special mention to Lio, the bar captain, who was particularly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Great cocktails, excellent service and a beautiful location. Definitely worth visiting!
地點很好!

Definitely one of the best hotels in Beijing - with beautiful terrace overlooking the forbidden city. Boutique style atmosphere, great cocktail environment at night on terrace, well luxury fitted rooms, and attentive service.
I stayed at the MO Wandfujing for three nights/4 days in July 2026. Silk member here of the Fan of MO programme. This is a smaller hotel (70 or so rooms) in a very lively area of Beijing. Check-in was decent. The check-in agent took me to my (premier) room on the 6th floor which was absolutely lovely. During my trip in China, I stayed at the MO Shanghai, the MO Guangzhou and the MO Beijing. I would say that the room at MO Beijing ranks first in terms of how luxurious and elegant it was (except perhaps the carpet which I always find odd in these types of properties). The view was nice (but certainly not as nice as the one I had in MO Shanghai whioch ranks first for views and service). The room was extremely comfortable. The bed was excellent. The choice of coffee and tea was good. The welcome amenity was thoughtful (fruits and local pastries). After my first night, I noticed a very strong smell of mold/humidity in the room which was really not pleasant. I hesitated to report it to the front desk but did so because the smell kept getting stronger according to me. While I was away visiting the Great Wall, I got message telling me that two devices had been installed in my room to fight the smell. When I got back, the devices were indeed there and the smell was much better. I however had to turn off these devices at night because they were really loud, in my view, which meant the smell was back in the morning. The hotel apologised profusely and offered me a candle (which was really not necessary). Breakfast was excellent. The choice is truly special. But two things did spoil the experience for me: first there were really rude (foreign) guests taking phone calls on speaker mode from their breakfast table and having endless loud conversations with no regard for other customers. I do not understand how that can be tolerated at a property like this, especially in the morning when people need a sense of quiet and peace. Secondly, I did not understand the rush of the staff to bring you a check to sign minutes after you sit down (even though breakfast was part of my Silk benefits). After the first cup of coffee and the first bite, a bill suddenly appeared. Not appropriate, in my view. I was offered a small tin of tea on my last day by the breakfast team which I thought was really nice. The staff was very kind indeed. I tried Café Zi for dinner. Decent experience. Does not compare to Jiang by Chef Fei (MO Guangzhou) but had an overall good experience. As Silk member, you are supposed to get a surprise from the Chef : that never happened for me. Oh well. I also tried the MO bar with its nice rooftop and its exquisite cocktails. Laundry service was reliable. All in all, I would say that apart from the really beautiful room I got, I feel there was no sense of being at a Mandarin Oriental. My experiences with MO hotels so far were very different in terms of service, in particular. It was not until I checked-out with Quentin on my last day that I thought : "Ha, this is maybe a Mandarin Oriental after all". The level of professionalism that Quentin provided at check-out was up to MO's standards but I did not come across such service at MO Wangfujing until I checked-out, which is a pity. To me, there was something that truly highlights the shift in MO's standards: at night, the housekeeping staff would leave a bookmark on your bed, with inspirational words depending on the day of the week. It was nice but it seemed awfully very standardized to me and unlike any MO experience I had before. In other MO properties worldwide, you do get a bookmark but you do also get a (very) small gesture of appreciation which goes a long way in acknowledging the client's loyalty to MO. In London, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Taipei; you would in fact get a different small gift every night with a beautiful farewell letter of the General Manager on your last night. The value of these small gifts was close to zero but made a difference in terms of loyalty for the regular MO clients. MO Beijing needs to and can do better. I would probably not stay here again if I visit Beijing in the future but I am really glad I did and really enjoyed my stay.
The place is amazing and I must say Leo and Cinta where so nice to us! I highly recommend this place.
We spent three wonderful days at Mandarin Oriental as a family with our five-year-old daughter. During our stay, we enjoyed the breakfast, the Chinese restaurant, and the swimming pool. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the warm, attentive service made us feel truly at home. A special thank you to Stena, whose kindness and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Our daughter became so attached to the hotel that she even cried before we left, saying she didn’t want to leave. That alone speaks volumes about how special our experience was. Thank you to the entire team for your heartfelt care and dedication.
Stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. The location in Wangfujing was perfect—within walking distance of the Forbidden City, shopping streets, and plenty of restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet despite being in such a busy area. A special thanks to Tina from the Front Office. She was genuinely warm, professional, and always happy to help. From check-in to local recommendations, she made everything smooth and made us feel truly welcome. Small gestures like hers really made a difference. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Beijing. Highly recommended!
We have visited MO bar in Beijing and from the moment we have enter we felt so warm welcome from all the staff, the atmosphere and design it’s absolutely a different level of luxury, Hanna thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness, Quentin such a professional and he took very care of us 😊 can’t wait to be back again, thank you so much!
A perfect stay for 2 nights. Staff are attentive, informative and helpful. Arranged us a short trip to their wutong hotel and it’s good for couple. Swimming pool well maintained. Yummy and great breakfast. Always had a little surprise when we back room after outing.
Amazing atmosphere, good DJ and our server Leo was an absolute star!🌟
Super attentive staff, perfect location, superb level of services, exceptional breakfast. Mandarin Oriental is always sign of quality.
The location is the best. But more than that - the hotel & staff made our stay so special and memorable. The service is above and beyond thoughtful - Osgood, Allen, Yulia from concierge. Rose, Sandy, Yang from Cafe Zi. Shelly & Bob from housekeeping. Lina, Avery, William, Alex from the front desk - all of them are so generous and will take good care of you. If you are celebrating something, this is the best hotel to stay in. Theres always a surprise waiting!

An absolutely perfect experience at MO Wangfujing. From pre-arrival tour planning to the warm farewell, every detail was impeccable. Rosie Gao, quality and guest relations manager, was a gem. Her dining recommendations, reservations, and house car arrangements were seamless. She even helped arrange a fascinating visit to their Qianmen sister property. Hotel manager Elliott Wang made us feel genuinely at home, while the concierge team and every staff member greeted us by name with genuine warmth. Our room boasted a stunning Forbidden City view, which elevated the entire experience. The thoughtful farewell souvenirs touched our hearts. This is personalised luxury at its finest, Without a doubt, a 100/100 stay. Thanks for the memories.
I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant design, the serene atmosphere, and the breathtaking view of the Forbidden City from my room. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Beijing, yet it feels like a peaceful oasis. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the outstanding service. I would like to give a special thank you to Aveny at the front desk. She was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive from check-in to check-out. She anticipated my needs before I even voiced them, offered excellent recommendations for local dining, and made sure every detail of my stay was flawless. Her genuine care and radiant smile made me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. The room was immaculate, the bed was heavenly, and the amenities were top-notch. I also enjoyed the spa and the rooftop bar, which offered stunning city views. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing—whether for business or leisure. And if you want a seamless, five-star experience, be sure to say hello to Aveny. She is a true asset to the Mandarin Oriental team. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, and thank you, Aveny, for making my trip so memorable!
Having not visited Beijing for over a decade, choosing the right hotel for our large family of 9 traveling from Singapore was a huge decision. Since we have stayed at Mandarin Oriental properties across different countries, we had high expectations for Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing. Unfortunately, our arrival was disappointing. The front desk staff greeted us with a cold, robotic attitude that felt very far from the warm hospitality MO is known for. To make matters worse, our first room had a severe, suffocating musty odor. Since our first day was packed and hectic, we tried to endure it. However, after spending the second day out exploring with the family, walking back into that damp, moldy smell was the breaking point. It was completely unbearable. Frustrated, I called the Concierge, and thankfully, William answered my call. From that exact moment, the experience completely changed. William is the absolute definition of why we loyal guests choose Mandarin Oriental. He didn’t just listen to my complaint; he showed genuine care, deeply empathized with our frustration, and truly stood in our shoes to solve the problem immediately. Despite it being very late in the evening and handling a large family of nine, he went completely above and beyond. Knowing how exhausted we all were, he incredibly thoughtfully arranged for us to go straight to a fresh, south-facing room to sleep first, postponing the exhausting luggage relocation until the next day so we wouldn't be further disrupted in the middle of the night. He also immediately sent up an air purifier. His reassuring attitude, swift action, and exceptional attentiveness instantly turned my anger into complete relief. The following morning, the bellmen were also very proactive, enthusiastic, and helpful in completing our room move. William single-handedly turned what could have been a holiday disaster into a comforting, memorable experience. He is a phenomenal asset to this hotel. Thank you, William, for your dedication and for reminding us what legendary MO service looks like!
