Very clean, friendly and accommodating. The guesthouse is spacious and located in a 300 year old building with an extremely tastefully designed interior. Checking in and out is seamless and one feels safe and at home. The guest house also provides useful tips for eating out, sightseeing etc. and has a nice cafe at the ground floor.
I have no criticism
La ubicación y limpieza
Las almohadas altas y duras
Excelente ubicación, trato del personal, limpieza
La atención del personal. Fredi, es increíble, pero todos-as son superiores. Muchas gracias.
Todo estuvo perfecto.
The breakfast was phenomenal and the location was perfect.

Loved the location! Perfect for Old San Juan. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed using the Jacuzzi, we used it every night. Staff was so lovely and so accommodating. Our room was perfect! Freddy upgraded us to a balcony room so we enjoyed the balcony for an early morning coffee and relaxing at night. Rooms were clean and comfy, incredibly well restored! The property is so well maintained and beautiful, would absolutely return for another stay!
Nothing, we had a phenomenal stay
Excellent breakfast, kind hosts and great location.
Everything! It’s such a beautiful property in a great location, and the people are incredibly kind and very helpful.
Nada.
What a wonderful stay at 352 Boutique Guest House! The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Old San Juan and is absolutely stunning, with beautiful colonial architecture and a gorgeous interior full of character and charm. The hosts were amazing — warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive. The customer service was exceptional throughout my stay, and I truly felt looked after. As a solo female traveller, I also felt very safe and comfortable here, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
Simply amazing! Beautiful, intimate, and clean boutique hotel right in the heart of San Juan. Nothing like we’ve ever experienced, not quite an Air BnB but not quite the big hotel chain feel either. Their security system gave us peace of mind. Seamless check in, as well as coming and going each day. The staff? Fantastic. Anything you need from towels, to water, to recommendations around the island. Make sure you take a little time to enjoy the rooftop in the morning and the jacuzzi at night! So peaceful. We will be returning for sure. Don’t pass this place up!!
Very clean property and staff was amazing, felt very safe with the safely features on the property, I will be staying again in the future and recommend to friends who are planning to stay in San Juan. This was located in the middle of everything.
The room was comfortable, and the entire establishment was well decorated and cozy. Despite being located right in Old San Juan, it was very quiet. It also felt very safe - there are multiple locked doors and the premises are monitored by security cameras with no outside guests permitted. The location was also excellent - within Old San Juan, but not too far into the interior.
I would have preferred a safe big enough to hold my laptop, but overall the building felt very safe. It also might have been good to have an obvious way to decline cleaning service; that said, it was nice to come back to a clean, re-made room every night.
Todo estuvo bastante bien. Solo las almohadas un poco altas.
We enjoyed this beautiful building right in the middle of Old San Juan. The rooftop was beautiful, we enjoyed views from the jacuzzi, including a good look at Castillo San Cristóbal. The complimentary breakfast was delicious as well. The staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Everything we wanted to do was within a 10-minute walk. We totally recommend, book and you won’t regret it.
We loved everything about our stay! The people, security & location exceeded our expectations.
Beautifully renovated colonial house. Delicious breakfast. Feels very safe. Lovely owner. Great experience.
Absolutely loved our stay here! The location was perfect and the hotel was beautiful. The made to order breakfast was delicious and the service overall was beyond expectations.
Friendly owners, very clean and well cared for
Relatively steep stairs to second floor, but it is a historical building
**Amazing Stay for a Solo Female Traveler** As a Black woman traveling solo, safety is always one of my top concerns when choosing a place to stay. I had an excellent experience at 352 Guest House in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and felt safe throughout my entire stay. The hotel uses key access and facial recognition technology, which gave me extra peace of mind. The rooms and hallways were quiet and peaceful, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. I also loved the location, it was close to many great restaurants and food spots, so getting around was easy and convenient. The view from the property was beautiful and added to the overall experience. I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely book here again. If you are a Black woman traveling alone and looking for a safe, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay in San Juan, I highly recommend 352 Guest House. I can't wait to come back!
