Fabulous room view , great location , staff very helpful Luke was good guy as was , John waiter , lasses behind bar very helpful, lovely older lady who cleaned room , great hotel very happy stay , only thing was no life in bar whatsoever, missed bit of entertainment.

Very nicely decorated, the view out to the sea was beautiful to wake up to. Staff were super friendly and arranged for us to have a slightly early breakfast as we had an early meeting. Nothing was too much trouble

Lovely spacious room. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Parking on street was free with ticket from hotel and also plentiful. Beautiful sea views, lovely clean and comfortable room and beds.

Bathroom and shower was small. No cat swinging possible. I am 5' 3" and 48kg. Dinner menu limited and a little pretentious. Soup was excellent but main was disappointing for the price. Wine selection limited. Only supplied by the bottle...I couldn't drink the one I chose. (Chardonnay)

All the staff at this Hotel made my stay feel special with a very relaxed atmosphere and lovely decor. Great facilities. Cosy reading room and fabulous Restaurant. The cooked breakfast was amazing.

I had a single room which was the only one available as the Hotel was fully booked. The room was a bit small with no view which felt a bit claustrophobic but saying that it had everything you needed and the bed was comfy.

Could do with a secure car park as unfortunately my vehicle was keyed whilst parked on an adjacent street. NOT the hotels fault, I’d be happy to return and source alternative parking arrangements

Most staff were excellent and helpful. The location was good. The food was also very good and this includes the meal that we ate on the last night. A small jug of normal milk was provided if asked for in order to have a decent cuppa in your room.

The water flow for the shower was absymal and for that reason alone we will not return here. Another guest had also mentioned this to us just prior to our checking out. The toilet flusher had also broken while we were there and it took housekeeping two days to find this fault. To the hotel's credit, we were informed that a plumber was on site and dealing with the issue and were given a free drink to compensate for the nuisance factor. The cleanliness was not great throughout the premises with sticky tables in the restaurant, dust on the fan and on top of the cupboards in the room itself.

Lovely, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to be served at the table for breakfast. Breakfast was very good, with enough choice. There was always plenty of staff on duty at meal times. The Weston prides itself on its restaurant, Cecils. We ate two dinners there and were very happy with the quality, service and value for money. Upon request it was possible to have fresh milk in a jug for tea and coffee in the bedrooms, which was a nice surprise. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout. There is a very comfortable lounge area for guests to enjoy. Our room was quite small, but had a view of the sea and Scarborough harbour. It was peaceful and relaxing, and we were able to walk to the Italianate Gardens, as well as the Spa complex nearby. We were grateful for the lift in the hotel, as well as plenty of on-street parking, for which permits were provided by the hotel.

We realise there were some space restraints and my husband found the shower space was rather restricted. (He has Parkinsons). A little too much furniture in our room, 3 chairs and an extra table!

The comfort double room was very small for 2 people. The bed was small size not wide enough or long enough. Bathroom was clostraphobic!

Tastefully decorated, clean and convenient. Beautiful views from a fabulous room on the second floor. Breakfast is superb value and excellent choices. Coped admirably with special diets too. We will be going back!

I’m really struggling to think of anything. Parking is on street but we managed to get really close to the hotel and even in August there was plenty of space.

Einchecken war zum Glück schon früher möglich. Der Blick vom Hotel auf die Stadt war zwar schön, doch liegt es außerhalb. Wollte man nicht im Hotel zu Abend essen, musste man notgedrungen doch ein Stück in die Stadt laufen.

Extrem hellhöriges Hotel ! Bei der Außenansicht des Hotels hätte ich dies nie erwartet. Mein Zimmer war zwar im 2. Stock , doch konnte ich das Fernsehprogramm der Nachbarn hören. Früh am Morgen waren bereits die Schritte der Bewohner von oberhalb zu hören ! Frühstück wird im Restaurant serviert, doch ab 08 Uhr für mich viel zu spät ! Fenster war nicht zu öffnen. Der Spiegel im Zimmer war so angeordnet, dass ich nur meinen Bauch sehen konnte ! Mit 158 GB pro Nacht war das Hotel damit viel zu teuer.

We had a wonderful short break. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is lovely and quiet in South Bay, with great transport links if you want to explore Scarborough and the surrounding area.

We would have loved a sea view, but unfortunately all the sea-view rooms had already gone when we booked.

What a find! Lovely friendly service, beautiful tasteful decor and in a stunning location. The hotel was clean and the room was extremely comfortable with a large bed and probably the best pillows I’ve ever had. Delicious breakfast with impeccable waiter service made this a truly wonderful experience. Will definitely be returning on our next trip to Scarborough, very highly recommended.

Everything! It was all that you could ask for, clean, well maintained, excellent staff, exceptional service. The food was delicious too.

It was very warm in our room. However, it was 35 degrees outside, and an old building. Everybody found the heat difficult that day. Hotel provided a fan in the room, in the bottom of the wardrobe.

Wonderful hotel. Staff were delightful and the rooms and food were lovely. We’d definitely stay there again.

Short walk in to the centre (and quite a treck to the open air theatre) and it’s up a hill but we were fine with that. The surrounding area is really lovely though.

Excellent hotel with attentive staff who made it a very pleasurable stay. Permit parking with plenty of available spaces. A beautiful setting overlooking the sea with easy access to the beach either by a pathway or the funicular which is close to the hotel.

The attic room with a seaview was fantastic but very warm to sleep in. Having said that, we did make use of the fan.

A lovely family run hotel, staff were friendly and very accommodating. I was very surprised to find such a lovely hotel with sea views that certainly out did my expectations. We had booked for one night stay, attending concert at Scarborough Open Air Theatre. It was in a location just on the edge of Scarborough which had on street parking. It might have been recently updated, the bedroom was stylish and bathroom clean and fresh. The dining room was again beautiful decorated, staff very attentive and the breakfast was excellent! I would highly recommended the hotel and would stay again.