We had a wonderful stay, thanks to Peter Fu who taking good care a welcome drink and meal while we were waiting for the room, Hotel room is impeccable clean. The service is top.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. After walking around the city all day, it was nice to come back and relax in the room. I would like to thank Stena and Mavis at the front desk. She was always polite and answered my questions kindly. I appreciated their help during my stay. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality. I had a comfortable stay and hope to visit again someday.

Everything. Location, interior design, Staff, Service. Definitely the best Hotel in Beijing!
This was a wonderful experience full of surprises. A special thank you to Aimyon at the front desk who went above and beyond to decorate our room when she found out we were celebrating a birthday. It made the trip so memorable!
Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything about this property feels refined and thoughtfully curated. The interiors are elegant, the atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, and every detail reflects true luxury. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the wellness experience. The spa facilities, pool, steam room, and sauna created the perfect environment to relax after a day of exploring Beijing. The hotel also introduced us to traditional local experiences, making our stay feel even more authentic and memorable. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. An unforgettable experience and a perfect example of why Mandarin Oriental remains one of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands.
I had always thought that the luxury hotels were pretty much the same, but this time I got a little better after staying at Mandarin Oriental in Wangfujing, Beijing. My favorite was the overall atmosphere of the hotel, which wasn't particularly dramatic but was very comfortable to stay in. Returning from the outside in the evening, I sat in the lobby for a while, had a cup of tea, and felt the exhaustion of the day had come down. Thanks to Stena,Yulia and Mavis for taking care of them, they will take the initiative to greet them during the stay, making people feel like they are really remembered, rather than going through the process of service.
Before I start reviewing the property I must start by complementing the great service the concierge gave us before and throughout our stay. They arranged everything like we asked and we did not have a single problem in all our stay. The rest of the staff from their kitchen to room service were also great and went above and beyond to help us with all our needs. The hotel itself is right in the middle of Wangfujing and you can walk right outside to a very lively area full of shops, malls and restaurants. Also their terrace has beautiful views of the city. Their rooms and restaurants were all great. The only thing we missed was a nice outside pool (or inside as their pool is a super small two lane inside pool). Overall it was a great stay.
A great MO hotel! Perfect central location, lovely rooms and, best of all, great helpful staff. Cool MO bar and Cafe Zi was excellent. My wife and I loved our short day there and wish we could have stayed longer
MO hotels are usually very well located and this one is no exception. It is like an oasis in the middle of the hustle bustle of Wangfujing and I looked forward to my return to the quiet and solitude of the hotel after suffering the torture of accompanying my wife to numerous shopping malls nearby. We have travelled extensively all over the world and are familiar with well known hotels. I was expecting top notch service with warm hospitality and the hotel certainly lived up to the expectations. All the staff were warm, polite and helpful. Some are more fluent in English than others, but it was not an issue at all. Check in/check out was smooth. Stena at the front desk was very efficient and courteous. Osgood with his pins was also very friendly and saved me the trouble of finding a post office. The dining room staff spoke excellent English and I felt great when one lady said my pronunciation of 谢谢 was perfect. They really know how to make the guests feel happy ! Breakfast buffet had a good mix. After three weeks of travelling in China eating steamed buns, fried rice and noodles for breakfast I was desperate for some proper continental breakfast and the hotel definitely delivered. One of the best almond croissants that I have ever eaten. The egg benedict was perfect. My small gripe with the Avo toast is that I am used to have the Avo mashed and spread on the bread with a bit of lemon/salt and not served just as slices on bread. No big deal of course. Our room did have a partial view of the forbidden city, you get better view from their terrace. I regret that I did not have time to enjoy the pool. Lovely big bathroom , his and hers basins and a separate WC with one of those Toto modern toilets with many buttons, even separate settings for two users ! Very good sound proofing. One small thing that impressed me was that I had left several cables plugged to the wall socket in the morning. On my return I saw house keeping has neatly tidied up all the cables and even used a cable tie to make them look very organised ! This is not a huge hotel and that makes the experience more personal. It does not have a grand lobby and you may be disappointed that the entrance is common with a shopping mall. But as soon as you step out of the lift it oozes old world charm and sense of peace and solitude. Have a look at the room key card. It is designed by Timmy Yip, who was the art director of one my my most favourite films Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I appreciated the gifts at the time of leaving. My one little comment is that I found the pillows a bit on the sift side. Some hotels have a pillow menu where the guests can choose pillows with different level of firmness. Maybe the management can look into that. Overall a very satisfying stay and I'd certainly consider staying here if I return to Beijing.