Hotel room was clean. Steep stairs to room. QR codes worked fine opening doors.
Stated on their website that the breakfast closes at 9:30. What they really mean is that the kitchen closes way earlier (probably around 9) and the breakfast room closes at 9:30 and they will forcefully kick you out then. From the response from messaging them about this (See below and pictured). Service Hours: Breakfast service concludes promptly at 9:30 AM. To receive full à la carte service, guests must arrive with sufficient time for preparation and dining. They do not say what time is needed for sufficient time for breakfast food to be prepared nor is that part on their website. DO NOT show up after 9 with the hopes of food. We had the unfortunate experience of showing up at 9:15 with the hopes of breakfast, only to be turned away because the kitchen was closed, but to top it off the staff member (Freddy Andrade) was very condescending and rude about their policy. We were talking to a waitress who was attempting to get us drinks as that's all she could do with the kitchen closed, when he ushered us out of the restaurant and then berated us about disrespecting staff because we were late. He then offered to help us read the website as if we were children. They will also inevitably respond to this review telling how we were wrong in our experience, but do read into how they word their response as it will be a little condescending or holier than thou (see the 3 other responses to the bad reviews as of my review). For transparency, I did send them a message that I had a bad experience and was a little aggressive in my tone by calling their actions stupid. The message is attached in a picture for all to read. Beyond the breakfast debacle, they also use AI cameras to track hotel guests so if you have any concerns with AI tracking best be wary. TLDR: Hostile staff makes hotel not a great place to stay. Would not recommend.
BEST LOCATION, AWESOME BREAKFAST AND HISTORIC VIBE❤️ I really love it
We had an amazing stay in Old San Juan! The location is perfect, close to everything, making it easy to explore the city, restaurants, shops, and historic sites. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and you can tell the staff takes great pride in maintaining the property. The breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning and was a great way to start our day. A special thank you to Freddy, Freddy’s wife, and Teresa for their outstanding hospitality and exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine warmth made our experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Old San Juan! ❤️🏝️
An outstanding boutique hotel experience. Teresa’s dedication, hospitality, and attention to detail is evident. Don’t skip on the breakfast! We enjoyed it every single morning and everything we ate was delicious. The balcony room is worth the little extra.
We had an amazing stay at 352 Guest House. We initially chose the hotel for its central location and walkability to anywhere in Viejo San Juan, but quickly realized we found a gem. Teressa and her team are extremely welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The hotel is modern, clean, and quiet, while still maintaining its historic features. Our balcony room was beautiful, and was turned over each day as soon as we left our room to head to breakfast. We were really glad our reservation included breakfast each morning because the food and coffee were delicious, and the service was great. We were also able to talk to the host doing this time, and we got a lot of helpful recommendations for places to eat, beaches to visit, etc. A lot of buildings in Old San Juan were experiencing shortages of water and intermittent power outages while we were there, but we didn’t experience any disruption in power or water pressure during our stay at the hotel. We later learned that they have a cistern and a back up generator to thank for that. We had an amazing time staying here, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Juan.
Jacuzzi. Place felt secure
There no windows in my room. However this was mentioned in the description of the place so I was prepared for that.
My wife and I stayed for a few nights while visiting Viejo San Juan. The location was great, the amenities were comfortable, and the service was awesome. We stayed in one of the standard rooms on the first floor and found the room a little small, but reasonable for the location. Noise was not an issue at all and the overall environment was relaxing. On the morning of our checkout, we had to depart shortly after breakfast started for a flight and the staff worked with us to ensure we could eat before leaving. They took our order the night before so they could quickly prepare everything as soon as we arrived at the breakfast room. We really appreciated how they accommodated us and quickly responded to out messages.