Amazing rooms. Lovely view
I had such a great stay at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing. I’ve stayed at quite a few luxury hotels in Beijing, but this one really stands out. The hotel feels elegant without trying too hard — very calm, modern, and comfortable. After spending the whole day out in the city, coming back to the hotel honestly felt like a reset. What made the experience even better was the service. Stena was amazing throughout my stay — always warm, professional, and genuinely thoughtful. She remembered little details and made everything feel very natural instead of overly formal. Allen was also incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations and arrangements, which made my trip so much easier. You can really tell the team cares about guests instead of just following a standard routine. I also loved the rooftop atmosphere at night and how peaceful the rooms felt. Everything about the stay just felt easy and relaxing. It’s the kind of hotel that makes you want to come back before you’ve even checked out. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing.
The team organised everything perfectly for me and my wife we were treated the best and all our needs were accommodated whenever we needed it. Marvin Lin with his great English and attitude was very useful and supported our unique experience in Beijing.
Everything is perfect. Nothing to dislike. Amazing.
service from Stena, Alex, and Osgood was exceptional, making my stay a truly pleasant experience.
70 rooms, quite intimate. Nice room, beautiful blue carpets, great quality, charming service. We also visited the Hutong Mandarin just for a drink, very impressive (although my wife would have not liked the remote room location since you have to go out of the hotel, walk in the small dark Hutong lanes to access your courtyard; feels a little unsafe from her point of view) Last point; I’m always surprised to get no reward for booking without intermediary. Since I never use booking.com or travel agents, the hotels have a clear financial upside with me compared to other guests; why don’t they reward it? I never understood this.
OMG!!! What a great experience we had! The hotel the facilities but above all the staff! We have been to many hotels around the world but the staff here was so incredible, Rosie Aimyon & Stena. Can’t thank you enough for all your help with making my 50th birthday so memorable and magical. The tour to the Great Wall with Lucy and all the details you surprised me with of course all orchestrated by my husband. We will never forget this! Thank you
Perfect location!! The hotel is located in the middle of a very upmarket shopping area, close to the forbidden city and a short taxi ride away from other sights. We had a very smooth and welcoming check in; our rooms were ready on arrival at 9 AM in the morning, which was beyond expectations. Within minutes we were up in our room. The room iswell decorated and the bathroom is kingsize with a separate toilet (toto). Wonderful service throughout from the very nice gentleman at check in, the lovey lady every morning at breakfast (excellent breakfast) to the warm and friendly check out with Stena (thank you). I would stay here again.
This hotel stood out to me for both its warm atmosphere and exceptional service. The team struck the perfect balance, always attentive and helpful without ever feeling overbearing, which made my stay feel effortless and relaxing. I’d especially like to thank Stena for her genuine kindness and professionalism, as well as Nana, who also contributed to making the experience so great. Stena took the time to answer all my questions and assisted with a few arrangements, which I really appreciated. It’s truly the people who make a stay unforgettable, and both Stena and Nana played a big part in that. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming, and the whole check-in process was smooth. I would especially like to thank Stena and Mavis for the warm assistance and attention to detail. She was very helpful and made sure everything during my stay was well taken care of. The room was comfortable and beautifully maintained. Overall a great experience and I would happily stay here again.
Absolutamente tudo.
Nada.