My stay at 352 Guest House was absolutely amazing. The hotel is beautiful, charming, and perfectly located in the heart of Old San Juan, making it easy to walk to all the historic sites, shops, and attractions. The guest services were top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing excellent recommendations for things to do, places to see, and some fantastic local restaurants. One of the highlights of the property is the rooftop terrace. It’s a great place to relax, take in the views of Old San Juan, and even watch the fireworks. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to end the day. If you’re looking for a beautiful boutique hotel with outstanding service and an unbeatable location, I highly recommend 352 Guest House. I would definitely stay here again!
The staff, breakfast, location, historical property and the roof top deck were all phenomenal.
Everything!
Cold use somewhere to warm food up
From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations! Beautiful historic building, lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast and service made our stay one to remember. Perfect birthday getaway!
We loved our stay at 352 Guest House! The location in Old San Juan is prime--towards the quieter side of OSJ, but everything is within a 10 minute walk. We slept great here, the outdoor noise is minimal (there is a restaurant downstairs, but they played very easy music so it was not difficult to fall asleep with). The staff here was incredibly responsive and helpful via text and email, and they went above and beyond to take care of us. Starting every day with a made to order breakfast in their cafe was a great start. We spent way too much time researching OSJ hotels, but we 352 Guest House surpassed all of our expectations and was an incredible value for what we paid. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, and it was very laid back and peaceful.
Management / owners are extremely unpleasant to deal with, I would highly suggest you stay elsewhere. We flew from St Thomas to San Juan to see the Ed Sheeran concert. We traveled with another couple and ran into a third couple that we know from St Thomas who were also staying there. Let me say that we are in our 60's ad 70's and extremely respective and polite. We went to the rooftop to sit together and the owner came out and said we can't gather together then proceeded to say we planned this 'large' group in advance and we knew better than to gather together, he said we were liars and bad people and we should be ashamed of ourselves. And he simply wouldn't stop with the insults and yelling!? We tried to reason and talk in an adult manner but this guy was inches from our face and seemed to be wanting to start a fight. I think he's got some serious anger issues he's dealing with. It's simply not worth it to potentially ruin your vacation by dealing with crazy people like this. We have stayed there in the past and liked the location but there's way too many issues to return, especially now that we are aware of the abrasive personality of the owner. There are lots of other alternatives in Old San Juan, stay elsewhere!!
Honestly, we loved almost everything about this place. Great location, super friendly staff, lovely breakfast included in the price, hot tub with fantastic views, meticulously clean facility with lots of beauty and charm.
Our balcony room was extremely loud at night. To be fair, there were earplugs in the room, but those usually don’t fit my ears. Instead we tried using white noise via YouTube, which helped a bit. I don’t think I would stay in a balcony room again but imagine the other rooms are much quieter.
My first time solo traveling and as a young Black woman, I felt safe and secure here. The place is nestled in Old San Juan which made it easy to sightsee then come back to reset if I overheated from the humidity or simply forgot something. The employees were sweet and breakfast was quick & convenient for my early morning excursions. Overall, the B&B is small, clean, and quiet with plenty of hot water. A/c was cold and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I stayed in the room with no outdoor windows and I personally didn’t have a problem. When I come back to Old San Juan, I will rebook here without a doubt!
This place was great! The best stay I had in PR. The rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet, and the location was great. I took an Uber from the airport and never needed a car during my time in Viejo San Juan. The location was also helpful to take a break from the sun and heat during the day as I visited town and the forts. The host was very helpful, kind, and attentive. I could not have asked for a better stay. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.
Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The shower in the bathroom was so relaxing with the rain head. Location was not far from a parking ramp. Building itself was historic and nicely decorated.
Minor work being done on the security system during our stay. Otherwise perfect
Everything was perfect with our visit to 325 Guesthouse. Delicious breakfast offerings, soft towels and sheets, very clean, extremely friendly service, helpful suggestions on places to eat, shop and visit, centrally located, air conditioning that keeps the room cool and the best part was the beauty of the place. It’s very obvious the owners and staff care and are customer oriented. I would highly recommend staying at 325! Thank you for helping our trip to el Viejo San Juan so wonderful.
Theresa and Freddy made our stay at 352 Guest House perfect! They're commitment to their guests shows in every aspect of the service they provide and the atmosphere they create. I wouldn't change a thing! The option to stay on the ground floor is perfect for those who may have difficulty with stairs. The location made walking the town so easy, so we feel we got to see everything we aimed for in the 36 hours we had before we cruised. I would definitely stay here longer on a future trip! The included breakfast was a wonderful surprise. Made to order! Not your standard included hotel breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Old San Juan! 100% Recommend!
Muy bien ubicada, excelente servicio y atención, todo muy limpio, perfecto y absolutamente maravilloso
Nos encantó todo
Located in the heart of Old San Juan, the hotel is just a short walk from the many sights, shops and restaurants that area has to offer. The place is kept meticulously clean, with rooms generally cleaned while guests enjoy a very nice breakfast. Rooms are quiet, although we had one off the street, so I can't speak to the balcony rooms. Definitely recommend this place as a great place to stay for the money! The hosts are most gracious and offer great suggestions for activities and restaurants nearby.
This is a fascinating old building, with the high ceilings and doors typical of old Spanish architecture. There is no elevator and stairs are not ADA compliant. We were prepared for that. I am marking 352 Guest House down for failure to provide for the guests. We had a 12:45 taxi to Ceiba. The hotel was kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage in the entry room. (there is not really a lobby). One of the members of our group discovered the need to access a back pack at 11:00. Suddenly we got a call that we now had to remove all our luggage, an unexpected, inconvenient turn of events. This misunderstanding could have been avoided had the staff told us we would be able to access our luggage only once. I would not stay at 352 Guest House again.
The staff does an amazing job of giving explicit instructions as it is a Boutique hotel without a traditional hotel lobby. Communication is key, our flight was delayed and we informed the staff our new time of arrival. They were there waiting for us. The location is centrally located, easy to walk to sites, shopping amazing restaurants and nightlife. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. In the evening it was quiet. The rooftop area is inviting, relaxing and great way to end your evening. There were plenty of options for breakfast, not only was the food tasty; the presentation was very creative. We traveled with my brother and his wife. During our stay I did not see any children. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Very clean establishment!!!
Location, good breakfast
Tough arrival location for dropping off luggage, etc. Also no flexibility with getting coffee 5-10 minutes early in the morning. And we were in room 4, which had absolutely no windows to the outside. It felt a little weird, only having one exit to the main hall of the building
352 is a beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of vibrant shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is amazing inside, extremely spacious with enormous ceilings. The hosts , Freddy and Teresa are so helpful and their breakfast is the best! You will have a very much enjoyable stay.
Decorating highlights Puerto Rican culture. Breakfast was very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful!!
We loved everything about this place!!!
Location was awesome and the balcony view was vibrant and lively. We love OSJ and this side of town was close to our favorite eating places
Great location. Very secure safety locks
I could use more charging outlets in the room.
The 352 Guest House is located centrally in Old San Juan. We were able to walk from San Cristobol at one end to El Morro at the other end and not be far from our hotel. The at,osphere is old town Puerto Rico, and the house has an interesting history with its arched doorways and high ceilings but it’s also updated with new bathrooms. Cleanliness gets a big plus with an attentive staff to,see to your needs and safety. It’s a quiet guest house with lovely art work throughout. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much.
My husband and I love this boutique hotel. We have stayed here every time we are in San Juan for exploring or cruises. The location in Old San Juan is perfect for shopping and there is a plaza, about a block away, for Ubers during busy work hours. The room is beautifully appointed and comfortable. Security is top-notch, as we feel safe returning late at night. Their delicious breakfast, especially blueberry pancakes, are served in the cutest patio area. The staff is minimal which is perfect as they have anticipated all your needs beforehand. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for some San Juan charm. Oh, they also have a rooftop view and hot tub!!