Location convenient to the forbidden city Staff members: Stena and Gemini were very helpful
We had a wonderful 4-night stay and truly enjoyed the entire experience. Everything from the service to the overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Osgood, Allen, Amy, and Owen for their outstanding attention and kindness throughout our stay. They took great care of us and made the experience even more memorable.
Absolutely fabulous stay! Will come back. Stena and Osgood and Kyrie were incredible hosts and helped my family a lot!
I had a wonderful stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Ozgood was especially helpful, offering great recommendations for places to eat and things to do, which made our trip even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and welcoming stay.
I recently stayed at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing during a short Eid holiday escape from Dubai, and it was truly an unforgettable experience—especially as it was my first time visiting Beijing. The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance to the iconic Forbidden City (Palace Museum), making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the front desk team. They were incredibly helpful and proactive in offering tips and recommendations on how to explore the city, which made a big difference for first-time visitors like us. I also felt extremely safe throughout my stay, which added to the overall comfort and peace of mind. One of the highlights of the hotel is its rooftop bar. Enjoying a glass of their signature cocktail while overlooking the breathtaking view of the Forbidden City is truly a must-try experience—one that you will never forget. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out. Every detail reflected comfort and elegance, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast experience was also fantastic. I especially loved their dim sum—it was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. A special thank you to Peter and Alex, along with the entire team, for making our stay so exceptional and memorable. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing, and I look forward to returning again in the future.
The property is beautiful, location is very convenient and close to the shopping street. But the most unforgettable thing is the people who work there. Absolutely every single person was so helpful and professional! I’d like to say THANK YOU to Aimyon from Guest Relations, Kyrie from Bell team, Chief Concierge Osgood, the entire team of Cafe Zi. And a separate applause and BIG thank you to your Duty Manager Alex who has amazed me with his dedication, passion and professionalism towards everything he does.
I went on this trip with my son. The service at the hotel is incredible - consistent with the other MOs I have stayed in Barcelona, Hong Kong etc. The location is also prime. We will definitely be back and would recommend the MO Wangfujing to anyone who is looking to spend time in Beijing.
Our family vacation in Beijing was wonderful because we chose the Mandarin Oriental in Wangfujing. The property is beautiful and the service is impeccable. I say this as a well traveled family - we were delighted with the food, the pool, the art, the decor, the location and most notably, the service. Osgood Zhang, the Chief Concierge, was attentive to our every need and reflects exactly the kind of service one can hope for when taking time to enjoy traveling rather than going to work. This is a 5 star + hotel and we can’t wait to return !
Here the service is good and friendly especially the staff name Stena Rosie.Thank you so much for the good service.

Amazing stay at an incredible hotel with an elegant, warm, and attentive team. Spectacular room with stunning views of the Forbidden City. A special mention to Rosie, who was charming and attentive at all times. The best thing about Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is definitely its team—of course, without forgetting the food and the incredible breakfasts!
We had a wonderful experience, it is at the best location closer to the Forbidden City, Rooms are great with all the amenities needed for travel, it was cleaned promptly. The Spa exprience was great. Our concierge Osgood helped us plan our days. We received good services from all the front desk staff especially Amiyon, Gemini, Marvin, and Nana. We had reserved a car and guide to take us around to the Great Wall and the Hutong Art districts and Lieulichang Art districts. Our guide Emett was really good and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay at Mandarin Oriental again.
Aimyon and Mavis and Gemini were excelent congratulacions for everything

Our stay at Mandarin Oriental Beijing, Wangfujing was exceptional from the very first moment we walked in. The level of care and attention to detail was evident immediately and consistent throughout the stay. What really stood out is that the service never felt transactional. The team was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely focused on helping — including with things that were completely outside their control. They supported us through a lost luggage situation, coordinated with travel teams, and even reached out proactively to the hotel we were transferring to. All of it was handled calmly and with real consideration. Several people made a lasting impression: the hotel manager, the front desk and duty managers, Alex, Nacho from food and beverage, and Sabrina in the spa. Each of them took personal interest in making sure my family and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. The attention to detail in the room was also greatly appreciated. Overall, a stay that felt personal, thoughtful, and genuinely five-star.
Amazing room with many things available to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Moreover facilities were well maintained such as the pool and gym .Lastly, the room service food was delicious!