Superlatives: Friendliness, cleanliness, location, breakfasts, original art work all over, highest ceilings ever, historic, roof deck, and jacuzzi (although we never used it). We had a balcony room, and it seemed worth the extra $ to be able to look over the street. Not noisy. It didn't matter a bit that there was no desk. All was set up for our independence AND help was there if ever we needed it (we didn't). If we go back to OSJ, for sure we will go to 352.
5/5 This is a very charming building with original wood and tile work throughout. I loved the rainfall shower and although the room we had did not have a window, it really wasn’t an issue as we just slept there. The only con is the beds and pillows being so hard, but some people like a firm mattress. It wouldn’t deter me from staying there again though. The staff were wonderful, attentive, and kind. The included breakfast was delicious as well.
Our delightful “home away from home” for 6 nights in early March. A serene space with beautiful artwork and furnishings and a very convenient location for walking to historic sites and local restaurants. But it’s the genuine spirit of hospitality from Freddy and Teresa that really stood out. It truly felt like we were staying in a friend’s beautiful private home. Some memorable moments…elegant hallway and seating area on the 2nd floor…soaring ceiling with historic beams in our Balcony Room…sitting on the balcony overlooking lively Calle San Francisco…rooftop terrace in the early morning…Teresa’s cheerful greeting at breakfast in the light filled dining room…barista style morning coffee…delicious breakfast choices…very efficient housekeeping staff servicing our room while we’re at breakfast… our chat with Freddy about the extensive restoration process for this historic property. Given the convenient location, we easily explored San Cristobal and El Morro Forts and enjoyed strolling along the water on the Paseo de la Princesa and Paseo El Morro walking paths. Also nearby, excellent food & service at La Cantina di Ivo. And our favorite gastrobar, Juana La Loca, with friendly bartenders and unique cocktails. Outside Old San Juan, a 15-20 minute Uber ride to Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, contemporary art museum in Santurce and the Ron del Barrilito Rum Factory Tour in Bayamon. We are so glad we chose this boutique hotel. Thank you, Freddy & Teresa, for your warm hospitality and a wonderful stay.
Nothing!

Grand space, quiet, excellent breakfast, gracious.
Freddie and Teresa were excellent hosts. They accommodated our every need. the breakfast was superb. The small hotel was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed wine on the rooftop after a day of shopping in old San Juan. Great places to eat in the area.
We only stayed one night before our cruise, but loved it so much!! The property is beautiful and the staff really knows how to provide amazing service!
We stayed at this charming, family-run guesthouse hotel, full of character and truly immersed in authentic Puerto Rican culture, which is absolutely divine. The owners of this wonderful hotel are just like the place itself — wonderful and incredibly kind. They were truly perfect. I recommend this place 10,000%! The breakfasts are delicious — we loved absolutely everything from beginning to end. The room, the quality of the bedding, the bathroom — everything was fantastic. It was truly a heartfelt favorite and the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel is filled with kindness and has an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home — cozy and perfectly in harmony with the beautiful city of Old San Juan. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip. Don’t miss the rooftop terrace, which is absolutely charming, full of plants and featuring a great jacuzzi. Thank you so much for everything. Special mention for the chaï Latte, fabulous!
352 Guest house is a wonderful choice if you’re looking to stay in Old San Juan. The lovely staff is very warm, accommodating, and helpful. Clean and cozy, the property is very well kept. The included breakfast is a highlight. Great rooftop with hot tub, and perfect location to explore Old San Juan. We’re looking forward to when we can come back.
Owners were wonderful! Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious.
Great breakfast, nice roof terrace, very friendly staff
Beautiful old building in delightful old San Juan.
No windows.
352 Guest House Hotel Boutique has great hospitality, top tier cleanliness and convenience to restaurants and attractions. The hotel is beautiful with 18 foot ceilings and the architecture is stunning. The breakfast that is offered is also great! You can access the beach by taxi and the water is clear and relaxing. Hotel is conveniently located in a walkable area in Old San Juan. Thanks Teresa and Freddy for a wonderful stay and excellent service!!
Nothing. Everything was great!
Great location in the heart of Old San Juan. Such a kind staff and beautiful old building that has been well maintained. Loved having a drink on the rooftop.
Breakfast is yummy and runs from 7:30-9:30, but we were turned away at 9:10 one morning. Certainly not the end of the world but plan accordingly if you usually catch the very end of a breakfast window at a hotel.
Beautiful hotel, great location and the staff were super nice and welcoming
It’s a bit expensive but the location is top notch
Location
We arrived shortly after 11am for a 2 night stay. Our rooms were not ready until after 2pm, but the hotel stored our luggage for us and later moved it to our rooms once they were available. They also texted us as soon as the room was ready. Most of the rooms are on the 2nd floor with no elevator, but they do have three ground floor rooms that you can ask for when you make a reservation. Our room was very nice with high ceiling, good air conditioning and a good-sized bathroom with plenty of space for everything. The hotel was very quiet with no street noise. We also enjoyed their fresh-cooked breakfast (choice of 6 options plus beverage) which was included with our stay, served from 7:30 to 9:30 AM. We did walk up to the rooftop where were we saw a number of lounge chairs and a hot tub where a time could be reserved using their website.
We had the pleasure of staying at 352 Guest House in Old San Juan earlier this month, and this boutique hotel is truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, we loved the warmth of the property and how inviting it felt like staying in someone’s home, but with the added comforts of a delicious, thoughtfully prepared breakfast and modern technology that made us feel safe and secure while traveling. The rooftop area is the perfect place to unwind in the evening. It’s quiet, relaxing, and offers a beautiful setting to enjoy the night. Be sure to reserve the hot tub the views from there are absolutely stunning. Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful home with us. 352 Guest House will be the only place we stay when visiting San Juan in the future. Robert & Catherine
Delicious breakfast and coffee, extremely friendly service, and very clean room. Walking distance to anywhere in old San Juan, everything right outside your door.
My husband and I just returned from a magical stay ! The building has amazing historical beauty, and the rooftop deck was a private oasis we enjoyed daily. Location is great, its not on one of the loudest streets lined with loud bars, but you're minutes away from great restaurants. Highly recommend a balcony room. Breakfast was delicious and Teresa gave us great suggestions for things to see. We would definitely go back
Quiet and pleasant - lovely room, excellent hospitality, and the rooftop is an added bonus for unwinding. The hosts were extremely helpful with sightseeing suggestions. The location is perfect for sightseeing and walking. I would highly recommend as an adults only, clean, and relaxing hotel.
Tout était au top, personnel inclus
Tout est oarfsit
The staff was warm inviting and so very helpful. So perfect. Easy walking distance to every wonderful thing in Old San Juan.
This may be the best small boutique hotel stay, we have ever had. We have been fortunate to have some incredible global travels in 35 years and we always look for the perfect, intimate stay. This place has been amazingly renovated and the beauty of it is additionally enhanced by owners, Teresa and Freddy. The location in old San Juan is a perfect jumping off place to explore the city and all it has to offer. I would recommend this to anyone going to San juan!
Owners Teresa and Freddy warmly welcome to us and are so friendly. The property is not only beautiful but also perfectly located in the middle of everything, easily walkable to restaurants and sites. We stayed in a room with a balcony and it was very very quiet. The breakfast options were all excellent. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here when we return.
Amazing hospitality from Teresa, incredible location, everything we could ask for in a comfortable, beautiful room. We made sure to be up for breakfast each morning because it was so delicious - order the beans! The rooftop jacuzzi was an incredible experience and worth taking advantage of. Will absolutely be back.
This is an absolutely wonderful find in old San Juan. From the location to the staff, rooms, to the food, it was amazing!! The breakfast was delicious!! The owners were kind, accommodating, and very helpful. The views from the roof deck were amazing. I wish them many years of success. Until next time!!