Excellent hotel, located in the center of Beijing, amazing breakfasts. Special thanks to Marvin Lin and William Zhang for their excellent service, the staff speaks English well. The staff also gave me souvenirs when I checked out. 10/10
The hotel is stunning; our room was immaculately clean with a beautiful terrace. The stay was made more exceptional by the service of the staff. Professional and kind, Marvin from the Guest Relations, ensured every aspect of our stay was perfect, thoughtfully checking in on us, brilliantly introducing the hotel facilities [including the new Mongolian huts at MOBar while personally escorting me to my room] and offering fantastic local recommendations. The genuine warmth and attentiveness from everyone else was equally outstanding. It’s a shame that I left just before Beijing started to snow.
I had an exceptional stay at the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing! The hotel blends luxury with genuine hospitality, making it feel like a home away from home. Peter was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The location is perfect for exploring Beijing's rich culture and heritage, the first snowfall of the year adds up the wonderful experience. Can't wait to return!
The experience was absolutely remarkable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the Reception team. Peter, in particular, was a standout, offering incredible recommendations for restaurants and bars around the city that truly enhanced my stay. Beautiful room and amenities added to the overall charm, making everything feel special and inviting. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Just got back from an awesome stay at the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing! The vibe is super chill, and Peter and his team are amazing, really made me feel at home. Plus, the location is perfect for checking out all the sights in Beijing.
An exceptional stay in the hotel, elegant Christmas decoration and warm greetings set a great set of the experience. Perfect room style and fanatic amenities with super Beijing local heritage - Lion style Chocolate. Breakfast in Zishan was an exquisite highlight, dining with the snowy scene at a window table. Diverse food feed my taste. All colleagues are welcome, a special shout out to Adele and Peter Fu in Front Office who took care me and made me really feel at home. Can wait for a revisit.
The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Peter and Quentine from the Front Office, who gave us great recommendations. Stepping out onto the Cafe Zi restaurant terrace to see the Forbidden City’s rooftops at sunset was magical. Its perfect location, right behind Wangfujing Street and the Wangfu Central Mall, made dining and shopping a breeze. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Beijing
They live up to their name! The hotel facilities are amazing and the service provided was also top tier. Thanks to Marvin and Cassie, fluent english and professional service. Will be coming back soon!
Location of hotel is perfect with good view of forbidden City! The food in cafe Zi was amazing, especially for the breakfast! The service from hotel is professional and all staff are warm and helpful. We would definitely come back again soon!
A special thanks to Peter, Marvin, and Cassie — you’ve all done a great job. Your team, and the entire hotel, provided such detailed and thoughtful service that it truly made us feel at home. It was phenomenal. Even though the property is smaller in size and facilities, we both agreed that the exquisite food and exceptional service made Mandarin Oriental stand out. Your team should be very proud. Our stay was an unforgettable birthday celebration. The decorations were beautifully done, and the cake was absolutely scrumptious. Definitely a five-star hotel.
During our stay at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing with my family, we were truly impressed by the hotel’s service and room arrangement. We were greeted by Manager Peter Fu and a young lady at the front desk, who thoughtfully upgraded our room to a deluxe king room — we highly appreciate their attentive service! The room was beautifully decorated, and they prepared snacks and sparkling tea for us. Suddenly, as travelers far from home in Beijing, we felt truly at ease and welcome. The hotel’s MO Bar was also excellent, and we’d like to thank Sally for her warm hospitality, which was both humanized and professional. We are extremely grateful for the gracious reception from Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back again.
My stay at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing was absolutely exceptional and far surpassed my expectations. Its unbeatable location in the heart of Wangfujing is a huge plus—just a short stroll to historic sites like the Forbidden City and bustling shopping streets, making both sightseeing and daily trips incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated with subtle Chinese elements, and spotlessly clean, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a charming view of the city. Every staff member, Cassie, Rosie and others from the front desk to the concierge, was professional, attentive and warm, going out of their way to fulfill my requests promptly. The breakfast buffet was a delight, with a wide range of international and local delicacies, all fresh and beautifully presented. Without a doubt, this is my go-to luxury hotel in Beijing, and I can't wait to come back.