We just returned from 2 nights here, what a wonderful experience. The hospitality, service, cleanliness, location and breakfast are all 5-star. Kudos to this small family run "guest house" they do a wonderful job and are always there if you need anything. There are many places to choose from in Old San Juan but this one is a gem and an easy choice. We enjoyed having our little oasis in the middle of this crazy old town, with a really nice homemade breakfast to start each day.
I stayed with my girlfriend at the beginning of November and stayed for about a week. We cannot be more happy with our stay. We initially looked at MANY different places and reviewed many reviews from different hotels. The top things we were looking for were cleanliness, location, peace and quiet and affordability. We also hoped we could find a place that included breakfast, but it was not a top criteria. We were read some bad reviews in all the hotels we looked at, so we had to weigh the good and bad. We are so happy we ignored the bad reviews given to 352 guesthouse. We found the bad reviews were unfair and unfounded. We were so surprised to find that not only our expectations were met but they were far exceeded. We did not have any surprises and the ones we did have were incredibly good surprises. What we found was an incredibly warm family atmosphere that was not only professional but also very accommodating and welcoming. I cannot describe how happy we were in our stay. Freddy and crew treated us like family and beyond. We travel a lot and typically stay at Bed and Breakfast locales and this was even better than most Bed and Breakfast. The other thing we liked was the they are meticulous about cleanliness and quiet. We really appreciate a very clean and quiet stay anywhere we go, and they exceeded our expectations. They also helped us with recommendations for restaurants, travel and even storing our luggage. I even feel that part of the reason we had such a good vacation is knowing we were coming back to the hotel every day - because it felt like home. Thank you so much Fredy and the rest of your wonderful crew for such a pleasant stay. Please do not be mislead by the bad reviews, this place is gold. I never typically write reviews and if I do, they are for criticism, not for praise (yes I am one of those people). Again, don't believe the bad reviews, You will not be disappointed in choosing this hotel.
We had an excellent 2 day stay at the 352 Guest House before a cruise. The staff were all very helpful and attentive from before our arrival to our departure. Our room was lovely and spotless and quiet. The rooftop deck was a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours relaxing. The cooked to order breakfast was perfect. We highly recommend the 352 Guest House and hope to return there someday.
Hotel was excellent, it was clean, technology to come and go worked flawlessly. Staff was super polite and inviting. Breakfast was excellent, coffees were perfect. Rooftop space and hot tub was enjoyable. Loved the view of the city at night.
Our mattress was a bit hard, sleep was a little rough. Platform to use the texting feature or call was a bit slow. All other options on the platform worked well.
The room itself had a unique ambiance, we genuinely appreciated that aspect. However, our overall experience was marred by an encounter that left us stunned. While we understand that some establishments enforce strict policies, the level of rigidity and hostility we faced was beyond reasonable. We were simply trying to move a few wedding gifts downstairs to the main exit door so that family members specifically the groom’s parents could pick them up and take them to the rehearsal venue. This process would have taken no more than two minutes. Instead, we were met by a man who appeared to be either the manager or owner. He immediately confronted us. Without any real attempt at understanding or dialogue(we at first apologized), he blocked the door, physically jammed his foot in it, and locked my wife out threatening to call the cops. This behavior was uncalled for. There was no empathy, no professionalism, and certainly no tact. My wife had recommended this hotel to others coming to the wedding, but after this experience, we’ll be advising everyone we know to stay elsewhere and avoid like the plague. Hospitality should be grounded in respect and basic human decency, qualities that were sorely lacking here. To the individual in who confronted us(freddy I believe): your conduct was unacceptable. You demonstrated a complete lack of judgment, and if this is how you treat guests, it’s only a matter of time before word spreads and business suffers. In short: the room may be nice, but the management is not. If you value a respectful, reasonable environment, look elsewhere.
